All banks offer the I&E window but you could end up being blacklisted by CBN if found that you misapplied funds meant for Investors & Exports to pay your fees. The bank would deny you, your choice though

A 16-Year-Old Boy identified as Uzairu Salisu, has had his eyes plucked out by his employer in the Dutsen Jira area of Yelwa area in Bauchi state on Thursday, June 23.

From what I read and heard on the news, when the doctor rejected him due to the age declaration, the family now started maltreating the boy who also saw that he was going to be set back home high and dry, decided to escape from their home to the police. The senator and wife were arrested on their way to Turkey.

The boy isn't the one that reported it to police it was doctor whom they boy told he is 15 yrs and doctor was like how can a minor consented to this agreement and doctor reported the matter to police

Nice one - so they will sell to you at a higher rate what was meant for Investors & Exports then replace with what CBN allocated for your fees originally and sell that again at the I&E rate. Nigerian banks are deliberately causing the delays it seem

All I did was call customer service after my form got to disbursement stage.

First, I wrote them stating my deadline and the urgency of processing my payment.
They gave me a call back and introduced the I&E option asking if I was interested.
Seeing that the rate is almost same with CBN rate, I asked that they go ahead.
Then I continued following them up with calls.
That's all I did

Ofcourse they will do MRI bone tests etc to arrive at the boy's true age.

Its the boy's words against the senator's. I noticed that the passport was issued in Abuja a month before the visa application meaning he might have been housed in Abuja for a while and before this trip whereas his BVN details placed his location at Ikotun, Lagos.

Questions are bound to be asked who connected them to him. Perhaps he's an accomplice BUT what if the real intent was not made known to him? What if he was recruited as a domestic staff for oga and he was hoodwinked into doing the tests and landed UK. In the UK nau instead of work he may have been promised, he ended up in hospital to donate kidney.

My question again would be how the boy knew the police station to report to ....well may be he sort directions when he escaped.

I doubt the boy is some random street kid.. he coukd be a distant relative...chances that some random street boy they picked up will have the same rhesus factor as the senators daughter is very slim....so if hes a distant relative or from same village, it coukd even make the senator more believable that the the boy and his family just wanted to help

But from the guy's BVN details posted on this thread, it shows the guy lied about his age to the UK authourities. His date on the BVN record matched that on the passport and showed he is 21 years.

Donating organ for financial or material benefit is a crime and that's what the senator can be charged with except he's able to establish family relationship with the guy and beside that, the issue of maltreatment may also arise based on the purported allegations the guy made.

Saving his daughter isnt a crime through willful kidney donarion in exchange for some compensation isnt a crime..

The boy came through immigrations, his picture and several cameras have picked him up... force or coercion is off the table...its like tgey brough him through the sea or lybia...

I feel its not going to be hard for a federal senator to prove that the boy lied hes 21 for financial gain..

You can use a 60 day POF but officially it’s 28 days minimum. If your POF has been available since April,
- Print it and use b4 d 31 days elapse
- don’t print but keep running d account till your other docs or CAS is/are ready and then print

I ve used 35, 43, 58 days statements b4. Using those longer days put your mind at rest but if raba no too dey, try 28 days in peace but make sure you use the print out b4 31 days after printing.
The point is, print your statement as many times as possible unless of course you run am and those folks tell you that you ll pay to print

But on grounds of the intentions behind it, they might still be reprimanded

Once a lawyer can prove the boy Isnt 15 (because this yahooboy im seeing may not be 15) or lied hes 21 for the finacial gain and later used the system that is sympathetic to minors to escape .....they may just throw the case out

Passport does not mean anything. More important is his BVN registration. As you can see he registered 3 and a half years ago. It is very unlikely that Ekweremadu even knew him 3 years ago or had been grooming him for 3 years for kidney donation.

I want to ask - what if an applicant has the POF in place since April 2022, does this affect the 28 days and 31 days application rule? Or there's a need to continue funding the account but stop prior to attaining 28 days and apply just before the end of the 31st day?

Once you are sure of your 28 days statement, you can start your visa application and even book biometrics ahead since there are no earlier dates again.

NB you might have to choose assisted service instead of self service since your POF wouldn’t be ready when filling the application

If e tok say tutor no want you, e nor want bi that move on ...there are other juicy courses out there you can try out.

Not supporting him but the process of sourcing a kidney donor is not a one-off thing. The donors are usually subjected to various tests to ensure the recipient's body don't reject it.

Questions are

1. For how long has he been holding this boy without the knowledge of his parents (if any)
2. The boy is underage and did Ike Ekweremadu falsely standing in a the guardian?
