hemartins:and IF ur money is not complete nko? U will slap the machine? Report to those behind you? Uproot the machine? |
dynicks:sharp? Sharp as how? Robbery is sharpness Are u a robber? |
Cars, houses, success will not matter if peace is taken out of the body. Only those suffering health conditions common and uncommon can understand this statement. Health is wealth indeed. Welldone OP. Do follow www.yourhealthattitude.com for great health posts. |
Homeboiy:wee u keep kwayet! Just be thinking along one straight line like that's how life is, you just don't know what is called life and what's going on out there! It's people like you that make women jump into worse situations and jump out because u put a name and tag on things. So every woman hitting 30 and unmarried is because she is looking for rich man. Rewire ur thinking. |
Reference:Valid Valid points! But then there are parents who have done right by themselves and their kids to raise them well, how do u speak for the parents then, when against all goodness said kids still go astray. |
Dear Council, come out and address the allegations against that son. The sultan is respected this is a stain to his name. God knows if I have a child I raised well that chose to go astray, I will rat them out! Nansense! |
gypsey:your response already tells me the level of reasoning you are at. No matter how I try you just won't catch up. So keep wallowing in that style and line of reasoning! |
CsRockefeller:well said, leaving in itself gives you power. There is special place in hell for bad bosses because it takes nothing to be kind. |
gypsey:shatap! All you people can think about is sex sex sex! Wonder if you would think same if that were your sister, daughter or mother. |
gypsey:Why does every body these days only think in terms of sex? Abeg let me ask u. So if u were there, as a normal human being with their full thinking faculties. You will watch the battering of another human being happening before you? What if the lady in question was say ur sister and you happen to work together, would you still mind your business and say she must be sleeping with the boss? Oya let's say the man beat her finish and she die, police comman carry all of you, after you go to court and them jail, or only oga goes to jail, will you still have a job? A job or a boss is not a god! This man just did what his human self told him was right! Men shaming women assuming all of them are sleeping with men anyhow! The lady might just be a helpless worker. Some people seem to have no idea how useless some Naija bosses are! |
Gratefulheart1:We have messed up ladies because men have refused to raise their standards, men lead. Who are the fathers, brothers, boyfriends, husbnds, bosses to these said women you call sluts and objects? I will keep saying that, men lead! when we have better men we will have better woman. For the information of all those saying bla bla like did she leave too? They might be in a relationship, he should have mind his business, these are also all MEN with loose morals and brain. He didn't do it because he was forming heroe, he did what was right by himself and another person. People with high principles and values will leave a job for reasons like this even without another at hand, but actions like that cannot be understood by people who think a job or a boss is a God. Reading some comments just makes one know how people think. Messed up values leads to wrong actions and decision. Get out of a job where the boss is abusive verbally or physically, or not paying you at the right time. Have some dignity and go find yourself something better out there. I am a woman, yes. I would also resign if I witness such after I stone the boss pure water. I am working my way to where I want to be with dignity. I speak for women of dignity! My quote wasn't to attack you either! Peace out! |
Who wrote this crap, she was found by her mother, bla bla bla! Post lacks substance |
First aid refers to help given to a sick or injured person pending more professional medical treatment. Beneath are stories from around the world on moments first aid saved a life. With simple objects, simple skills of first aid, and sometimes medications that were handy, people were able to save their loved ones, friends, complete strangers or themselves from passing on to the great beyond. Here is a compilation from your health attitude, bringing you moments first aid saved a life. Nigerian woman recounts how a handy medication saved her from food poisoning. This story is exactly as shared on whatsapp by the narrator. “I COULD HAVE DIED ON MY WAY TO DUBAI few days ago but God used my elder brother(a