Christianity Etc › Re: Letter To Daddy Freeze — From A 16-Year-Old Boy by bigtt76(f): 11:21am On Dec 09, 2018
When issues of tithes crops up, people are quick to point out the verses in the Bible and claim it must be obeyed... but what of the other laws in the Bible? Do you obey them? If yes 'where is Ceasar that you are giving to as directed by Jesus Christ?' - Give unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's cheesy cheesy cheesy lemme comman be going joooooor!
Christianity Etc › Re: Tithe: Akpororo Blasts Daddy Freeze Again. Has This Question For Him by bigtt76(f): 3:30am On Dec 09, 2018
Do you live in those edifice the church build? No

Do you drive on the church's paved roads daily? No

Does the church's AC cool you down at home? No

Does the church's generators power your homes? No

Do you hold to account the church whenever you're broke and have not yet been reimbursed by God for the thites you pay to Him through the church? No

Government forcefully take their tax from your earnings threatening you with jail term, poor living conditions etc

Church coerced you into paying thites from your remaining earning threatening you with poverty and abandonment by God

So how's the church any different from the government? undecided

KunmiRoxitaLTD:
THE CHURCH IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM!
By Hadizat Ibrahim

From my salary, I pay about 15% as tax to the government monthly.
When I make certain purchases, stay over in hotels, make flight bookings, shop for groceries, I still pay taxes - consumption tax, VAT, state tax...

Most Nigerians I know pay tax.

And we don’t even have a say on most of these taxes - they are either deducted from source or they are simply not optional.
Yet, I can’t say my life has improved significantly in comparison to my tax deductions and that of million others.
Light - we still don’t get 24 hour power supply.
Highways - the roads are a nightmare.
Security - still not guaranteed.
Public Healthcare - mostly inefficient.
Public Education - mostly poor.

But I pay tithe...voluntarily.
A minimum of 10% of my income.
I pay offering...voluntarily.
Nobody forced me to pay these.
I give to Kingdom projects.
My church decides to build an edifice that I am proud of...fully complete with AC, waste disposal system, public toilets and other things my government can’t even seem to get right (even at airports - our gateway to the nation!)

My church builds a worship center where I am free from distractions and I can communicate freely with God.

I don’t pay for anointing services that expand my territory; for communion services that perfect my healing and activate my consciousness for eternal life; for worship programmes that take me to the ThroneRoom of the Master; or for prayer sessions that unlock the mysteries of life and the Kingdom.

No, I don’t pay for illumination or direction in any area of my life...Jesus is the LIGHT...as taught in my Church from the Bible.
I am not confused about direction or purpose...Jesus is the WAY!
My health is intact and when I have a scare and I need someone to pray with/for me...my Pastor gladly steps up and takes authority...charging nothing...because God wishes above all things that I be in health.
I have enjoyed covenant security at no cost.

Week in, week out, God (through the Church and my Pastors) blesses me...yet my government fails me at every turn!

Dear Activist,

What exactly have you done to hold government accountable for the taxes they receive but can’t fix the basics of standard living?

Yet, you are convinced that you have a moral right to complain about church edifices that members gladly contributed to erect?

Focus, my friend.
The Church is not your problem!

Christianity Etc › Re: Tithe: Akpororo Blasts Daddy Freeze Again. Has This Question For Him by bigtt76(f): 3:17am On Dec 09, 2018
But he's correct you know? Jesus Christ was not a Christian rather his followers were called Christians which meant 'Christ-like' because they continued in his ways.

Jesus Christ changed the way the people worshiped God (his Heavenly father) in the synagogues. Thites was introduced to help gather resources to feed the poor among the newly converted who because of their belief were ostracized and could not feed well and for other exigencies.

In our world now, thites are mis-managed and used solely for the pastors worldly needs undecided

Edonojie007:
You are just a certified illiterate; You say Jesus was not a christian, what is christianity?
Is it not being Christ-like.
you should have made your point, without this trash.

Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by bigtt76(f): 2:45am On Dec 09, 2018
Depends on the model you want to buy. Some model do not currently have the global version or original global rom installed directly from the factory,, so some rogue seers on Aliexpress try to cash in on the demand and naivety of the buyer by installing fake global rom which when you try to update bricks the device.

Fret not, Chinese rom works well anywhere and is cheaper, only issue is with it not having Google Play Store factory installed, but again this can be fixed.

shyshally:
OK. Thanks. What about the rom, getting the global version to Nigeria?

Then your phone's port need cleaning or checking to make sure the contacts are well soldered to the board. From the screenshot you posted earlier, the charging looks broken and intermittent except of course you're the one disrupting it's charging every now and then undecided

Evening guys. I have been facing battery issues for the past 2 days. Since the day before yesterday, charging my Note 4 takes up to 2 hours to get to 30%. Right now, I switched the phone off to charge and when I picked it up, it's just charged to 11 % after 2 hours. What should I do?

Shameless and weak. A domesticated and dociled man. To try to cover your partner's gafe is not a bad thing but to reinforce error is unthinkable.
Men like these should never be allowed near daughters because they are a living proof and example of 'weak daddies'.

Are you saying that the Netflix and Chill slogan is offensive? Haba undecided

Maxcoded:
Yo Chief, well done

But Wait until your son tells you; Dad, you really need to learn to chill and then walks away, then you will know the gravity of that word

You may be right with the fact that "Learn to chill" might not be an offensive word, depending on who you are saying it to. I can tell that to my guy, o boi you need to learn to chill o; that's normal because I know the person quite alright; we close. But this is online, I don't know you, you don't know me; that mutual respect should be there, get that, yeah?

Take care bro; am done with this

I really don't want to reply you, but....

You need to learn to chill at first <=== This was the statement she made

god damn it, who the hell is she to be telling me to learn to chill.... Even my parents, the last time they told me that was prolly during my secondary school days.

If my parent stopped using that tone to talk to me a very long time ago, who the hell is she to be telling me that? Huh?

Even the person I asked the question calmly answered me in a matured way...

I really don't get angry, but please let this issue just slide; I take God beg you. I really hate throwing words online.
