OmoManU:But if he is fired, they will say its nepotism. so thats why he hasnt been fired.... so nigerians think next time before you criticize. |
effort1:State Governors and cbn governor turned nigeria into the poverty capital of the world. |
PrinceOfLagos:Is there any president that Nigerians will not speak ill of? |
ChilamNk:Exactly! They have refused to return them to date. France also actively distabilizes the politics of at least 5 african countries.... if those countries were inferior - why dont france leave them alone. BBC offers news in pidgin, hausa and yoruba - i thought we were inferior lol - please what is the business of British State Media (BBC) which is government owned with nigerian languages. |
Omooba77:IMF is an EU stooge with the sole mission of distabilizinf african countries; FG dont pay any attention to them! |
Lanrelagboi:"Soon". Lol. Nigerian lackadaisical culture sha. |
ChilamNk:So you were told by colonial masters to make u think less of yourself |
Absoluteheart:Men acting like lower animals. I welcome a female future biko. |
CHoccolaTE:its closer to 97% |
jaxxy:This my friend is the issue - no one cares about anyone else - only themselves and they wont come together to solve common problems unless and until it affects them personally.... This is also why it was easy for the colonists to colonize Nigeria. |
AprokoGirl:Shey you supported the end sars protest.... now una don see. |
NewDelhi:Generational curse is upon you and ur family and everyone that likes ur post |
vedaxcool:I agree oh.... it must be urgently confronted.... |
Wittyduchess:That's what I'm saying. Though private owned but the staff of the company are dedicated and care. In Nigeria the staff will tell you "It's not my father's business why should I come and kill myself" and before you know it there's negligence causing life endangering accident and afterwards they say "sorry". |
topboss:No be small playing wiv ur life |
Wittyduchess:Lol Nigerians can't do it. The parachute fit no work because the person supposed to maintain it didn't care.... That's the problem with Nigeria - negligence and non chalance. All these new trains and train stations in Nigeria will soon stop working due to poor maintenance yet afterwards all the blame goes to president lol. |
maoolakanm:Nairaland should become nigeria's twitter; I dont mind at all! |
I've often read that women subconsciously subject men to various types of tests to see the quality of the men. Do men really need more waec tests? |
Femeto:But if he is sacked, they will say it's because he is igbo.... |
plaindealer:What colonist and imperial Britain lied to us that they did, we are now doing for ourselves. |
Seniorwriter:Buhari is very competent... but Nigerians never appreciate their presidents and the culture of the nigerians is incessant bashing of their presidents - quite disgraceful. Buhari is quite competent and if it were possible I would have wanted him to run for 3rd term. |
contigiency:Godwin Emefiele should have been fired a long time ago. Under his watch 1 naira is exchanging for N500. If Buhari fire him, they will cry nepotism. If Buhari leave him to stay they will say "Buhari is a disaster" that $1 - N500. That guy should be fired whether Igbo or no Igbo but I guess Buhari is just holding on given previous complaints of "nepotistic appointments". Nigerians sha. |
I have often read on this forum how when the British were in Nigeria, how they "built railways for us and the railways were working". I would like to make it clear that it is the conqueror that writes the history books not the conquered. So they could write whatever they wanted in there. But the circumstantial evidence is there for all to see. There is train in Onne/ Port Harcourt axis where oil is - same as in Lagos close to the sea port for loading ships back to europe. Which commuter train did they build such as the recently completed lagos - ibadan one with passenger waiting lounges etc? NONE! These British people are really thieves and seasoned liars sha. And for those that said colonization was such a long time ago, no it isnt - it was in force even in 1880 up to 1920 and until 1960. It lasted more than 100 years. For those of us thinking of going to UK, Europe etc, please go its your right! |
Whiteangel1234:Why can't the police stations and officers be on guard. Suggests laziness on the part of the police force |
OnionBandit:Nonsense talk. It will take generations for colonial inferiority complex to fade. Get well soon. |
Whiteangel1234:Eu/uk/France/US sponsored terrorists with the sole objective of destabilising Nigeria. |
Cmeo:The state governors can recruit at least vigilantes. Power is already devolved that's why there's LGA chairperson and councillors.... Let's stop giving excuses. State Governors have failed Nigerians. |
Houston20:Now you are talking!! To a larger extent, it's governors that have failed their people by failing to provide adequate security..... There are so many unemployed youths in most states, why can't govt employ them on 6 months contracts and pay them some money per month? This would curb insecurity immediately. But alas everyone is waiting for Buhari |
Saifullah01:Wow wow and wow. You are very very intelligent! This is absolutely spot on. Hope to hear more of your thoughts on this thread about this very important matter. I also noticed BBC is always promoting European countries e.g. if there's a story on Central African Republic, they will say France is sending "aid" and that France is a "member of the 7 most developed and industrialized nations"... they won't say that France is always trying to effect regime changes in West Africa to governments that will do their bidding thereby destabilizing those countries. They also always portray Africa in a very negative light so Africans start to think less of themselves. |
Sirmuel1:That is because they still have EMPIRE ASPIRATIONS. Those they have killed in the name of British Empire is enough. They should now focus on their country. Arabic, Kirundi etc have their own news media. No one says they should be driven out of Nigeria. The post is about how they wish to remain in control through language domination. |
Saifullah01:Their Africa news stories are always subtly dehumanizing Africans.... and they subtly imply white supremacy with their news stories. I recommend Africans stop reading BBC as they wage psychological warefare on ur mind |
BBC = British Broadcasting Corporation. This is British State media. It's not a private company like CNN. Please what is their business with Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and pidgeon. Who begged them to be giving us news in our languages? This is very very suspect. Colonizers have long known that language is power.... as long as English is spoken in Nigeria, the British will continue to have soft power over Nigeria. Our native languages began to rise and they weren't happy with the resultant loss of CONTROL So they started giving news service in our languages so that the grip/control they have over Nigeria won't fade. These people should leave Nigeria alone and face their own country. |