pharmacist) to save my life. I became very busy few days to my trip. In fact, I was so busy to the extent of not bn active @EGS. I guess that was the reason I prepared watermelon 24 hours before I left Nigeria for Dubai. I kept the watermelon in the fridge overnight but there was no regular electricity to power the refrigerator. The watermelon was to be my lunch at the airport. The fruit was in good condition when I left home for the airport. I got to the airport, checked in and sat somewhere to eat my lunch. The trouble started few hours after the plane took off. I became uncomfortable. My stomach was very hot and I got the first symptom of food poisoning. I checked my bag several times for flagyl (metronidazole) but couldn’t find it. My elder brother who is a pharmacist told me several years ago that I must never leave my house without metronidazole especially when travelling because food poisoning can happen anytime and it kills faster than anything. He told me metronidazole (flagyl) is the most important thing after taking my international passport. We lost a Nigeria minister to food poisoning on his way back to the country sometimes ago. A friend lost her husband to food poisoning when he went for Hajj so I know how important a medication that is cheaper than 500 naira can save a soul. I became very worried when I couldn’t find the flagyl. I started asking the cabin crew for water but the problem became deadlier per second. I told them I needed a medication to fight food poisoning but they had none. I started stooling and the urge to throw up became very strong. I was on my way back to the rest room when I lost my balance. I fell down, was farting uncontrollably and needed to use the toilet. I couldn’t stand up. They had to place me on oxygen. That was when I remember that whenever I’m looking for something and couldn’t find it, all I need to do is to ask the Holy Spirit for help. So I said “Holy Spirit,my great companion, my senior friend,Please help me find my flagyl, I’m sure I left home with it”,,,,in less than 2 mins, I was made to remember vividly how and when I kept the flagyl in my bag, so I started shouting and begging the cabin crew to,,,,PLEASE, GET ME MY BAG which they did. I asked one of them to turn the bag upside down and to the glory of God the flagyl was there on the floor. I quickly asked for water and took 800mg of metronidazole instead of 400mg. It works like magic. The storm calmed and the battle was over in less than 15mins. I made sure I didn’t eat anything till I got to my destination. It was a day I won’t forget in a hurry. I have bn in London for 2 days now,,,,, and i still find it difficult to use toilet because I took an overdose of metronidazole. I will have to take cucumber throughout today to take care of constipation. Dear friends, Please, make sure you have flagyl with you whenever you’re travelling to anywhere. Food poisoning kills faster than you can ever think or imagine. It doesn’t have to be watermelon, it could rice, beans, biscuits or any contaminated food. None of us shall die young lase Edunmare. Ajomadandaleni THANK YOU LORD for saving my life. To you alone be the glory” Moral of this story is that we must learn what useful medications to have handy, which can serve as our first aid in similarly dangerous situations as recounted here. Mum Kristy Arnold’s CPR course a real lifesaver for son Luca WHEN Kristy Arnold’s one-year-old son Luca stopped breathing after choking on a biscuit, she had just seconds to act. Springing into action, Ms Arnold used the skills learnt in a CPR course to save her little boy’s life. But only an estimated 50 per cent of parents have had the CPR training necessary to know how to act decisively in a life-threatening situation. “Luca was blue in the face and he wasn’t breathing. Three minutes down the road to the hospital is a long time when you aren’t breathing,” she said. “I knew to do a backblow – which had to be quite hard – and in my eyes it saved a real emergency happening.” Ms Arnold, who took her life saving class while 38 weeks pregnant, believes all parents should undertake the 2.5 hours of training. https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/mum-kristy-arnolds-cpr-course-a-real-lifesaver-for-son-luca/news-story/4b0899c33b1d6e17b4491840e3a1e268 This event occurred in 2013 DID YOU KNOW? – Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique useful in many emergencies, including a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped. Teen saves Life of Woman who Saved Him Call it a simple twist of fate — times two: A teenager in western New York state has saved the life of the same woman who years