Very true plus Roppongi comes to mind but be insistent send as many emails as possible to many professors in as many national universities in japan that offer your proposed course. The mail should contain your proposed research plan and educational certificates as well as ielts. Yes also copy the international office on those mails. It will show intent and purpose Plus japan university want good English speaking international student but alas Africa has a bad repute in japan Nigerians and Kenyans have tarnished Africa’s image.plus unicef continuous image of Africa as a war torn country filled with all kinds of diseases moonraker: The bolded is one point. But I will be frank with you.
Calling with a Japanese number will not change the situation.
As someone who has been through the Japanese educational system,
Professors dont have time. For me to talk to my
Prof back in the day, i would have to make an appointment. I think what guys need to do is to contact
the admissions office of the prospective school and take it from there.
The Japanese visa is one of the hardest Visa`s to get right now as a Nigerian
because of what our brothers have done in the past. Nigeria has a very bad rep here.
I posted some news about some Nigerian destroying gravestones and temples in Osaka.
Tell me, when that news gets passed on to MoFA, its game over.
I am not against helping anyone here, make no mistake about that.
I am just not in support of something that i would not do myself. |

【A Nigerian helped Japan! Thank you, Mr. Eze】 The Embassy of Japan had an interview with one of the ABE Initiative participants, Mr. Okechukwu Ignatius Eze, about his ambitious volunteering in Hiroshima Prefecture this summer. He felt and learned a strong community spirit, character and resilience from his activity in Koyaura community in Saka-cho, Hiroshima, which suffered from the flood incident.

moonraker: I believe you have been answered?
What your asking for doesn’t exist. I am telling You the gospel truth here. Every school requires That you do an entrance exam plus interview For masters. I know this because I literally Walked my girl through the process.
Plus before anything, you would have to drop something before any thing happens. The only way you get to avoid all that bullshit is if you by some miracle get the Mext scholarship. Which as you know, is a mountain on its own from Nigeria .
That lives you with language school. The language school will require that you drop half of the tuition before they send you admission letter. Which leaves you with the mountain of convincing the embassy that you will return after your Japanese language studies or if your unlucky, you will be asked to convince the embassy, why japan or the Japanese language. Are you seeing the picture? There is a catch but quite costly If you are an engineering student you must go as a research student for 6 months before becoming a masters student. It’s during that period as a research student that you take the entrance exams into masters program. A research student does nothing well apart from say learning Japanese But you still have to pay tuition fee as a research student |

Jacob50: Hey Guys, II was hoping I can get advice here
I'm trying to do my masters in Japan and I can currently cover every oda expenses but my tuition fee. So I was planning on travelling ova there, work for d period b4 admissions start coming in then use my salary to pay the tuition. I was wondering if anybody here can advice on the type of visa that can offer me something close to this possibility.
A work holiday visa would have worked but Nigeria is not on the list allowed to apply for a Work holiday visa
Ps: I do have a relative there willing to help. Thanks in advance As it’s your first time....pay your tuition first, you need it for visa The next tuition, school no go drag you not will immigration harass you. Japanese Universities accept installment payment of tuition and please get hostel accommodation it’s tge cheapest You can get part time job right away on landing after you get work permit |

trastar: 2.5 million for Visa application if you have a family of 4-5, yes. But this is what i always say to people, the process is such that your victories are in stages and the fee for the smaller victories isnt that much. English test is a victory-cost about 55k EA assessment another victory- the most important hurdle to cross -cost about 300k (if i am not mistaken).
By the time you have spent this almost 500k and you are receiving the good news of ITA. Like a letter from Australia saying "Madam, you are eligible, pay for visa"- 2.5M will be the least of your worries. Its like being pregnant and going into labour-the joy of what comes after labour is too big compared to the pain of labour.
On the issue of what to assess as, the truth is, you really need to read the thread. I am also hoping our engineers in the house can help. Also, you may want to wait with assessment for now. New occupation list will be out in July. wait to see whats on it before applying. How much roughly for one person abeg |

Nayaaaaa: Good day everyone in the house. I have been following this thread from part 1 (although I didn’t finish because the thread is too long) and I have some questions. We want to use my husband as principal applicant Age: 33 Education: Bsc Electical and Electronics Engineering Years of experience: 7+ NYSC 8 English test: not yet His work experience is in telecommunications site management, now he’s a regional manager in the same job. We don’t know what profession to use. And what states to apply to. Q Secondly, someone said I shouldn’t bother with Australian pr that it costs about 2.5mill for application. Can someone please confirm or refute this claim 2.5 million ke, how? |

You just have to find a way to make oga write his, maybe at weekends with ice cream bribe . rianah: I'm back again my people. So hubby is the one with a 6 years work experience in aviation telecoms. He was supposed to be the principal applicant, write CDR and all.
Now he's saying he's too busy at work, now time. Me I want to pursue my aussie dreams. Truth is, I've been preparing for pte like I was the one writing the exam. I've also done a lot of info gathering to the little of my knowledge. I want to apply as the principal applicant. But I do not have any form of work experience related to my course. Hubby and i studied Electronics and Computer Engineering. I worked as an ICT support staff for just 6 months, worked as a customer service officer in another engineering firm for 2 years before I finally joined the bank where I worked for 2 years before leaving to start my business .
The issue here is my CDR. The only career episode I can confidently write is my final. Year project. Even during service year I served with NSCDC. And it's not one bit relaTed to my course.
My people, please I need advise and someone that can mentor me through this journey oh. Oya wants to dull my shine but truly I'm so determined. But this CDR issue is a constraint |
