Kobojunkie:Hmmmm Do you know how many erroneous preaching out there been taught in churches since the era of the establishment of the othordox, roman catholic and protestant churches.... Would you also say such preachers don't have the Spirit of God in them? |
seyi360:He may have his reasons........... Now certain christian believers claim to understand what is being preached till when you ask question and you'll be surprised. In where I worship what we do is to ask what each and everyone understands or derived from the preaching. This is done mostly on the week day programs. There's a big difference between having a head knowledge and actually understanding it. |
megacontrol:In my location what we have is plain plated and you still need to weld it for it to last. |
n3xt:Okay. Because I've actually not seen that kind of pan used for it in my place. What i see is smooth pan being sold in the market. Do you have original Hummer head pans over there too |
n3xt:This your barrow wheels looks customized... Or do they sell this in your market |
beauty7:So you actually believed that story........ I hope you do a follow up if those whom he alledged for defamation will be fined by the court......... Is it Hisbash court or the high court |
Ujahson85:It's never a good thing to generalize. Now this is from Obosi in Anambra State......I love this list as it even takes into consideration those who are born again. You should note that this may not be so for some other parts in Anambra State. Now you said Benue State where you come from is espensive are you saying it's the entire State or just some communities. You can do well to post a list given from your family/compound to a prospective in-law so we compare. I have attended one traditional in Gboko in 2010 and i can say it's fair enough compared to elsewhere. |
Alejobs:A bit of honesty and many seeds of insincerity from Gov. Wike. He is always looking for reasons to talk bad if the APC anytime he commissions a project. But can he actually point to what the PDP via the FG have actually done for Rivers State especially during the era of GEJ? APC may not be doing that which they promised but for the APC government to try to bring to completion projects of the PDP conceptualized and paid for then kudos to them. Even with the same PDP party from the FG to states you'll hardly see such continuity in government projects. |
sliksusan:Are you done with this.......... I'd love so see the pix of the house or design plan and 3D to be able to comment....... Nevertheless the only way i can agree to spending that amount on such build is if the foundation of the house was raft type....otherwise |
n3xt:Thanks. Looking forward to a successful project. |
n3xt:Nice 3D... Can you by any chance drop the floor plan...hope your client won't deny us this privilege.....thanks. |
Youngstown:Every engineer, architect , draughtsman started from some where and we have such buildings in existence. There's always room for improvement. Give him the needed support and encouragement to grow appropriately if that is what he desires. |
kopell:I think it can be done with some modification. But what comes to my thoughts now is you can do the parapet and a precast work at the edges like what is done for window hoods. |
kopell:A parapet is a barrier that is an extension of the wall at the edge of a roof, terrace, balcony, walkway or other structure. ... In the Bible the Hebrews are obligated to build a parapet on the roof of their houses to prevent people falling. Simply said, parapet is an external wall extension on the roof edge with a coping(concrete, aluminum, etc) Truth is that we all have seen it in old generation Nigerian bank buildings and some other builds.
|
spyder880:Nice building. I concur with rotecch77. But if you intend to do bring out the boldness more in this build you should do a modified version of a parapet retaining wall before you roof at that low kingpost( no need for hidden roof per se) I hope we know there's a big different between parapet walls and concrete fascia. Keep up the good work. |
Pius4me:Nice of you to drop by....... Just out of curiosity.....are you into building construction and which of the professions is your area of specialty? |
n3xt:Certainly you don't need a dedicated staircase for such. It's just positioning of the pent floor staircase extending the final landing while you have the doors for both entry to master suite and tank section on adjacent sides. I'd really love to see this floor plan. |
Dubemcapital1:Good job.. This strip reinforcement, do your raise the reinforcement some "mm" off the ground/soil before blinding or it's stays in direct contact with the soil and you run the blinding? Why do you place hardcore on those column sections? |
n3xt:Sapele water means local gin(ogogoro or kai-kai or original). The strongest type is used to mix with certain roots/herbs to cure certain ailments. Just one shot of the original will determine the degree of mental carriage. ![]() |
n3xt:Pre-preventing a security breach post occuring. ![]() Let me ask. What's your best layout of access to the pent house? Does it have a stand-alone staircase or access is through the master bedroom(any bedroom) depending on its possible extended usage? |
n3xt:Since it's still in design phase and if it's a contemporary build and roof system going with a pent house. I think what I said should be okay. Do your structural to be able to hold a concrete tank on that section after the decking slab. The quantity of water to use daily should be ascertained so as to determined the height/width/length of the tank. |
n3xt:You're saying you've already built the structure and at the moment you're on the 3 rd floor? Don't know how you can incorporate it to the pent house section. But you can do your pent house design in such a way that the decking slab extends to carry a concrete cast tank. Create an exit door via the pent house to get access the tank. The reserved opening can as well serve as a sit out for quiet moments. |
