Marriages where there are such rules and regulations are those that easily break up. Marriages are schools that your lessons are endless. You learn everyday for life. When you input such do’s and don’ts then you are setting a trap for your spouse or you set up traps for each other. Marriage needs you to be emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually ready before embarking on it. If you have these, whatever comes your way, as they will surely come, you are already equipped to handle them all. Cheers. |
They want to perpetuate themselves in power and use the advantage to further spread terror and polarise this country. Once again is it not the time for us all to go our separate ways? |
Area C very notorious. The policemen station themselves in buses under Ojuelegba bridge and carelessly arrest citizens moving to their respective locations. They force such people into their buses and try to extort them of their hard earned money. Failure to hand money over lands the person in illegal detention. As for people like us we have long lost hope in the credibility of certain police personnel who see the uniform and gun as their store for daily income. |
Na wah. Vanity upon vanity will always be vanity as they say. Looking at IBB presently and remembering him several years ago, one must learn lessons in life. The bad policies he made along with our present oga and their group of military people set this country on the part of failure. He has beautiful chairs, yet he sits only on a straight chair. He lives in the hilltop, yet he cannot walk physically around his property to get the fill of the beauty. If there is an emergency in his home that makes people run for their lives, without help he cannot move. Youths learn today to build bridges through relationships. The enemies you make today may haunt you in the future. The friends you make today will be there for you in the future. The help you give to someone today will be the basis for the help you get from someone else in the future. I hope Gen. IBB gets better with his health, even though it lies in the power of God only. |
How did this fellow manage to find his way from Nigeria to the UK? |
Dialpad:You are very wrong bro. You can also say that about children of civilians. Many are very irresponsible as we know. I think you should refer to the few that you know. The General overseer of the Mountain of fire of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. D. K. Olukoya is the son of a police officer. What about that? There are so many in politics, the military too and civil society. Upbringing matters a lot. As we have police personnel who wrongly bring up their children, so also do we have civilians who wrongly bring up their children. |
Baawaa:Fantastic woman. Very decent, kind and humane. A very good family woman and police officer. Very good to her officers and always getting their commendations. |
Very clear. We have been informed severally that the insurgency in the north is backed by some very important personalities in the north. What business has Bafarawa got with the evil nephew other than to allow the law take its course and ensure that his own image is not damaged by the boy? A close examination may find Bafarawa himself as a sponsor of terrorism in the north. Someone very important once said “an attack against boko haram is an attack against the north”. With those words, who was he deceiving when he pretentiously informed Nigerians that he was trying his best to end insurgency in the north. Now insurgency thrives, far worse than the GEJ regime. There is terror all over the country. That was always the mission of these agents of the devil. ACP Abba Kyari once showed us on tv kidnappers arrested, as they made their confessions. They said that after their operations, their sponsors would collect the money and give them twenty thousand naira for the job. As long as northern leaders use banditry as a means of making money, there will be no peace there. The solution is publicly announcing their names, getting them arrested, jailed and collaborating with super powers to stop this insanity. |
Work don end. Everyday for thief, as they say, inside January. Nothing like mistake there. Na their cup full. Even when they noticed it, their greed did not make them check it. Abeg with all these name calling and terrible image, make our police get small shame sef. |
Surely the so called lady is not the mother of the baby. The real mother will show up soon as information spreads about the child. |
How this quota system threw up such fellows is mind boggling. What will be the problem if the northerners choose not to purchase spare parts (quoting the honorable minister) from the south easterners? So it becomes war if I choose not to purchase your products. One keeps wondering daily with the level of division created by politicians in this country, if it would not be better for the country to break up so every part can choose where they belong. |
Straight to business. Anambra becomes the model of how things should be done. Round peg in a round hole as they say. |
oyatz:Thank you for your decent response. Agreed that democracy thrives on choices. Nobody is restricted or should be restricted in anyway from expressing their democratic rights or aspirations. I am not advocating for Osibanjo, neither am I a supporter of the failed party, APC, but looking at his pedigree, do you not see him as someone who will make things work? Nobody stops BAT from contesting, but looking at Adelakun’s comment, where can you find any fault in reality? At this point for me, we should stop recycling certain old politicians, not just BAT, but others who have held this nation by its jugular and consistently suffocate the citizens. This nation needs to move forward. We must not elect our leaders out of sentiments. We must elect only people who understand what the words “change” and “next level” mean in the true sense. |
When he is arrested and sent to prison for life, another man or other men will take over his “wife”. His wife will not serve jail with him. The child will not be trained by him. He will continue his hair cutting business in prison. Certainly he did not even marry the lady. Very foolish person. |
