All the twins and triplets are urs for grabs this season, receive!

@ Olikili, waoooo, 29 weeks! You've really done well for yourself. are u opting for elective CS? You seem to be 2 wks ahead of me and I feel like am already there. Can't wait to remove them as sleeping at night is becoming an issue as I've grown really big these past 5 weeks. Though am not on bedrest yet neither did I do cerclage but I've told my Doc I'm opting for elective CS at 35wks instead of going in labour. Although I planned on doing cerclage initially but somehow my Doc said I didn't need it as my cervix is fine and to be honest, a friend of mine who did it didn't find it funny at all as she was admitted several times for one correctn after the other so I was secretly happy when my Doc said I didn't need it. How big are your babies, Does their scan age tally with their fertilization age? My scan has always been 1week and 3 days bigger than the lmp abi gestational age but my Doc is insisting on 38wks if I don't fall into labor b4 then. Also did u do diabetics screening at 26wks? My Doc said I don't need it since my routine urine test has not showed any sign of increased sugar levels. This Georges don dey tire me small small o, just need to know am not alone on all this their protocols.

FamilyRe: Plz Help!!! Pregnancy Before Wedding by Blendy77(f): 10:01pm On Nov 15, 2012
I think it depends on the church in question. Most pentecostal churches and some orthodox churches like baptist won't wed you but can agree to marriage blessing. I think you should send someone maybe a relative or friend to find out for you and if its certain they won't conduct a normal wedding for you, then you can start preparing for a court wedding and marriage blessing. Note that court wedding is not automatic as you stilll need to file for it at least 21 days so you really need to start making those arrangements early before your bump starts showing. In all, guard your baby and don't ever consider abortion an option. All the best.
HealthRe: Help! A Man With Challenging Sperm Count by Blendy77(f): 10:09pm On Nov 14, 2012
A lady here on NL also had a baby with the hubby's 0 count fluid. What they did was TESE, an ivf procedure where fluid is taken from the source. They do it at Bridge clinic at no extra cost to your ivf. so your friend (if not u) should not get depreSsed as they are so many options at fathering his own child if he doesn't want to undergo the operation. All the best
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Blendy77(f):
Tanidabi Darling, am glad you and ur hubby decided not to follow that agbo route cos u wod have regretted it. Its very common in PH where I grew up and a lot of my friends actually cajoled me into trying these women out but I refused. Do u know why? 3 of my friends are divorced today because of the babies they got from there. The babies were not actually theirs. The agbo midwives will call u when a baby is readily available and tell u u're already in labor. The painful thg about this whole fraud is that they will tear u or do emergency CS to make it look real.
One of my very close friend who had her baby thru them was called while attending a wedding that she shd come down immediately that she's already in labor. She went from the wedding without informing her hubby and after tearing her, they gave her a baby boy. The hubby refused to accept the baby after he told them he wants to run a dna test and the midwives advised her against it so the man gave her the option of returning the baby and ending the marriage and she choose to leave him.
Recently in the Uk, it was discovered that a Nigerian couple was not the biological parents of their baby of many yrs. After arresting them and taking them to court, the woman confessed that a relative took her to a midwife who delivered her of the baby after telling her she was pregnant even when PT was negative and scan too showed no pregnancy.
Another close friend of mine also almost got into their trap if not for the hubby who insisted he must be in the labor room with them if not he will get the midwife arrested. He was allowed in and after tearing the poor girl up, they told her that the witch disturbing them was too strong that was why the baby disappeared. This act is very common in the eastern states like ihiala, abia, oyingbo and ph. Its about 350k-500k. They will tell u you're pregnant, no positive pregnacy, no sac seen in scan, and finally you will know them when they tell u its only them that can deliver of the pregnacy if they assist u to get pregnant. They make u believe the pregnancy is spiritual.
My sisters just avoid them except you've made up your mind to adopt. Even at that, its illegal adoption with no documentation and if anythg goes wrong, maybe the real mother of the baby resurfaces, be sure they will come back for the baby. My younger sis who is a lawyer is currently handling one of such case in PH. You can imagine the embarassment the whole saga has caused on the couple cos my sister told me newsmen and photographers always come around to snap the couple whenever they go to court.
Before I got pregnant with ivf, 2 of my colleagues invited me to ihiala that they've found the solution to our problem as somebody in Ihiala wants to assist them in getting pregnant and the condition is that they will deliver with the women and pay 500k for delivery. Both women are yorubas so I asked them that what will they tell their husband as the reason for going all the way to ihiala in anambra state to deliver when our company uses st Nicholas and other big hospitals here in Lag? They told me the midwife said they shd say its a spiritual attack and only the midwives can deliver them. I said ok o, me, my husband is in Lagos, my parents in PH and my inlaws in warri so I won't be able to explain my reason for going that far to give birth. Within 3 months, both ladies returned with. 2 sets of twins after wearin maternity clothes for like a month. Me I just watched them as the news started spreading in the office they they both delivered one day apart and they travelled abroad to give birth. I smiled and also praised God with others for their life since they are happy with themselves.
FamilyRe: Pressed By Unseen Hands In Your Sleep??? by Blendy77(f): 2:39am On Nov 11, 2012
I experienced it in the early 90s after loosing my younger sis under mysterious circumstances. Its 100% spiritual. Infact mine got so bad that I had to relocate from my parents house to my Aunt's place and they followed me there. I'll wake up screaming after the hands had left me. But then, I over came it after embarking on a 3 days fasting and prayers on my own. It stopped the very first day I started the fasting so I can tell you its spiritual.