Sometimes when I look at the way we go about religious things and start quoting the Nigerian constitution I laugh at our myopic hypocritical sanctimonious sentimental mindset. That professor talking about religious tolerance.... Have you seen religious tolerance being played out when you see one muslim converting to being a Christian; guess it's all about choice?!!! |
Enskynelson:Let's not argue further..... Study the Scripture very well as to the positions of what role an apostle/evangelist, pastor, prophet, teacher, bishop .....all plays in the church. Don't bother about going through a dictionary or encyclopedia. Search the Scripture very well. The best dictionary to God's Word is in His Word. |
n3xt:How does the water in a dredged stream lead to shortage of ground water from aquifers beneath the earth for local usage via pumps? |
Princewell2012:That is one of the reasons I requested you find out from your pastor. Every church has its own doctrine............. But what you should ask God through His Spirit for is if that church doctrine is in line with His Word as written in the Scripture/Holy Bible. Do well to have a personal study of the Holy Bible and meditate on the Word of God. The prosperity of man is first in the knowledge of Christ Jesus and the right understanding of His Word. There are various forms of knowledge........ Knowledge from God grows in man and worketh incorruptible things and the Holy Spirit betters man's understanding daily as he meditates on God's Word. Shalom. |
Princewell2012:You're welcome. It's important you find out why your church is doing feet washing to enable you get more knowledge about it. The church I attend we don't do feet washing. Feet washing and taking Communion are two different things entirely. Communion taking is done in respect to keeping the remembrance of the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus. It's expected that you have a right standing with God before partaking in it. |
Enskynelson:When a GO dies then you'll know if that jet is church property or personal property. I see you keep mentioning geninue pastor. I do not know what you mean by enjoyment. Nevertheless If they don't enjoy anything here on earth then let's see how many of them will give their riches to the very less privilege in their church. The best enjoyment anyone can have is to have Christ Jesus in one's life. Happy New Month of March. May the windows of heaven be open to you and yours to receive special and unique blessings and favour from God in Jesus name, Amen. |
Enskynelson:There's a reason I keep saying read your Bible well.... A church has 170 branches ............and the G.O deems it fit to appoint other pastors to stay as resident pastors and each local branch have their own executives even to executives based on zones/districts......... Now the real question is with all this setup who truly is the CEO of the church? Who supervises the church.....the pastor or the God? Or you still think a church business can be likened to that of dangote business..... I do not know what you mean by efficiency of jet usage!!!!! Like I asked, is it the jet that carries the message of God or the man? Do you know how many people God will use the pastor to minister to of he enters a public plane even if he books the VVIP section? I do not know how they cope to do God's work. All I know is that men are vessels to do God's work. Do you know how John the Baptist coped in the wilderness eating honey and carmel meat to do God's work? Do you know how Prophet Elijah coped in doing God's work when he was fed by God with meat through ravens......... You said Paul achieved much because he moved......what was he mode of movement,.,...., simply put as a commoner. Just the same way Christ Jesus did. Do you not think they could also have used chariots of horses which I would say is the fastest on land or even own a ship of their own if they were to go on sea.........at least just to facilitate the work as you put it |
zuraking:It's not about the number of lights but the illumination to the area of coverage..... So if you're going for only max of 4 lights ensure the wattage for each bulb gives the required illumination to the area. |
Princewell2012:Please try and create a relationship with your pastor. Also if you see that as a hard task then do that with your house fellowship leader or Sunday school teacher or any other senior pastor you're drawn to. I ask my pastor questions as it concerns the Scripture pertaining to things I don't understand. I wanted you to know from your pastor so you know your ministry's view as to why they do feet washing. Now if you read the Scriptures carefully the reason why Jesus did such to His disciples was to let them know that even as they were called to lead as leaders they ought to be servants and not lord themselves over others. Another is that every one is expected to cater for his/her fellow brethren spiritually and physically according to what he/she possess in love willingly. Also it's another form of cleaning/cleansing that keeps the church as one in Christ. This last was why Jesus said this to Peter .....John.13.8 - Peter said to Him, "You shall never wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me" The bold here speaks about cleansing and final commissioning for His disciples to carry on the work of God from where Jesus will leave them as He was to be crucified. The verse below is a conclusion to that... John.13.20 - Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me." |
Enskynelson:Read your Bible very well and maybe if you've got the spirit to discern you'll understand the question I asked you.......... Do you not know that Jesus and any of His disciples could have chosen to ride on chariots of horses to go about doing this same business of God but did in the way as written in the Scriptures....... It's not the jet that conveys the message of God. Maybe having a jet is of necessity but looking at the way it's been used says it's a luxury. |