oyatz:Looking at the write up without bias, can you dispute the fact that very bad leaders have been foisted on us as citizens? This country has gone from bad to worse on all indices. We had an Ambode who was doing quite well in terms of infrastructure and trying to make Lagos better and a mega city, but he was removed because he did not play ball. With him by now, agberoism would have become history. By now people living in a so called mega city like Lagos should be ashamed of agberos, okadas and keke napeps. Their activities had been successfully curtailed by Brig. Marwa before 1998 and we had peace. Today agberos have even taken over control of traffic lights in parts of Lagos. The leader of NURTW presently campaigns and the reason is simple. Get BAT in and have an additional 8 years of the nuisance in Lagos. Adelakun has no axe to grind. The truth is there for everyone to see, except one chooses to behave like the proverbial ostrich. He’s greed is responsible for the national calamity that we experience today nationally. Before 2014 BAT was a regional leader. His leading ACN to team up with CPC was to gain national prominence and as we have finally heard to satisfy his “life long ambition”. If what we presently experience from APC is the best of our president, as he said, what difference will APC under BAT make? For me the candidate for the SW should be Osinbanjo. The difference is very clear. |
EmptyGarden:I wondered just like you my friend. |
ThatFairGuy1:Nobody was with you. Nobody is with you. Na only you waka come! |
Dem don tire! Na dem lose pass. Electioneering has started somehow. They need Twitter. |
See his head like Osisioma bridge. |
ibechris:That’s the challenge with Nairaland where you have reckless and irresponsible youths like you who choose to be abusive. People like you put decent people off this platform. If the word “myopic” is rude, then I wonder if you passed elementary English. I know you are still a very little boy, single and with no experience of how marriages work. What you have no idea about, simple shut your mouth and let those who are knowledgeable teach you. |
AlphaAlex:Marry first make you know the how far. |
ibechris:Very myopic assertion friend. How did you get to the conclusion suddenly that his wife was wrong? If the wife decides to pursue the matter legally, then he goes to jail for what is called “marital rape”. The man was wrong in all areas. OP claimed to be a good husband and father. What stopped him from finding out what was wrong with his “beautiful wife”? In marriages couples pass through certain emotional challenges that make sex the least of issues that bother them. In such moments sex becomes a big issue. It behoves the other partner to help find a solution, otherwise the marriage could be on a path of destruction. Seeing that his wife was pushing him away, he should have given her time to fix her emotional challenges and all would be well again. Now we see that OP is a very inexperienced husband. “There is simply no submissiveness in that woman”. How? Did OP tell you that he had other issues aside from sex? Submissiveness is not all about sex, friend, otherwise at your command either your wife or husband would jump into bed like a slave. OP now has done his worst and presently receives the worst of reactions from his wife and total loss of respect. Now also trust is lost. OP exposes himself as a rapist too. He cannot be trusted with women around him. He needs to keep appealing to his wife, make her begin to respect him again. Find out what the emotional issues are and help her overcome them. That’s the way forward. |
AnthonyAnderson:The coaches should have large fire extinguishers in them. Four fire extinguishers are adequate looking at the length of trains. Cars are required to have standard fire extinguishers in case of unfortunate events like this, how much more trains. Trains must have big sized fire extinguishers and large quantities too in the coaches. Corruption will finally destroy this country someday if care is not taken. With the present crop of leaders, Nigeria goes from bad to worse daily. An investigation will prove the humongous amounts budgeted to procure large quantities of fire extinguishers for the trains, but the ogas would have chopped a large chunk and left the trains without adequate requirements for fire extinguishers. Now they will make fresh budgets, get more loans to replace the coaches and further impoverish the country. |
“ His eagle eye to source for talents and nurture them remained unparalleled. A support for Asiwaju is a support for the development of Nigeria and the unification of its people. It’s time to do the right thing and the needful,” he added. If only Yoruba sons and daughters support BAT, how does he expect to become the president of Nigeria? This ethnic politics will always make this country be at this psychological, economic and physical war, ensuring that there will never be peace and equity. If Oluomo expects his principal to win and become the president, his request should go to Nigerians as a whole. The same should happen to other politicians across political parties for the peace and unity of this country. |
God1000:A big AMEN to that! |
So now agreed that he left PDP to seek presidential position with APC. He has also calculated that if at the worst he loses, he expects APC to remain in power beyond 2023 and give him a very senior position in government. What will happen to him if APC loses to PDP? For certain we know that PDP will regain Ebonyi from APC. What will happen if our political parties follow their so called manifesto or agenda and make all their members understand it and apply in either when they are in power or not. With this the citizens can freely make their choices without inducements and there will be clarity at all times. This way also politicians will not keep decamping for flimsy excuses that clearly portray them as selfish, greedy and looters. |
IgweBUIKE1:Which money you take pay transport go back? |
They should remain there. When they ban all what they term as ‘vices’ in their state, they should ensure that non of their people leaves their domain and venture into the southern states to enjoy the so called ‘vices’. We have noticed a daily inflow of trailer loads of northerners into the southern states, carrying okadas, guns and other offenses weapons. A lot of them are very vicious and attacked people unprovoked. The politicians have their own swimming pools in their homes. Who will monitor them to ensure compliance? It’s so sad that daily the north makes this country look very ugly and uninhabitable. |
nzeobi:The vision is not hidden. Or do you want to say that you have not been experiencing the vision since 2015? |
The most unsafe business you can do. Very despicable act carried out by cowards and rungs of the earth, who will never have hope of a better hard working tomorrow, how much more an aspiration for a better tomorrow. Hopefully the bastards are found, systemically sliced to pieces and lastly shot dead. |
ArchiLimited:No shaking! |
