Mandate ko, mandators ni. Ojoro no go work again. |
He is trying to do another Imo state abracadabra. Maybe he has received some lessons. I wonder which mandate he lost and who gave him the mandate. However he and his co travelers must be told that if they try another Imo state in Anambra state, then they want to put that state on fire. |
Is it democratic for governors to choose their successors? Is it democratic that governors should subdue all opposition to his intention to retire to the National Assembly? Do we practice democracy in its true sense in Nigeria? |
Ikinternational:Hahahahahahahaha. So you are wrong!!!! Anyway I am relaxing already. |
Greener pastures ko, dried grass ni. Abi does he want them to be kidnapped? How many French people or foreign nationals at that can move freely around this country anymore? If the opportunities were here as hypocritically claimed, why are Nigerians risking the Sahara and seas to get to Europe? Now you find Nigerians in the remotest parts of the world. Now we hear of Guyana, Lithuania, Macau, St. Kitts, Jamaica, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc. |
Ikinternational:OP is from Imo keh? Did you read? |
Very painful if it this report is correct. Our army was recently painfully labeled “paper tiger”. It appears all in the books have been tried. Arms, both fake and original have been purchased. Soldiers have been accused of sabotaging themselves in the battle front. Senior military officials both past and present have been accused of looting funds designated to purchase arms. In all, boko haram and iswap control lake chad and swaths of lands in the north. Bandits (as we are made to call them) control villages in Sokoto and Zamfara and presently have their own village heads, collecting taxes and tributes. At the same time, the military have diverted their attention to an imaginary enemy in the south east and south west. Is it not time to admit that our military is completely overwhelmed and in desperate need of foreign help? Are we going to wait until a Libya or Mali is made out of the north of Nigeria? GEJ brought mercenaries in spite of the then looting of resources to deal with this matter. Is it not time to seek help from other countries who can help us out? Everyday these wicked people in the name of religion kill and maim innocent people in the north and enslave them. People cannot go to their farms anymore and more poverty stares the people in the face. This war in the north appears endless and iswap appears to finally want to carve out their perfect nation from northern Nigeria after their failure in Iraq and Syria. We need to wake up to the realities on ground before the entire nation gets engulfed in this religious, economic and territorial battle. |
chrisxxx:It does not matter. What counts is the character, integrity and the conscience. You can have all the degrees and yet you are filled with a corrupt and filthy character. Of all the names that you quoted, aside from Soludo who will become the governor shortly, which of them can swear that he neither looted nor enjoyed from “free” government money? Go around the world and you will find that the best countries are not those with professors as presidents, but those with integrity. We have supported Soludo not because of his academic qualifications but because he’s been tried and he’s trusted. Bros, do not boast about your people in Anambra state but pray that things get better there. |
Maxymilliano:“Fulani never forgive nor forget”. I wonder why people keep making this assertion. So when the Fulanis graze on people’s lands, raping, killing and maiming, the people should forgive and forget? Look no single person has the monopoly of violence. It is very painful that our country has entered into this stage where certain areas and communities have turned into battle grounds and killing fields. We have all seen how the Fulanis have caused problems in the name of taking over ancestral lands or recovering grazing routes. We must not look at the truth in the face and deny it. The truth still stands certain Fulani individuals are the aggressors. The wicked among them have mingled with the decent among them and have brought problems to them. I only sincerely hope that the fighter pilot does not get into trouble with his bosses. He may be accused of carrying out a deliberate attack on the Fulanis in that community. This government may be doing something about the insecurity going on everywhere but their actions are inadequate and look selective. This religious cloak must be taken away and national issues like this dealt with honestly for us to have peace again in Nigeria. |
Omoluabi16:Not agreed absolutely. There will be a multiplier effect from what we saw. 1. Nationwide rejection of conscience-buying-money from politicians. 2. Politicians acknowledging that people are tired of their tricks 3. Politicians waking up to their responsibilities 4. Better leaders 5. Better country and better people |
ugodson:It takes a thief to advise a thief. |
PlayMaker14:A very big fool who thought he was still in school and could continue with his crooked behavior. He maintained his contacts and in the end his “men” vanished. Now he faces the law alone. It is clear that his so called wife did not leave him because of money but she could have discovered his criminal life and wanted to run away. |
ANSMEDIA:The same thing, different ways of pronouncing the word among other words like that. |
LILTJAY:How? Sometimes I wonder how you youths turn very serious national matters to tribal jokes? You hear that people get killed going to their farms daily and you think such a serious matter should be made mockery of. In the end a lot of you cry daily about hunger and lack of job opportunities. When herders access people’s ancestral lands under the pretence the a Fulani man is the president of the country, to kill and destroy their means of livelihood, every reasonable person should rise up to reject it. Now we have food crisis all over the country. Rather than being sincere, we have a president who stated that the middlemen are the problem with food. He deliberately did not want to tell us that herdsmen and bandits started the crisis from the north and also chased farmers away from the farms in the north, leading us to the crisis that we experience today. Presently there is a partial closure of the southern border in the name of smuggling of rice. Hypocritically the northern borders are controlled by bandits and terrorists, giving room for a free flow of smuggling of rice and other items. Now farmers cannot go to their farms, importers find it difficult, our currency is in a mess and hunger fills the land. Is it time to get funny or wake up and live? The south is affected by the problems of the north and the peace of many communities in the entire south has been taken away. Is it going to take an all out war for you all to address serious national matters appropriately? |
emmykk:Bros you been talk well before, but this APC wey you join come be like say the matter spoil. Why na? |
IMASTEX:That’s why the citizens must be very watchful and vote for only the right persons. Certainly the political godfathers will not let go easily. The citizens have the responsibility to back the right candidates and team up with them to eliminate the powers and influences of the political godfathers. |
