Your bank statement from where the funds for the money market investment was drawn on and probably a letter from your bank stating you're debt free.

Desore:
Thank You.

How can i prove that?

Funny how people think shaaa. You're trying to help people be successful with their visa application and someone is arguing and contesting what is the fact.

If you don't agree, go on with your application without enough bank balances and see if you will succeed naaa.... E nor pass that grin

justwise:
No i don't know anybody who got a visa without enough money to pay for the trip and if you feels that i'm making too much of it then learn how to use the scroll bar and zip pass my post on this.

If you applied for visa and withdraw the money meant for the trip after submitting then that is misrepresentation/fraudulent because the bank statement you presented is not as its.

The ECO or the bank doesn't know about your pressing need that made you withdraw the money. People 'build' an account just to show that they have the money for the visa application and return the money to the owner after submitting the application.
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by bigtt76(f): 8:54pm On Dec 12, 2018
@embolden very true. The ECO wants to see that you're gainfully employed, are able to establish strong ties to your homeland and can afford the trip. All of these you've been able to establish without doubt. Congratulations

ab4m:
I feel I have cause a lot of arguments regarding account issue and thought it's better to share the outcome of my application.
Just collect my passport back now and Visa issue.
Below are my submission.

All my CAC document
TCC with nil payment for three years assessment
Three different share certificate
One building plan and two landed property
Wife and daughter birth certificate
Personal Bank account with 1.7m balance though account run well, 11m transaction in 6 months
Plan to spend 700k for the trip
Virgin passport

A friend of mine who is an agent help with the application and suggest I leave minimum of 1m balance in the account till decision made.

My experience, what matter most is the turnover on your account.
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by bigtt76(f): 8:49pm On Dec 12, 2018
Sure. So far you can prove the funds will be available for your trip and is not tied down to.some.other purpose (eg as collateral for a loan etc).

Desore:
Hello All,

Is Money Market investment relevant to the VISA Application outcome? Note: All subscriptions are from Salary Account.
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by bigtt76(f): 8:48pm On Dec 12, 2018
That's the problem. You alone can decide that because it's based on how much you've truly earned in a year of work or business and for which you can account for each credit to your bank account (business or personal). A besides that, the ECO wants to know you can truly afford the trip.

If I say 2 million naira now, can you account for it in bank statement bearing in mind the ECO would forward same for verification by the bank?

Take note also that whatever you state in there (true or false) , sets you up for further scrutiny.

To start with what do you trade in or what's your business like?

Tintas:
Thanks @Bigtt76 please what’s the right amount to input in that column then? I’d appreciate some guidance
quote author=bigtt76 post=73767267]You need to prove to the ECO beyond doubt that you have enough funds to cover cost of your trip and still have enough to lure you back home. In other words, since you're self employed, you need to show that your business capital is separate from your business funds.

If you declare your profit as your annual income, you need to show that you're not using 100% of your profit for the trip. This is why paying yourself a salary would have sufficed as it would show clearly that you made room for your business to scale higher by retaining part of your profit for business expansion.

Also wise to keep separate bank accounts for business and personal.

I'm afraid but Shogunle is right. Those places and conditions he placed exceptions on could lead to a stakeholder lodging a complaint to the police if they feel offended by the scene.

On the other hand, if the couples are having s3x in an area where no one cares, even though it's a public place, who would report to the police to make it an offense? grin

A man in Niger State, Yakubu Chanji, has tied the knot with a teenager, said to be 15-years-old. Neighbours of the age-gap couple told DAILY NIGERIAN that Mr Chanji is in his early 70s

A correspondent gathered that the wedding Fatiha took place on Monday in Lapai, Niger State, with family and friends in attendance.

Mr Chanji, also known as Nafsi-Nafsi in Minna city, earned the sobriquet “Chanji” for his frequent divorces and replacement of wives.

“He is a philanthropist in Kwangila area of Minna. He has contributed immensely to the community, especially the building of the State, with family and friends in attendance.

“He is a philanthropist in Kwangila area of Minna. He has contributed immensely to the community, especially the building of the community mosque.

“We call him Chanji because he regularly ‘changes’ wives. In my knowledge, he married at least 12 times, but other people say it could be up to 20 times.

“What we know is that he always keeps four wives in his house. Once he divorces one, or one of them dies, he immediately picks a replacement,” said a source who preferred not to be named.

There has been a viral news circulating about couples that were caught having s*ex in a car. The couples were shamed and humiliated by other resident that caught them in the act.

The pictures of the couple have been circulating all over the internet via the various social media platforms.

The humiliation they got sparked up a lot of reactions from various people. Some said since they are couples and it’s not an act of rape, it’s no crime. Some say it is wrong for them to get involved in such intimacy in a car.

A Twitter user who must have been concerned about the whole matter took it up and asked the police ACP, Abayomi Shogunle, a very important question – he asked if it’s a crime to have sex in a car. He got a reply.

