This is crazy - I mean if he is managing a research project, he should be covered enough to afford to pay his rent I only hope he's not using sob stories to his advantage ...its bad Ralphlauren: Maybe he owed rent or the landlord wanted to sell up or breakdown of relationship between him and the agent/landlord.
I'm just surprised he was evicted with the current ban on evictions in Scotland.
There must be more to the story.
Anyways, over 14k raised for him, so his format is clearly working
He's extremely lucky that social services were not called to take his kids away from him. Leaving those kids including a baby in sub zero temperates, at the back of a van, in a stairway . . . He's extremely, extremely lucky! |

Nor bi you post on Twintter wey dem bash recently with the same package? Anyway ...why not pay the nanny all what you calculated and let her sort out the accommodation, bills and utilities If she's working only 8hrs a day why need her to stay with you? geekseventplace: The total package is surely above minimum wage and i will explain. As a full time nanny (7-days a week), maxiumum you can work is 8hrs/day and with minumum wage of 10£/hr gives you 2400£/month before tax and 1900£ after taxes. Accomodation & all utilities averagely 900£, feeding,Wifi Internet/mobile and other household expenses is averagely 600£. Hence if i pay extra 400£, i am matching the minimum wage already. Mind you, i didnt include cost of transportation, etc that would be saved when working a full time nanny. |

Why was he chucked off his accommodation? Peerielass: Ok good luck with this.
In other news, I’ve just seen on BBC Scotland news a Nigerian guy called Henry Okwo who was chucked out of his house in Glasgow last week. He ended up in the stairwell with his 3 young children and wife for 12 hours and this was during last week’s freezing temperatures. He is a student at Strathclyde university and is in the process of claiming asylum for ‘torture’ which I find a bit odd. He is a PhD holder and lead researcher for some project. They’ve now been put up in a hotel by a charity in Glasgow pending being re-homed by the Council. The guy is in the news to raise awareness about systemic maltreatment of asylum seekers. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Have You Noticed All The Women Accusing Suleiman Are Into Acting/showbiz? by bigtt76(f): 10:41pm On Jan 23, 2023 |
He's deceptive that's why they are all exposing him. How you go knack today then tomorrow go church go de insult the people you knack 🤷🏿♀️ Goldmynemaniac: Have you noticed that all the women alleging things against Suleiman are into acting/showbiz?
From the first accuser, Stephanie Otobo, to the latest,Halima Abubakar, they're all into the acting and showbiz industry.
I'm not defending anyone but just find the probability of this coincidence being innocent highly unlikely.
Back in the days of Archbishop Benson Idahosa, an actress was paid to hide in his hotel wardrobe, in a city he was visiting, to take compromising pictures of him while asleep. All without his knowledge but it was foiled when she started burning up in the wardrobe she was hiding in.
If I wanted to sell a lie, an actist would be the perfect pick to play the role convincely.
Why are these women not also coming out about politicians and business people they've affairs with if there's no satanic agenda to this to 'accuse the brethren'? Or do they mean they've never slept with anyone else?
If yes they ever slept with another man, why is Suleiman's own worth revealing and not the others? Could it be cause he's a man of God, and as such, his reputation is of great consequence? Most likely also because there is inducement.
I'm not saying Apostle is innocent though. Only God knows this.

Review your past and present situation... What has changed? 1. Did you miss a direct debit payment? 2. Did you move homes? 3. Did you over utilise your credit limit? 25% or more? Something must have changed to cause this. Pogracious: Hello Ancestors in the house, pls help me understand.I registered with clearscore last month to check my score and all was well until last week when I got an email that my score had dropped by 140 points without any hard search to get any credit card or loans.
Pls help me understand what dropped the score as 140 is not a small score ooo

Open a Revolut account instead use this https://revolut.com/referral/temitaim40!JAN1-23-AR ...they are fast to approve you and you get your debit card within 5 days. Starling has too long a wait time. With your Revolut, you can get inflows into the account and get you started while you work on opening a conventional bank account. for the conventional account I would suggest a Llyods' Bank Classic Account - less stress especially for new entrants into the UK. When you settle down small, apply for your AMEX Credit Card with this https://americanexpress.com/en-gb/referral/tEMItOhbvx?XL=MNANS ...don't be scared of credits though cos you will need to build your credit score while you are here ...e get why JaySterling: Fam, do I need utility bill to open a starling bank account ?
Also, must I have lived in the UK for up to 6 months ?

Career › Re: Please Lawyers In The House, Can I Sue My Employer? by bigtt76(f): 3:18pm On Jan 19, 2023 |
This thing nor clear 1. You've been paid for December 2022 right? 2. January 2023 has not ended 3. You were terminated yesterday 16th January 2023 4. HR promised you will be paid for this month 5. Contract says you are to give a month's notice or a month salary in lieu of notice 6 What did the contract say about employer terminating you? For number 6 most contract would say employer can terminate you without notice but you need to confirm that on your contract. Its not always what the contract expect you as the employee that applies to them as employer. Yes you can sue if you find out that they've breached the contract ...but won't it be too expensive for your to sue than what you will get as salary? You may sue for damages but the case may also drag for who knows when. You don't also want to burn bridges, your new company may require reference from the old who knows ....think before acting though. All the best siraj1402: I was working with a company since late 2015 and my appointment was terminated yesterday.
What was contained in the contract letter was that I either give a month notice or return a month salary in case I want to leave and vis Versa.
The HR called me that I will be paid for this month which I think I am already entitled to, having work for half of the month already.
I feel the company has already breached the contract agreement else I am to be paid at least have of the month I have already worked for.
Please the lawyers in the house should advice me before taken any step.
Thanks |

Entrepreneur visa appears to be close to what you should look at but you would need to have an investment of £50k on grand Another option is the Global tech talent visa and company relocation visa (or something close to that) businessnow: Dear House Bosses and Elders:
Please give me your thoughts and suggestions on this.
In Nigeria, I own an ICT company that has been in operation for 15 years.
In 2010, my company formed a partnership with a UK-based ICT firm, and we served as their Nigerian representative until early 2022, when the contract was terminated (the UK company moved into oil and gas).
We completed transactions totaling more than 600,000 GBP over the course of our 12-year partnership; all transactions, including international bank transfers, are documented.
This UK company arranged my first UK trip in 2013 for business meetings and training, and I have visited the UK more than 12 times since then for business meetings, training, and vacations.
Prior to moving to the UK with my family last year on a Tier 4 student visa, my wife the ( student), I was on my second two-year visit visa.
My company formed a new partnership with another UK-based ICT firm late last year.
Here's my question: is there any other type of visa I can or am qualified for besides the PSW (through wife Tier 4) and Tier 2 visas?
Please amiable senior nairalander, I need your input on this.
