Only the good relationship between OBJ and PMB is still keeping Ms Adeosun there. Wonder what is keeping Emefiele there angry

I wonder why they will be proposing a higher benchmark price for oil and the production numbers after what they've suffered. They even had the audacity to use N290 to the dollar because that clueless governor told them it would stabilize ....are they all madt ni?

They're still bragging over the release of N400billion .....who dat amount don epp? Anyway GEJ didn't do any better <for those who may want to point that out here>. He virtually killed the economy. How can you rebase your economy to be the largest in the whole of Africa? Is this not the purview of independent bodies like IMF and World Bank? Now you go around telling the world you are rich or have rich economic prospect ....who will borrow you money on that note?
No you are wrong on the economy rebate. It portrays Nigeria as a big market. A good destination for good returns.

After wasting an entire year doing nothing this government wants to start next year budget. How about implementing 2016 budget?

Really funny, they are big boys in debt. The biased and corrupt judicial system eat from their pockets certainly, they won't want to be in their red book. Rubbish!
There is nothing wrong to borrow. As a matter of fact, debt is cheaper than equity. However, the issue is repayment, but in a recession like this it will be difficult to pay. Also, the cost of debt in this country is annoyingly high for reasons one cannot understand. Imaging Emefiele increasing MPR to 14%.

This government is insensitive

As the president is frustrated with the judiciary impeding the anti corruption process that is how Nigerians are angry with Buhari for frustrating the economy.

Government has sucked up all the money in the economy and it is not spending. Unfortunately our economy is public sector dependent. Now we are suffering because we elected CHANGE.

I am terribly unhappy because I supported him and it is an unfortunate situation. We are almost at the end of 2016, no tangible economic activity ongoing in the country. Everywhere is extremely tight. What kind of government is this?

I am surprised at Wike's statement. This is a serious allegation and the militants were consistent with their claims. I think Wike should have addressed the question from a view point of surprise and doubt rather than being aggressive.
Politics › Re: Nigeria To Approve $180m More For Capital Spending –adeosun by Boss13: 9:37am On Aug 20, 2016
Ok not a bad idea changing our debt portfolio and extended the average tenure period. A 40 percent of foreign debt portfolio is not bad. However, we are approaching the last quarter of the year and I wonder if these borrowings are for 2016 fiscal year or 2017?

2016 is almost over. What achievements will this administration claim for 2016?

On the other hand, the FG should harmonized the tax laws we have and sensitize Nigerians. Many Nigerians are oblivious of the tax laws and what taxes they should pay. Also, since the FG is intensifying its tax collection process, it should be mindful that there are multiple taxes being paid in this country. The aim is to increase revenue based and not kill businesses.

We are in a recession. Aggressive tax collection can discourage investment and kill businesses

You guys are joking right?

All what we experiencing now, is as a result of the damages done by previous governments, but people are too emotional and irrational to think.
How do you want people to think when they are hungry? You need food for the brain to think and right now there is hunger in Nigeria.

Rationalization should be the last thing.

Even the useless Sports Minister also Blamed PDP for poor Olympic preparation and the defeat to Germany in the Rio Olympic men football

APC knew very well they were never ready for leadership

they only tried and won
Spot on! APC was never ready for leadership. They concentrated and expended their energy and thought process in winning the election.

The election is over and the reality is starring at them. Nigeria needs strong leadership to moves us forward. We have a conservative president, who is not in tune with the realities of times.

Leading Nigeria with a 1969 ideology will certainly not work for a dynamic Nigeria in a millennia era. This is not the CHANGE we anticipated.
Politics › Re: PDP Responds To Oyegun's Statement‎: "We Handed Over A Better Nigeria To Buhari" by Boss13: 9:16am On Aug 20, 2016
Wow this is a resounding response that is clearly factual. I am afraid but to admit to the facts being presented.

From the empirical evidences, it shows that PDP is more progressive and APC is a Conservative party that refuses to spend and boost the economy.

Despite the massive looting and corruption attributed to the PDP, the party changed many Nigerian lives. APC, on the other hand, is distributing hardship to Nigerians

Politics › Re: Failed Naira: Your Advice For The Federal Government by Boss13: 11:17am On Aug 17, 2016
SUPERPACK:
it will solve it. currently the naira is falling due to its scarcity as a result dwindling export profit as a result of global crude oil price slump, coupled with pipeline vandalization by the NDA, meaning that we earn just 20% of our previous profit. Nw an increase in agricultural exportation will increase our foreign earning since they will pay us in dollars when they buy our product and this in will make dollars available to the importers and effectively crash the demanding cost of dollars.
.
HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND.
Who is the US you are referring to here? Don't expect government to be involve in agriculture. It is the mess of getting themselves involved in oil production that is creating this problem for us.

Anything Nigerian government touches turn bad

Christianity Etc › Re: Did David Really Killed Lions And Bears? These Animals Arent In Israel! by Boss13: 4:57pm On Aug 14, 2016
lionness:
I was in church today and was verse of the Bible was quoted by my pastor: 1 Samuel 17:36 ► "Your servant has struck down both lions and bears, and this uncircumcised Philistine (Goliath) shall be like one of them, for he has defied the armies of the living God.”

