If he's really interested in the welfare of the Igbo, then he should support Obi. After all you've said it yourself, he's educated and a good man. BAT should heed the call of his kin, the afenifere and support Obi to show his true interest in the welfare of Nigeria. |

It's the soul of the eastern region (SE/SS), that's what was obtainable before Nigeria got balkanized. Also it was the capital of the old Anambra State following the creation of Anambra and Imo states after the civil war. It has retained it's nobility and civility and anyone from SE and SS are happy to call it their home today. |

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Ended Era Of Godfatherism In Anambra — Bianca Ojukwu by bibe(m): 12:30am On Jan 01, 2023 |
undisputedKOC: Yes, I think she's right because her husband Ojucrook was the biggest godfather in Anambra politics who handpicked the political fraudster Peter Obi and made him Anambra governor twice by selection not election.
After Peter Obi failed woefully in his 1st term, Ojucrook the godfather of Anambra politics used emotional blackmail on Anambra people begging them to grant him 1 last political wish so that APGA won't be disgraced and overcome by PDP. But at the end of it all, Obi failed woefully again in his second term as Anambra governor.
Obi rubbiahed Ojucrook APGA legacy, used and dump Ojucrook party in the mud and went to PDP. That was how Obi ended Ojucrook as a godfather because Anambra politicians and people stopped taking him serious or granting him any political wishes again.
And that's when Ojucrook people in APGA placed a curse on Peter Obi that turned him into a political vagabond roaming from one party to another searching for power in vain. The Ojucrook curse is what makes Peter Obi sound like an slowpoke that sells used spare parts in Alaba any time he speaks Lol... Delusions of grandeur! He failed yet his achievements in APGA have cemented the party as popular choice of the gubernatorial seat in Anambra. He failed yet APGA unseated a sitting PDP governor in Imo state in 2011. He failed yet APGA won Abia in 2015 but was rigged out the Osun way (by APC in 2019) by PDP in 2015. He failed yet the people he served has defied every person be it clergy, monarch or the wealthy class to pitch their tent with him. He failed yet even his enemies dare not mention anything negative about him. The fear of Obi is the beginning of wisdom for the PDAPC. |

alfredilly: You guys are hypocrite. Throughout this administration, you Igbo spare no good words for Osinbajo. You called him slaves to Fulani. All other Yoruba in APC administration are painted with undignifying term. Fashola, Gbajabiamila are all enabler of an incompetent administration according to you. Recently before the APC primary, you all castigated and negatively trended Osinbajo for saying he intend to continue where Buhari stop. Now you trying to turn around by pledging your love for these people. No one called him a slave to Fulani, rather people and not just Igbos were disappointed with his silence over certain events. No one ever personally derided his person. The adminstration is clearly and glaringly incompetent, if you could refer to GEJs adminstration as incompetent then this administration is beyond incompetent, it's a monumental disaster. During the APC primary we supported his courage to challenge the norm contrary to your assertion. As for the rest, I won't condescend myself to your level by towing tribal lines. Fact is that BAT is incompetent physically and mentally, not to mention morally decripit! Know this and know peace. |
Politics › Re: Atiku Abubakar To Hold Presidential Campaign In Ondo State Tomorrow by bibe(m): 1:02am On Nov 30, 2022 |
alfredilly: Ondo is for BAT. Obi is an online conspiracy of Igbo youth and any Yoruba who join the Obidient bandwagon is nothing but a vaive fool and a bastard. Everywhere on social media, you will never see a single Igbo supporting Tinubu, save one called Ada Anambra and Chigozirin Ahmed. You can't even tell if lthey are real Igno. That's how to understand conspiracy. They trend Obi because of their hatred for Tinubu who is a modern day unifier of Yorubas Because he is unfit for the job morally, in capacity, in character and in commitment. Bring out Osinbajo, Akinwumi Adesina and other bright Yoruba minds and you'll see them get the support BAT is not getting. Tribalism is only allowed on one condition, that you bring your best minds! Even BAT himself has admitted severally that all he did was get the best people to work for him, we are seeking to employ the best not employing a mediocre to then go about recruiting the best. |

Just look at him making references to South-Korea political settings just like a clueless Peter Obi will always do when trying to dodge and maneuver his way cunningly when been faced with discussions far above his intellectual capacity.
Firstly, the main aim of political debate is to educate, and elucidiate your plans for a greater country and stress more on why people should vote for you.
But in Nigeria here where we have a very silly journalist and supposedly debate organisers or interview host conniving with opposition parties to plan your downfall. Throwing cheap subs in a very obvious manner at a specific candidate.
A very smart man like Asiwaju Tinubu will rather spend his time making political moves, strategising, meeting the main voters and discussing his plans with them RATHER than honouring a mediocre comedy show of a debate which was poorly coordinated, where 80% of the viewers will be the same people sitting at the front of their TV on Election day and on their phones gossiping away about the election rather than going out to vote.
Elections are not won by jumping on every interview or debate to seek public validations but by meeting the real voters directly through town hall meetings and engagements, telling them your plans face-to-face. But he didn't mention anyone, why assume BAT? Lmao... |

Meanwhile, the fool forgot that Tinubu worked with 600mil igr, coupled with Lagos allocation withheld yet Tinubu ensured Lagos thrived and improved Lagos' economy to what it is today. Stop spreading lies. No one withheld Lagos allocation. He (Tinubu) created new LGAs without house of assembly approval thus the funds for those new LGAs were never paid but Lagos still received funds for the already existing ones that were already in existence. Imagine if every other state were to start creating new LGAs and demand more allocation what do you think will happen? Food for thought. |

alizma: I didn't insult you o, please check my post again. I only said you should understand the topic before you comment. He said he will remove import restriction and in your defense you said he will TAX goods that can be produced locally or so, whereas tax is part of import restriction which he had already said he will remove. That was why I said you should check google first. That is not an insult because I do the same too when I am not too sure if I understand the subject of discussion. You clearly misunderstood my response. First bit was me saying he is right to remove import restrictions (in order words ban) on certain produce like rice for example. Now some people like Reno will argue that it'll harm local producers. In the second bit I tried to allay those fears. By slapping tarrifs on them instead, you'll generate more revenue to use in supporting the local producers. Win win. That's the standard policy that applies internationally. The US did it for their car manufacturers in the 70s, China did it and keeps doing it, US under Trump used it yet again to support their local producers in agriculture and certain technologies. |

alizma: Sorry to say this, but always make sure you understand the topic of discussion before you make your contribution. From your response, it's crystal clear that you don't understand what import restriction means. Please go and check google, I believe you will have something different to say after that You asked a question and I answered, no need retorting to insult. Restriction loosely defined means a limiting condition or measure, especially a legal one. Depending on situation can also man temporary ban with a specified limit or non. Example, rice importation restrictions can be a temporal or permanent ban. Border restrictions can mean a ban on imports (or ingress) or exports (or egress), like was applied under the current administration. Having made the definitions clear, do you now understand my submission of do you need further breakdown? Would you like me to do a juxtaposition of Obis policy using previous examples with the current administration policy and how woeful it's been? |

By taxing imports that can be made here higher to level the playing field. More revenue for the government to use in supporting local production capacity and know how. |
