Honestly, it is injustice. Pure and simple. A woman accused a man with no proof, just crocodile tears and fake anxiety and they swoop down to save her like white knights. Absolutely disgusting.

If a woman did this to me, I’ll sue everybody and publicise this until they kick me out of the profession. But I’ll make sure she’s popular as a false accuser.
There was proof..... circumstantial proof...

The same judgement will not be passed because it is men that kill women just becos they are not interested and because it is men that rape women to death.

This has weakened Russia more. America is less aggressive because of the implications of escalation which is World war 3. World war 3 will destroy the world economy apart from the millions that will die.

Ok the US preaches democracy etc which is their gospel and new colonization unlike Russia where Putin made himself life president, which system is better a democratic society or an oligarchy society with a life president as its head.

US was very instrumental in countries around the world adopt democracy which seems to be the fairest way to govern a nation
Life presidents are good and common... change of government causes lots of instability which is part of the problem Nigeria is having I.e. change of governmentevery 4 yrs. Queen Elizabeth is permanent president in UK. Merkel ruled Germany for 16 years or so.

honestly Russians arent really in fighting mood ATM. And it would likely remain that way until or unless any external forces challenges russia militarily. Or interfere in their internal affairs. I can imagine that this is why the US haven't DARED trying to overthrow putin. Whenever any country gets on the nerve on the USA, what they do is first is try to overthrow their president, replacing him with a friendly one. They've don it many countries. They've even tried it with Erdogan, the president of Turkey. I was surprised that they've never contemplated trying such nonsense with Putin and this article totally explains wht. According to the CIA, the Kremlin is the most coded place in the world. Putin has even started clearing off some elements that he doesn't trust fully. The moment he notices that the USA are trying anything, he would be sure to leak it to the Russians who wouldn't have any of it. So the hands of the US are tied right now. The more they decide to interfer in Russia's affairs, the more the Russian people would become anti-west which I'm sure they wouldn't want.

This is very funny. Yeltin, the man who was the president of Russia before putin, was a certified western ass licker. The man did as he was told to do by the USA as they constantly humiliated Russia. Note that while this man was ass licking the ass of the USA, he was still criticizing their move to expand NATO towards Russia despite the reason why NATO was crated, the USSR was no more. When putin took over, he was fairly pro west as well. His attempt to join NATO was thwarted. NATO needed an enemy and if russia joined, pretty much NATO would become a useless bloc.
https://foreignpolicy.com/2022/01/19/putin-russia-ukraine-nato-george-robertson/
Which is why Putin asked in Germany, 2007.
"Are we still your enemies that you keep on expanding your alliance towards us?"

It is obvious that after the dissolution of the USSR, Russia legit wanted to form ties with the USA and the west. But USA felt like they won the Cold war hence they can treat their former rivals which was now a shadow of his former self, however they like. They became the proud fućks that they've been known to be.

Meanwhile, If USA can manage to overthrow putin and replace him with a pro western president like they did with Ukraine, believe me they will treat Russia with more respect than they have since the fall of the USSR. But the thing is, it is too late.
Lavrov, 2 days ago said "the illusions of Russia forming ties with the West is all but over now".
Meaning, instead of trying to create ties with the West they will instead with China and others in Asia and South America and even Africa. Russia has been of late increasing their presence in Africa. I don't know if it is just me that notices it
The "even Africa" reveals some poor understanding of the situation. Africa is a primary ally of Russia- for it was Soviet effort that caused the independence of many African countries.

Africa is now very important on the world stage given our key allies Russia and China

And you know the funny thing is that over 90% of the comments castigating the man on NL,are from men. They don't even wanna believe he could be innocent. She just SAID and Boom!!! The world believed her and he was fined. Too bad, he didn't record the interview. It would have been a better way to prove his guilt or innocence.
The odds of he being innocent are slim... its weird for a 22 yo girl to just accuse a man like that. Don't forget both parties will present their evidence...what motive does the girl hv for fabricating the story?? The story is believable....

Many Nigerians do not understand the extent of colonization of the country and believe it was done as a result of british benevolence... this thread over time will show what colonial Nigeria was like and the factors that led to independence - importantly, it will show that independence was not "given" or "granted"; it was forced.

The attached picture is the flag of British Nigeria....

