I have a feeling that this super eagles should never be promised any largeese again in their matches. Why?
I have observed that whenever they are promised bonuses, they make a shit of all the money. In fact they always play contrary to the motivation's intent.
Don't motivate them financially, but be hard on them. I think that that will do.They are a bunch of Bleep-ups
PoliticsRe: Who Replaces Gani As Masses Defender? by blesdman(m): 6:04pm On Sep 07, 2009
Gani was A MAN. I almost cried when I heard it. This guy had the guts and character of a hero. Untiring and unswaving in his convictions. Like one writer said, it will take ordinary nigerians standing for what is right whereever they are to keep on in the legacy of this legend.
GANI was a total believer in the rule of law and the rights of the common masses. I think that we really need believers. Men who believe in these values and are willing to go miles for it to be entrenched in the society. That was the guts of this man. May his soul rest in peace.
As for his replacement. Keyamo shows some promise. Watch out for me also.
CareerRe: I Dey Vex. My Payslip Vs The Work I Do by blesdman(m): 10:46pm On Sep 02, 2009
@ TADY
YOU ARE RIGHT. BUT THE STATISTICS SUBMITTED BY THE OTHER GUY DEPICTS THE SITUATION IN MY FIRM ALSO. THE ANNOYING PART IS THAT THE DIRECTORS REWARD YOU FOR LIKING YOU AND NOT FOR WHAT YOU DO. IT SEEMS THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE JOB.
AND YOUR MANAGERS WHO ARE SUPPOSE TO SPEAK UP FOR YOU KEEP MUM. THIS IS A REALLY ANNOYING SCENARIO FOR A DEDICATED WORKER ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU AID YOUR MANAGER ON ALOT OF HIS ASSIGNMENTS, NA GOD GO HELP MAN OOOO

@ hnd hOLDER
yoU TOO mUCH O. tHANKS FOR YOUR EDUCATIVE PIECE ON THIS THREAD. i AM A b.tECH HOLDER. hOWEVER i REALLY GET PISSED OFF WITH THE DISCRIMINATION FACED BY HND HOLDERS. I ACTUALLY THINK THAT THIS IS ALL BECAUSE OF SOME SORT OF SHORTSIGHTEDNESS AND MYOPIC REASONING OF THOSE IN AUTHORITIES OR EVEN OUR CIVIL FOLKS IN HAVING TO UTTERLY DISREGARD THE TECHNOLOGIST.
I BELIEVE IN CONCURRENT ENGINEERING WHERE EVERYONE CONTRIBUTES HIS PIECE TO A PROJECT.
MY BROTHER, I THINK WHAT WE ARE PRESENTLY FACING IS A FAULTY MINDSET ON EDUCATION. EDUCATION IS SEEN AS A MEANS FOR ACQUISITION OF 'PAPER CERTIFICATION OF SKILL', WHEREAS ACTUAL OBJECTIVE SHOULD BE ACQUISTION OF SKILL, WHILE THE CERTIFICATE IS A BYPRODUCT. WE REALLY NEED AN ATTITUDINAL AND FUNDAMENTAL RETHOUGHT ON OUR EDUCATION VALUES. THAT'S MY SUBMISSION
PoliticsRe: After A Weekend With Mosquitoes, Cecilia Ibru Collapses In Court by blesdman(m): 9:40pm On Sep 02, 2009
to me this whole affair is simply biased. I mean having to prosecute the MDs of the banks. Sanusi is unnecessarily heating up the bankingsystem.
Why haven't they arrested those former governors who had been looting this country. I see no reason why EFCC will just suddenly wake up and be making a mess of THESE PROFESSIONAL people.
Damn it! I am pissed off with this hypocrisy!!!

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Christians Celebrate Birthdays? by blesdman(m): 5:54pm On Aug 27, 2009
For one to think that Pharaoh celebrated a birthday and would thus take any one that celebrates a birthday ceremony as being paganic, really has an absurd thinking.
Ok. If celebration of birthdays by pagans makes it paganic then learning the sciences and being educated in the ways of Egypt as done by Moses and even Daniel in the case of Babylon made him a pagan as well. We have to think realistically and in the light of love. SOmetimes I really do think that those who castigate the practices of christians are just being legalistic not reading the spirit behind the letters but the letters only. Have they not heard that meditation brings out the spirit in the letters? All the reasons proffered by those who celebrate birthdays tend towards worship of God in the spirit;faith that he is and he is the one that prolongs life.
I think that these explanations should clarify the issue to an extent.
PoliticsRe: EFCC Freezes Accounts Of Sacked Bank MDs by blesdman(m): 8:30pm On Aug 26, 2009
EFCC that has been sleeping suddenly wakes and tries to persecute this MDs. i am not impressed at all.
The accounts of ex Govnors such as Odili that literally milked Rivers People with no tangible development are still at large with no accounts frozen. This MDs are being punished for incompetence ,at least, as we are made to know. I do not think that this is an economic crime. This is simply a knowledge issue and some regulatory lapses. This problems should be solved soonest and these MDs should not be so embarassed. They were working for the good of the nation.

Last year we heard of mega deals being brokered by these Banks and every one was applauding their assistance. Please these persecution should cease.

I really do have some funny feeling that Sanusi may not be right in the actions he is taking. I have really decided to take a 'sit don look' approach to these rambles. The picture should show up in a short 'full' while. Let's watch it.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Are Unemployed Graduates Up To? by blesdman(m): 6:10pm On Aug 26, 2009
I think that for unemployed graduates, they should think. Look at the environment and use the opportunties offered there at. I think there is an abundance of work even though there appears not be jobs available.
I suggest we should be thinking in terms of work and not jobs. Do work. This is actually a concept. FUrther questions and I will expatiate on this concept.
RomanceRe: Gf Material Vs Wife Material~ Guys Talk by blesdman(m): 2:04pm On Aug 26, 2009
Really a nice topic:
My personal view of a wife material are:
hospitable, good smile, homely, got brains and common sense, good in advice, good personal hygeinne, respectable and modest dress sense(not flouting precious), then of sound moral and spiritual background(christ-like).
While any trait can go for a girl friend material.

BusinessRe: Business Areas That Need Investment In Nigeria by blesdman(m): 11:24pm On Jul 25, 2009
The economic progress of any nation largely depends on the availability of electrical power. I am typing this post because I have power in my house.
Every one can read this ppost because they 've also got power in their houses.

The sale of electrical power can not be exhausted, market wise.
First, let the power industry be deregulated.
And let PHCN be decentralised into subregions. North, South south, South west, South East. Central. The essence of this arrangement is for investors to buy into the Nation's power infrastructure.
Let the power industry be run regionally so that the whole country doesn't have to suffer outages at one time.
This implies the setting up of about 50 companies to run this system. The role of the government should be to provide an enabling environment for the system to run efficiently and cost effectively for the benefit of all. YOu can also imagine the effect of this arrangement on the masses vis a vis employment opportunities.

Secondly, there is a threat of food scarcity in Nigeria. May I say that this is a dire situation if not checked early. It will amaze you that the Niger Delta may not be able to be assured of food security should there be no crude oil. Infact, it presently has the highest inflationary rate in terms of food products. This is an investment mine for those in the Niger Delta region. This is only a matter of thinking a good system to acquire lands and run your food production. Nigeria is blessed with good loamy soils especially in the Niger-Deltan region but I'm really amazed at the lact of industry among its folks. I Bet you this is a hot business area. Feed the whole Niger Delta region with cheap food and you will be a monopoly and principality.
I await your comments on this post while I prepare to proffer more ideas.
