Are you alright? Obsessed with you? You are really out of touch with reality. I don't even know where the hell you come from or who you really are. Moreso, an obsession has a particular target and the target in this case doesn't seem to have a peculiar personality. Weak? Do you even know the definition of the word? You may want to use the dictionary next time or get a better education. grin. Concerned about your free time? I would assume you are using that in relation to obsession. You were the one that stated that you have a lot of free time not me.I needed to set the record straight, cos you kept mentioning that GSW fans are hiding. We are only just avoiding the unrepentant nuisance.
KarnBarlow:
Picking fights? Me? LOL! So when you lot were on top and trolling other teams you weren't picking fights? You avoid this thread because you are spineless and weak and cant take what you dish out. Is this how you look the other way? by responding to my posts? LOL Admit it, you are obsessed with me. And why are you so concerned with my free time? Seems like yomi is jealous. You can go back into hiding now.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 9:43pm On Nov 23, 2019
No. No No, GSW fans are fine. We have accepted our situation, and we are definitely not hiding. We are just trying to avoid you cos you relentlessly constitute a nuisance in this space. You seem to derive a lot of pleasure from picking fights here. The best way to deal with people like you is to look the other way. Enjoy 'your free time'.
KarnBarlow:
We prefer the term "kingsmen", thank you very much. You know smoosh, I respect the hell out of you, i really do and i can't say the same about 99% of the people on this thread. Everyone can see how the warriors bandwagon fans have abandoned this thread, how most of you lot have fallen into depression. And yet here you are, protecting your warriors and your precious wardell. I can respect that. Now does that mean i am going to take it easy on you? Nope! Mark me, i am never going to let you forget how far you lot have fallen.
Family › Re: How Do I Understand/satisfy My Husband? by benji93: 12:22am On Nov 22, 2019
Lady, you may have to go and live with your Oyibo people grin. That's a socio-economic feature peculiar to them, and alien to our society. I don't know what cultural setup you exist in, but a man who does household chores is generally treated with contempt around here. It's incredibly hard to develop immunity to the opinions originating from your immediate environment cos you belong there. You think the questions we frequently have to answer in life are so simple that our answers have to be simple as well. However the contexts of these questions do not always allow for an easy decision. Do you know how embarrassing and depressing it is for a man making millions monthly to become jobless and a glorified househusband? Our society as it is now encourages men to take charge of their households, we generally get paid a lot more than women. So until our socio-economic clime changes you may want to take it easy on men that are reluctant to turning into househusbands. Note: my opinion is regarding the reluctance of men to engage in domestic activities extensively.
AwkaetitiBabe:
That's why I love oyibo mentality, he would have turned into the house husband to help you d bread winner out pending when he gets a job.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93:
You seem to have insecurity issues man. Don't take it as an insult, it's a deduction from the history of this emploment issue. I never stated that I never asked if you had a job, so I am trying to figure out why you took the time to quote those posts . Can't you see those posts are literally littered with emojis. My argument was, what is the significance of you taking that question seriously? You make it seem like anyone here really cares if you do or do not have a job. You chose to be here for most of the time (as you wrote, I have a lot of free time), and that's the decision of a grown man. By asking you that question, I was only poking you, and surprisingly you buckled. While you do this for most of your posts here, you didn't expect any counteraction? I mean people do that consistently on this forum. One person says the other person is jobless, the other person replies-you are definitely uneducated. It goes on and on. Most people don't even use their real names here. Again for someone who does a lot of trolling, you have a very thin skin. See let's just forget about this employment issue, it seems to get to you. I will never mention it with respect to Barlow again. Although I may do it when Talon comes back grin
KarnBarlow:
What the hell is wrong with this guy?
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 6:40pm On Nov 18, 2019
Man this is a space where most people anonymous. What are you trying to prove by telling me you do have a job. I can't it either. You can't be anymore insrcure. You talk about my alter ego, when you have at least 5 different accounts here. For someone who does a lot of trolling, you seem to be bothered by this and that surprises me.
KarnBarlow:
You talked about my employment but you didn't expect me to respond about my employment. RIght! I see your alter ego is here as well. Which one of you should i respond to from now on?
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 3:42pm On Nov 18, 2019
I think you may want to take it easy on the subject. As much as he cannot prove Ahmed Musa is 27, you cannot prove otherwise either. You may only be able to provide arguments to that effect if you know Ahmed Musa personally. Otherwise the bases for arguing the case of less or greater than 27 on this space can only rest on his history or the fact that majority of Nigerian footballers groomed at home are culprits of age cheating. Shameful that we do these? Yes. They are products of the unfortunate state of our country. Before some of them even get the opportunity to discover themselves, they are well above 18. Can't you see how most of the players of our youth teams play despite the fact that most of them are well above 20?
komekn:
If you can not prove his age then what is purpose of your proposition.