Romance › Re: The Ordeal Of Relationship In 21st Century by BigBashiru:
pansophist:
Two words here, hypergamy and polygamy, the two vices of that have captivate most people, and they don't want to heal themselves from of it. Our selfishness and "whats in for me?", instead of "what can I give?", is what has brough us to this mess.

For women, it's hypergamy on steriods. They may have boyfriend, even a husband, but his validity ends when a better (understand it as richer) dude shows up, she will dump the boyfriend, or cheat if she is married. Her loyalty, commitment is conditional, for better for stay, for worse for astray. It's exactly what Naira Marley meant when he said "she is not your girlfriend, it's just your turn".

For men, its destructive polygamy. For example, traditional polygamy holds such polygamous men to husbandry responsibilities and by law, he has to fulfil legal, parental, and paternal duties to the children/wives. But now, a man may even be married to one, but have unlimited mistress and no responsibility towards them either, basically ejaculate and evacuate, the women are merely a tool.

Although no matter how we mourn about the cesspit romantic marketplace, its as a result of our own doing, and this has been well explained in the doctrines of "the deregulation of the sexual marketplace". Quote me if you want me to write about it, to explain why its a mess. The bad news is that it will only get worse, not better, worse. Its common sense. When you throw away old cultures that works (your parent's relationship is an evidence), then you'll arrive at one that doesn't work.

Relationships by its very definition should be regulated in a societal level, then the individuals participating in it will abide by ordained protocols and traditions that are passed down from past generations who have tested all models and arrived at one that works. Not now where a kid of 13 that is not just naive and naturally inexperienced, is expected to make decisions as lifelong as Relationship, navigating the sea of toxic people all in the name of freedom and liberalism. It has a price, and its called decadence.
This is one of the most wonderful pieces I have read here for a long time.... I also love how peaceful this thread is....

The truth is that polygamy and hypergamy are animal behavior and they cannot be stopped, but they need to be practiced in a disciplined manner and with a conscience.

1. United States was formed around 1776... by taking over aboriginal land thru genocide of them by British Island savages. Nigeria on the other hand - Oyo, Benin had existed for thousands of years. So Nigeria and Africa are more civilized. We can even see the effect today where British Island savages and americans (who in the real sense are western Europeans) tend to be drunks, anti-social and uncivilized.

2. Your idea of civilization is by school but western Europe isn't where civilization originated.

Just give me about 2-3hrs and il expand this response.

But yes I agree that militarily the western Europeans and Americans are more advanced but that's only due to the set back as a result of 400 years of colonialism.

You still didn't answer the question...
What makes a country develope?
Seriously I want to learn..
If you say Saudi is more developed than the UK..
I really want to know..
Saudis that women can't drive cars. That women can't divorce men, women can't hold political offices, women can't go outside without a Male companion..
Women don't go to concerts...
Just educate me.. I really want to learn
Let me use Canada and usa as an example. They are normally hyped but in my opinion they not developed....what makes a country developed is the civilization behind it.... that's my view tho.....the strength of the military as well.... as well as the income per capita after taxes.... this is just my own opinion after taxes and expenses (Nigeria is better than UK and Canada in this measure)....

What is barbaric about this?

Are you not being stupid?

You reject a man, you make him unhappy, yet you want his properties and other things?

Atiku took back his house from his divorced wife not minding that she bore kids for him.

Adenuga took his house from estranged side chick that ssuuuvked his dick for 25 years.

Tinubu rejected Ambode when he stopped being loyal.

Even God rejected man he created and punished him when he stopped being loyal.

Lucifer was chased from heaven when he stopped being loyal.

The shop belongs to the office of the wife.

So Canada and the UK are not the developed countries..
Please what are the basis or criteria for indicting a developed country
Great question! And I'm glad you asked.... For years, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand, France and Germany and western europe had been promoted as the "developed countries".... the question is "what makes a country developed?".... I argued that with someone on nairaland not too long ago and the summary was that 1. it's not by infrastructure 2. The so called developed countries is really just a marketing term aimed at marketing English colonies I.e. Canada USA Australia etc.... these are all what is called settler colonial countries and claiming "developed" is the only way to attract immigrants to fill the colonies....

Short answer: it's a name they gave themselves.

Saudi is more developed than UK and Australia but you will never hear them called developed.
