The way some people think ehn. smh undecided
China built it and they were to run it for 2-3 years after which they will hand it over to Nigeria to run.

All the debt incurred by this administration are paying for themselves. E.g Abuja train alone makes more than 5million a month. That's how the loaan will be repaid. Compared with past regimes where they just borrow money and pocket. Borrowing this time around is always tied to a project
Until the Chinese stop running Abuja train and it will collapse then Nigeria won't be able to repay.

I just traveled to Kogi state. The partially renovated road from about 8 years ago is already falling apart. I mean, Abuja to Lokoja. The Sukuk signboards are rusting. The Ajaokuta road just before the Itobe bridge allows only 20 km speed. The Niger Bridges at Itobe and Jammata have gaping expansion joints. No sign that the health of the bridges is important to anyone.
TOTALLY UNIMPRESSIVE.
This is what I've been saying.... it's not by building...its by maintaining..... Though building is commendable though

Funny how Nigerians are asking when Nigeria will send a probe to Mars instead of when will we Nigerians send a probe to Mars. I guess we imagine some external Nigeria will send a probe to Mars on the behalf of us Nigerians.

For the right question the answer is, when we Nigerians get our brains out of our asses we Nigerians will send a probe to Mars and beyond. Until then, perhaps we should think of making drones or something much less complicated like get along with one another.
They are still kidnapping and using the proceeds to take girls out lol

Am seeing a lot of people shouting 'When will Nigeria launch her own' and to all of them, I have these points for you

1.When ASUU goes on strike, asking for more money for universites, most of you call them names, or accuse them of plotting against the government of the day, or accuse them (rightly, let's not lie) of embezzling the money meant for research.

At the end of the day, not enough money for universities, not enough money for research, not enough money or materiel for space probes.

2. When we tell you that APC and PDP have no plan for Nigeria to be an induistrial nation, you people laugh at us, and then go on fighting for oil money.

3.The UAE produces 3million barrels of crude a day. They have a population of eleven million people.

Nigeria produces 2.3 million barrels of crude a day, and we have a population of 200 million people.

Let these figures sink in.

Two men earn N5 million each. One has a wife and three children to support. The other has 4 wives, 40 children, 20 dependents, and several concubines, and their children. Tell me, which one would look impoverished.

We are an oil producing nation, and the reason why we are not as rich as the UAE is because our population is too high. That is why we cannot afford things like satellite to Mars, and so on.

If Nigeria's population was less than 5 million, maybe we would be able to afford the vainty project of the UAE ...and send Nigerians to Mars too...

One more thing...the UAE, Saudi Arabia and all them oil producing countries are not developed countries. They are countries that earn a very high income from oil, and have populations that are low enough for them to have a surplus budget every year.....which means their leaders can chop, and still have enough cash left over to spend on the populace. (And the UAE has a large poor underclass, ditto Saudi Arabia.) .And they have enough money left over to spend on education and high quality research.

Nigeria is an oil producing country with a large population. Our population cannot be sustained on the income we earn from oil. Even if all the oil money went to the Niger Delta, it won't even be enough for them. That's why resource control, and eventually industrialization might help us get the revenue and the development to send a manned mission to Neptune if we want in 2056.

What is even painful is that Nigerian leaders and the people don't realize that this oil, and all the other resources was not given to us to sell and chop the money. It was given to us to make ten talents out of one. Yet, we bury our one talent, and misbehave.
Excuses are for those with a low iq

UAE descended from Shem the blesses son of Noah. Africa descended from Ham/Canaan the cursed son of Noah - which explains why they can't launch a rocket into space. Yes it's Canaan that was cursed but the anger was directed at Ham which could have affected Africa

I beg to differ, we have being emasculated creatively by lack of basic infrastructure. With the completion of the Lagos ibadan rail line people will be able to live a better quality life in ibadan and work in Lagos
Watch out for how farm produce from that axis will flood Lagos market while increasing the purchasing power of the rural area inhabitants

With Onne port now receiving imported goods a lot of the otherwise idle youths will become gainfully employed. Lots of forwarding agents will relocate out of Lagos while the prices of goods in both SS,SE and MB will reduce drastically
The roads from Lagos will have longer lifespan due to reduced weight while risk of petroleum tanker explosions will be curtailed due to it's movement by rail.