In his words;

Oga @YomiShogunle please is it a crime to have sex in your car?

He got this reply;

NO.

Sex in a car in a public place is not a crime in Nigeria provided;

1. Location is not a place of worship
2. Parties are 18 yrs+
3. The act is consensual (agreed to by parties)
4. Parties are of opposite sex

If threatened with an arrest over above, pls contact @PoliceNG_PCRRU

Whatever you deem fit to pay your self out of your profit is fine and can be used for your upkeep, but don't touch what you've retained for the running of your business. Its not cast in stone though ....you own your business if you like dip hands into your business capital, that's your business cheesy

oluayebenz:
So a one man business needs to pay himself salary not to chopped off capital plus profit? And the salary his paying himself is untouchable. Ok

Are u a sole proprietorship?
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by bigtt76(f): 5:41am On Dec 10, 2018
I agree with you and while it may sound dumb, it goes on to show you (sole proprietor) is accountably responsible. Many sole proprietorship businesses have gone down because the owner 'cbopped' the business capital + profit.

Pahingg yourself a salary ensures you're prudent and helps separate business operation funds from personal funds. It comes in handy when applying for visa as it leaves a stead trail of inflows which is a good proof of the applicant having a steady job and income to return back to.

Transferring money from your business account to personal account in varying amounts does not prove that you have a stead flow of income or you have a business to return to.

As an employee it's always advisable you 'pay yourself' first before spending your salary to help you save a substantial part of it monthly.

oluayebenz:
But why people keep advising a sole proprietorship to pay himself/herself salary for visa application?

Is that right?

One man business doesn't need to pay himself anything or WTF.

You can transfer any amount you pleases into your savings account .

As a one man business paying yourself salary has nothing to do on ones application

That's just d fact

Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by bigtt76(f): 10:57pm On Dec 09, 2018
Even worse because your personal bank statement would show all business related inflows and outflows which would in turn convince the visa officer that the balance you presented may not be available for your use to travel. Your business bank statement wouldn't suffice now because you just registered it.

Menab:
. The statement is personal account and not a business account. can I write a cover letter and explain all of this or its of no use?
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by bigtt76(f): 10:53pm On Dec 09, 2018
You're welcome.

What the visa officer wants to see is that you have a good business running and a strong ties to your home country. Yes you have a business and married but you've not shown that you would leave the UK after the conference.

That 600k you budgeted is like 1500 pounds or less. Flight ticket is bound to consume more than half of that. Don't k ow the cost of your hotel though, feeding and transportation, what would be left may not be enough to go shopping bearing in mind summer sales are over... Christmas sales around the corner though.

Next time, make sure you pay yourself a salary from your business (separate business and personal bank account). Ensure you got stead inflows into the business account and outflows for business related expenses and of course your salary, present both statement showing a good business account balance and a good personal bank account balance.

Menab:
thanks bitty for the reply. I have been running the business for long without registering it and to be eligible to attend the conference the business must be registered so I registered it to meet the requirements for attending the conference. anyways thanks for the prompt reply
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by bigtt76(f): 10:35pm On Dec 09, 2018
Doesn't look good to me. First you recently registered your company and want to go for a conference under the same company.... Red flag!

Your bank account balance doesn't look buoyant enough. You can't spend half of your savings/business capital on a 4 days conference. Visa officer would be curious to know why you would want to do that.

Besides what bank statement are you presenting? Personal or business? You would need to show that you're not dipping into your business funds for conference travels. Do you pay yourself a salary? You need to show strongly that the funds are available to you for the travel without affecting your business.

Why not be patient and bud up your savings and business for the next one year before embarking on this trip? undecided

You need to submit your marriage certificate. Is your husband working and earning a good salary? Would have been a good idea if he sponsors your trip assuming he's got a good bank statement. You don't need to send his and your son's data page.

Your chances getting the visa is very low but let hope not die. All the best.

Menab:
hello nairalanders. please kindly help me attend to this urgently because my appointment is 9am tomorrow. I applied online about 10 days ago and schedule my appointment for tomorrow 9am. I am self employed and formally registered my business and TIN last month because without it, I can't attend the conference. I got married legally last year though I have been with the father of my child for six years+ now the issue is, my son's birth certificate got lost along side other documents sometime ago and just collected another about three months ago. if I submit that birth certificate won't there be a problem? or do I submit a cover letter to explain that. also my passport covers my surname because I had it before I married legally. will that also be a problem. do I also submit hubby's Data page and that of my son eventhough I am not traveling with them. my account closing balance is 1.3m. and I am spending 600k because other than the conference, I will shop for my son as indicated on the form. the 600 includes both flight, hotel and shopping. please help a sister and if need be, what other documents do I need? I haven't traveled before except to Ghana once last year.

Most times however, the OTA updates would fail citing unsupported rom in the error message.

There's also an entry on the About Phone page that is different for non original global rom... Maybe oga Gptech can help here undecided
