The Billionaire Philanthropist and Antarctica explorer, Prince Ned Nwoko recently disclosed that plans are underway to give out full scholarships to 150 students at the newly approved First Sports University in Nigeria and sub Sahara known as Sports university Idumuje-ugboko.

He disclosed this when his personal staff in Abuja had waited at the Private Jet wing to welcome him back to Abuja and celebrate his landslide victory at the just concluded Delta North senatorial primary election of People’s Democratic Party in Delta State where he polled 246 votes to defeat his challenger Paul osaji who had 67 votes.

Hon Ned who’s also the Chairman of Prince Ned Nwoko foundation whose obligations focused on Education, Health, Sports Development, Culture and Tourism and Environment stressed that for students to qualify for the scholarship you must be good in one aspect of sports and there would be trials where qualify students would be selected for full scholarships at Sports University idumuje ugboko in Delta State.

Speaking about the University, Philantropist said it’s focus will be 80% Sports Development and 20% conventional academy study because it would be a university to train and develop our lad from young age of 15 and above so that they can compete at the Olympic games.

Among the various courses that would be offered are Sports Communication (Sports Journalism), Sports Phycology, Sports Technology and Science, Sports Administration, Sports criminology etc.

The former lawmaker also revealed for the first time that there would be an exchange programs for top notch students with leading European universities whose representatives were at Sports University idumuje during the week to see what’s been done.

Also these European universities would equally send their students to Sports University to gain knowledge.

He said “There would be an exchange programs with top rated Europeans universities, their representatives were with us (at the sports university Idumuje-ugboko) yesterday and we are doing this to groom the students so that they can compete anywhere in the world”

Prince Ned Nwoko who was accompanied by his Delectable Nollywood Actress wife, Regina Daniels Nwoko and Children thanked all his staff in Abuja for the show of love and encourage them that all hands must be on deck to secure victory at the 2023 general election.

The main highlights of the night was when Tsuut’ina Nation used the occasion to present what it considered as one of its highest honour by the presentation of an 'Eagle feather" to the revered Nigeria monarch which symbolizes strength and courage while the Mayor of Calgary ably represented by Chancellor Jennifer wyness city of Calgary also presented 'White Hat' to the Olu of Warri.

Another talking point of the night was when the visiting monarch reccipocate the gesture when he presented the souvenir of red canoe, a means of transportation for royalty in the riverine Warri Kingdom to the Tsuut ina Nation and head of chiefs Chief Roy Whitney

I must say this year has been better and much brighter compared to the previous year. But one thing i have been worried about is my saving culture or is it that what i earn isn't high/sufficient enough to cater for bills like transportation, feeding, housing, electricity and other miscellaneous bills.

My salary is a little above 50k and before you know it, by the 3rd week of the month, everything would have finished. I cant say i am spending lavishly on anything because i an introvet. I hardly get to save anything at the end of the month and it pains me alot. I wonder if i am the only one facing this experience or there are other people earning lower or higher facing this.

Could it be that my saving culture is poor? How do you solve this challenge or how are you coping with it.

Pardon me for any typographical errors. My uncle has been married to this lady for almost 16 years. They have two kids. According to his narration, the first five years of marriage was wonderful.

But things took a sudden twist later on. The wife has changed in both attitude and manners. The man is a civil servant and earns 70k monthly and his wife is a teacher. She earns 35k monthly.

The twist is, the wife has stopped supporting the man financially. In fact, anything she buys for the family or for the children, she asks for the money, even as little as spice cubes. My uncle had to report the matter to my father, his brother, after several years of enduring her strange attitude. My father called her to table the matter. She admitted the accusations. In her defence, she said it is the responsibility of the man (husband) to provide for the family. what broke my uncle's heart was the day the rent of their house was due, he hadnt pieced together the rent and was going about to seek loans from friends and family. He asked her if she knew who to loan from and she said she didn't know who to loan from. To his dismay, he got wind from a friend that his wife was looking for a piece of land to buy with God knows how and where she got the money from. She even told him she doesn't have a dime to add to whatever he's able to raise. He does everything in the house from A to Z.

He needs advice on what to do. Should he file for divorce and hope things would get Rosy enough to start afresh with someone else? Or should he call for a meeting with her family and our family to try to mediate and make her see reasons why she should be supportive?
