Erm Jonny, as far as I know the bible supports divorce in the case of adultery. I don't know about the bible supporting divorce when things get worse.

On the other hand I think potential spouses should determine their vows and change the narrative to suit them. Instead of repeating a vow created by someone from thousands of years ago.
