This will be really helpful for those on Tier 4 dependant seeking to switch visas to Tier 4 (or other category) would be allowed, temporarily, to apply from within the UK, rather than having to apply by returning to Nigeria.

To me, it also interprets to as anyone on any kind of visa (even visitor but please double check this) can switch.

The annoying thing is they gave the most unhelpful example since Tier 4 to Tier 2 has always been allowed in-country.

Only if you are employed temp or perm for a max of 20 hours per week during term time. Now depends if the company allows remote working.

If you have scanned copies, just upload documents so as to at least attend interview.

Good day guys, please I have a very important question, I’ve already applied for my spouse visa, my partner sent the supporting documents (original marriage certificate and all) through Nipost 3 weeks ago but they’re yet to deliver it to me. I’m worried because my interview is on the first week of April, the Nipost official handle on Twitter tweeted that they will be closing down because of covid19 lockdown, my documents are with them, any possible way I can go about this? I can’t miss the interview because I’ve already used my option of moving the date. I’m all round messed up in the head.

Apparently visas will be extended to 31 May 2020. One just needs to email ukvi with details

If the university has approved and informed UKVI, as long as you graduate, no issues whatsoever.

All you need is to successfully complete your course and graduate.

Is change of course pre or post CAS?

Tier 4 Dependants cannot SWITCH to Tier 4 in the UK but can switch on any other type of visa.
He should make further inquiries

My brother inlaw is a Tier 4 dependant and he has gotten his admission for his MSC......
And i'm very certain he's not planning to come to Nigeria for his application. He plans to only make a SWITCH

Tier 4 to Tier 4 in-country application is definitely allowed.

Tier 4 dependant to Tier 4 requires her to leave the country and apply from naija.

This may be like comparing apples and oranges, but I know a tier-4 student who completed an MSc, then while still in the UK, she applied for ANOTHER tier-4 in-country, without having to travel.

Maybe your friend could research and see if it’s possible?

Yes, Tier 4 students can switch to spousal at any time even before their current permission to stay in the UK expires. She doesn't have to visit naija at all to switch

Like fiancial requirment. However, the wife decides to apply and come to the UK as student visa studying while his spouse meets the financial requirement. if the spouse meets the spouse visa requirements, can the wife switch from student to spouse visa if she meets the requirements? Will she need to go bk to Nigeria and apply since the registry was done in Nigeria or she will apply in the uk? I will appreciate responses, advice and suggestions. Thank you all.
