I would appreciate if folks from Anambra could give us some insights into how Peter Obi performed as governor. I really like Osinbanjo he seems level headed and I would be comftable with him as president, but I would like to know more about Obi. I also like Amachi, is very tough and will not be a push over. Okonjo-Iwela is a technocrate not a politician. She has served her country well, it's now time for her to enjoy her international assignments. I don't rate Pat Utomi at all |
Buhari has been such a disaster, it was under him that Messi was unemployed for the fist time in his professional career! ![]() |
Loosing the election was the best thing that happend to GEJ. He is now regarded as a statesman across Africa, he's still relativily young so can enjoy many more years of international apponitments. Meanwhile the name Buhari will be rememberd with scorn and disdain for generations to come. Truth be told GEJ won and Buhari lost. |
As long as they keep their Kanu loving madness in the SE no wahala. |
danilmo:Tell them bro. Their governors did not even show up at the last southerner governors meeting, the very forum where they could lobby the SW and SS, they seem to think all they have to do is shout 'Give us SE president' and the rest of the country will just fall in line. Yeye dey smell |
It's too late for Peter Obi to be saying all this. Where has he been when Kanu and Ipob have been insulting all the other ethnic groups in Nigeria? A lot of people who would have normally been sympathetic and supportive of the SE have been totally repulsed by the antics of ipob. |
Please give the Igbos their refrendum and let them vote to leave or stay, enough of all this strees. As long as the Biafra is made up of the 5 SE states, no wahala. Stay at home order was only obeyed in the SE states, those are the states that will form their Biarfra. I wish them well with it. |
Southern muslims, your fulani master has spoken. Since you guys are all blind and can't see the moon for yourselves! ![]() |
Firstly we give thanks that you and your friends got back safe and sound. It truly amazes me how some Nigerians think and reason. How can anyone in this country not know that the govt at both state and federal level are hands and glove in co-operation with the so called bandits. The 'bandits' are basically a fulani militia. They are the armed wing of the Fulani nationalists who currently rule Nigeria. Their ultimate aim is the total domination of the the land mass called Nigeria. To finish the jihad began by Dan Fodio. Those who have ears let them hear. 2023 you will see the just how ruthless these people are. |
amalab30:Please don't deceive yourself. The ONLY reason this is a case is because the relevant parties were not settled. This type of fraud is going on in ALL govt agencies. When they make an example of this one, the rest will ensure they settle the 'Oga's at the top' |
Nonsense. England and Scotland have been United for over 360 years and yet a majority of Scots today favour separation from England. A Scottish person and an English person have a lit lot more in common than a Northerner and Southerner. Please let us all go our separate ways. We should keep sharing the oil and gas revenue for the next 30 years no wahala, but everybody rules themselves. |
We are only independent on paper. In every aspect where it really matters we are still very much a colony. Our best brains work for the US and UK. We owe the west and China billions of dollars. They have lieu on our resources. We might as well just opt for full recolonization. I can't see how being a British colony for the next 100 years can be worse than what we have now. |
Calling ACF, NEF, Malami, Senate President, Buhari..... Abi when we banned open grazing in the south you all said it was anti north, oya now go and talk to your brothers. Brainless people, who don't want to progress. |
What of all the maintenance they have been doing for decades? I beg make person hear word.... |
chrisvic007:The Igbos seem to think everyone else should just fold their hands and hand the presidency to them in 2023. They quote Obasanjo, did an Igbo man, Alex Ekwueme not contest the PDP primary against Obasanjo? Come 2023 let ALL interested Southern politicians throw their hats in the ring and may the best win. Simple. |
Anazp:You have spoken well my brother. Igbos just seem SO desperate to claim other tribes as being Igbo, even when the leaders of those tribes have made it clear they are not. Why not focus on having good and cordial relationships with other groups instead of all this trying to claim them? I am Edo, we have excellent relations with our Yoruba, Urhobo and Itsekiri cousins We know we are all related historically, but nobody tries to claim that the others as part of them. We respect each others separate and distinct identities. |
The sad thing is that this message wil spread across the north, and most the illetrate people wil believe it. This country truly has no future. I've been saying it, the south and middle belt should forget 2023 and put together a united front to demand restructuring NOW. Part of the restructing must include the rules and modalities for seccesion. Anybody who still belives in 'One Nigeria' and thinks this country can every work, needs their head examined |
DankemzI:Please let's be honest. I am from the south south. The reason the oil compaines moved to Lagos was due to insecurity. Was it not their oyibo workers that were being kidnapped a few years ago. It was getting to the point were Oyibo executives were refusing posting to Nigeria. We in the south south did ourselves, we can't blame Yoruba for this. |
I try to be fair, so yes I will agree with a lot of what Femi has written. Buhari has indeed done well in terms of providing critical infrastructure. It must be remembered that is being done at a time of serious strain on the nations purse. He has however failed woefully at securing the nation. The current high rate of insecurity means economic activity is subdued, and the gains of the improved infrastructure can't be realized. |
DoggoneDogg:Matthew 7:1-3 |
He needs to go to WailingWallers.com, create an account and place an order for his T-shirt and cap. Due to unprecedented demand, it may take at least 4 weeks for it to arrive. ![]() |
Jerryherd:You have said it all. Its amazing people are still waiting for some messianic president to come and save the nation, when the real problem is the current structure. |
Nonsense. Nigeria has problems but we shall overcome them. The US desperately want Nigeria to fail, because they know its success will act as a spur for the blackman everywhere. |
Anakojum:Bro, if only you know what Nigerians do behind closed doors to curry favour from benefactors, you'll loose your faith in humanity |
OGHENAOGIE:O boy I beg use google to translate your post into proper English. ![]() |
ACF, NEF over to you guys. When the south said heardsmen must leave the bush you all said it was 'anti North' , now a Northern traditional ruler is saying the same thing. How far? ![]() |
Joromi1:What is my business with Tinubu for goodness sake? |
WarriAproko:You are actually making me point for me. This man has been a senator for 18 years and is non performing. That means he can't win based on his record, instead he needs Ibori's backing to get re-elected. It is for his people to reject him, regardless of whatever Ibori influence is brought to bear. As long as they keep voting the way Ibori wants, Ibori will keep being a power broker, and elected officials like the senator will keep kneeling for him. Sad but true fact I am afraid. |
Wickedfact:Its easy to throw insults. Why not try and engage in an intellectual debate for a change. Question to you. Do you think any sane man, would kneel for another man unless he really has to? |
seunmsg:I don't know if you are referring to me or the other poster. For me I've never questioned Tinubu's status in Lagos as a godfather. Where I attacked him, was when we was trying to interfere in Edo politics. I was and remain a strong supporter of the 'Edo no be Lagos' crowd. Whatever Tinubu decides to do In Lagos is between him and Lagos people. |
WarriAproko:No shame at all. How did the Senator get elected? Did he do it on his own merit? We can either face FACTS or live in FANTASY. The fact is in Delta state James Ibori is a POWER BROKER. Simple. That may be a good thing, it may be a bad thing, but it IS A THING. If this senator was confident that he can get re-elected without Ibori's support he would not be on his knees before him. If you think it's shameful, then why not go and try to run for Senate in that constituency without Ibori's support and see how far you'll go. its easy to form mouth on Nairaland. |
What's the problem? If he's offended his godfather should he not apologize? |
