Hi, Don't mind that person. Your clip is very clear. Thumbs up. Your small corner with the wall paper on point too. Because u probably can't get more expensive video equipment yet. Use what u have, I make videos so I knw u can always improvise. It was clear enough and well lit. BUT for a first video dnt beg too much for subscribers, people will do that as long as u offer value which I believe u intend to tho I am not a make upy person, so just consistently make ur videos, and for a first video think u could have said all u wanted in 1minute 30 seconds tops. U get, and a little more energy put into ur presentation in that short time... for sound maybe u could get some mic attached to ur camera or phone. But even that wasnt so bad too. Maybe u could just raise ur voice a little, besides the more u do it the better u'll get at it. WELLDONE joor! Its never easy to make even a few seconds of video.

just thinking aloud : don't you think that a video of all surgeries in any hospital is necessary and important; and should be accessible to a board? At least we would have discovered that that plaster had suddenly disappeared!
Yeah, that could help, especially if camera can be at an angle to see what is going on up close enough.... well maybe someday we'll get there.

What I'm saying is that doctors are humans. And as such when they make mistakes, you look at the issues surrounding the mistake in an objective manner. For example, we haven't even heard from the hospital. As an enlightened person, you'll agree that no matter how compelling a one sided argument is, you still need to hear the other side before judgement. Do you know it's very possible the doctors may have offered a repeat surgery to find out what the problem was, and declined by the patient? Of course the patient will conveniently leave that out of her narrative.
Well that didn't happen, hopefully we will give an update on this story as we continue to seek redress, because if u read properly the talk of another surgery only came a year later and not with the same hospital, when her system was completely upside down.

Really weird a gauze was left in her gut, and not in her abdomen/soft tissue there, or in her vagina, or even in her womb. But the intestines?
Strange story.
What kind of operation did they do in her intestinal tract when they left a gauze there? She said they operated on her pregnant abdomen, so I'm expecting a gauze in either the abdomen, but not inside her gut
And a colonoscopy saw the gauze/mass in the intestines..
Really strange going ons. Even if the gauze migrated, I'm finding it hard to believe it would go through all the layers of the intestines without causing a fistula/opening, and it would land in the gut.
I hope they took that sample for histology. That's the only sensible thing to do.

She specifically mentioned colonoscopy, so what did the colonoscopy see in her intestines?
Camera always could not go through a part of her gut due to some blockage, it happened twice. Was with her for those tests and scans, blockage was being treated as a lump or bulge which is why cancer was being suspected. I can't speak big english...

My name is… you know what let’s leave names out of this, all names, mine, the hospital involved, the doctors involved, at least until further notice. But this is the story of how the doctors forgot something inside me.

On the 15th of April 2017, I went to the hospital to have my 3rd baby, I had complications, a life threatening one, and I went unconscious. When I came to, my baby was gone, they had done an emergency surgery to remove her, I never saw her, and she was buried by her father. Oh! Just so you know, this all happened in Lagos, at least the location of events we can talk about.

Few days later I was discharged, I was in both physical and emotional pain. Pain from the surgery and pain from the loss of a baby carried for 9 month that I never saw.

Well, life had to go on, life should have gone on, with my body healing fast and my emotional scars fading with time, but yeah, life did go on, just differently…

Something was wrong inside my stomach, I was almost always bloated, even 2 months after my surgery, I thought it was something I was eating. I went back to the doctors, I was given anti-biotic, and they were not helping. I seemed to be getting worse, I also had endless vaginal discharge, so constant and nonstop.

I was either going to the toilet too much or rarely going, my stomach did not feel like mine.

I went to the doctors again, they did some tests and listened to my symptoms, in the end Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome (IBS) was diagnosed. They said avoid milk, avoid bowel inflaming food… eating became a nightmare, because even avoiding the inflammatory foods did no good… what was more alarming, I was losing a lot of weight very fast.

One week, I might feel better and the next I am sick. So in all, I was not digesting food well, I was having vaginal discharge which was to be later discovered to be urine and not discharge and I was dropping pounds at a fast pace.

Family and friends told me what to try out, natural remedies, different medications. Nothing was helping, I could not be there for my two kids efficiently as a mother should.

The doctors started hinting of kidney failure, they said tests showed my kidneys were dilated they were also hinting cancer. A recurring question on the mind of many was, why was are you suffering these symptoms only after your last baby, after your surgery?

Months rolled by with only an endless circle of pain, in-between my mother and brother had visited me in Lagos, and their concern was at my weight loss, I told them it would be fine.

