Isoko name is getting into the news a lot lately with criminal activities. Wetin na Isoko people? |
Iyaebe:The right response. A highly irresponsible young man and an irresponsible young lady. And the thought that her friends and family members will watch the young lady embarrassing herself in the social media is nauseating. |
Greedy dad. If they were kidnappers, he would have been in worse trouble. The people called and promised him “honorarium” and “something later told him”they were not who they claimed to be. Yet because of “chop chop” he fell for the trap. Now he and his son feel the full impact of intolerant people. |
She said “One day, I woke up and my bed was soaked with blood. I didn’t know what happened. I told my father in the morning but he didn’t do anything. He used to tell me that if I leave Prof’s house, who will pay my school fees? That is how the Prof has continued to disturb me until I told my aunty in the school”. If not for poverty, fear and mental weakness, how would a man watch his daughter get defiled by a fellow man and not respond appropriately? Since her father could not stand up as a man to defend his daughter, someone else did it. The irresponsible professor ruined his career and brought his professor wife and children disgrace. |
Nonsense. This analysis was compiled from where? Southeast matter no go let all of una sleep. Why not talk about states in the northeast or north central? In all it remains the collective agreement of governors in the south that VAT should be retained by the states. Kano state therefore should be allowed to retain whatever accrues to them and let the states of the Southeast retain whatever accrues to them, from whichever source their VAT is generated. |
Amaris2020:How much? |
SapphireBlue:“We rise by raising others”. That’s very clear about life. Did Baba Fryo try in anyway to raise others? Relationships matter a lot in life. Relationships are like roads. You need them to get you to places. Did Baba Fryo make relationships? The answer is a capital NO. He said “Davido could have used his fame and influence to raise funds for him the same way he did for the orphans”. It does not work like that. The truth is that you not you cannot reap where you have not down. Does Baba Fryo have a relationship with Davido? |
SapphireBlue:Baba Fryo is simply deeply jealous, greedy and self centered. Who baba Fryo help? All his life he has been lamenting of people not doing this or doing that for him? His music “dem go dey pose” was made to taunt his friends in Ajegunle who he claimed did not help him in the 90s when he was on the sick bed. Baba Fryo is over 50 years old if I am not mistaken and Davido is 29 years old. Abeg bros when Baba Fryo played that his song in the 90s Davido was a baby. Baba Fryo is more than old enough to be Davido’s father. His “colleague” must be the likes of Daddy Showkey, etc. Davido no be im mate. Shamelessly he tells us about the way the “black man” reasons. If not for his entitlement mentality, how would he be looking up to a small boy like Davido and complaining about how the boy did not help him. Na him family abi na him friend? That man is not only a wizard, na witchcraft join an for im body. He complained about Daddy Showkey and other Ajegunle brought up musicians. Now he complains about a young man who may not have stepped his feet on Ajegunle land. Other artistes is Ajegunle complained about his wicked, selfish and greedy nature. He never helped anyone. If he ever helped people, getting help would never be hard for him. Abeg make Baba Fryo respect him age and siddon for one side. He advised Nigerians to open their eyes. Yes ooo Nigerians have opened their eyes to the watts of people like Baba Fryo. |
hopefulLandlord:Please read it again. |
JosephXavier:Read and understand. |
Very lengthy with contentious points. We only heard one side of this family squabble which obviously has gone on for several years. We need to hear from Hon Ossai. We hear how the honorable has been effective at the National Assembly, attracting federal projects there. Why did OP stay away from his father in the period of his illness? Does giving kola and “supporting” the kola, which is customary among the Ukwuani people, in anyway erase the grave error of not being by his father during his illness? That alone would make the uncle mad. No reason was given for that. Or was OP waiting for his father to pass away, paving the way for him to get his father’s possessions? What kind of children were you to your father? Were you responsible or irresponsible? In your statement you said that your sisters asked your father to change his signature while he was still alive and the man objected. OP’s father may have told Hon. Ossai that his own children were irresponsible, leading to the actions taken by the honorable. What was the relationship between OPs father and Hon. Ossai Nicholas his brother during his lifetime? Did they grow up quarreling? Were they fond of each other? Did OP’s father, being the senior play the role of the senior during their growing years? Little things matter among us Africans. One can ask how the relationship between OP and his father was, which made Hon Ossai take this position against them. How did OP’s mum relate with Hon. Ossai and other in-laws when she arrived in that family? If OP’s uncle was never answering his calls, then there clearly were issues annoying him. How will going to court sort out the problem? I think OP needs to get reasonable people in Kwale to speak with his uncle and resolve their problems. |
Jakumo:Fantastic. I think the submission of the chairman and those who share the same view as him is social and religious. If we set aside the sentiments and look at the economic benefits, Nigeria will prosper more from legalizing it. Moreso is the fact that abusers of marijuana are an insignificant percentage of our population. The chairman cannot know more than the professionals in the field. Legalizing it will create job opportunities and will definitely improve the economy of our nation. |
With APC Nigeria entered dark days, not marijuana. |
Na the jealousy of person wey owu don scatter I’m head. |
Rubbish by the jagbajantis OP. Which state is exempted from terrible roads in Nigeria? Why must it be Abia state always? Why not Lagos or Ogun states where you have worse roads? Go siddon abeg. |
Frank150:Yes oooo and your people and human rituals are like 1 & 2. |