This statement bothered me because I did my masters in the UK in Zoology, and distinctly remembered learning that Lions are mainly found in Africa, and a tiny species in only India. The rest are found in zoos. Now could a lion be in Israel? And then, the word "Bears" also confused me. There are different types of bears in Asia, and I learn years ago that they are called Asian black bears, and they are only found in a different topography of Asia, and never in the Middle East, and the Asian Black Bears only feed on fruits, grasses, and insects, and could have never been a treat to David sheep. And these bears are only found in China, Bangladesh, and Russia, and they are the size of Pandas.

I dont often question the teachings of the Bible, but this gross discrepancy got me confused. And please dont tell me I dont have faith, my entire families are Christian, and my own father was the pastor who quoted this verse this morning while preaching in his church. I need an explanation.
Your last quote is hilarious. When you put the stories in the bible to the test, you find huge discrepancies. Science has been doing it for years. Don't worry, you are only experiencing a refining moment

Moses only saw God's infinity past. He did not see God in the physical. This is the reason he was able to write the book of the beginning (Genesis) through inspirational revelation which occurred before his (Moses) existence.
Who told you Moses wrote Genesis? Why make such claims when you have no emprically evidence to support your claim?

Johnpaul1099:
Calvary greeting to everyone. Am writing this report in respect to so many cases that has been springing up since a new provincial pastor was brought to RCCG Lagos province 31 Named Pastor Olukanmi. Since the pastor was transferred to the province, He has been the no 1 Headache of the church, Several report has been made to his superiors but no action has so far been taken..List of some things that he has done
1. he has been cancelling every program brought by various units of the church. the only program that takes place in the church are programs drawn by him and him alone.
2. He publicly insult His pastors, workers and members of the church and chase then away from the premises of the head quarter where he worships...
3. The youth sunday order given by daddy G.O was cancelled by him for no reason so the youth in the church are not functioning again.
4. he doesn't allow anyone who is not a worker in redeem participate in anything.
5. He gives orders which are evil of a pastor
(i) There was a case of him telling the redeemed volunteers to go into the church and seize all the phones of members that are charging as a result of the poor power supply of the country, and this order was given without public annoucement, this order from Pastor Olukanmi therefore led to a fight withing the church premises amongst members and the redeemed volunteers whose phones were taken away by the redeemed volunteers. The fight lasted for hours and Pastor Olukanmi felt less concerned about the issue and went away.
(ii)This is a pastor who tasked his workers and pastors by given them envelope for them to give him a birthday present.
(iii)He has tied the hands of the youth in the church by removing anything that has to do with the youth from the church.
This Is only to mention but a few of what he has been doing, this report came up as a result of how a mighty provincial Headquarters (LP 31) has started crumbling and reducing all as a result of Pastor Olukanmi.
If this issue is not handled properly by Heads of the Redeemed Christian church of God, am sorry the Pastor might help in tarnishing the image of RCCG as a whole which the pastor has already done in the Locality of the Province.
We Are Tired!!!!!!!!!
Daddy G.O please do something Deliver and Help our province , so we can experience growth.

Why don't you just leave the church and save yourself the trouble including this one, posting your church issues on a forum

Honestly I have no intentions of arguing this with anyone.
Its as stupid as a kid telling you that he's a helicopter and ur response is "hey good for you kid".
Christians are similar to those kids.
Imagine an adult believing that a sort of food called manna once fell from heaven ad that a man turned water into wine and was equally born without sex.
Where do I even begin .
Religion is just plain stupidity.
That reminds me. Manna might probably be snow. If I remember bible stories correctly. Manna was white

Christianity Etc › Re: She Refuses To Change Her Church For A Second Time by Boss13: 10:55am On Aug 14, 2016
I just finished watching a documentary on Netflix about a Waren Bent, a delusional man who claimed he was the messiah and succeeded in deluding over 50 people in the name of Christianity. He slept with his son's wife and 6 other members' wives and not just once. This was a deliberate and consistent consummation and the women were okay with it. Clear manipulation.

The good news is that the serial manipulator is in prison. Thank God for america justice system. In Nigeria, we have many of them roaming the streets and manipulating gullible people. The other time, a man decided to be an authority on marital issues and started giving conditions on whom people should marry.

People should leave churches and seek God for themselves and worship it privately.
Business › Re: We Took The Best Economic Decision- Emefiele by Boss13: 7:29am On Aug 14, 2016
Emefiele is a joker and I hope he is reading this. He talks about diversification; how will diversification come to play when the interest rate in this country is extremely high. Currently only about 0.05% of the Nigerian population is creating jobs. Who is going to diversify the economy - Dangotehuh Emefiele, in a recession, you reduce interest rate and not increase interest rate. You should put enormous pressure on Bank CEOs to start lending to start-ups. Enough of the currency trading and bond purchase practice of Banks, there should be real lending to support our economy. The profitability of Banks should be seen and felt in the economy. Banks should not grow without any economic growth.

I am surprised at the Sun and I do not understand their motive. It is either the journalist does not understand market fundamentals , which automatically puts him at a disadvantage to write this story, or he is just being mischievous.

The Nigerian Custom is only trying to collect its revenue based on the interbank rate of N312 per dollar. That is why is was hiked. Most of the imported goods are charged in dollars using the prevailing market rate i.e interbank rate
