NAHCO WORKER RETURNS 25,000 POUNDS FOUND INSIDE AIRCRAFT

FOR his rare show of honesty, Turkish Airlines has rewarded a staff of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company, NAHCO, Mr Salami Lateef Ibrahim with an all expensive paid returned tickets to Istanbul, Turkey for returning the sum of 25,000 pounds and 5,000 euro he found inside an aircraft at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

Ibrahim, who is a cabin cleaning team leader, found the wallet containing the amount during a routine cleaning of an aircraft belonging to a different airline.

The NAHCO staff who was initially rewarded with a rebate ticket by the Turkish Airlines Station Manager at the airport, Mr. Ovunc Bilgen had the ticket upgraded to a full return ticket by the Managing Director of the airline in Nigeria, Mr. Ali Bulut, saying that ‘Mr Ibrahim deserves it for his honesty.’

He said that ‘this is an act that should be rewarded and encouraged because it is good for aviation industry in Nigeria,’ adding that ‘even though the incident did not take place on Turkish Airlines’ aircraft, we are happy that it happened at least in the industry.

According to him, ‘where I come from, good behavior is rewarded even if it is not directly to you. We appreciate Ibrahim so much and this is worthy of emulation for other aviation personnel that they must be trusted at all time and that good gesture such as this will surely be rewarded.’

‘We are rewarding him with full free return ticket to Istanbul and would be assisted in issuance of his visa for the trip as well’ Mr Bulut added.

On his part, Ibrahim disclosed that ‘when I found the wallet inside the aircraft while cleaning it, I submitted it to security and airline personnel and the passenger came to collect the wallet in my presence. I want to thank Turkish Airlines for rewarding me on this. I thank them’.

It was also discovered that the same act happened in September 11, 2009 where Ibrahim found another wallet on the airline in question’s aircraft with large amount which he cannot recalled the amount and he returned it to the owner. A letter of commendation was given to him by NAHCO for this praiseworthy act.

HealthRe: How Can I Stop Biting My Nails by Blendy77(f): 11:06am On Apr 21, 2012
Wanted to advise you to use varnish or cortex but when I read the line that said you also tried it and you ended up eating the cortex, I gave up on you cos that was what worked for me. I started using varnish with deep colors and discovered it was difficult putting my nails in my mouth cos the varnish colour and smell reminds me to take my nails off my mouth. If u were a lady, wod have advised u to fix artificial nails also to hide the natural one from getting into ur mouth. U can try using ink if you're not working, the one they use for burns and injuries. Success!
HealthRe: Help! Fluid Rushes Out After 2-3min Of Ejaculatn. by Blendy77(f): 10:49am On Apr 21, 2012
My Dear don't let anyone deceive you. Fluid rushing out of your body doesn't necessarily mean spiritual problems. Most women experience this especially if u stand up immediately after meeting with your husband. Most Drs advice u elevate ur waist with a pillow after mating and also lie down for at least 10-20mins before standing up. That is if u're sure everything other test is ok. Since its 2 years you've been married, get ur hubby to do SFA, you should do hormone assay especially day 21 to show u're ovulating. And if these 2 tests looks ok, consider doing HSG to be sure ur tubes are free. If the results comes out clean, then just relax and trusts God. I'm not ruling out the fact that spiritual problems does exist but do all the medicals n be sure u're clean b4 pursueing any pastor for deliverance. Lots and loads of baby dust ur way.
HealthRe: Cost Of IVF In Nigeria by Blendy77(f): 11:56am On Apr 12, 2012
Are you by any chance refering to the same Iya Alagbo that Akiika talked about on NL? If it involves sacrfice and spending a night in Ibadan, my sister that one don pass becareful o! Its better not to indulge in anything that one would regret for the rest his/her life. What's the need of having a child that is dedicated to the devil and you'll spend the rest of your life living in regret. Thank God you didn't go.
A colleague of mine also told me about one she was introduced to in PH who told her she's already pregnant and will deliver in 5months time. She argued with the lady that she just finished seeing her period, did both pregnancy tests and scan recently before travelling from Lagos to PH. The Lady kept insisting that its a spiritual baby that medical science cannot detect but if she pays the delivery fee of N500k, she would be delivered of the baby. She told me about it and I adviced to run away as fast as her legs can take her out of that place because they will end of selling another person's child to you for N500k making you believe its your child.
This particular one is rampant in PH, Aba and most of the eastern states. their modus operandu is harbouring teenage girls somewhere, giving you the impression that you're already pregnant and call you when u're in Labour (meaning the teenage girl has delivered and a baby is now available). Delivery fee is usually between N400 and N500k and the sole condition for their treating you is that you must deliver in their facility which is usually one scruffy unregistered hospital. A close relative of mine who went through that path ended up being abandoned by the husband who kept insisting the child wasn't his because he followed her to do a scan just before the child was born when she kept insisting that she's been told by the women that she's already pregnant. The man left her and the baby after several attempts at making her return the child. Even those that went to visit her the day she delivered also said the baby's navel was already baked less that 24hrs of claimed delivery. So my sisters, there are lots of fake Iya Alagbos and I really pray that God will not make us so desperate to the extent that we will be forced to patronize them.