ago saved his life. Seven years ago, Kevin Stephan of Lancaster, N.Y., was a bat boy for his younger brother’s Little League baseball team. A player who was warming up accidentally hit him in the chest with a bat. Kevin’s heart stopped beating. “All I remember is that I dropped the bat off, and all of a sudden just got hit in the chest with something, and I turned around and passed out,” Stephan said. Fortunately, a nurse whose son played on that team was able to revive him and save his life. “I started CPR on him and he came back,” Penny Brown said. Stephan’s mother said he was extremely fortunate. Brown was supposed to be at work that night, but was given the day off at the last minute. Now comes the really interesting part. Last week that same nurse was eating at the Hillview Restaurant in Depew, N.Y., when she began to choke on her food. Witnesses say patrons were screaming for someone to help her. “The food wasn’t going anywhere and I totally couldn’t breathe,” Penny said. “It was very frightening.” Doing the Heimlich Restaurant employees yelled for Stephan to come out and help. “They knew I was a volunteer firefighter and they called me over and I did the Heimlich, and I guess you could say I saved Mrs. Brown,” Stephan said. At the restaurant, they realized the amazing twist of fate they had just witnessed. Seven years ago, Brown had saved Stephan’s life. Now at age 17, he had returned the favor. “It’s almost unbelievable,” said Stephan, who is also an Eagle Scout. “The fact that it has been two individuals, that you know, helped each other out in a pretty dire situation, it’s pretty extraordinary,” Brown said. On Saturday, the two met again at the Bowmansville, N.Y., Fire Hall where Stephan is a junior firefighter. He presented her with a bouquet of flowers, and his parents were also there to greet Brown. http://www.nbcnews.com/id/11190559/ns/us_news-weird_news/t/teen-saves-life-woman-who-saved-him/ This event occurred in 2006 DID YOU KNOW? – Abdominal thrusts is a first aid procedure used to treat upper airway obstructions by foreign objects. The term Heimlich maneuver is named after Dr. Henry Heimlich, who first described it in 1974. – wikipedia Teresa Search saves a life When Teresa Search attended a St John first aid refresher course, she had no idea that she’d be using her skills to save a life within a couple of days. “Our tutor prepared us so the skills we learnt could be used in the real world. At the end of the training he asked us to keep in touch and give him feedback when we used them,” Teresa recalls. Forty-eight hours after the course, her skills were tested. While on night duty at her workplace, the Petone Working Men’s Club, a club patron collapsed in cardiac arrest. “Luckily I saw him go down and I was at his side very quickly. Everything that I had just re-learned amazingly came to mind in an instant.” Teresa quickly assessed the situation. There were no signs of life, so she turned him on his back, told a staff member to get the club’s defibrillator.and asked another bystander to call an ambulance. The Petone Working Men’s Club had purchased an automatic external defibrillator (AED) several years ago from St John, in an effort to help staff and patrons in exactly this type of situation. “A committee member and I started CPR. Once the defibrillator arrived, another first aider hooked it up while we kept going,” Teresa remembers. When the AED was positioned and ready to treat the patient, two shocks were administered. The man showed some signs of life, but was unable to maintain adequate breathing. Teresa continued with resuscitation breathing until the Fire Service and an ambulance arrived. Teresa estimates an ambulance crew spent a further 30 to 40 minutes stabilising the patient before he was able to be transported to hospital. “I called the hospital early the following morning and was relieved to be told that he was doing okay and that his name was Graham. The nurse put him on the phone to talk to me. He told me that it was a lovely day to be alive. Hearing his voice was incredible.” While Graham’s recovery is ongoing, following a quintuple bypass, Teresa’s confidence in dealing with first aid scenario’s has grown. Teresa shared her story with on Television One’s current affairs programme. During the story she was reunited with Graham and her first aid mentor James. https://www.stjohn.org.nz/First-Aid/First-Aid-Course-Information/Case-Study/ Sam’s story Sam Hilton was walking home from work on a wet and rainy evening when she spotted a man lying in the road. “I was quite nervous about going over as it was quite late and it was winter, so it was dark,” she said. But Sam knew she had to check if the man was okay. “I went over and said, ‘You all right, mate?’ When I got no response, I knew something was wrong and that I had to call an ambulance and help.” Closer-up, Sam recognised the man as one of her neighbours. It looked like he’d fallen over on the wet leaves covering the pavement. Remembering the first aid she’d learnt at work, Sam acted immediately. “I knelt down beside him and shook him by the shoulder to see if he’d respond but he didn’t,” Sam said. “I could see he was breathing, so I rolled him on his side and tilted his head back.” “I could see blood coming from the back of his head. I didn’t know how big the cut was because of his hair but it was still bleeding and I could see the blood dripping down. “I took off my hoody and used it to put pressure on the wound.” While waiting for the ambulance, the man came around. Sam gently explained who she was, what had happened and that an ambulance was on its way. It arrived soon after. “The paramedics thanked me for what I’d done and took him off to hospital.” When the man later came out of hospital, he came round to Sam’s house to thank her for what she’d done. “He got me a new hoody to thank me,” Sam said, to replace the one she’d used to stem the bleed on the man’s head. First aid scenario: heavy bleeding Item used: a hoody http://blogs.redcross.org.uk/first-aid/2017/12/three-real-life-first-aid-stories-ordinary-items-saved-day/ Known and unknown events. tstx:Abeg those wey trailer go jam for beer parlour or them house nko. Just have the wisdom to understand that death is inevitable and could happen anywhere and any moment. Nothing in life is certain. |
Its called whoring around joor! Sex is cheap and yet they all want true luf! |
Elder001:Oh Lord! What did this guy just say. How loose are you to be thinking like this. Why is the person an ex in the first place. Sex has become so cheap and abused... the abnormal is now normal. abeg let people sound like kids, its better. If u can't resist, u already have a problem in ur life. Infidelity now a norm, no descipline in anything again. I just cnt believe someone typed this poo. |
Gosh... the tone of the post is sickening. You are doing the woman a favour tone, by even getting married to her. It should be a union of love and understanding, which one be she shdnt bring another's man child to me in my house, same womb that held that child held all of urs too, ur kids are siblings to this child. you should have even accepted the child fess then come and ask us what shd be ur ground rules. Nansense! Why shd u care what the kid becomes tomorrow like some are saying, can't u just take care of the child just because... Stop talking like u own the mother a did her a favour marrying her... I dnt blame you sha, its all these ladies that wnt hear u shdnt be opening leg anyhow, sex has become cheap and abused... the result? Poor kids like this, tossed around, she already knows who rejected her and she will never forget... poor child. |
Dee60:What... see, it matters not if its just 2weeks... employer shd be thinking ahead of how to pay a Worker, on the date payment shd be made, you never let money join you and anyone... choi! do u know the pain of being owed money? |
Oblongata:Awww... my heart goes out to u! Assist me with the former Oga's name let me help you in swearing for him. I hate cheating and oppression. |
jabolo:Hmm... with due respect, I did not copy and paste. Read, retain and research not an assumption you should make that I don't practice all because your own research which you choose to believe says otherwise. I am sure you can see my blog has no adverts, so I have real reasons I write in health, not to just come up with any content to get a crowd. Talking about placebos, that's ur thinking, but then its my body, my observations, I listen to it, if many more people did this too, they'll probably save themselves a lot of challenges. I am pretty sure the post isn't forcing anyone to do what it says. Keep or leave the microwave, we make choices and decisions everyday. |
otswag:In what way was I confrontational? Facts can also be what I personally experience, which then stands as true to me. Nor be so? we can both see the number 69 and call it 9 or 6 depending on where who is standing. so who would be wrong? |
jabolo:well I wrote the post and own the blog, thanks for rebroadcasting my disclaimer, whatever ur intentions may be. I don't just write out of the blues, if anything else, I am certain of my observation that my health condition worsens when I consume microwaved meals, hence writing this post. Our bodies react differently to things, especially those dealing with immune system related illnesses. But then let everyone chose what stands as truth to them personally. |