On the contrary I feel the entrepreneurial potential of our youths will be unleashed dramatically then we will steadily begin to take our place in the comity of nations

The difference between a developing country and a developed one is their quality of infrastructure
If the locusts years of the PDP had bein properly channelled into infrastructural development like we have now, this country would have achieved so much
That rail they are building won't last. Before you know it the ticketing officer will start taking bribes, the train drivers will come late to work, train cars dirty not maintained, tracks not maintained before you know it everything stops working - because the Nigerian people are the problem not the infrastructure.

The foisted failure gave you
1) 2Nd Niger bridge
2)restarted a 40yrs abandoned railway line from itakpe to Ajaokuta
3) Rehabilitated practically your Enugu international airport that 2 of your citizens couldn't do as aviation ministers
4)Gave your biggest market a dedicated 24hrs power supply
5)Almost completed your onitsha Enugu express road your sons and hero's couldn't do in 16yrs of suplous
6)Azikwe the biggest igbo man's moseleum was constructed by this failure o
7) Enugu portharcout Express road is daily nearing completion courtesy of this same failure
coolThe failure has just approved #21bn for a comprehensive medical facility In the South East
9)For the first time 2months ago the failure ensured that Onne port got delivery of ships carrying imported cars and goods in the SS. Importers in that axis no longer need to come to Lagos to transport their goods by trailers

Now call a town hall meeting in your village, raise a prayer point that God in His ultimate mercy won't allow that kind of failure depart from your household

The motive of woman pleasing is responsible for over 80% of male on male murders - the man that beheaded his friend for N13m immediately spent the proceeds on women while the person that killed gokada ceo immediately started spending the proceeds on women.

Are men really this senseless to be constantly killing themselves for women?

Kidnappers same thing - the proceeds are spent on women.

blame it on the greed and selfishness of your political godfathers who have surrounded themselves with thugs to intimidate people. I'm sure somebody like you would be shouting babarere baba kee, to tinubu who claimed he had laid down a model or legacy for lagos...legacy of thuggery and corruption. The only man who refused to share lagos money with Tinubu's cronies but used it for massive infrastructural development in lagos in 3 years was sent packing. The puppets whom they believed would do their bidding has no single project to point to in his100 days in office, during which ambode had completed bridges and roads. All we see him do is shout covid-19 here and there spending donated funds. Shebi they've been sharing the lagos money already and the state of our roads is bad with refuse littering everywhere in lagos with ocean-like floods. Anyway, na part of the lagos legacy or model be that. Lagos mega city indeed.

Blame buhari who stopped alhaji jakande from constructing the lagos lite rail in the 80s when he was military head of state. The infrastructure which would have reduced lagos traffic a great deal.

Blame your people up north who don't believe in tomorrow, those who would always squander everything that comes their way in one day, believing God would provide what they'd spend tomorrow, as if God Himself isn't a God of process and organisation.

Google Rwanda, an African country once torn by war now witnessing massive infrastructural and economic development and about becoming a tourist destination
The infrastructure in Rwanda wasn't built by Rwandans. It was built by Europeans and or Chinese. Just same way China is building rail tracks in Nigeria. If it wasn't given to China it will never get done or done wrongly e.g. the Nigerian workers would lay it right for first 10km and then make a silly mistake that will cost lives between 10-12km.

It's time for an introspection in black Africa!

None of the above. Blame employees in public and private businesses who get paid but refuse to put in their best.

Blame public doctors e.g. at various federal and state hospitals who divert patients to their own private clinics. Many patients are left yo die before being attended to.

Blame the university students who should manage their university but start forming cults.
Blame Nigerians who are more wicked than international average
