I just dey wonder how these noise makers will react should Trump strangely win again like he did in 2015

Whether dem go deactivate, or go AWOL, or say "jus kidding grin" or huh?
I, for one, would be very very sad and devastated that I'd have to put up with 4 more years of maga, but I'll console myself with the fact that those 4 years would teach more of those left supporting him a lesson, or not.

Either ways, and thankfully, the food on my plate does not depend in any way upon Trump, but him not being President will make it taste better. I mean the food, and the plate!

Corruption is in every Nigerian.

what most people lack is opportunity.

to fix Nigeria go hard
This is untrue! There are millions of Nigerians who are not corrupt even with the opportunity to be corrupt and you'd likely know this if you were one of us.

Unfortunately, despite millions of uncorrupt Nigerians, "to fix Nigeria go hard" indeed because many think like you do to justify their own corruptness.

First you're derailing the thread

Secondly, i didn't read all of it .....

So tell me budaatum what you learnt.......
First, there's nothing called "derailing a thread" on Nairaland. What you call derailing is another person's perspective.

Secondly, I respect your honesty.

Unfortunately, if I tell you what I learnt, you might think I'm one of those "best teachers" you've been learning from and be led astray as you've already been, so I suggest you read it all yourself from the beginning to the end instead of letting ignorant people tell you what's in it.

This might help.

Wait oo. How come you are against trump?

A lot of trumptards are normally like you. People who believe rubbish, people who have sold their brain to the white man.
What makes you not support Trump?
But donjazet, you are the believer here! Or can't you see that you believe? Funny thing is how you then go and check what you believe and find it to be crap which then confuses you.

buda does not support imbeciles, nor does buda believe what buda can know.

well, isn't it what they teach everyone....
Obviously not. Nor did we all have your so called "best teachers".

In fact, some of us had no teachers at all apart from those who taught us to read, after which we read the book by ourselves and learnt instead of relying on "best teachers" filling our heads with crap like your's seems to have been.

Tell the truth Xavfra. You have never read the book from the beginning to the end.

What makes you think I'm lying.....
Your teachers can not have possibly been the best, and saying they are is an untrurh.

I don't know if you are afraid, but it does sound like your best teachers taught you that "whoever goes outside of it is wrong".

I know at least over a quarter of myself
I hope you see the logic there is in a person who has spent every single second on this planet with themselves but only knows a quarter of themselves claiming to know about a God that has been talked about 1000s of years before you came into existence.

Xavfra:
You see why I said Supra that you cherry pick.....
I do cherry pick. Some of what you say is not worth my time!

Xavfra:
I gave certain points Supra, but you dodged it there by missing and ignoring the essence of this thread.
You might not see it, but the essence of this thread is how little you know, and that is what I have cherry picked.

I didn't say i haven't found him.....
What you sought was what you were told to seek, and on not finding it, you stopped and assumed there was nothing there.

I am suggesting to you that you have not sought at all or at least not enough nor for the right thing because it is very obvious that you have not seen.

We are taught to follow the painting of the church leaders which God gave them.
I can't help but cherrypick.

I must say, you had very bad teachers! Have you bothered to read any of the Gospels? They tell the story of a certain individual who refused to "follow the painting of the church leaders" saying those church leaders must have misunderstood the message God sent or got their message from somewhere else.

"Woe to the hypocrites", he is written to have said. "For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in".

Yet, these are the people who's painting you chose to follow? No wonder you were disappointed.

You have not painted your own painting, Xavfra. And even the painting you are painting now is not your's.

What you're seeing and what you're hearing may give you picture of someone but talking personally with this person will answer so many questions that may develop in our inner thoughts.

The real Christians have a mission and they're dedicated to it, so if you pose a threat to their mission or distraction, they'll ignore you in their search for interested ones who sincerely wants to know what is happening! smiley

The questions we help people to find answers!

Who is God?
Where is he?
Does he really exist?
Why does he permit suffering?
These and many more questions will be answered if we are truthfully interested in knowing, but with preconceived judgment there's nothing anyone can do than to leave you alone! smiley
And one that you missed out.

What is God?

I find it rather amusing we ask those other questions without defining what it is we ask about.

So what where they writing about..?
This, is precisely what we should try to figure out when reading.

One day I was having a shower when the showerhead said "buda, you are a perfectionist". I looked at the showerhead and said, "Bullocks! I have never done anything perfectly in my entire life!" Showerhead said, "Exactly". Took me days to realise I had been arguing with a showerhead. It took a few years for me to realise I had been lectured by the showerhead that perfectionists do nothing because they are never perfect enough. And then I started doing.

I visited a library one day, looking for something to read having grown tired of fiction, when I heard a voice on the other side of the shelf by which I stood say, "I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not have any other God before me". So I went round the shelf to see who spoke, but no one was there. In fact, no one else was on the floor of the library, it being the boring philosophy, psychology and history section on the third floor and no lift! I blamed it on the fact that I had not eaten all day and hunger was making me hallucinate, after all, I was an atheist at the time, God what? But I really was standing before my God which was books, as in Words, I much later worked out.

We never fully understand our own experiences, is my point, so might struggle some to understand the experiences of others especially if we read literally and are not willing to try to understand what exactly might be meant.

I'd like to say Nigeria's population would likely not grow so fast since many of you are having a fraction of the children your parents had and your children would have a fraction of what you have, but unfortunately, quite a lot of those "Niger's population is forecast to grow by 765% by 2100, Chad's by 710%, South Sudan's by 594% and Mali's by 321%" would likely end up in Nigeria and increase our population, so we'd better be preparing. But sadly, we very likely wouldn't.

I am very certain the Igbos will go wherever suits them and say whatever they think gets them the votes. However, they haven't done anything to get the post in either party in 2023, as I already alluded to and which you'd have understood if you used your sense.

PIMPAR:
Use your sense even if it's 20 second in a day.
I was in the east during the 2015 election. Ekwunife and other PDP members, this was their campaign slogan, from market to market. They used that to demarket Ngige, whom could have become the senate President in 2015.
Make use of your sense
If it was not all Igbos, APC wouldn't have scored less than 5% on 2 occasions in the east.
Go and duely as PDP for their presidential ticket. As for APC, that is a forgotten issue

Well your opinion matters to you also.

I hope you did watch the video clip where a nigerian boy destroyed his mother's kitchen, for whatever reasons he said the mum doesn't love him enough. I was just wondering, could anyone raised in Nigeria try such with his parents?

So, in as much as some parents over do it, that doesn't mean it's totally wrong.
Being beaten for most of the things you listed above show bad parenting, and I hope you see it as so wrong that you never beat your child for any of them.

I had to educate my own ma on the errors of her beating me, and she admitted the stress and pressure she was under at the time (five kids to feed, house, clothe and educate on 1970s ₦100 a month salary), stopped her thinking straight. It was like she was blaming me for us having to starve!

How can Igbo reffer to APC as Islamic party in the east just to cunning people in 2015 and 2019 and same Igbo still want to use the same party to contest for presidential election in 2023. Get little sense
Not all Igbos could possibly have referred to APC as an Islamic Party. Those with a brain would have noted the position of a certain Pastor. And even those who might have referred to APC as an Islamic Party would have said whatever was expedient to "cunning people" and would flipflop on a dime to "cunning people" all over again!

Please get plenty sense. You need much more than a little!
