Ok. What of the idea of using a sponsor with different surname? I think Tokyo University of foreign studies and Hiroshima city University offer my program. Wats your take on these schools?
I don’t understand what you mean by sponsors, all the University wants to know is that you have paid your fees.
Both universities are not National University so expect fees to be slightly above 1 million yen.

Most national universities

1.5 million naira or yenhuh

all national schools(equivalent to our federal schools) annual tution fee is 550,00yen excluding admission fee.
The good news is i think most schools allow installmental payment, like you could pay amission fe and first semester tution fee and get visa
a camerounian did that and did part time job to raise the next semester fees

Hello everyone, I applied to a language school in Japan. All documents have been sent by DHL, the school is asking me to send my original certificate to them again. I already sent certified copies and processing already started for certificate of eligibility.

I called Japanese embassy, they said its not proper and wont be liable for any issue.
I'm wondering why a language school not a university is asking for such document.

They promised to send it back with certificate of eligibility if all process is successful.

I'm skeptical of sending my original certificates, no one issues a second one in Nigeria.

Dear timilehin,
Konnichiwa!

I hope this email finds you well, with regards to your documents. we really need the original copy of your diploma and your TOR. please send it as soon as possible. thank you!

Best regards,

Lisa
Thats wierd, why do they nrrd your originals.
embassy don wash hands comot
wtie them back siting embassy concerns as well.
i dont blam ethem jare...they are naive, once they hear africa, all they think off are bush men walking around in leaves and swinging off tree, so they find it hard to believe that you have a university degree.
i bet you, go there and speak english, they dont understand how you can speak english, its not suppose to be possible. you are form afirca...you know...HIV?AIDS, war torn, etc.....

what scholarship please?
There are many scholarships acesible to students only when you are in japan
you wont even find them on any website
the internationla section of all universities handled them, once you are enrolled, you are asked and your details are put into te scholl scholarship database, the school applies for you until you can get any.

School also offer tuiton fee waiver as scholarship.

In japan , you are allowed to work and school, so if you are serious, get the admission, get on the plane, work your ass off, syudying and lesarning japanese in school.

even school cost for japanese people, they work part time jobs and go to school.

Westerners do this a lot in Japan because of the favourable visa policies their countries have with Japan. Recently, a Chilean wanted to know how to get a job in Japan without being in the country and he was given suggestions one of which included that allows Chilean to visit Japan for about a month or so and he should aim get a job afterwards. Search for Ganjipot on Facebook.

Regarding teaching English, it's important to state that Nigeria isn't seen as a native English speaking country. The closest African country that can be accepted by schools as such is South Africa. Does he possess a degree certifying him as someone qualified to teach English language as a foreigner? Again, that's one job most westerners get after entering Japan through a visit instead of work. So you have serious competition and you're not a black American sef. Like someone said, the best way to get to Japan as a Nigerian is through the study route - postgraduate or Japanese language school.

@Topic: I don't believe you searched for a thread on Japan and if you did, you didn't search very well.

https://www.nairaland.com/2655545/japanese-visa-travelling-japan
its funny how jamaicans are seen as native english speakers.
TravelRe: Living And Working In Japan - Always In My Wish List by blackbriar: 7:09am On Nov 27, 2019
Eikawas as they are known are companies that handle english teaching jobs in Japan.

You are recruited (1 year visa) mostly and renewable based on performance and job availability, and sent off either to a school (high school) or company to teach students or company staff english language.

There is the JET programme by which japanese govt get volunteers from all over the world to come to japan to teach english in japanese school sadly only south africa is the only african country on that list but jamaicans are on the list.

Average salary ranges form 140,000yen to 200,000 yen but its at most a 2 years contract. You have to look for a job all over again; which is do-able
You cannot change tourist visa to work visa, but if you do get a job while on the tourist visa , you go home and apply for the work visa from home.Whereas you can change student visa to work visa.

Japan is a very self reserved country. its a beautiful country but self reserved.
and you can not overstay your visa in japan, you willbe detained indefinitely if you do.
TravelRe: Living And Working In Japan - Always In My Wish List by blackbriar: 6:52am On Nov 27, 2019
the best way to migrate to japan and get a job is either by education route(postgraduate) and language school.

There are jobs plenty enough to go round but language barrier is your main problem.
English teaching jobs are there but mostly favoured off to americans and europeans plus the salary isnt so bad but on the long run ....well you get the idea.
If you are into IT, with a little study of japanese in a language school, jobs are available , as you need little japanese to work in that industry.

my advise , try postgraduate school route, 2 years masers program at a national university where you can learn japanese for free while studying for your masters degree.

the language school option is also there but the cost of the language school(1 year) is same as masters degree.

good day to you all, I graduated in the year 2015 from uniport with a CGPA of 3.43 from biochemistry department and I want to do my MSC in any of the health-related courses in Japan: 1 MSC in Public Health 2 MSC in healthcare management 3 MSC in biotechnology and renewable energy. the question now is which of the schools in Japan offer health courses at graduate level and in English to int'l students without any oral examination or interview? I've tried some schools, they said they don't accept Nigerians while some also said I need oral and written examinations and I don't know if I will be in Japan for the exam or if it will be written online. pls help a brother with any schools that accept Nigerians without any stress!
"They don't accept Nigerians , why?"

Germany gives *residence permit* for 18 months to look for jobs (in area of study) after MSc or BSC. If one completes Masters/ technical college/ BSc/ in Japan, will the person receive this *residence permit*?
There is a 6 months visa after graduation to look for a job...basically in japan you get job a year before graduation.your main problem would be understanding the language fluently

hi i have tried to get admition in some language schools in Japan but the reply i do get from them is that they don't give Nigerians visa. Is it true? How we i go about it?
YES...They do not give visas for language schools to Nigerians(guess why)
Infact langugae schools are super expensive, more expensive than graduate programs.
Your best shot is to apply for a masters program in a National University, Japanese language is taught for free at national Universities.
Read this thread form the beginning for guidance how.

That's my simple question.
he can not
japan does not have undergraduate programs for international students except your cousin speaks japanese fluently and can prove it with at least an N2 in JLPT;japanese language proficiency test.
You can only do a post graduate program for international student i
