Thank God Buhari didn't fall for Fashola's gimmick. How would another lawyer solve power issues in this country. Fashola was a mistake made yet he wants to bring in another mistake. See how selfish these people are |
Bluetooth2:Who do you think contaminated the evidences in the first place? |
haibe:Laughs. They certainly don't. Do not be discouraged, you will learn a lot from the RAP. Get a good and experienced mentor, that is your first stage of passing. |
This is some serious concern. The CBN still remains the primary supplier of foreign exchange. Well, it should be so because there is recession in the country. General Demand for goods and services has dropped. |
Obasanjo - Nigerian's best president so far. His achievements still remains unprecedented and yet to be matched. |
I am afraid to say that the president has put Northern interest above the Nigerian interest. This has clearly invalidate his inauguration speech of "I belong to no one". Clearly, from the president action, body language and appointments, he belongs to the North. |
Is this man called Fayose still talking when his comrade, Omisore, has entered a plea bargain with EFCC. It seems the immunity Fayose enjoys has driven him insane. |
I think I am beginning to admire the new PDP chairman. There is wisdom in what he has said. Rather than insult, provide alternative solutions. Clearly, that's positions you better than the general public without the knowledge. Another point is, it becomes a norm if we continue to insult our leaders rather than being constructive and productive. |
It appears that the PDP intend to get their house ready for 2019 and Markarfi surely seems like the man to do the job. He has also raised vital points such as probing those who authorized the disbursement of treasury funds for political campaigns. Certainly, some religious leaders partook of the funds and I'm surprised that not one of them have been questioned to return the money. |
I knew it would come to this. Fashola the propangandist. Exploiting the media to seek sympathy from gullible Nigerians. Here is a man who boasted about solving Nigeria's power issue. I had concerns over his appointment because what is a lawyer doing in a field meant for engineers! Fashola has done a perfect job to elucidate Nigeria's power issue and little on how to solve it and when to solve it. When Prof Barth Nnaji was there, he did not run his mouth like Fashola, he fought till the wicked interest group took him out, but we saw some impact. Fashola leave the media alone and face the job. Clearly from your stories, we should give up on steady power supply throughout Buhari's tenure. Please note that it would be a huge failure on your part and that of Buhari if such situation happens |
It took Bank this long to respond after the reputation all damage has been done. Shame Zenith Bank |
I saw this news this morning and shook my head for this country. I seriously doubt that inflation is 17 percent, it is probably around 20 - 30 percent. We are in recession and it appears that our President and his team are unaware of this and the consequences. Our President made some mistakes or in another word, hard choices. I believe they did not take into consideration the effect fuel subsidy removal and declining oil prices. They also did not know how bad our import dependent economy is and the extent of external reserves depletion. |
The country is ridicule in shame |
Anything herbal in this country scares me based on my experience with herbal toothpaste, I can't remember the name but I hardly see it in the market. I started out using this herbal toothpaste and suddenly started seeing huge black spot around my mouth region, started as pink, then turn black. I didn't know what I was reacting to. I thought it was the cream I was using. I stopped the cream, but the black spot was increasing and very observable. People started asking me what is wrong with my face. I rushed to see a dermatologist consultant at Unilag teaching hospital. On sighting me, the doctor asked me what toothpaste was I using and I told him. She got interested. Happened that I was not the only person reacting to the toothpaste and she has been gathering evidence to report the manufacturers. She took pictures of me, explaining my situation to the students understudying her, which was very embarrassing. She advised me to discard the toothpaste and gave me drugs and I am grateful. Another thing to note is that, we have a terrible quality control system in this country. SON is a terrible organization not doing its job. My best advise is people should see a specialist for Heath issues and stop testing out drugs especially herbal drugs. @OP I am not trying to bad mouth you or your business, but we need to be careful. |
herzern:That is treatment not a cure. |
President Buhari I agree with you, however, your extreme focus on anti-corruption is making you myopic to other facets or sectors that requires your urgent attention. I listened to the new UK prime minister, Theresa May, yesterday and even in the face of uncertainties awaiting Britian, she elucidated her strategy plans and areas of focus, highlighting the importance of job creation and economic revamp. On the other hand, Sir, you are yet to come up with a blueprint plan to get Nigeria out of its present recession. Companies are folding, jobs are being lost and industries are shrinking in sizes. Anti-corruption is not the only government policy, as a matter of fact, it is not a major government policy and with this I think you and your team have prioritized Nigeria's objectives wrongly. This is more than a year since you took oath of office and there is not clear cut plan, even the citizenry do not understand your administration. Also, in few months you would be in your 2nd year in office and all we hear is anti-corruption, however, it is comical to note that your anti-corruption crusade has not yield fruits, no conviction yet so far and obviously appears to be a failed project. My dear President, you have also made some mistakes in your appointments. Whilst, I am not ethnic biased or interested in the tribe of your appointees, I think it is necessary that square pegs and inserted in square holes. For instance, the appointment of Fashola, a lawyer, as minister of power, works and housing and Dr. Ngige, a medical doctor as minister for labour is a far cry and an anomaly. Hence, it is obvious while these ministers are not performing. In conclusion, Mr President, you must have a re-think on the Nigeria Project. There is still time at the moment to get back to the drawing board and implement successful policies that would forever make Nigerians remember you. |
