Hmmmm. In your opinion, what would you say the 70% she spent amounted to? And for what? Can you also possibly share what the relationship looked like before youkay? Does she have a family back home she's catering for? For the sake of your kids though, stay calm and do all you can to get a better paying job. Share what your interests are and let's see if we can help you in that direction. As for your marital issues, best advise would be seek counselling either in church or anywhere else even if it means paying but stay calm. Godaloneisable: Yes, I want to join but she said i shouldn't worry. I asked the amount but i never got response when my insistence was much she said circa 15million which is not true cos its not care work that you'd paid for COS and the coy paid our tickets. |

I get it now. The expenses I suggest in cutting down would mainly for items that are not necessarily a need for you, her or your kids. Try exploring ways to get cheaper options if necessary. I assume you are in IT right? You should look at upskilling to boost your chances of moving higher and gain a better job. Godaloneisable: Tbh, she said she got some loan. Getting job too no easy. Im searching really hard for higher pay but ain't coming. I can't really cut cos we've got kids. |

An example of when a guy is doing his woman good, na de woman go take your matter on top her head for your betterment. Keep it up dear. In this issue, you are doing great but I would suggest you allow him to find his passion at his own time while you continue to encourage him to do so quickly. Let him not relax and be thinking of visiting his favourite football club or wear the latest Nike trainers for the gram without doing something he loves. Adunnishugar: Hello house sorry to derail from current discussion(s) Please I need advice and it’s a long read I was in a serious relationship before deciding to move to the UK on study route, we decided to get married and come together. Now I am done with studies and currently on tier 2 visa (support work). I studied MSc Human Resources management btw. The issue now is… my partner has an OND in marine engineering and minimal experience, age is also not on his side. And he is currently working in care. I don’t want us to be stuck on this care work for too long. And I have been overthinking lately on what else is there to do, especially for him. As I still have my masters to fall back on. I keep asking him what he would like to do personally but it keeps changing. It’s almost like he doubts his own ability to take up some new career opportunities. We have tried cyber security but I don’t think he has any motivation for it. And I don’t want us to keep wasting time and money on it.
Please which other career options would you advise on based on this brief background information. I just want him to have something very stable going for him, especially since he is the dependant and has the flexibility to do almost any job or business.. we don’t mind the cost of training or the cost to startup a business, as long as it is a realistic long term investment.
He seems almost depressed with the care job and sometimes it’s as if I’m being blamed for bringing up the travelling/relocation idea, which I did because even back home things were stagnant and I did not see any future plans for improvement. |

🤣🤣🤣 If you know you know boss! Trust us that's always the foundational cause of issues like this. Women want to be loved and if you go beyond and above, you will get all the love in the world. For the wife to have spent 70% in the relocation means he must have been doing something right before now. If only he can change that then all will be fine. Yea so you need to find out if she's repaid the loan back and any project she may be involved in so you can both put heads together. Also let her know that it is important for her to be paying some bills so she's visible financially in the UK ...credit history etc which is important if you guys plan on staying long term. Keep trying for a higher paying job ...at least you now have your legs in the system, with your current experience, you will definitely get something better. That first question shaaa ...you nor answer, but that's where issues like this start from.Godaloneisable: Tbh, she said she got some loan. Getting job too no easy. Una still de f@ck abi una stop? 1. Have you asked her how she came about the 70% she spent to send you guys here? 2. When you said she wants to rest and not doing anything at home do you mean she's working but refuses to foot any bill at home? I think you just have to bear, cut down some expenses so you don't need to borrow and keep at it till you get a better paying job. Godaloneisable: Elders and dependants especially male I need your advice please.
I'm a dependant who is also working in uk. I appreciate my wife cos she spent over 70% of the funds we used while coming to uk and also took care of home for 2 months before i got a job. I was lucky to get a good job in Manchester 2 months after I got to uk which is a midlevel role in my career path as a systems engineer. My wife has refused to do anything at home cos she claims she wants to rest and I should be grateful that she brought me here. This is leading to serious arguments cos after paying rent, bills and food I'm left with almost nothing infact I had to borrow in the last 2 months because I bought some home appliances in our newly rented apartment. Right now, I'm so confused because it's more like I am just working to spend and her money belongs to her strictly and she means it. I am careful cos I'm bound to her visa and I am even begging her to take just bills but she refused. This has been on for over 7 months and i can not boast of 2k savings even with 49k salary.
How do I manage this? Just confused tbh cos she's also working full time even grossing more than i |

20 hrs restriction for students. Most employers or recruiters would not give you the chance to discuss further once they hear that restriction in place. Zahra29: The SNP have always been pro immigration, pro asylum seekers, pro gay/trans rights.... basically pro most things that the Tories are against.
With regards to the bolded, many Nigerians successfully obtain Tier 2 visas from Nigeria or elsewhere outside the UK. Being in the UK should be a huge advantage to job seeking dependents, so I'm not sure what limitations or restrictions you mean. |

You are trying to sound smart but you are not. Pre-approved CC go through the same requirements as AMEX. If you are pre-approved on other CC, most definitely you will be approved on AMEX. The only issue most people get declined is if they try to play smart by quoting income more than they are getting or usual errors of not being visible or have any credit history but you are making it look as if we are deceiving them into clicking the referral links to get them deliberately declined while we get rewarded ...nonsense. I got referred from here and only makes sense I give back and help others. BouharryArtikou: Surprises me the sort of comprehension some people have. Someone used a referral link, and applied for AmEX credit card. And was rejected. That someone is advised to go for pre-approved cards to be near certain of eligibility before applying, rather than blindly clicking on referral links and getting rejected. If that is not a good advise, then I don’t know what is.
But well comprehension is hard. |

Don't mind that one. Referral links work exactly as you've described it. The pre-approved mentioned still depends on having good score which is not different from the AMEX. You get approved based on your situation CowbellY: Curious about this, What interest does a referral link proffer ?. you get a referral point bonus only if the person gets approved. and they also get points as well.
Also, if they apply themselves, they get fewer points viz applying with a referral, so how does it not benefit both parties ?. |

Looks like you selected the wrong option. Select the I have a UK Visas and Immigration account option (screenshot) and retry The BRP/Permit option you may have selected, is for Tier 4 visa holders Adedoks: Hi good people.
I wanted to run this by the house. We recently switched from our TIER 4 visa to PSW as a family. My spouse and I got our new BRP.
I wanted to generate the share code for the right to work, after imputing the new number of my new BRP in the UK. gov site it said it doesn't match. Same for my wife.
But I then tried the old BRP number on my former TIER 4 dependent BRP. It worked and generated the share code. Showing my current visa status. Same for my wife.
Is this normal?
For every new BRP, there is always a new number, right? Because the number on the expired BRP is different from the one on the new BRP. But it's the number on the expired BRP that is giving me the share code.
Should I contact UKVI

The longer you stay and older your accounts, the better for your credit history and score. Keep paying your utilities, taxes using DD though I'm not too certain if Monzo reports it to credit report companies. I would suggest you review your report to figure out what you are doing right or wrong. misterkelly: I have a DD on my monzo account for 4 "items" for two months now.
