I met this guy about a year ago through my best female friend, and the journey started. I took him to my parents and he also took me to his parents too, and the wedding preparation started. We were suppose to do family introduction but my parents says there is no need considering some logistic reasons. Although my mum has her reservation conserving him. But since my father has no objection I think am good to go.
He has sent money for some preparation since he is not residing in Lagos. The problem started after I went to idumota with my aunt to buy our engagement clothes. It was my aunt that drove me to the market. When we returned, my fiance called me, we talked for some times, but he couldn't appreciate my aunt for her kind gesture. Although my aunt didn't say anything that day but she wasn't happy. My dad also complained that.he has been rude to him. The same goes with my mum.
The last straw that broke the Carmels back was when he was arguing with my aunt over the phone. He did not know I was in my aunt's house that particular day. I wasn't happy at all, thinking that if he would not regard my parents how would he treat me after marriage, so I confronted him the second day over the phone, telling him that I'm not happy about the way my parents where complaining about him, and that attitude of him is creating fear in me. Instead for him to be a little remoseful and even call those people and apologize, he was arguing with me, still in my aunt's house. So I told him, maybe we should put the preparation on hold thinking he would at least try and apologize to them. He just said, is that what you want and ended the call.
Everyone was surprised. He didn't call back it was his mum that called my mum, she didn't even persuade them to stop me from taking such step, and the guy too didn't call me for like too weeks until when I called him and he said he wasn't interested in the marriage again.
Actually,I wasn't happy and I have been downcasted since then, but on the other hand, May l ask this question does this guy really loves me?. Is he really mature enough for marriage. Is it all my fault? Please don't insult or abuse me. I just want to know if it's all my fault.

My daughter sat for this year Nigeria Airforce secondary school examination and when the first list came out, her name was not there so she was so sad about it but I told her to forget about it.

No, she was the key person that supported my dream and made my being in the journey (medical school) a reality as I was studying a course already before I started combining both school stuff + JAMB prep. Mind you, she was progressing academically as well, even though she was yet to get her dream course 'nursing'. Fast forward 2022, strike was announced and I had to come down to Lagos to stay with an uncle through whom I got a teaching job as I don't ever like being idle and more so, money would be accumulated as well and the strike will not be a waste. Note, the job came with an accommodation. Immediately I noticed how comfortable the job is,I invited her over since the school needed a female staff member. The first day she assumed the job, there's this male staff member she noticed.. And immediately we saw after work that day, she asked who he was,what he teaches..& I cannot forget her telling me the guy has 'pointed noise & all one's kids would have pointed noses if one should give birth for him' (that was when Satan started taking over..) Now, the fear of her taking after her Mum (promiscuity) started rising again, because that has always been my fear and that of my Mum since she knew her (just as a friend to me). With this fear and doubts that are now re-awokened in me, I decided to drop her for a lady I felt we'd be good together (also a staff member)...she cried,begged, called her mum to beg...even told her grandma that I had never met to beg when I broke up. Guys we all know how the situation of this country is, I have finally decided to buy my first online course at udemy, not fully for the purpose of their course rather their reputation and certificate will help me as an upcoming Web developer and Graphics Designer. And at the same time I'm going to start learning Laptop repairs at ikeja. Since my boss agreed to leave me by 5 pm, I thought (still a thought) I will be able to merge both together. The course is 65 hours, that's 2days and some hours, of course I can't finish it... I will be learning it Gradually.

Please what do you guys think, I really need to upgrade this year. As for feeding, I still leave with my parents and they sponsor my feeding, moreover I gave my mum 10k for this laptop learning and 10k for feeding, she should know how she will managed it for 3months of learning it.

While learning, i'll advice u still hold on to something to give you constant income for some couple of months cos even after learning, jobs won't just come flying in just like that.

If you can get the udemy course via backdoor, please do and save the money for something else.

Learn as many things as possible cos one source of income can be risky in Nigeria of today bayi.

Did you say you're a pianist? How good are you? If you're fairly good, then team up with some producers so you could do assistant producer or standby pianist for their sessions so you could make some money as well.
