Please I sincerely need your help/assistance/advice to help me secure US VISA
My wife younger brother that’s a doing a Masters Programme in one of the Universities in USA will be rounding up his programme by May, 2023 and the school gave him 3 slots opportunity to invite his family members and he gave me a slot of invitation to the USA. From the mentioned date, I have limited time to get all things available.
NOTE: 1. I have valid Passport 2. Though I have been refused USA VISA far back 2012 3. I have Business name with account with GTB Bank. I have steady flows of cash on it, but not in million 4. I have 2 kids
Please what steps should I take now and how do I get the required documents without me spending much?
Who told her to migrate when she doesn't have the required skills to land a good job in the UK or she thinks the title CEO would land you the same job? So appalling the way we denigrate jobs
Ndlistic: CEO Back Home Now Cleaning Nyash In UK - Curvy And Beautiful Nigerian Lady Breaks Down In Tears.
A beautiful and curvy Nigerian Lady cries out over the hardships and difficulties she is experiencing since she moved abroad.
The beautiful lady said she was a CEO in Nigeria but was made to start a new job over there in UK.
She wrote “ CEO in Naija and now cleaning Nyash in the UK”.
Not sure the embolden is what happened - a BRP can't expire before end-of-course date rather it is possible the VO made an innocent mistake extending the validity. Becos I have seen some students with extended validity dates on their BRP beyond what their course mates who applied same time got. Now those students are unable to work full time after submitting their dissertation while those who got correct dates have been able to. But I also think it is correct bearing in mind that Feb - May is 4 months left on MA's validity + the extra 4 months usually given, makes the dependent's validty extend to September giving him a total of 8 months.
Ayowolebami: Wouldn't advise anyone to take this risk cause dependent has to apply at least 6 months before MA's visa expires and visa vignette expires within 3 months after issue if I'm correct. Let's not forget also that adult dependent can't be out of the UK for more than 180days in a year so if you add all these info, it's unrealistic for dependent to come in a week before MA's visa expires.
I don't wanna believe the person that got dependent visa of 6 months that extended beyond MA's validity. My guess is that he mistook end of session for end of visa (BRP expiration) cause dependent visa solely depends on MA's visa validity and period.
No one is doubting you though. I've personally seen some students whose BRP validity extends by a month or two beyond what was issued to their course mates of the same session. Mistakes such as this may innocently happen but doesn't mean it is the norm.
Those students affected as mentioned above, though got extra months compared to their mates, are now in a fix cos after submitting their dissertation, are unable to work full time cos their BRP still sees them as students in school term.
Hkana: Like I mentioned in my original post. My wife's BRP was valid till May while mine was till September, issue date was February.
I only made the input to help with the confusion the supposed "6 months" on MA's visa was causing.
Saw someone say I probably mistook course end date for visa expiry date... lol. You're not obliged to believe what I've written just as I'm not obliged to share pictorial evidence. I won't make further comments on this topic.
I stopped following her content when I discovered she was bleaching... Like 😳😱

Ok like I suggested, contact your school's visa support for better clarification. If I stumble on the advise from my school, I will share
eniola1010: What they mean is that the student must be on a course that is more than 6month, cus there are some degrees that aren't up to 6months, they did not say the dependent must apply 6months before the MA's studentship expires.
It is a condition for your dependent to apply for a dependent visa under the study route. If your dependent is not eligible for that visa first then no way s/he can apply to be joined on the PSW. I will share with you that when I get but I think it was also a part of the application pack sent by my school.
Update This section below speaks to the above - Dependent won't get a visa approved if main applicant is on a study visa that is less than 6 months. If you are in doubt, contact your school's Visa support team for clarification, they are the best to advise you on same.
eniola1010: Can you kindly show the part where they said dependant should have come 6month prior to the end of MA's education. I cant find it even on the picture and link you posted
1. Partner and children must have applied for the dependent visa at least 6 months into the MA visa duration (NOTE your dependent might not be successful applying for a dependent visa when the MA has less than 6 months left on their visa and I think this is in alignment with the minimum lenght of visa UKVI issues for studies in the UK)
2. Partner and children must have JOINED MA in the UK before the PSW application is filed (this is also in alignment of the MA being in the country during the application process)
I hope this helps
CheesyTee: You're right. I was unable to find the page that had the information on gov.uk
There is no longer a specific time they can apply to join.
Yes you can. It shouldn't take you long for the the PSW to be issued.
walex25: Hello house, I am in a bit of pickle here. My passport will expire on 23 of Sept however by April I will be applying for the postgraduate visa (PSW). Meaning, at the point of my PSW application my passport will expire in five months.
