The God of the Christians/Jews is not the same as that of the Muslims.
Reason is that if they have the same God then certainly there won't be 2 different Holy Books and Prophet Mohammed's name certainly would have find his name in the Holy Bible just as they have the names of the Holy Bible Prophets in the Qur'an.


Another view..........

Isaac and Ishmael are sons of Abraham.
Abraham to Isaac to the point of Jesus Christ one can actually trace the geneology/family tree with ease.



I may be wrong.......

But is that the case from Abraham to Ishmael to Prophet Mohammed( knowing he is the only Prophet to be given the message)?
Is there any historical proof that Prophet Mohammed is a direct descendant of Ishmael(blood line)?



Another is why would the same God raise up 2 different religions; to what purpose?

Remember Abraham had another wife after the death of Sarah and she also gave him children. Certainly God's promises on Abraham covers his blood line first and by extension every other person that believes in it. Why is there not another religion from the child/ren of Keturah to buttress their point?


Those who are historians/theologians compare the spread of Judiasm/Christianity before the time of the Roman empire and do same likewise for Islam during the time of Mohammed?

Now think of the different versions Janosky posted, surely they were all in English but from different translators. That's exactly the same thing Scribes does back then, they copy the scriptures and since the original Hebrew language Moses spoke with the Israelites in his own time wasn't understood anymore by some of the Israelites after returning from Babylon, the Scribes need to translate from Hebrew and Aramaic to Greek. Don't forget that if you and i were given the same write-up to translate form either Hausa, Ibo or Yorùbá to English we must apply our own understanding to the best of our knowledge in delivering the job.

That's why you can't find the scriptures exactly the same way because each Scribe (copyist) will have to apply his own understanding. The same thing applies today!

That's why you need to compare different versions of the Bible to ascertain what the big book has for you!

I try as much as possible not to assume certain things. The Bereans studied the Scripture that's what is written. There's no history that tells anyone that there were several versions of the Scripture as at the time of the Bereans.

What was the language of the Bereans and in what language was the Scripture written as at the time the Bereans were doing their Scriptural research?

Greek was the dominant language so the NT was written in Greek. To make the Scripture in written copies giving access to those of that era certain persons were appointed to transcribe the Original.

Every other copy made from the transcribed falls into the version referred to as a translated copy which gives us the different versions you speak of.

John 14:6 is a clear proof Jesus Christ is NOT the only true God, John 20:17.

Probably it's our usage of english at times and our individual interpretations leading us to understand. I can liken your bolded statement as an interpretation from you in order to explain to me. It's the same way those who stand by the Trinity interpretation in trying to make an explanation known.





Maybe I'm mistaken but I do not think Jesus Christ called Himself God or equated Himself to His Father.

The instances where Jesus says "I AM" is an attribute of being in ONE-NESS with the Father.


We will all only err in our interpretation/understanding but the Scripture can't be changed.


1Cor.8.6 - yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.

Phil.2.5 - Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

That is not to say that the Trinity interpretation is not correct. It only depends on the context of which it is been explained.

I did a job for a Nairalander Ty01 which I supplied last week. It's window burglaries. The measurements I was given was 4ft by 4ft and I went ahead to deduct 1" from it yet when he received it,it didn't fit at all. The engineer said "I should have known better". At the end of the day, the welder gets blamed because we're the least educated. From the pictures he sent me, I was supposed to deduct at least 4" from the windows but just imagine if I did that and the burglaries were too small. I will still be blamed for cheating the client. Now they will need to amend the burglaries to fit. However, there's no room for amendment in the job I was discussing with your friend.

In my line of work, there's no established rules to follow. Everyone works "as the spirit leads". So it's important that everyone works in unison to avoid errors.

✓Secondly,the inches of the blinding depends on the levels of the land.(I can't say more than that).
✓The top land is loamy soil while beneath it is Clay soil.more important, I never see a crack house ever since I've been working here so I conclude the land is good.

It's not a funny question because it looks like there's no blinding and that's why I asked.
Moreso some people will do screeding and still call it blinding.
Be it you use columns or not the house will not fall as long as your block wall locks are in order.


Inches of blinding don't depend on land level because it's expecting you have a single profile and run it. If a proper excavation is done then it will be in order. In instances where there are uneven excavation level there are other ways to go about achieving the work.

Michlins was right to say it's an error in communication.

I guess the word "modification" is misinterpreted.

All he needed was the measurement of the window fabricator and he will align his own welded burglary to conform to the size making it more precise. I guess this was done based on the type of burglary to be welded and fixed.


Professionally not looking at design plans this is way better. Otherwise every artisan works his measurements and come and fix and tell the client na the measurement of the window I use as agreed. Then when the time for dressing window come the maosn man finds who to blame when the client complains of improper size not aligned.

This had nothing to do with the foregoing though but it's possible to reduce window sizes while construction is still ongoing.

I once did a project and myself and the client couldnt reach conclusion on some changes made along the line in the project. For example, a room was converted into a kitchen. My windows were 1.6m high, so I told him we have to reduce some windows to reflect the new modifications. You cant use 1.6m window in the kitchen. We couldnt agree on toilet window height and sizes so I left the whole space wide.

Unfortunately, the project went on a very long break. The client went ahead to commission one of old paddy to do the window burglary and he did exactly the measurements he got on the project without contacting me. When I supplied the aluminum windows which were made on site, they were done to engineers specification.
This caused a big rift between the aluminum window guy and the welder who claimed the aluminum guy wanted to defraud the client and I asked him "Can a toilet window be this big?"

In like manner, I once did a project for a client here who wanted 'large windows.' When we got the bill for the windows, N11,000,000:00 for windows alone as at 2015, he requested that we reduce and even block off some of the windows.

I can only imagine the biggyness of the window.

I am in this dilemma presently.
Had a plot 50ft X 100ft. Was contemplating a block of flats on it. Then a boundary issue developed around where the land is, and adjustments had to be made to satisfy all plot owners and resolve an issue that warranted some breaking of heads and arms

Finally, my plot got reduced to 42ft X 100ft.
Now I'm not sure what to do with it anymore.

You're certainly not in a dilemma.
Just say what you wanted to build on the plot and you'll be advised appropriately.

I don't think we should embark on a naming and shaming ping pong. Two wrongs don't make a right. It is now very clear what happened. There is enough information about the incident online from start to finish. So any prospective client researching both parties for patronage or otherwise would have all the information to make a constructive decision. I don't think the contractor's reputation will be tarnished in any meaningful way by this singular incident. The incident was well trashed with depth by so well-meaning forum members and a manifest judgement has been reached - No fraud was evidenced, so let's move on.

Not everyone reads an article from top to bottom. Once someone reads to the point of fraud and fraudulent...............he stops reading. He may try to find out more and if he sees another fraud statement about the person, then the prospective client finds an alternative.