APC and justifications. By the way im papa sef get bald head? Make una no vex o e be like say e no resemble im papa for face. No be me talk so ooo. |
“They still consider anyone not in their fold as an infidel, which is why they want to be allowed to slaughter their cow themselves”. How can you have infidels within the same religious belief? |
You no dey shame. Talk of your own self. Kuku tell us say baba wan find way to collect money for people hand. Mr. Otimkpu. Why not first post your own to your own people? Nonsense copy copy people. All una politicians wey no get shishi go come dey form followers to collect money from people hand. Jagbajantis intete! |
Very terrible. It’s quite terrible that these evil people seem to get away so easily. What makes it very heart wrecking is that some of our security men are said to aid them. Same also for some politicians. |
GeneralKoko:Are your friends irresponsible? Na so your sister fine reach? That your sister fit be waka waka come dey form angel for your front. Abi will it be better for your sister to remain at home “marriedless” or “nna ga anu”. No play that kind play. Na poor man thinking be that. The rich connect the children to each other and that way sustain their wealth. If your sister marries someone you know, it is better and easier for you. They say the devil you know is better than the angel you do not know. If they have issues, it will always be easier to sort out. |
funshint:Bros o abeg no vex make I as you. Snake don first bite you before? You dey talk like who snake don first bite before. |
Charmingrascal:You dey very wicked. As I see you so, you be like village wizard. Why you come dey talk of BMC inside this matter? |
APCNig:“Presidency will never be zoned to your village so that it will not be a straight contest between Evans the billuonaire kidnapper and the Ozubulu drugs traffickers”. May I ask you if the presidency was zoned to your village previously? You do not need to be insolent to discuss. “Power is fought for and snatched. Power is never given on a platter of gold”. And you think you understand what democracy is all about? Power is “snatched”? Is it like a football match? Or are you archaically looking at the military era? “Presidency was never zoned to the Southwest...”. How old were you in 1998/1999? Little boy, there was an agreement between the parties to zone the presidency to the Southwest in order to pacify the Yorubas. Zoning it to the Southwest was to calm the Yorubas over the events of 1993/MKO Abiola. The Southwest produced Obasanjo and Olu Falae. PDP won because it had the most national appeal. Obasanjo did not “mercilessly” defeat Ekwueme if not that it was an agreement among the contending powers. Ekwueme got into the equation to create a semblance of democracy in action. All the delegates had the instruction to vote Obasanjo. The same played out in 2003 when Atiku sought to remove Obasanjo. What you should talk about is not “snatching” or violence, but for all to come to peaceful negotiated settlements. It is not a wrestling or boxing contest. That’s why you vote wrong people who make you suffer as you witness now. You agreed that rotation is between the “north and the south”. If that is the case, the South with Obasanjo from the SW had 8 years, with everyone’s agreement. The North with Yaradua from the Northwest served 2 years and GEJ from the South, took the SS slot and serving 6 years. The South represented by the SW have the VP position for 8 years, do you want to say that the SE is not part of the country? All these with 22 years of our present democracy. What about the North central and the Northeast? Why then after looking at power rotation without bias, should the SW think about the presidency at this time? What we say is that for equity and balance if power is shifted to the south, the presidency should be in the SE in 2023. Hopefully you understood all. Cheers. |
Baawaa:Nothing less than VIP beggar. Now see how our so called VIPs will make jokes of Davido’s ingenuity. Those who are broke will pretentiously post their accounts in the name of “my fans”. The fans too will not know that their favorite personalities are broke. Politicians too will post their accounts in the name of “ my supporters”. Na wah for Nigeria. Everything na pure water. |
brainpulse:Na you curse PDP abi? And this leadership under which Nigerians labor with heavy yoke should be called what? |
Na so. APC and witch hunting. |
7Randall:Is there no way you can get cash to deposit directly into their account? This way when your IPPIS issue is sorted out, the loan people would make refunds to you. |
JAMO84:And yet he is their governor? And yet they voted him in 2019? |
benuejosh:But APC in 8 years has been a complete disaster. People are still blindfolded by them, believing that tomorrow will be better, yet they get more impoverished daily. |
Waoh. I never knew that she was a BOT member of the PDP, seeing that she was Tinubu’s deputy and a staunch member of the then Alliance for democracy. When she says south, I hope she means the Southeast and not the Southwest? Without doubt and with a lot of commonse we all know that the Southeast has the claim over it. Hopefully too Nigerians with the scam and lack of direction going on, have realized that we all committed great blunders in 2015 and 2019. These blunders must not repeat in 2023. |
“Pantami got his PhD in 2014, that is, about 7 years ago. That is 5 years short of the “minimum of 12 years post qualification experience” the job ad requires. Plus, Pantami’s entire university teaching record is less than 10 years-- if you consider that he didn’t teach during the three years he studied for his PhD at the Robert Gordon University in Scotland. Similarly, his PhD is in management from the business school of Robert Gordon University. It is not in cybersecurity. People can become professors in fields they didn’t get their PhD in if they publish extensively in them. But Pantami’s record of just 10 mostly low-quality, pay-to-play, garbage-in-garbage-out publications in fraudulent, predatory journals doesn’t compensate for his management PhD”. Some here gave it ethnic coloring, rather than looking at the issue at hand. Hopefully with this we can see clearly why ASUU must carry out a thorough investigation and let’s have proof that money did not change hands to confer professorship on an underserving/unqualified person. |