It's vice versa, you can not have it both ways.

Unfortunately and shamefully Nigeria does not have OFFICIAL AUTOMATIC BIRTH DATA CAPTURE. As a consequence it is IMPOSSIBLE to have official age verification in Nigeria.

In Nigeria we rely entirely on personal integrity which knowing our country and it's value system is very very weak indeed.

We can't even have basic free and fair elections.

Consider your claim in bold and the substanceof your initial statement. i.e. " were you there when he was born "

So back to you, prove that Ahmed Musa is 27 huh ❓
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 2:11pm On Nov 17, 2019
For someone who takes pride in his knowledge, you seem to have a lot of insecurity. I wasn't expecting you to tell me you do have a job. As there is no way I can verify that. Now that you have said It, it's good do know you are alright. And yeah it's non of my business, just asking a question based on an observation. grin
KarnBarlow:
Lol. You just said i dont get paid to be on here. Why is that any of your business? I don't need yomi to tell me how to live my life.

Just FYI, I have a full time job, but i also have a lot of free time. Not that its any of your business.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 1:55pm On Nov 17, 2019
It looks like Le(3-6 )Bron' s final losses is about to be extended. grin. Oh sorry, is he even making the finals self? Hell na. You may want to think about stat padding Bron, for MVP, I would think you are well on that path, cos the future looks grim Le (3-6)Bron. grin
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 7:44pm On Nov 16, 2019
Count another man's money? Are you kidding me? Are we discussing how much you earn? You are clearly mostly always on here. So that begs the question: Do u have an actual job? grin. And stop calling me somebody else's name. Hey, I am just trying to be a good compatriot you know. grin.
KarnBarlow:
Well how are you sure I don't? Stop counting other peoples money. Mind your business yomi.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 3:14pm On Nov 16, 2019
You may want to find an actual job man. You don't get paid for roaming about this space. grin

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 3:04pm On Nov 16, 2019
You keep repeating it. You got amnesia or Sth? grin. Have at it, you have been in the shadows for too long.

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 1:25am On Nov 14, 2019
In order for you to prove that i implied such at any point, you will have to show the connection between both accounts. Since you have been unable to do that, so far, you may want to get yourself out of this embarassing situation while you can. That reminds me , were you not the one that told me some time ago that you are capable of digging information on anyone? If that's the case you may want to put your investigative skills to use. grin.
Meanwhile, you finally signed out. We are definitely making progress. grin
KarnBarlow:
Are we pretending now? cheesy
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 12:12am On Nov 14, 2019
I honestly considered not responding until you added the last comment. I claimed? I don't normally use this phrase- but please where? In my case I don't have multiple accounts, so it won't be hard to find it. grin. I hope you aren't still on your hopeless mission of proving yomi96 and benji93 were created by the same person.
But honestly, you be watchman for here. You always dey online. grin.
KarnBarlow:
Thank you. I too believe I can never lose because I always bring the facts.

I still won't forgive you for claiming siakam is better than AD though.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 5:48pm On Nov 13, 2019
You may want to stop arguing with that guy. It's an exercise in futility.
A40:
Who are these other players? You think if Sam Presti knew the future he would let Harden walk and not enter luxury tax if need be?

And I have given you 3-4 other players who didn't enter the league with the fanfare of a high draft pick and still delivered at MVP level