@ Abibyy, when i read you're using nasal spray, i was going to ask what clinic you're having your ivf cos I havent heard of its usage here in Naija till u said you're not in Naija.
Good to know most of us are starting this month. I hand over the batten of twins and triplets to you all. It is sealed and settled that you all must come out with results in Jesus name. We are all waiting to celebrate this 11th hour miracle with all of u. 2013 will witness all our baby dedication in Jesus name. Congrats in advance to all of you.

@ All, we are good, the twins are doing great, gaining weight by the day, we are 26weeks today and by God's grace, 12 more weeks or less to go. Hubby is excited and cant wait to hold his own. In all we thank God and for once since we got married 6yrs ago, we are looking forward to celebrating Chrismas. God is truly awesome. Baby dust to y'all.

Pikin mama, u be serious case.
Anyways, it suits the Lady right. when psalm23 started this thread, it was one of the issues we discussed, pretence. Have had so many friends who kept denying they did ivf. I have this particular friend who said her pregnancy entered miraculously one day without her knowledge after 11 yrs. Another day she forgot what she told me initially and was gisting me how she went for pregnancy test the day her Dr told her to come but her brother was in the car and she didnt want him to kno why she went to the clinic that day so she made him wait in the car. Another day she was advising me to try ivf and i told her i've done 2 already and she asked me where n I mentioned omni, and she said oh no, why didnt you tell me so I can give you my Dr's number, he is very good and he does just ivf. I laughed like I've never laughed b4 and told her I'll com for it when I need it. This lady was supposed to be a pastor's wife and I used to look up to her for advice and co since I was just 2 yrs in marriage then while she was 11yrs so u can imagine how disappointed I was.
We really need to change our mindset where ivf and other ART is concerned.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Blendy77(f): 3:12pm On Nov 04, 2012
Hello Baba Bosun, I think you should go for the hormonal test to check your levels and there after follow your Drs advice and prescription in order to balance your hormones. Hormonal disorder in infertility cases is about the easiest to treat because they have readily affordable and available drugs for its treatment. The worse that can happen is ivf even when you dont have a single spermatozoa. At least I know there's a technology now in Nigeria called TESE where spermatozoa is gotten from the source to fertilize the female eggs before transfer to uterus. I know a lot of couple who used that procedure and they all have wonderful kids today even here on NL so dont get depressed nor give yourself a death sentence by pronouncing yourself infertile. First thg first. Go for the tests and get treatment.

Godiya you have heard from PikinMama's mouth o, all the best with this procedure. We shall all rejoice with you and all our other sisters this year in Jesus name, Amen.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Blendy77(f): 2:04am On Oct 29, 2012
Mrs Brightside, welcome on board. I sincerely pray you too will share your testimony on this thread very soon. Emeka is good but you know it's God who gives. So add prayer to every procedure you decide to embark on. You can actually give iui a chance if every other parameter is ok just that you need to work at reducing the prolactin since it inhibits ovulation on its own. Congrats on your 11 yr old son, it means you will soon be a G-Mama in no time. : wink.