There's really no harm in taking herbs if its properly controlled and you're aware of the contents of what u're drinking. I'm from niger delta and we take herbs for infertility and so many other ailments with native massages included. In fact there's this age long discharge I had from school which Drs have done all possible tests and when all came out negative, they attributed it to psychological probs. According to my company Dr, he said I have that discharge cos I always think about it. But the funny thg about the discharge was that it disappears after any shot of antibiotics and resurfaces again after 3 days of stopping the antibiotics. My sisters, its native herbs one mama gave me in warri that sent the discharge to exile for over a year now. She gave me some leaves to boil and sit on for 3 days and one other one to drink for 1wk. The good thing is I was there when she plucked the leaves from her garden in her compound and told me how to mix it. Since april last year, the discharge never came back and my Dr accepted that native meds are sometimes effective. Its bad when there's no dosage, mixed with diabolic stuff/incantations. One just has be careful and be sure of what u're drinking.
All those who contacted Iya Alagbo, its been almost 9months, please share ur success stories to encourage or discourage others.
Christianity EtcRe: Dominion Air: Bishop David Oyedepo Launches New Airline by Blendy77(f): 8:04pm On Mar 24, 2012
I reserve my comments.
But wait o! If the school fees of a Nigerian Christian University is quoted in $$$$ on its website, does it mean that the school is not meant for Nigerians since $$$$ is not our local currency or its quoted in $$$$ just for the elites since an average poor man does not know how to convert dollars to naira. I used to be a member of this church and I know the serious brainwashing going on there over seed time and harvest. Its not even voluntary contribution to the school as u're given a minimum amout you must pay monthly during the donations. At least Bowen University gives discount to all baptist family who has contributed to the building of the school by just presenting ur receipts. Our pentecostal pastors have really missed it and it saddens my heart that these people give muslims and pagans something to criticize christians with.
FamilyRe: Something Pierce(cuts)my Wife Body In The Night. by Blendy77(f): 3:07pm On Mar 24, 2012
There is absolutely no way a wall gecko, rat, cockcroach will climb your body at night to scratch you that you won't feel it especially if the scratches are found on your face, arms, neck, stomach and back. Its even their movement on ur body that even wake up befor the scratches if its actually them. When I had this same problem of scratches all over my body, my hubby attributed it to all these things I just mentioned even though we never had these things in the house because he doesn't believe witches exist until he too was scratched severely after mine had stopped. The truth is that these witches and wizards exist whether u believe it or not. Call it backwardness or uncivilization but the bottomline is that they do exist and we should keep praying they don't remember us nor our family. Even the bible acknowledge that they exist hence the phrase "suffer not a witch to live".

HealthRe: Cost Of IVF In Nigeria by Blendy77(f): 5:19am On Mar 24, 2012
Will send u an email later in the day. Ivf is good but not a guarantee that it will work with ur first trial. Its just God and luck. Some couples are lucky to even have twins with the first trial while others will have to try several times before it works for them. One thing that is sure is the fact that, a woman's age and medical history can contribute to the success or failure of the whole process. A woman with tied tubes will most likely get pregnant faster than the a woman with blocked tubes and a woman with hydrosalpinxed tubes. Samethg with fibroids and many other things that affect women including Natural Killer Cells which I just discovered. But like I said early on, its God that gives at the end.
With clinics like Bridge, you should be ready to spend N1.2m, Georges N1m, egypt N350-400k minus transport and hotel, capefertility center in south africa N700 minus transport and hotel accomo, indian 600-700k minus transport and accomo, National Hospital in Abuja N300 or so minus drug, someone also mentioned Uniben and its about the same rate with national hospital. But you know govt thgs in Nig. Anyways, depending on ur budget and location, I will personally recommend egypt or SA, most of most my colleagues have used these clinics and they all returned with results, can't tell if its because they were in a new environment that was stressfree or because their treatment plan over there is better than Naija. Peronally I used both Omni, Georges and Bridge. Omni is a write off as their success rate is very very low. Both Georges and Bridge have good success rate but Bridge is one clinic with its own problem. No patient welfare n u're given the impression that its ur moni they're concerned about not ur welfare. U only hear from the MD via fon call when u have a negative result encouraging u to come for another try without discount. He doesn't see patients except those who are either very rich or those who started the clinic with him. U're left with Drs who don't know their right from left, who do their first monitoring scan on day 10 of stimmi after all ur eggs have ruptured because that is their company policy as I was told. So I'll recommend Georges anyday. Heard medical art and st ives in ikeja is good but haven't been there b4. Lots of Nairalanders have gone to Georges and even those with negative result said they will return there due to the love and services they got.

IVF is between 900k and 950k including the drugs. It actually depends on your negotiating skills sha and your age. Don't know what they charge for IUI, you can walk in there just and ask or call Dr Emeka 08032011536. They are very good.