There were days I could not stand up straight because of the extreme pain in my abdomen.

At the start of 2018, I really started thinking of coming home to my parents in Abuja with my kids, but I kept stalling for a number of reasons.

I felt I was really slipping away and I was to go home at the end of March, but I decided I should leave for Abuja immediately and stop delaying. On arriving Abuja, everyone was shocked at my appearance, I too was shocked, because I had not gotten a full glimpse of myself in a mirror while in Lagos, till I looked at myself in my mother’s dressing mirror and I also broke down crying. How had I become a carcass of a living human being? My ribs were sticking out, my chest was flat I had no breasts any more, I had no thighs, I was all bones.

I was so weak that my family had to keep carrying me around, the hospital in Abuja admitted me immediately, I was eliminating what I ate in the loo exactly as I ate it, I was not digesting any food, my body was not taking any nutrients from food.

Between the months of March to April 2018, I was moving from one hospital to the other, I was running endless tests, some tests costing as much as a hundred thousand naira (N100,000) like colonoscopy, which I had to repeat twice. Why? Because the camera found a bulge in my intestine, a blockage that made it impossible for the camera to go further.

What was this bulge? Again doctors in Abuja, started telling me that I might have cancer, I should be ready for anything, that they will do a surgery on me to remove the bulgy lumpy part.

I was waiting for my surgery, but then health workers went on strike while I was on admission, the hospital basically parked up. I left.

I have an uncle in Kano who is also a doctor and with my mother we left for Kano immediately, within 2 days my uncle summoned other consultants and they decided on a surgery for me having looked at all my test results from Abuja.

On 21st April 2018 I had surgery.

I never had Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome (IBS), I never had cancer or kidney problems. What I had was a gauze bandage (pictured beneath), left inside my stomach during my last surgery. What my uncle and his colleagues did was a colostomy, to help me pass waste through a small bag attached to the side of my stomach.

This was the item that had wreaked all that havoc on my body almost making my kidneys fail, almost killing me, and almost making my 2 kids motherless.

It was pulled out of my rectum when the doctors were feeling the foreign object felt like a fabric and not a fleshy lump suspected to be a cancerous growth. A growth that they were already saying I would need chemotherapy to shrink, and we all know not a lot of people survive chemo therapy.

It is just the month of June 20118 and I am gaining weigh rapidly, recovering rapidly. I will still go in for another surgery as I am not passing waste rectally, but through a small device attached to my stomach. I have another surgery come August to redirect my colon so I can now pass waste myself.

This is how many people have been silently killed without knowing what was wrong with them till they died, this is how some doctors get away with such acts of carelessness. Maybe it was mistake, but this is a costly mistake that has changed the story of my life forever.

That a doctor can forget a foreign object inside your body might sound like something only seen in movies, things you only hear from a distance and cannot be bothered about. But what happens when an incident like this comes knocking right at your door, happening to you yourself or someone so dear…

This is the story of how the doctors forgot something inside me, and there is more to come, because something has to be done about this.

Dear readers, take note of your body and how it behaves after a major or minor surgery, I had all the symptoms signifying I had a foreign external object inside me, but I didn’t know. Take note for yourselves and take note for your loved ones too.

This are true and precise accounts of an incident that happened to my friend here in Nigeria, and Your Health Attitude hopes to bring you more updates on this story.

Have a positive health attitude.

MAN WITH THE ‘GOLDEN ARM’ WHOSE RARE BLOOD HAS SAVED MORE THAN 2 MILLION BABIES

James Harrison became known as the “Man with the Golden Arm” for his unprecedented volume of blood donations, which have also earned him a Guinness World Record and a Medal of Order in Australia.

The 81-year-old man donated blood for 60 years and made his final donation on Friday, May 11, according to the Australian Red Cross Blood Service. Harrison donated blood more than 1,100 times, and it’s estimated that his donations helped save the lives of 2.4 million babies in total, the Australian Red Cross said.

Harrison’s blood contains a rare antibody that’s used to make a medication called anti-D immunoglobulin, also known as Rh immunoglobulin. This medication is given to mothers who are at risk for something called “Rh incompatibility” with their fetus, meaning the mothers’ immune system may attack and destroy the fetus’s red blood cells.

When this happens, “you end up with a situation where a lot of these babies would have a significant amount of their red cells broken down while they were in the womb,” said Dr. Saima Aftab, medical director of the Fetal Care Center at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami. This can lead to serious complications for the newborn, including brain damage, jaundice or even stillbirth, Aftab said.

