Christianity Etc › Re: "Insult The Prophet TB Joshua & Evoke Curses Upon Yourself" - Fan by bigtt76(f): 2:15pm On Nov 09, 2016
To the Prophet grin

dainformant:
While prophet T.B Joshua is being trolled online after his prediction on the winner of the US presidential election backfired, his followers are still solidly behind -saying that one failed prophecy can't change their faith in him.

According a post made on to T.B Joshua ministries Facebook page on Sunday, the pastor said:

“Ten days ago, I saw the new President of America with a narrow win. “The new President will be facing several challenges over many issues, including: passing bills, attempts to possibly pass a vote of no confidence on the new President. “The boat of the new President will be rocked. “By the way, in order not to keep you in suspense, what I frankly saw is a woman.”

Despite a widely predicted Hillary Clinton win, the results have been announced and Donald Trump has been elected the next U.S President.

See what his followers are saying on the church's Facebook page;

Hahaha nice one! Go publish on LIS and earn some cool dough.

bestspoke:
So they say, "the fastest way to get a man to marry you, is to cook his best meal and serve it with a chilled bottle of coke" -okay, nobody said that, i just totally made that up.

But, if it was true; then Nneka would never get married.
Nneka, was my church crush - church, in the sense that we attended the same church and she was in the choir - so yeah, church crush! But you see, she wasn't like any other choir girl you know. Forget those "head-tie wearing, Ankle skirt" girls you're probably imagining.
Nneka had class, and ass too - not sure which was more, but both were in abundance. Her figure eight (cool shape wasn't helping matters, not to talk of her clear American accent - Mehn! Angels had to be made this way.

So yeah, we eventually started dating after I broke forcefully out of the deep shackles of friend zone I was submerged in - middle finger village witches during the course of our dating, she kept complaining about the money I spent eating out and buying junk food. I never really had a problem with this cos' I barely had time to cook for myself, with my 9 - 8 job and all. - Yeah, 9am to 8pm! My boss was directly related to the devil himself.

Anyways, she offered to cook and insisted on spending the weekend. She was going to "spoil me silly" with different kinds of dishes I had never tasted. I knew right then, that I had found the one. No more cornflakes and indomie for one week - goodbye carbohydrates; Hello protein!!I fell deeper in love.

Saturday finally arrived, and I was treated to a huge plate of Egusi soup - Everybody's favourite.I'm not much of a Bible story kinda guy, but after first taste, I knew instantly that soup must have been inspired by the story of Lot and the Pillar of Salt. My Egusi soup was filled with the missing parts of the Pillar of Salt. I'm not joking, I might have as well, ordered a salt solution instead - heck! it felt like it.

But I let it slide, maybe she was just nervous cooking for me for the first time - Love, really is blind.By evening, we had Beans - or should I even call it that? Beans used to be my favourite food, until Nneka catwalked into my life. Now all I see when I think of Beans is horror and battlefields.
You think I'm lying? Okay, picture David and Goliath. Yep, remember those stones David picked before the fight? - yep! those ones. They were present in my dinner plate.

Actually, I think I had more stones than Beans for dinner - but then again Love prevailed, I let it slide. It was when I saw her washing raw rice into hot palm oil the next morning, she told me she wanted to prepare fried rice, I knew that I was finished."Blood of Donald Trump!! ", I shouted! But deep down, I was certain the end was finally here. At that moment, I knew my village witches had won the battle - they were probably twerking to a Gospel beat sef at that time. It's been two weeks since that weekend and I've not had the mind to return her calls or texts.

Please, how do you arrange your lips to tell somebody you're not doing again?Brother zone has never felt more perfect to me. I willingly zone myself.I give up abeg, I'm not doing again joor!

The greatest honour Nigeria would have bestowed on the dead soldiers would have been for the commander-in-chief or Vice President attempting d the ceremonies to receive the bodies and console the respective families.

Those that say there are many graduates but quite a number of them ain't employable, don't think they are far from the truth. But sometimes the truth of the matter is these are the kind of people who end up having notable testimonies of getting jobs they ain't qualified for(Favor, destinyhelpers) or the employer overlooks the inefficiency, qualifications.

So Bro,to cut the long story short, this is a hint of how you state your storyline,it doesn't have to follow this pattern thou
State your name,course,grade(2-1 or 2-2),previous/number of experience, professional certification, the kind of jobs you want, can do...

Politics › Re: What's The Difference Between Gaining Independence And Becoming A Republic? by bigtt76(f): 6:58pm On Nov 06, 2016
Prior to gaining independence, Nigeria was ruled by a Governor-General nominated by the Queen. S/he is answerable to the queen and is usually from the UK.

Gaining Independence meant that the queen ruled Nigeria through a Nigerian appointed Governor-General.

Becoming a republic meant holding of elections by the Independent country and electing her own rulers. This meant, the Queen no longer holds sovereign over Nigeria. Each successful election year begins a new republic. I hope this helps.

Sad that she got herself advised by unprofessional people and others without an inkling of what it takes to manage those businesses she's set up. I wish her the best though.

soundcraft:
I was there for the interview also and I concluded that Linda Ikeji is not ready for serious and standard TV Broadcasting because she handed the recruitment exercise to panel of mediocres

1. The interview was delayed for more than 4 hours without any reason which is highly unprofessional and unacceptable in production house rules.
2. When I entered the interview room and saw the panel members (2 guys), I shook my head and asked question in my mind "what's the profile of my interviewers in broadcast engineering.
3. Lo and Behold! in 3mins of conversation, it was cleared that those guys have no idea of my job title.
4. I tried to lecture them of difference between Job title A and Job title B, with their respective job description but I realized they were not moving at my pace at all.

In conclusion, my advice for Linda Ikeji is to look out for professionals to help her in the area of out-sourcing.
