stinechykee: Please you Housas should sort yourself with your Fulani intertwined brothers and leave Igbos out of it since you Housas and Yorubas have foolishly failed to align with Igbos to deal with Fulani instead you people choose to envy Igbos for doing what you people could not do I wish it worked the way you claim, unfortunately you must be aware of people yelling "Fulani" in Biafra land. When your neighbours are suffering and you selfishly stand by saying its not your business, the suffer providers will turn on you next, and that's if the sufferers themselves don't come to you for succour. But I guess that's a lesson you are yet to learn but soon will. |

Joeboy4ever: the truth is the youths aren’t focused that’s why, and I won’t blame them everyone is just looking for a way to get money and leave the country no one is ready to fight for this country that’s why. And until someone is settled in his country he or she won’t see the opportunity that lays in front of him But there is money in building computers! It's how Dell started. They bought parts and assembled, now see how big they've become. I don't blame the youths though. The elders are the ones who did not focus them. The likes of Adebowale Electronics died on the watch of the elders. Our ressurection (or not dying) is however in our own hands. |

DissTroy: Maybe. But since the talk is on about the presidency going to the South, the South West (Yorubas) are potentially in the race.
Yet you wouldn't dismiss the Yorubas from having a shot at the top seat even though Sunday Igboho (a prominent Yoruba) is a secessionist.
Should we cancel the Yorubas and put a glass ceiling on their sociopolitical ambitions for this singular reason? I have not dismissed the entire Igbos neither. My lovely hopefully future President Ngozi is Igbo! https://www.nairaland.com/6652782/ngozi-okonjo-iweala-president-2023You need to stop shooting your own foot and go stumble some more.

The locals should go drag their local government chairman to come and see, but I guess they'd rather be yelling "Fulani, bubu, cow"!
P.s. This is not unique to any one part of Nigeria. My Yoruba people will try it too but the locals would probably beat the living daylight out of them.

DissTroy: Budaatum, I just stumbled on this comment of yours on front-page.
You really think this? You really think the Igbos don't deserve a shot at presidency because a tiny section of their population called IPOB are calling for secession? You obviously have not stumbled on my comments in support of Igbos who are not hell bent on destroying Nigeria so go stumble some more until you become enlightened. For your information, I am equally as prejudiced against my fellow Yoruba people hoping to destroy my country Nigeria for Oduduwaland. budaatum: The way they go about it like senseless thugs!
If I were after Biafra, I would be suing for it in all the courts all over the world I can find that will let me while I would meanwhile be developing my Biafra area with everything I can get my hands on. We will have running water to every house. Electricity will never go out. Gas will run to your cooker from source. Our government would be the envy of all. We will be the most secure region. Our courts will be the most honest. Our schools will be the best in equipment and resources. My people will be the most honest and decent (if you are not, I will deport you to Yorubaland!), and I will levy my Biafra people 10% tax to do all this out of the ₦100k a month minimum wage they will earn. Foreigners, as in non-Biafrans will pay 20%, if you don't like it get the fuq out of my beautiful Biafra!
When the rest of Nigeria see how well my Biafra area is doing under them, the sensible ones amongst them will beg me to come and rule them to! |

I am very disappointed too. Economic sanctions is the unfortunate tool, but taliban will just turn the women into slave labour on their poppy fields.
The world should give these women free internet access so they can learn from the web.

Joeboy4ever: the average Nigerian don’t have that mental capacity they’d rather buy their so called Hp and use it like that, only Tech enthusiasts know what it means to pick your pc parts yourself and have it coupled together for you, there are more powerful laptops out there using desktop processors and video cards on a laptop like xmg, but Nigerians won’t even go or look that way It's a pity we miss such a huge business opportunity considering our vast market. It's like I say about our oil refineries. If we don't understand how they are made, someone will sell us what is substandard and would never work. Its why I've contributed to your thread. You know what you are selling. I did consider XMG, but Brexit meant I'd have to pay tax on delivery which complicated things. |

Politics › Re: What If South East Sit At Home During 2023 Presidential Elections? by budaatum: 2:26am On Oct 03, 2021 |
seunmsg: The situation the OP is envisaging (even though impossible) won’t even lead to a run off if it happens. It’s a case of voter apathy and not disenfranchisement. Since people can’t be forced to come out and vote, zero will be recorded for all the candidates in all the polling units in the SE and it will stand as legitimate election result. Zero? Very unlikely since the candidates would very likely vote for themselves considering how much it cost to get on the ballot. They'd get their children and partner to vote for them to, so lets say at least 5-6 people would vote on each side, and that's if they have no friends or extended family who would also vote for them. Boycotting elections is like shooting oneself, a very silly thing to do considering one would have to endure the leadership of the voted.

Believing and having faith in someone else experience. Nice help, though that's not quite the meaning of religion, despite it being a part of it. One can be religious without "Believing and having faith in someone else experience". Also, one can have faith and belief in the experience of one's doctor or Messi, but you wouldn't say that person is religious because of it. Or would you? |