However, treatment with Rh immunoglobulin, which is made from the blood plasma of “special” blood donors like Harrison, can prevent these complications.

To prevent problems from Rh incompatibility, doctors first test a woman’s blood early in pregnancy or before pregnancy. If she turns out to be Rh negative, she’ll likely be given Rh immunoglobulin. About 15 percent of the population in the United States is Rh negative.

It is rare for people to have the type of antibody in their blood that’s used to make Rh immunoglobulin. In Australia, the country’s Rh immunoglobulin is made from a pool of only about 200 blood donors, according to the Australian Red Cross.

Harrison likely developed the antibody when he was given a large blood transfusion at age 14. Following that transfusion, “his immune system revved up a high concentration of antibodies” against Rh-positive blood cells, said Aftab, who has not treated Harrison.

Harrison needed to stop donating blood because he is past the age limit for blood donors in Australia, and the Australian Red Cross said he should stop donating to protect his health.

CHICKEN BONE STUCK IN MAN’S LUNG FOR 5 DAYS REMOVED BY DOCTORS

Doctors have saved the life of a man after a chicken bone was discovered to be lodged in his airways after being unnoticed for five days. The 78-year-old choked on a piece of chicken and went straight to hospital as he was worried there was something stuck in his throat.

His fears were initially settled when two X-rays revealed no sign of anything suspicious in his system and doctors in Clayton, Victoria sent him home.

But five days later, he returned to the same emergency department with shortness of breath and a high pitched sound when he inhaled.

A CT scan then revealed a chicken vertebra bone stuck in the unnamed man’s right main stem bronchus – which branches into the lung.

The man was discharged three days after recovering well from surgery to remove the chicken bone.

THE FIRST HUMAN CORNEAS HAVE BEEN 3D-PRINTED BY SCIENTISTS

Scientists at Newcastle University in the UK say they’ve created the first 3D-printed human corneas. Using a combination of their unique “bio-ink” and cornea stem cells, they can print the corneas in under ten minutes.

They have been able to do this by using a new gel formulations that “keeps the stem cells alive whilst producing a material which is stiff enough to hold its shape but soft enough to be squeezed out the nozzle of a 3D printer.”

There is a significant shortage of corneas available to transplant, with 10 million people worldwide requiring surgery to prevent corneal blindness as a result of diseases such as trachoma, an infectious eye disorder,” wrote the researchers. “In addition, almost 5 million people suffer total blindness due to corneal scarring caused by burns, lacerations, abrasion or disease.”

The corneas take ten minutes to print on a cheap 3D printer, a vast improvement on previous efforts. Further, the gel can keep stem cells alive for days, allowing you to print a few corneas over the course of a week.

If their methods gain medical approval, 3D-printed corneas could greatly benefit the millions of people in need of corneal transplants and those suffering from vision impairment due to corneal injury.

COCKROACH MILK COULD BE THE NEXT BIG ‘SUPER FOOD’

Yes, the insects are creeping back on the trendy food list after a new study said the “milk” crystals they secrete to feed their embryos are bursting with nutritional benefits.

A team of scientists from different health institutions across Europe and United States looked at the benefits offered by cockroaches. They mainly looked at the Pacific beetle cockroach and examined its milk.

This milk was found to be very rich in nutrients such as proteins, amino acids, fats and sugars. They write that one single crystal of cockroach milk “is estimated to contain more than three times the energy of an equivalent mass of dairy milk.”

This milk comes from the brood sac of the cockroach where it receives the eggs. Their babies feed on the yellow, pale liquid that is secreted from the sac. The scientists found that humans too could benefit from this secretion.

There are quite a few hurdles before cockroach milk can reach our breakfast tables though. Studies are needed to find if the milk is actually healthy and safe for human consumption.

Now the real question is, what would inspire you to drink cockroach milk? I can’t think of any reason.

FIRST DRUG DESIGNED TO PREVENT MIGRAINES APPROVED BY FDA

The Food and Drug Administration has approved the first drug developed to prevent migraines.

The drug, called Aimovig, was jointly developed by the pharmaceutical companies Amgen and Novartis. It works by using antibodies to block the effect of a protein molecule that plays a key role in triggering and sustaining migraines, known as calcitonin gene-related peptide, or CGRP.

In the three Phase III clinical trials that sealed the drug’s approval, people treated with Aimovig were found to experience anywhere from one to two-and-a-half fewer days of migraines per month than a placebo group, with no added side effects.

