Black people will forever be slaves. grin

PoliticsRe: The Blackman Is Still A Slave! by birdman(m): 7:35pm On Jun 23, 2013
Rossikk: I believe that the BEST WAY to show one's Africanness or one's zeal to reconnect with our African personality, or promote an African renaissance is to exemplify it in one's own personal life.

You cannot have a christian or muslim on this thread attacking ''black people'' when by their very own acts of renouncing African philosophies, and adopting foreign myths, they have sold themselves down the river long before anyone else.
well said

Sunny_bobo: .
Ngozi is a lowlife. what part of that dont you understand? You should be ashamed she is Igbo, not parading her about.

Sunny_bobo: Payless, let me give you the last assignment before I go pick up my Yoruba babe, Bukky.

Go to Google search bar, type in 'Yorubas are' . Google's suggestions will surprise you.
So we know you prefer Yoruba babes, at least in your dreams... I wonder why? It explains all the self hate though wink

Am I the only one who thinks this is tacky? This did not portray Omotola or toolz on a good (talkless of sexy) light

Sunny_bobo: Now, let's compare our women;

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala

Dora Akunyili

Oby Ezekwesili

Stella Okoli (Emzor pharm.)

Arunma Oteh

Stella Oduah

Can I have a corresponding list from your side ShyM-x, Payless, Eko ole or dayokanu?
You put a boot licking thief that just sold out her own country at the top of the list? sigh...
PoliticsRe: Amosun's First-class Schools In Ogun State by birdman(m): 11:50pm On Jun 22, 2013
dayokanu: Politically - Olusegun Obasanjo

Academics - Wole Soyinka

Entertainment - Fela Anikulapo

Business - Otunba Mike Adenuga

Who can beat these icons
I cant speak for the others, but entertainement wise, Fela is it. Dude has been dead for at least a decade and I still run into people asking I knew him. They may not know a d*mn thing about Nigeria, but they know Fela. I wonder what he would have become had he lived in a twitter/youtube world.

Law - Christopher Sapara Williams. First indigenous Nigerian lawyer, called to the English bar on 17 November 1879
man pass man....

Sunny_bobo: I'd take this to mean you throwing in the towel. No hard feeling bro. If not for the madness of January 15th 1966 and the subsequent civil war, the Igbos would have been dominating every facet of human endeavour in Nigeria which would have honestly been bad though.
Anytime I hear a statement like this, I wonder if people who say things like this do not comprehend what they are saying? This is either the seed of genocide, or low self esteem. Or both. Disturbingly enough, even Achebe subscribed to this bs
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:07pm On Jun 21, 2013
Fhemmmy: That is totally not true at all, Kobe will go down as one of the best NBA player in history, Kobe could take over a game and single handedly punish a whole team.
My point exactly. Kobe is a different weapon... he can drop 50 (60 sef) on you with ease, but he needs to be the focal point of the offense. Lebron is still primarily deadly as a defender who can guard all 5 positions with point guard skills. Which his why his 30+points doesnt look as nasty as Kobe's 30 pts. Comparing both of them will never work.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:00pm On Jun 21, 2013
Man, Pops is a class act. I dont think I've ever seen anyone able to share the joy of another team while absorbing a devastating loss. Btw, if you hate Lebron just because, you will feel like s*** for a few. Dats alright though, there is always next year grin

This win was sweet cool

A-40:
Congrats to the Heat! It wasn't always pretty but they stepped up when it mattered most!
Lebron has now entered the discussion not quite Kobe yet but he's in the game grin grin
I dont think you will ever be able to compare Kobe and Lebron. They are just 2 different players. Lebron scored 37, sinking jumpshot after jumpshot, blocking shots , steals etc...and it still looked like a quiet 37, just because he plays within the flow of the team. Kobe is not as effective but feels way more disruptive.
CelebritiesRe: Dekunle Fuji Is Now A Nurse In America by birdman(m): 6:50am On Jun 19, 2013
gulfer: Disadvantage of being popular; if an unknown quantity is out there washing plates and cleaning corpses, no one would have noticed. Anyway, he is brave enough to take up such a job without blinking; I tell you some will never take the job or even retrain in anything and would rather remain dregs of the street, all in the name of fame. To certify and qualify as a nurse in the US is not a piece of meat or moin-moin o. Ride on Dekunle and make this your calling as the music is not for you. wink
you never jam the right pomo

Foreign AffairsRe: South Africans Killing Somalis by birdman(m): 5:46am On Jun 19, 2013
thoth: South Africa is a very complex country. The new black leaders after liberation went corrupt and started going against the interest of their own people in a sort of unique neocolonial manner. What this resulted to was a few extremely wealthy black folks and a mass of utterly CONFUSED,FRUSTRATED AND UNMOTIVATED Black folks.
I don't really know what is wrong with the black man. Even during the slavery period it was blacks on black attacks that were really brutal and mean.
We may have physical independence, but we have never lost the mental chains. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with the black man, except the fact that we are literally out of our minds. This is why we keep perpetuating self-defeating habits. Look up Amos Wilson sometime when you get to chance. He has a few youtube videos that explain this in psychological detail. I might put one of the more relevant ones up on a thread when I get the chance.

CFCfan: Why won't he? I mean, San Antonio literally let the trophy slip from their hands. In fact, NBA officials had already brought the trophy to the court, thinking that the Spurs would wrap up the game.
Really? I didnt see that. Huge let down

Vanneni: Lol at they will find you grin. So when they find the offenders they get paid and what happenes to the offenders? Do they get purnished, what kind?
just the embarrassment of being singled out in a party is enough punishment. Imagine after all the dress and make up, everyone now knows your "capabilities". I'd probably leave real quick.
ProgrammingRe: Isnt There Any Ruby Programmer In The House?! by birdman(m): 4:08am On Jun 18, 2013
ekt_bear: I program in Ruby. But I'm also uninterested in solving your homework problems for you, or doing work for you that you can easily google.
Professionally, or on the side? What would be the motivating factor to use Ruby over say, Python.

Vanneni: So the job of a professional fart smeller is to go about smelling people's fart huh shockedshockedshocked Hmm, interesting!
Actually they specialize in tracking and can find the offending source in a crowd. Countless parties have being ruined by serial farters who know they can get away with it. These pros put a stop to all that. THEY WILL FIND YOU

Melancholy: Hmm...imagine professional fart smeller job in nigeria.

For those that lived in the North in the 80s, the Sunnis were considered peaceful, and the Shia were the extremist sects, bent on causing havoc in the North. You knew them when you saw them, with their very austere mode of dressing and anti-social behavior. Fast forward 30 years, and its the other way round. Im not going to get into an argument with LagosShia on his beliefs. The only thing that is relevant to me as an African is that neither of these groups is a friend, and we need to stop identifying with them. If we spent half the energy used in following other people's religions on getting to know our ethnic and tribal neigbors, we will be much better off.
FamilyRe: Homosexuality And Its Adverse Effects On The Family by birdman(m): 1:37pm On Jun 15, 2013
ddeola: Homosexuality is a sign of mental imbalance
You are 100% right. It was categorized as a psychological issue until recent political correctness came in. I have no problem with an adult managing his life however he wants, but lets not forget children are more impressionable and can be easily confused. We need to stop copying everything we see in other people's cultures. Just because its healthy for them doesnt mean its healthy for us.
