I have known her for 3yrs+ and she's been wonderful to me.

Last year October she got pregnant for me and told me about it but I insisted since she's still in her 3rd yr in school she should get the baby out but she refused. Her reason for refusing is that she's afraid of the consequences and so she decides to keep the baby but will not tell any of her parents until she's gives birth and possibly finish school.

She's 8 mnths gone now.

But yesterday, her mum was called by one of her supposed friends and was told that her daughter is 8mths pregy.

The mum called her and asked her but she denied it. But on further persuasion and having seen that the mum will confront the girl that told her, she decided to open up to mum.

When asked, she told the mum (who already knew me) that I was responsible. That means she was afraid the mum will disown her and her dad who stays in Germany Will abandon her if they had known.

The mum called me and said alot.

Up till then, the mum thought the daughter was in school. So she told her that she will be coming to visit her in school to know how she's doing. To which my girl agreed but on a second thought, she decided to open up and tell her mum that she's at my place.

The Mum disconnected the call.

This morning, her maternal uncle called me and asked I should bring her back to her mum.

I am sincerely fixed now.

Guys I genuinely need some advice
Because of the state of my mental health I have decided never to get married or have kids, I suffer from intense depression and anxiety and other mental health problems. I'm unsure of my own future talk more of a child.
I do love being in relationships but I do that only for companionship and sex.
I don't know if I will regret my decision. The guys I have dated have been cool with my no marriage proposal but I don't think any Nigerian man will not want kids.
I'm thinking of moving to another country, buy a house, take care of my community and neighbors then when I'm old, I will move to a retirement home.
If I change my mind I can adopt a child, am not against adoption as I am with marriage, it depends on if my mental health improves

The problem I have is that will I be lonely without a child, like I said I'm not into marriage despite being a woman trained in traditional home, it's not that I hate it or anything, it's not just for me. I will be unhappy being married.

I have a friend, who wanted to have only 4 kids. He's now counting six and will count more because he has refused to have a male child.

When the wife gave birth to the fifth child, then my friend was very anxious to having a male child. But as soon as the news got to him that his wife gave birth to another female child, he send a message to his wife at the hospital not to come to his house with the child. He said his wife has a curse on her, that is why she refused to give birth to a male child. We had to beg him before he allowed his wife home.

The issure now is that his wife just gave birth to the sixth child again today, and another female child. He his just very confused right now.

He just told me now that people says the fault his not from her wife but rather on his side. And he want me to help him on what the problem is.

Your friend produces mostly female sperm cells than male. Same applies for men whose wives jeep having only boys. The only vway to be certain it will be a male is through IVF, sex selection.

Good morning Nairalanders. I have an issue that has been disturbing for long.
So I met a lady two years back and we got talking. However, our communication was mostly restricted to online greetings.

December, 2021, we decided to take things to the next level by meeting physically. We study in the same school, so we met at a designated place. After our first meeting, things started moving fast and we became more connected.

Early this year, I decided to ask the girl out one faithful Saturday morning and her response was that she was in a relationship.

So I left her alone. The issue is this girl bonds with me so well and will often send me messages that she misses me anytime I decide to forget her for some days.

Last month, we all left school and were back home and our bonding became very strong again - we stay in the same city.

She invited me to her church twice and I honored her invitations. On her birthday, I asked her what her plans are and whether her bf is taking her out (jokingly) and her response was, 'which bf?'.

We went ahead to plan a meet up in a restaurant on her birthday but unfortunately something came up and I could not make it, so I sent her some cash to compensate.

*My issues with the lady.*

1. When I send her text on WhatsApp, sometimes it would take her 24 hrs to reply even when she's online. And she will find some flimsy excuses to make. She will even post on her status while my message is delivered but not read or replied.

2. She earlier told me she had a boyfriend, so I don't want to bring any relationship stuff again between us. But it seems she want me to ask her out again.

3. This girl bills me like no tomorrow. Whenever she has any minor issue she will pick phone and call me.

So honestly I'm fed up with her character and I have made up my mind not to talk to her again.

I had a sachet of Hypo and a sachet of Hypo Toilet Cleaner ... The chemical composition of Hypo is Sodium Hypochlorite (NaCLO) ... And the composition of Hypo Toilet Cleaner is Hydrochloric acid (HCL) ...

I'm not a genius... But when you mix both, the gas Chlorine is realesed... Which is poisonous...

I did that... And waited... While Hypo is a colourless liquid... Hypo Toilet Cleaner is a thick green liquid... The mix was a white... With a gas (I mixed them in a transparent plastic bottle)...

At some point, I decided to open the bottle and smell the gas to test if it was chlorine... And it literally knocked me off my feet! It made my eyes water and I kept on coughing... For hours... It was horrible, I thought I had damaged my lungs! I slept thinking that night was would be my last...

But I recovered!

Ps...Chlorine gas ain't no good way to murder an ex...

200l student if not for the ASUU strike she would have already been in her 300l first semester

I like her alot ASUU has separated her from me for months now she just resumed from the Christmas break and returned to school February, few weeks later ASUU began their strike and I feel we need to see more considering the fact assu is still extending the strike for extra 3months.
And going to see her in her state is way costlier. Unlike if she decide to come to Benin to see me, she stays in Lagos and I have no where to stay than hotel, if I go to see her in lagos..... although she is the only child but for her age I believe her parent's should give her more freedom she would be 20 next month

I think you are ready to get married and have kids. You better calm down and go and learn something during this strike. Advice her to do the same. Thank God for WhatsApp, audio and video calls. In our days it wasn't easy during strike but we survived.