Migraines, which are markedly more painful and last longer than a headache, are estimated to regularly affect more than 10 percent of the population, according to the FDA. Women are three times more likely than men to have migraines, and poor, elderly, and disabled people also experience them more often. The causes of migraines remain unclear, but for some people, there seem to be consistent environmental triggers, like certain foods or stress.

The long-term safety of Aimovig, also known as erenumab, hasn’t been tested, and Amgen plans to track outcomes in women who become pregnant while taking it.

No beef, but personally i might only marry a single mother if she's single because she's widowed. Any other reason is a No-No. Its the height of cuckoldery having to raise another man's kid while putting up with her 'entitlement mentality'. I'll only 'pump and dump' thatz all. Sound harsh, but thats the way it is. Remember the old adage, "she single for a reason" and that reason is usually bad. She didnt have the patience/good judgement to make it work with her baby daddy (even for the sake of the kid), why should she stick with you. The cons of dating SMs are just more than the pros - not worth it imho. Why settle for used goods when there's plenty of fresh ones about.

The health niche is a hardcore competitive one, SEO can't help you now.

Build facebook chatbot and start getting targeted subscribers to it. When you get upto 10k, atleast, you're sure of 3k+ daily visitors.

Build more chatbot subscribers and you'll have a taste of blog traffic and make money too, you'd make a lot from health blog, since everything about it is expensive, ranging from the health products you'd promote, adsense and so on.

Facebook Chatbot is just an easy way to get there.

It requires money to achieve too, as I charge 8k for creation of chatbot, some people may charge high.

After, that, you run targeted ads on fb, I'll give you the idea of reaching up 60k people with $5.

So, you can see, you can achieve it faster!

The ball is in your court, utilize it well.

PS: Blogging is a business, you just need money to get want you want or continue waiting for God's time.

If some bloggers can prepare for blogging in terms of finance before joining officially, and plan it well, their story would have been different.

Why should you stop being introverted, embrace ur nature, its the best thing that I was created with, being introverted, but it don't mean u are caved up or naive. I will speak to a group of people clearly about what I want to say, but I am considered a quiet calm person in general, I will rather sit alone at a restaurant than sit with company that's meaningless or have shallow talks... I love being introverted jare, I read and write more, I observe more, discern better. Celibacy can be hard or easy depending on how you approach it. It's similar to diet. Some diet for days and weeks without understanding what they are doing.....they are missing their junk food....so one day they snack a little here and then they go back to their ways....

While others diet with a change of lifestyle mentality.....they enjoy the new life they have embraced. They are creative with how to deal with the cravings....
They engage themselves in denial because they realise the goal and goodness of the new healthy lifestyle

Chastity is a lifestyle, it is the lifestyle of the new man and new woman. It is not about denial of self of pleasure but a saying yes to the true nature of our being.

When I discovered myslef and do not reduce myself to the instinctively state of existence, I will naturally will not reduce my partner or the other person to n object of sexual gratification.

In essence continuous education is crucial than a stoic attitude to premarital sex
This is so true, self awareness is paramount, that way celibacy doesnt feel like chore, or a difficult task. It just becomes second nature infact the instinct then becomes to avoid it (sex) , rather than have it.

Yes its definitely worth the wait. I believe so many destinies have been slaughtered on the altar of premarital sex. Some have sold their birthright for a 3 minute sexual encounter. One of the ways to escape the trap of premarital sex is to be preoccupied with positive stuffs like hanging out with people of same mind cos iron sharpens iron. Another thing is to get busy. Again one should be careful with the kind of stuff we take in. The 2 most important gates to our mind are the eyes and ears. What we see and hear should be duly scrutinised. Therefore we must be careful with the kind of books we read, the movies we watch etc.
Valid points.

These religious folks sef with their salty philosophies. One even said 'so many destinies have been destroyed on the altar of premarital sex'. lol. What does that even mean?

You wanna wait? Fine. Saves the world the potential of you producing some bastards who will overpopulate the planet. But attaching your waiting to some spiritual reward or moral achievement is an enormous load of Bullsshit. Waiting doesn't mean shiit. Best case scenario you end with a dude/lady that is a Virgin like you. So what's the significance of that? Holy kids? Heaven? Mtcheew. Rat race. Seriously grow up.
Nah, don't do this. Respect the fact that different people have the foundation from which they draw their values, and for some its faith. Fear of a higher power that has told us to abstain from pre-marital sex... so nothing like this religious folks sef, some just want to be morally upright. Respect others reasons...