Now my question is, can I apply PSW with 5 months left on my passport?
For your credit score to grow, you must have access to credit facilities either in form of utility bills paid or credits from credit card companies or credit score boosting apps.
Question a. Is your rent paid by bank transfer directly to the landlord's account? If yes, try setting up a standing order to execute same time every month b. How is your council tax or utility bills paid? Do you have Direct Debit set up on your account to debit it every month? Direct debits are reported to credit bureaus c. Look for Contract-SIM from any of the mobile networks (I use Virgin mobile) and port your current line to them, use direct debit to pay for this monthly. To call home you can use cheap call cards available in Tescos or ASDA etc d. How long have you been on the electoral roll?
I've spent 4 months in the country and my TransUnion credit score is still in the mid-500's.
My records are in the electoral register, have got 3 bank accounts that I run transactions through frequently.
My wife landed long before me and I recently got added to the tenancy agreement. I've tried to apply for the AmEx credit card advertised by @Solumtoya and my request got declined (I'm sure because of my low credit score). I'm using a pay-as-you go mobile line (not contract).
What else can I do to boost my credit score? Or at least how can I secure a credit card?
An aside, I tried to sign-up for Rebtel to be able to call home cheaply, but couldn't because they said they don't support EE lines. Please do you know any other network that I could sign on a contract with my low score?
Appreciate all your assistance and contributions on this thread. 🙌
Depends on where you are based, number of dependents, lifestyle and others. £45k gross is like £3k monthly after tax. You can save at least £1K... My thoughts 😀
SimpleGuy001: general enquiry, how much do you think someone can save from earning 45k pounds gross in the uk after taxes and all expenses. Just an estimate
I think what she's saying here is linked to those companies that hire and sponsor workers from outside the UK for jobs which may not be on the shortage occupation list or something compared to those who sponsor workers from Tier 4
brine: This is incorrect. You pay £536 to get a sponsorship license(small companies) and you can sponsor up to 10 people with it. Bigger companies pay higher but it's still not up to £1500 pounds for the license.
Is this one getting sense at all? President of the country APC said he directed CBN governor to redesign Naira, this one de con yarn rubbish? Is he saying that the president is PDP?

farous: Please kindly advise for I have been trying to manage this challenge. Honestly I have fallen into the category of men that have a higher sex.ual feelings with women with very massive backside(yash) than the tiny or slim one and my partner did not fall into such category of my choice. This has made me no longer have sex.ual feelings for her anymore and I don't want her to know the reason behind this.
I quickly got aroused on sighting ladies whose backside is atleast times three to four of her own as I feeling like touching and bouncing on extra large size booty alone puts me in the mood. Infact nothing that my partner do again that put me in the mood and she is worried about my non sex.ual feelings from me to her anymore but I don't want to tell her the reason. Atimes I think whether I should jokingly tell her about booty enlargement but i prefer it natural than artificial
Even when moving together with her and I sight this group of women,I will almost lose control but will conceal it from her.
One may ask whether I never see her like that before going to her, please don't ask so for that's a long story, all I needed is advice/opinion to go about this challenge.
Awwww ...thanks dearie. Your Avios reward is tied to your spending which will be accumulated over the period.
jblesn: I used your referral link to apply and got my CC last week but my avios balance is 0. Does it take some time for the Avios balance to be reflected?
I would say click NO but it all depends on your personal situation. If you just got to the UK and you still have validity on your visa which allows you to work, then this goes but if you're approaching the end-life of your visa, its best to indicate you will need sponsorship.
Most companies would consider you for sponsorship only after seeing your performance or in dire need of your expertise. In any case if you answer yes or no, they'd still ask about your visa type and right to work in the UK which will tell them if you actually need a visa to work or not.
So don't lie when you need one, just state it from the start if you do need one at that point in time. Your offer could get withdrawn if it went the other way round.
AntiMCU: Og's in the building, please how do you answer the below question?
Will you now or in the future require company sponsorship to be eligible to work for the company?
Some of us have started our job search and wouldn't mind working in the company as we search for sponsored opportunities to gain experience.
In addition to that, I think/know this is a filtering mechanism.
I already clicked "No", anything otherwise, na rejection mail go just follow.
Will appreciate your replies and insights in case of next time.
Yes you can but acceptance rate is low so its usually advisable to wait a little longer especially after registering to vote in the UK and are listed in the electoral roll. I got mine within weeks though. Because I did all that I needed to do as described above.
Don't forget to use my referral though, you might be lucky 😊