Doyinsola I think you should talk to your Doc. It's only him that can tell you candidly why there was no implantation in the first attempt since he knows your history. Although they don't come up with any explanations most times especially when all parameters seem ok. With IUI you can't be sure the swimmers actually met with your eggs unlike IVF so you just have to keep trying till you get results. Even IVF is not a guarantee that the embryos will implant. Quite a number of peeps have been sharing good testimonies on IUI so hopefully your testimony will come soon.
HealthRe: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Blendy77(f): 10:27pm On Oct 27, 2012
I read this thread from the very first post to the last probably out of curiousity. I know its not going to be easy with twins but with this thread, I have an idea of what to expect. Creams, formulars, sleeping positions, breast feeding tips etc. The list is endless but in all, I've learnt a lot. Kudos to all the mums out there and thanks for sharing. Cant wait for my babies to arrive so I can join this thread officially.

Wonyi Darling, God loves you and have received your apology letter. Your letter actually brought tears to my eyes and I ernestly pray that God will answer you soon. Dont be discouraged, and dont give up. Keep trying your best and leave the rest for Him. Baby dusts to you and all my other sisters still in God's waiting room. So many testimonies have been coming in this season. Yours will not be left out. One love!

Congrats Girl, my love and kisses to DD. God bless her real good and I pray this sort of blessing will go round for all those who desire it.

20yrs of ttc? na wa o! God thank you for changing my story and so many women on NL. My Sister 20yrs is not moimoi o. I waited for 6yrs within which I felt so lonely and forsaken and even gave adoption a try. I ernestly pray God will meet that Lady at the point of her need.
Back to you Tanidabi, if your tubes are still intact as you said, you shod give iui a trial cos its less invasive and very economical. Moreover, quite a number of peeps have been sharing their testimonies of iui so give it a trial B4 burning 1m on ivf. Heard Emeka does it for 200k or less.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Blendy77(f): 7:51am On Oct 26, 2012
Negozi, really dont know what to say. This is such a terrible experience. When I noticed your post was hidden yesterday, I kept wondering what's in the content to warrant your being banned.
My sister, kpele. We had an arguement over this cleanshield stuff on another thread where a pregnant women was being cajoled into taking it to remove her fibroid and keep her unborn baby safe. When I criticized the drug abi herbs, was told by the marketer that the drug is US or Uk approved with gurantee and the lady went ahead to place her order. Dont know how many of us saw that post.
My Dear, am glad you pulled thru with the rashes. You didnt say if the fibroid actually left or got reduced in size but all the same, thank God for your life. As bucacious suggested pls take it to God in prayers and while listening to wise counsel from your Drs especially after 3 different Drs told you the same thing.
What we go thru as women just to bring a child into this world, only God knows and understands and I pray He sees all of us through this ordeal. Baby dusts to all of us still in God's waiting room.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Blendy77(f):
Doyin welcome on board. I also pray God will grant u that which u so desire.

Olori, I think you should google Nigerian Ivf centers on the net to check online if any of them is into PGD. You can also call them to confirm as most of them readily display their contact numbers online. I heard medical art in Ikeja does it but not too sure.

Omonikiba, if fluid issues is involved then ur major bet is ivf/icsi where they can be sure the egg is actually fertilized before transfering back to u. But then, you might just be lucky with IUI as there is nothing God cannot do. Don't be worried as worrying has never solved any infertility issues. I've always advised people to try ManiX cos it worked for me. Begging Hubby to take his drugs is normal so keep encouraging and petting him. That is why we are called WOMEN. When the baby arrives you will still be petting both him and the baby even in your condition. So don't get tired now cos it doesn't end with TTC
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Blendy77(f): 9:06pm On Oct 16, 2012
Damsell, it is well. I feel your pain cos av gone through this route before and I can remember crying my eyes out when my first ivf turned negative and DH was just staring at me not knowing how to console me. It is well my sister. My prayer for every waiting mother is that God will visit them sooner than expected cos I really don't want to celebrate alone. It will do me no good to visit this thread this time next year n the same women are still waiting so God must answer all of us together so we all look back at 2012 and smile. My sisters, it will happen for all of you soon.
Since its unexplained apart from the high prolactin, have they tried treating the prolactin with drugs like parlodel? Also do you ovulate regularly with the high prolactin? Cos high prolactin inhibits ovulation but can't tell if its responsible for the failed procedure if u got high quality embies. Maybe you might need to try naturally as well while deciding on the way forward.