Psalm23, so sorry to hear about your fall. The devil is a liar and will never succeed. Meanwhile don't forget to sue them and make good money for yourself this season.
To every else, my friend's scan showed the 2 embryos transfered implanted. What a great news, twins for this season! I don't know why she has not come up to share her testimony herself, probably adjusting to her new title. babe congrats once again, can't stop sharing your testimony on ur behalf cos I'm already taping into it. For those that wants to know, she went to Bridge but always have it at the back of your mind that its God that did it.

It shows that come 2012, whether through IVF or natural conception, God will surely give us new titles from waiting mothers to expectant mothers. Congrats Girl!!!
FamilyRe: by Blendy77(f): 10:12pm On Nov 08, 2011
I also think its because our culture permits it. for example, the kind of look you get from family and friends when you complain that your husband is cheating on you. That kind of "and so?" look. As if 'is it a new thing" kind of look. That is because no one expects you to divorce your husband because he is cheating on you. the men too know that Nigerian women are also trying to avoid being called "second handed wives" so they keep cheaping since they feel their wives will always forgive them. Abroad its not so, Infact our Naija men tend to treat their wives differently while abroad than here in Naija.
HealthRe: Cost Of IVF In Nigeria by Blendy77(f): 9:58pm On Nov 08, 2011
I think these tests are done so the Doctors are sure of how to handle the patient and the embryos ealy enough in the event that one or both of them test positive to these tests. I don't think the Dr will stop the iVF process completely in the course of any eventualities. Couples with HIV and co are handled/ treated separately so the baby is not infected at birth. All the same, it is better to know your status and take precaution whatever the result than die of sadness due to childlessness cause you're scared of what your HIV status will be. Afterall Magic Jordan abi Johnson (the basketballer in America) celebrated 20 years of living with HIV yesterday so with proper medication it can be managed. Therefore, one shouldn't deprived himself of the joy of having children cos you're scared of the outcome of your HIV and hepatitis test.
Come to think of it, didn't you do these tests before marriage? Most churches actually conduct this test alongside with preganacy test before joining couples in Nigeria. Or could your friend be sared he contacted it after marriage? Its still better to know your status all the same.

HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Blendy77(f): 10:41pm On Oct 07, 2011
Guess you're not in Nigeria hence you would have known by now that people hardly talk about IVF/ICSI and other assisted reproductory technology publicly. Don't know why IVF is still a hush hush thing here in Nigeria. People have this mentality that your child is looked down on if they knew it was conceived via IVF. And so my dear, you will hardly find people who are ready to discuss their IVF ordeal. The annoying aspect of it is that, even when you catch your friends in IVF centers here, most of them still deny its IVF they went there for except when they are sure you also went there for same reasons.
Here they use Humog for stimulation, pregnyl for ovulation triggering and cyclogest after ET. I doubt if they do belly injections here. My experience in 2 different centers was stimulating inj on the bum. I wish you all the best.

Is there no cure for hepatitis B? I think you should go to a good hospital and seek help especially Luth (where they have lots of proffessionals) cos I believe it can be cured or managed at least. Also pray and get your fiancee to take the test as well. It is well.

HealthRe: Is There Any Solution For Blocked Tubes? by Blendy77(f):
Tubes are removed when they become a threat to life as in cases of ectopic pregnancies, hydrosalpinx (excess fluids in the tubes), and other reasons. Athough those without tubes tend to get pregnant easily through IVF because it is believed the caged fluid rows back and kills the embryos after transfer or prevents it from implanting. This hydrosalpinx business is usually taken care of with strong anti-biotics prior to IVF but not many people are lucky to get a BFP after embryo transfer. Even when everything is ok, you still get negative results after IVF so just keep trusting God cause IVF itself is a miracle. I've seen that fellopio stuff on the net but can't tell if they are effective as in I haven't seen anyone who used them even though they have distributors in Nigeria and have lots of testimonials on their site. Keep praying and don't give up!

The name is egyptian ivf center. just type www.egyptianivfcenter.com on the url. Dont google it. either type it or copy and paste it on the url. i planned on going there before I went to Georges because of their price and also success rate. My local Doc sent one of our staff there and she got triplets so I contacted them and even went to their embassy to make enquiries but could not travel out due to my job. Getting three weeks at a stretch was a problem so i opted for Georges when my friends also returned with results.
HealthRe: Cost Of IVF In Nigeria by Blendy77(f): 6:59pm On Jul 12, 2011
Very well my dear, God will answer all of us in due time. another place where u can have cheap ivf with results is in egypt. although i cant say how safe it is now (due to the unrest), but the treatment, drugs etc is not up to 300k. most drs say its expensive in naija cos of the light situation. if u have the time, this egypt is another place most of our staff go to and return with result. once you send them ur age and medical history, they send u a quotation and all u need to do. its usually not up to 300k when u convert it. by the time u add flights ticket for u and ur hubby and accomodation for 3 weeks, its about 500-550k in all depending on the hotel u choose. their website is www.egyptianivfcenter.com.