The smart phone market is in its matured staged, except this investment is about creating a revolutionized phone, I don't see them stealing market share from Apple or Samsung |
When the news first broke, these legislators in the usual Nigerian way rushed to deny their involvement and even insulted the ambassador, who only wanted to inform the Speaker on issues he noticed. Unfortunately for them, the House of Assembly would not let the matter die down. Now, we shall know who has been saying the truth all along. |
Fayose even if you are a member of the APC, the President will still refuse to talk to you because you lack the manners and decorum to comport yourself. |
This is ridiculous. I wondered who advised the President against military force. This is what we are going to get and when we are done wasting time and resources to these criminal figures, we probably would realized that you do not negotiate with criminals |
@Poster you do not have the right to flog children and especially other people's children. It is expressly wrong. I do not think I can remember things I did when I was 9 - 12 months. Please, kids explore and want to know their environment. If I am a parent who child is in your creche, I would sue you crazily and that is after I have flogged you too. |
This is the denial that makes many men fail. I am shocked that Femi would make such claim and of recent I am disgusted with his behaviour and utterances. |
frankline5:How would he be loved by his people? A man who is yet to pay salaries. If this is true, then I wonder what kind of brains do Ekiti people have. Though in Nigeria, it is possible to have the strangest kind of reaction due to poverty and ignorance |
Maksen:Nigeria will obtain no healing if we continue to listen to these rhetorics and do nothing. We cannot be in a state of inertia and expect positive action. |
Mcowubaba:Well, let's just be honest about this. Manchester United, the biggest club in the United Kingdom and not just England, was entering into a decline stage. This was affecting its global brand, its fans and possibly its income. However, it takes an astute Board to understand future prospects in the face of uncertainties and marry it with history, something Arsenal FC needs to understand and should have implemented. Certainly, Man Utd is a great, great football club and has achieved a lot in the past. However, the past does not resurrect itself except success is a continuum. Jose Mourinho is a controversial coach, but he is also a winner and at the moment, Man United needs a winner to bring back the winning mentality that has been lost in three (3) years. He has exemplified his prowess as a successful coach by attracting talented players even without Champions League, a feat only a handful of coaches will achieve. I watched Man United last season with huge disbelief and regrets. At times, I indulged myself in other activities and if I had none I preferred sleeping. Mourinho has brought back HOPE and I have some Chelsea fans who are secretly decamping to Man United. These are exciting times for our great club. Man United and Mourinho are meant for each other. |
Mr President, this your statement sends cold chills down the spine of your critics. Please note that not everyone would support your policies whether they are good or bad, however, people are expected to express their opinion on how they feel. On the other hand, it is good you are now able to identify that the elites are self centered. You are the first president to truly speak on this. It is this self centered behaviour of the elites that has kept Nigeria in darkness. Please correct this impression. Thank you Mr. President |
HungerBAD:Your comment is devoid of proper logical construction and you would be amazed based on factual and empirical evidence that Obasanjo still remains the best president Nigeria has ever produced, despite his many ills and shortcomings. For a start, have you ever wonder why he earns so much respect in both local and international climes. Likewise, why International and African leaders come to him for advice? On an honest note, I was biased like you and do not want to read or listen to any of Obasanjo's statements till I began to do some research on him, his policies and his works. It may do you good if you follow likewise and broaden your knowledge base. I don't like Obasanjo, but I have huge respect for the man and his legacies. |
matrix199:That's is why they were sack. Their capital adequacy ratio is bad and non performing loans has exceeded the 5 percent threshold. Though, non bank has 5 percent non performing loan, but I think Skye's position must be bad |
satelliteDISH:Unfortunately, you may need to call him and ask him. I just checked and I could not see the label |
South Africa will be the first country to suffer. A lot of Africans will migrate there |
tbaba1234:Honestly, same thing FFK should do. Now, he cannot recover the lost time he has spent in prison just because he wants to be stubborn |
My opinion - I think this lawyer is a fraud and has decided to use this case to boost his popularity. Hr knows that this is a useless case, but decided to go with it because he intends to be famous and attract clients |
