Honestly, stop making a fool of yourself. . Stop making deductions when you don't have enough information from the other end. We are obviously talking about who the MVP is right now. So there can always be a contender until there is a winner. When someone opines that someone is the MVP, it's probably a momentary assertion, unless the other party says otherwise. You can always ask to be sure. . So in real-time(since it seems there's some sort of time dilation on your end ), saying someone is the MVP at a point in time does not mean, he'll get the crown. The clause was "Giannis is the rightful MVP". Meanwhile, you asked a question i am yet to answer. .I will get back to you.steady986: |
You are a lost cause, man. steady986: |
Stop being unnecessarily strong-headed. Nobody is praising AD, as you know yourself, he's done this before. We are only punching holes in your Lebron for MVP campaign. If you didn't get this then i am very sorry for you. At least that was my point, unless @A40 thinks differently. steady986: |
Carrying and Co-carrying are two different things. . Propelling a team to a winning record while playing alongside another superstar is not carrying. Co-carrying doesn't have to be 50/50. We can still discuss the value of each co-carrier. Why are you making it seem as if we criticised ADs game. None of us argued against his lack of talent or wherewithal. Our argument is he couldn't carry that team, and that is a fact. What we know now is that AD can co-carry, with another superstar, but the argument about his inability to carry NOP still holdssteady986: |
Sure, but i will keep reminding you of this day. Not unbeatable afterall. Athletico disvirgined you, then allowed you wonder about for a while, then come wife you again. You don suffer. maynation: |
You don Mellow. Good. . Take the L in good faith. If i hear say you enter MANU thread again. ![]() maynation: |

Stop making promises you know you can't fulfill. Hopefully you will stop constituting a nuisance all over the place. ![]() maynation: |
I guess we may have to look at him differently now, under different circumstances. . I have never doubted his talent though, in fact his talent is one of the reasons why i concluded that his stint at NOP was an underachievement. But there's one more thing i still don't trust about him though. We'll have to wait till the playoffs for that one. However, for now, i can't help but admit that the guy is balling out. We knew he could put up those numbers, but to do that alongside LeBron, as you indicated, is something quite impressive. Roland17: |
Honestly, i can't believe i am defending AD fervently, given my criticism of his underachievement at NOP. . When you listen to the media, it looks like Lebron is mister do it all. Defending and offending the back and front. . But if you look closely, you realize that, ahah, not quite the superman. It's just the typical case of AD de Alafia de. ![]() A40: |
The Rose situation and the current situation are not comparable at all. Not even remotely. The bulls led by Rose had a better record that the Heats led by Lebron with Wade and Bosh and you tell me Rose didn't deserver it. That fact alone made him a serious contender. This case is different. Giannis not only has a better record, he leads him in multiple categories too. Now if LAL takes over with the best record, as you suggested, then that's something worth considering. steady986: |
Man, sorry, but GOAT and LEBRON don't belong in the same sentence. . U can't even convincingly say that Lebron has been more valuable to the team than AD. Leading the team in 3 or 4 out of 8 relevant categories is what is called GOAT. I could make an argument that AD has contributed as much as LEBRON in this run. It's quite blasphemous to put GOAT and LEBRON together. ![]() \ DeeMain: |
You didn't mention blocks. 2.5 to 0.5. And stop talking as if he could score 50 points per game. He cannot, even if he wanted to. He leads him in multiple categories and that's it. Lebron didn't make the playoffs last season, although he had similar stats. steady986: |
The argument is about the weight. Who has contributed the most to LAL's success statistically? And please don't bring up "You have to watch LAL games to see who contributes more" steady986: |
But honestly can you tell me how many 3 pointers Howard attempted and how many he made. The sample size is so small that the NBA doesn't even remember. . Perhaps they just did that hoping no one would notice. And your submission on Judging the best 3-point shooters based on FG% is bogus. Where did you get it from? The status quo hs always been volume and FG%. I hope we don't revisit this issue again. Just forget this Howard thing. Your argument is quite laughable.steady986: |
Don't tell me that's what you believe ooo. I know the angle you are playing. . Well played. But statistical analysis says sample size does not help your argument. The guy is shooting a whooping 60%, and Lebron won't encourage him to shoot more? steady986: |
You can't trust someone with money you had to work or beg your ass off to get. At least not our fellow people at this point. Honestly, calling a mistake is an understatement. I would be very furious with myself. chokas: |
Leading 3 point shooter? Is that what the sheet says? You didn't even bother to look at AD's contribution. You went all the way to Howard. Such Sound analysis. The world is hard indeed. steady986: |
But LeBron is the MVP now. . AD quietly leading in most categories .Ayele ooo. ![]() A40: |
I honestly don't understand how someone would bring up such arguments to support his MVP case. Eyedea: |
Usual base? Are you kidding Me? You are yet tl win the EPL toffyz: |
At this point, we just have to let the Lebron fans enjoy this win while it lasts. . And Lebron seems to be the only subject being discussed in this win. AD quietly dropped 30.A40: |
When i thought his MVP case took a bad hit. We have on our hands a league of narratives. steady986: |
Probably true, but that's not enough, he's got to produce offensively too. He got 2 points in the Bucks game. Yes 2 points. That was egregious. . He's been blunt offensively against Clippers as well. steady986: |
How old is Salah abeg? Do you know how many goals Rashford scored before he got injured? Gerrahere. Numerouno94: |
I will admit, i wasn't expecting 12-14. That was good. Perhaps the Clippers were not expecting it either, hence the hack. ![]() steady986: |
You made a rookie mistake. So you now know KD wasn't there when GSW went 73-9. And don't be salty about it. It's ok to make mistakes. ![]() iamJ: |
Too intelligent? Where did you get that from? aliondo: |
This game does not say much about any of the teams at this point. In fact the distribution of the points gives a hint of a potential 7-game series. Such a weird distribution. Perhaps the 4th game might provide a better picture. We are not sure Avery can provide such a contribution 4 times in a series, or perhaps, he and Kuzma can alternate. . We are also not sure Lou can be this bad 4 times in a series. The lakers better hope he will be. |
Perhaps that was bad from Kawhi. But your King shot poorly. It would do you a lot of good to mention AD, maybe that comment should be don't sleep on AD. I hope he brings that to the Playoffs. steady986: |
Maybe it starts with great duos, but it ends with that third guy. You are not winning the championship without that third guy. Infact the complexion of any series deep into the playoffs today usually depends on which third guy shows up. You could have anomalies though. chic2pimp: |
You are learning and that's a good thing. ![]() iamJ: |