Their 13-14 roster was good enough to get to 40 wins. Even their 15-16 roster and especially 16/17 roster as well. If they were even a .500 team while he played then they would have had to lose every game he didn't play just to not scratch 40
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:18pm On Nov 12, 2019
Slow down Rowland. You may have to give me your definition of spectacular. Cos Giannis averaged almost 27 points 10 rebounds and 4.8 assists the season prior. And AD has definitely not been playing at this level since he entered the league. He developed too. His floor was definitely higher though. Now, we are obviously coming from different perspectives. You obviously have an eye for talent. I do too, but not as much as growth. Which leads me to the question, what is your criteria for the ' reach argument' ? What manner of dominance from Giannis could warrant a conversation of 'reach' ? We may have to shelve Siakam's case for now, cos my argument has never been the one of 'reached' now. I am speaking to his growth for the claim of 'reach' in maybe 2 years. His growth at the moment is quite ridiculous.
Roland17:
For what it is worth and for the sake of argument and your post, Giannis has enjoyed only one spectacular season and that was his MVP season last year, right? So we don’t have an exhaustive body of work to make any conclusive debate in relation to AD in whatever context you put it.
Bare in mind they entered the league 1 year away from each other, 2012 & 2013. The same narrative will be made for Siakam, he has only enjoyed 1 spectacular season, he has not done anything over a long period of time so why should I believe you over someone who has been playing at this level since he entered the league especially when he is healthy? There are a lot of ifs and buts in the narrative you guys are choosing.
Please don’t misconstrue my argument to mean Giannis is not a superstar in this league because that would be untrue but don’t make it sound like he is better than AD. If a healthy AD replaced Giannis in that Bucks roster last year, they beat the Raptors, no questions asked, spot the difference.
You can game plan for one by building the proverbial wall at the entrance of the key as discovered by Brad Stevens and force him to become a jump shooter and even if he penetrates, foul him and send him to the FT line, the other? Your guess is as good as mine. As for Siakam, it is not even close and I maintain that.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 9:02pm On Nov 12, 2019
Yes we agree, Giannis does need to be multidimensional to win ultimately-Not many players can stop this one-dimensionality anyway. It took the elite defensive prowess of Kawhi to properly expose him. But again, it seems like you want this young man to win. However, give me a player that averages over 27pts per game and double-digit rebounds we are definitely right on track. If he averages over 5 assists, now that's overtime. grin. At the moment the regular season is the only yardstick available to compare AD to any other guy. Giannis in this case. What Giannis needs or does not need to do to lead the bucks to a championship is definitely a thing, but in this argument it is of no significance. AD is one of a kind, agreed. But can he reproduce his dominance especially between 2016 and 2018? We would never know, especially now that he is playing alongside LeBron. Has he stagnated? Maybe, the stats show that, but he's been some injury problems lately, so we cannot say for sure. The last I checked, in our world, more talented does not always translate to better player. It definitely is a recipe though.
Roland17:
I thought we finished last season with the consensus that Giannis is a 1 dimensional player who needs to diversify his offense in order to lead the Bucks to the finals? I have not seen anything different this season to think otherwise.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:56pm On Nov 11, 2019
You are missing something here. The comparison is between a player that came in as a phenom and is seemingly not growing by much-you could argue that there isn't much to change, cos he's that good a player-and a player taking a quantum leap from one year to another. This is not limited to basketball. Some professionals reach their peaks early on and just stagnate, while others start slowly and just start leaping after a while. Pascal's growth could definitely stagnate, but if it doesn't he definitely has the potential to reach AD's level. Comparing their ages is not enough an input in this argument. The rate of growth could also be considered a factor in this analysis. Asserting that he is better than AD at this moment is definitely an exaggeration though.
Roland17:
It would be difficult to near impossible to make that case for Siakam, especially when you consider the age difference between both players is just 1. AD is 26 while Siakam is 25. I don’t see AD slowing down or regressing anytime soon except a career altering/ ending injury occurs and Siakam would have to work his tails out to catch up with, worth more surpassing AD. If Siakam was like 5-7 years younger than AD then I may consider your school of thought. AD is an exceptional talent who can surpass the peak he achieved in New Orleans and that is scary.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93:
You previously told me not to mention you again. So why the hell are you mentioning me? Keep wondering. You certainly think every other person has the time to keep creating new profiles as you consistently do. Since you have a lot of time on your hands start investigating. Start finding the link between the two profiles. When you find the connection tell us. Perhaps I will recommend you for a job at EFCC. A well-done job deserves a reward. grin. Meanwhile what basketball knowledge do you have? You mean the one that keeps changing profiles. If you cannot stick to one account, how do you expect us to believe anything you say? When are we getting Talon back? Is the change of profile in anyway periodic? grin
VaughnSangrey:
Man! I have seen it all on this thread. I swear some people shouldn't be allowed to talk about basketball. This yomi96 guy though is funny AF. LMAO! Now i'm starting to wonder if him and benji93 are the same person because they were certainly cut from the same cloth. cheesy
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 3:29pm On Nov 11, 2019
That was why i wrote that, he probably thought you are a LeBron fan first. You made a good point in the end. We were toddlers then.
steady986:
Well, LeBron and the Cavs got swept, not the Lakers. And where was GS when we were racking up 16 titles?
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 2:58pm On Nov 11, 2019
You never got the opportunity to sit at the table. Otherwise if there was any dosage deadlier that a sweep you would get it. He was referring to Le(3-6)Bron obviously.
steady986:
Which sweeps? I can't remember my team getting swept by GS.