otswag:More reliable sources prove your points wrong, you didn't cite ur sources. |
NovaCare:Thanks. We hope some people will take heed! |
It’s a fast paced world. We want everything done as soon as possible, even a slow internet can become nerve wrecking, or the software that’s freezing our computers for just a few seconds, we are in a generation of instant gratification and this includes what we eat and how we eat our food. Some years back, microwave was banned in my home. I never really researched deep beyond finding it was said to be harmful, but over time I have learnt the “whys” about the microwave and being a patient of a severe inflammatory condition, I found that in recent times when I defiled what I know about the microwave and ate microwaved meals, my condition escalated, and the only odd thing out was how I was warming the food I ate. So here is a good read for you on the dangers of the microwave in your home. If you already knew but waved it aside, you might have stronger reasons to reconsider after reading this post. MICROWAVES EMIT A FORM OF ELECTRO-MAGNETIC FIELD s the name suggests, the Microwave uses “microwaves” to heat your food, the waves are a form of electromagnetic field (EMF) generated by a magnetron, which vibrate at a very high speed. The effect of this on your food is that the structure of cells and molecules in your food are being altered abnormally, making your food more harmful than actually nutritious, because food structure becomes deformed. Conventional heating of food is more gentle on your food, as heating is gradual and also heat is transferred from outside to inside. MICROWAVE ENERGY SPREADS THROUGH YOUR HOME AND THROUGH YOU The “waves” from your Microwaves do not stay and remain contained inside your oven. This means that as you switch on your oven the electromagnetic field (EMF) generated travels through your home, and through you. If you are not able to comprehend the implication of this, read the words below. “In May 2011 the World Health Organization officially classified this type of EMF exposure as a class 2B possible carcinogen.” “Exposures of just 4 milligauss have been firmly linked to leukemia. Not surprisingly these magnetic fields have also been categorized as carcinogenic.” Yet we wonder why Cancer has been on the rise even when people have no history of it in their family. We can become vulnerable based on what we expose ourselves to. WE ARE MORE VULNERABLE TO MICROWAVE DANGERS BECAUSE WE HEAT IN PLASTIC CONTAINERS. Not a lot of people are yet aware of the many the dangers of plastic especially when exposed to heat. Harmful substance used in the the production of plastic leach out of it into your food, hence we are advised never to use plastic to pack hot meals or drinks. Using plastic containers which already carry their own hazards in a microwave oven can simply be called a double jeopardy. PREGNANT WOMEN & CHILDREN ARE MORE VULNERABLE TO THE DANGERS OF THE MICROWAVE These persons are generally seen as having lower immunity and in need of protection from anything that could make them vulnerable, they should be kept far away from a microwave should anyone insist on using them. Research has shown that microwaves change food structure, making food loose beneficial anti-oxidant, and switching healthy nutrients to carcinogens. However, identifying a problem should come with solutions. Below are a few tips to adjust to living without a microwave. Invest in a steamer or oven instead. Take frozen foods out of the freezer hours earlier so you can warm your meals on your stove. With planning and consistency this will not feel like a chore. Where possible freeze meals lesser or place meals that may not need to be frozen in the fridge as you will worry less about speed-defrosting. Now you know the dangers of the microwave in your home, and there’s more to discover with a little research. Always remember that your body is the only place you have to live in, so treat it right at all times. Have a positive health attitude. SOURCE - www.yourhealthattitude.com

I am all for a marriage working out, cuz too many are failing for flimsy reasons, only mother child love is ever selfless, no expectations. However loving any other person comes with expectations and some ugliness, but with determination it can all be healed. Ego worries both men and women, this fight is mostly an ego problem, the marriage is still very much salvageable. Think of the good times and make it work, I just hope sharing it on Nairaland has not destroyed everything. |