MrsAma thanks a bunch for the response. Pls I want to encourage all those whose tubes are stiill patent to give IUI a thought since more and more peeps are getting results through this less invasive and economic method. Let's chase infertility away this year. Baby dust to all our millenium momas in God's waiting room.

Please go to the hospital let them do a scan and run a check on you and the baby. It might not be a miscarriage but then could be somethg else so you need to see your gynae ASAP.

Infertility is one roller coaster ride that is beyond human comprehension especially when everything is ok. Its only God that understands it and gives without any conditions. If you want to try Dr Smith, send me an email so I can forward his address to u.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Blendy77(f): 8:37pm On Oct 13, 2012
lots of peeps do get pregnant with pcos if every other parameter is ok. like patient tubes and hubby's sfa. was your Dr able to get you to ovulate with the metformin and other fertility drugs you were given? once your pcos is taken care of and you're able to ovulate normally, you should have a higher probability of getting preggy by God's grace. Have you done hormonal assay, sfa and hsg? your Dr should also screen you n hubby for infections if you havent done so already. All the best Dear.
HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Blendy77(f): 7:57am On Oct 10, 2012
Hmmmmmm, Mamatriplets, it is well o. I can understand where you're coming from with this post. The world is truly wicked and it baffles my heart when I try to imagine what people gain from making others unhappy by deprieving them of their hearts desire. Children are truly gifts from God and no man can deny us that, not even the devil himself. Have you tried going for deliverance with your hubby? I know mfm organizes this 3 days dry fasting and prayers at their camp. You go there on friday and leave sunday afternoon after service. They have cheap accomodation within the camp where you can stay and you will be amazed at the number of people who are also lodge there for weekend deliverance service. The other alternative is 1st saturday of the month"s power must change hands. My sisters, its really not convenient but then spiritual battles has to be tackled spiritually. I attended all of these, including Winners Shiloh and redemption camp for the fruit of the womb programs and still attend even though its not convenient for me and hubby. So my advice is seek help from God while using drugs/science/technology cos its only God that can make anything drug/science/technology work for you.

Ladyjay welcome on board. we are glad you found most of the posts here useful. you are definitely not alone on this and I sincerely pray you will share your testimony soon as the bfp fever is still going round. by the way, have you seen a gynae? what did they diagnose as the cause of infertility? Its always good you spill it out as you might just find someone who has same issues as you and you will be able to learn one or two things from what they did differently. also spill the cause on the ttc thread if your tubes are still viable for advice from experienced hands.

@Tanidabi, Emeka is good I can assure you as am a living testimony. At least you dont get to pay anything on first visit and followup. you only pay when u're sure you want to start the procedure. All the best Dear. my babies send their love and sticky vibes to all of you. we shall join all of you to celebrate soon.

Sent you an email yesterday. Don't worry, just relax, you've been pregnant before so you will definitely get pregnant again. Keep the faith that it must stay this time around cos with God all things are possible. George's is good, I've posted Dr Emeka's number on this forum several times, 08032011536. You can talk to him and he will advice you on the way forward. Secondly, I just discovered a new center on Adeola Odeku, it's called true care fertility. One of my friends got Preggy with quads there with just 600k. My Sis Inlaw also visited the place and confirmed they are good so for all of you who want to cut cost and still get results, maybe you can try True Care for IVF and IUI. I haven't been there before o, am only writing based on people's result so also share your experience if you've been there. Baby dusts to all our millennium mamas in the house.

HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Blendy77(f): 12:11pm On Sep 28, 2012
Lolliporp, you need to see a good gynae on the bleeding and spotting when you're not menstr.uating. That could be an hormonal issue of its own that needs to be resolved. Cant tell if pcos leads to spotting at intervals cos I never experienced it even when my pcos was at its peak. So see a good Doc.
Baby dusts to all