And I know you'd support tour players at all cost, but try to judge this situation with a neutral mind.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 2:55pm On Nov 11, 2019
I guess you never know one's true potential until circumstances reveal it. I would love to test your assertion-reverse their roles and see how they do. That may never be possible. How would you know Klay is not good a leader, if he's never been saddled with such a responsibility?
steady986:
Beal is not playing with 3 other allstars like Klay is
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 2:46pm On Nov 11, 2019
Yes you are very correct my guy. However you forgot one thing. He also babysits the last born of Curry. grin
xwolverine:
Yes, he is, or how do you describe his style of play?
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 2:40pm On Nov 11, 2019
Until he is saddled with such a responsibility and he actually fails this is not a truth statement. And the Beal that seems to a better leader, where has he led his team to? Canaan? grin
steady986:
Klay that is nothing but a 3 & D guy. Can he lead a franchise? Klay is just a better 3 point shooter and a slighter better defender(although his defence is overrated). Beal is a much more complete baller.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:14am On Nov 11, 2019

Okay benji.

Don't bring that narrative here man. It's not anybody's fault if those guys Bleep it up in the end. It's always gonna be Le (3-6)Bron' s teammates anyway. However I put it to you that you are a more talented team on paper. grin
VaughnSangrey:
You mean the dwight who couldnt find a team in the NBA (granted hes been playing well), injury prone boogie who got injured again. Danny Green who every here said was a waste of money, bradley who everyone said was washed? Kuzma who is playing like super saiyan KCP? rondo mcgee and caruso? LOL This guy.

Like i said, you dont know basketball.

I hail ooo. Person ask you to compare two players. But you still manage bring another guy into the matter. Where you go school for? grin
steady986:
If you even ask me to choose between Bradley Beal and Klay Thompson, I'd choose Beal. That guy is a legit scorer.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93:
What he is doing is placing Le (3-6) bron grin on a pedestal. He is attempting to create a scenario in which Le(3-6)Bron can never take a knock. It's either he lost because the other team is one of the greatest teams of all time. Or he wins, in which case you know the story.
KNIGHTBlaed:
I see what you're trying to do here. Same thing you did the Warriors, Hyping them as much as you can so you'll be the first to laugh if anything happens. Nice try.

Now tell us, your team has AD and Bron, will you say Kawhi/PG13 > Bron/AD? Then look at the rest of the team and bench and tell us which the best team in the NBA is at the moment. Look closely at your coaching crew and look again, then come and tell us the Clippers are the best team in the League or the best team ever assembled. A team being balanced does not mean they have the best players on the team, you've decided to start arguing recently that the Clippers are the most complete team in the league. PG13 is not even back and so is Rondo and Boogie. Do you even know how many allstars you'll have? Is Danny Green not amongst the Raptors that won the chip? Abegi enough with the hype, we see what you're trying to do.

Please I suggest your face your own team and hype your team. Y'all have got them best record so far, so why not hype your team and leave us alone.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:31am On Nov 10, 2019
Yeah. I understand you. And I knew where he was going. That as why i initially indicated that the narrative exists only in his mind. A practical person would never think that. Only a Bronsexual would. grin.
SmooshCHN:
I'm disappointed you fell for that. Really disappointed you still don't get what he's trying to do.
What do you think TalonVonner as the biggest LeBron fan out here will say if the Lakers beat the Clippers (according to him, is the greatest team assembled) in the playoffs? grin
We saw that coming from miles away.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:46pm On Nov 09, 2019
Guy stop it. You are retreating again. No one disputes the pedigree of the Cippers team. The argument is about the 'one of the greatest teams' tag. Simple. Stop going back ad forth.
TalonVonner:
LOL The clippers are clearly the best team in the league, getting all the attention and fear GS used to get. Stop hating.