post=107526096:That’s a professional who recognizes another. It takes a great mind to recognize another. My sincere prayer and hope is that men of great integrity and character take charge of the affairs of this nation. At independence we had Chief Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Enahoro, Herbert Macaulay, Aminu Kano, Michael Opara, etc. These were all great men who led their people with honesty and integrity, aside from been properly educated. Aside from being men of high intellectual capacities, they must be sincere and ready to help their states and nation get better. |
Joysticks:Poverty is a very dangerous chain. When it ties you, if you do not struggle hard enough, it may not untie you. Bros wetin concern you? You no be man? You no get hand? You no get leg? You no get head? No be as e come this life you sef come? E tell you say im papa na billionaire before? Na you make the money for am? You known am physically? Na your family or friend? Wetin come be your own wey you turn yourself to economic adviser? This kind owu comment na wah. Oya quickly start praying for owu to live your life alone. |
Parada:“Senselessness”. Exactly! That’s what you ingloriously and ignorantly display here. Completely deviating from the topic and showing your level of mental retardation. Truly there are those of you here who need constant mental evaluation. Some of you have gone to their graves early out of fear of people of other tribes. “Insignificant”? I wasted my time talking with one insignificant person like you this morning. “Miserable”? You exposed yourself once again as a miserable person. Unfortunately Igbo matter has made you a very miserable person. “Hopeless”. I guess you are completely lost in that state now, with nothing to do about your situation. Once again please take your stinking self righteous lunatic personality and go your way. |
nedekid:Do not forget that he has been part of government. Just like you said, our hope is that he’ll use Anambra to show to the rest of the country how the right people in the right places can make our country better. |
padi94:Well said. The challenge with such professionals is not in their abilities to deliver. The challenge arises from politicians who occupy the spaces and dictate the affairs. For him to secure the ticket, he must have entered into some agreements. When he is installed the politicians expect him to keep his own part of the deal. Do not forget that the deal for the politicians will always be how to corner the resources. Such people like Soludo find their hands tied. That is what I think plays out in Edo state. If the governor summons the political will to execute his plans, the politicians frustrate the efforts. We have great minds and people of integrity all over this country. The problem we have is the greed and selfishness of the political class. Soludo is not a newbie. He’s been part of governance, planning and policy making. Seeing the areas where changes must be effected and new ideas injected, I believe that he is in pole position to move Anambra state forward. |
Parada:I thought the Yorubas are said to be known with respect to elders and others. Youths like you make the assertion look like a facade. Granted that there are many among you who are respectful, the truth is that they are the progressive ones and today they are the big names among you. When you look at a particular people and have a myopic opinion about them, without them having issues with you, then you are in trouble psychologically. It is unfortunate that there are the likes of you out there who are very immature and quite irresponsible. When you address people as “cursed”, it beggars reasoning. Maybe you know a thing or two about curses, but one thing is certain, it takes a cursed person to know another. When you cannot hold simple discussions without hurling insults, do you not clearly see that you lack knowledge and your foolishness stinks? How can I exchange ideas with a child like you whose mind was polluted against a certain tribe at birth? What has this topic got to do with tribes? I simply said in my initial comment “we need more professionals in politics than professionals politicians” and rather than talk about it, you personalized it and displayed your polluted mindset. Did that comment in anyway refer to Lagos or the personalities that you mentioned their names? Please take your illiteracy and mental blindness away from here. |
Ijoh:Muntula. In your childish warped mind you think everyone who comments in an Igbo person. Rather than talk about the pressing and painful issue of the centuries old dispute between the Itsekiris, Ijaws, Urhobos and Isokos, you completely deviated and got your troubled mind to look at the Igbos as your enemies. Ijaws are larger than the Igbos in population and yet the Igbos are more effective and efficient with their lives. The Igbos have better developed communities and are more civil. “Ijaw will totally wipe Itsekiri out of the face of the earth this time”. If there is an outbreak of war in that area, will you fight in it? Why have the Ijaws not wiped out the Itsekiris in all the battles fought over the years? Youths like you need to think about peace and growth. You need to device methods of bringing lasting peace to your communities and with your neighbors. That’s why government is there, to ensure equity and fairness. Sitting behind your phones to incite wars that would destroy your people and communities is not responsible. |
Niger Delta is a historic territory made up of people and communities within that area. It has been called by that name for centuries because of its nearness to the sea. Although Lagos is close to the Atlantic, it was not and has never been identified as a part of the Niger Delta. What has Bauchi got to do with Niger Delta? So if oil is found in Sokoto, then Sokoto too called be termed as “Niger Delta”. How this senators make mockery of themselves is quite mind boggling. The hypocritical senator, looked at the 13% and thought up a plan to include Lagos. As usual, knowing that he would not be able to secure the needed votes from the south to pass the bill, decided to sentimentally include Bauchi in the north. With northern votes in the house he intends to get enough votes. I keep wondering when some of these political office holders from the south will wake up and be man enough to take their own destinies in their hands. He carefully in his presentation let the house know that it would be costly setting up another commission and possibly make no sense to do that, but in the end showed himself a very mindless person. Now the bill faces a very stiff opposition and I hope it will not be passed seeing that it is designed to make mockery of the Niger Delta people. |
Parada:“Your foolish tribesmen”. Abusive and insolent people like you make decent people avoid Nairaland like plague. This forum was created to have responsible people share their opinions decently with plenty of decorum and respect. In my original comment did you notice any reference to Lagos state or any other state in Nigeria for that matter? If you cannot make your comments without heaping insults on people who have in no way insulted you or your tribe, why not keep your comment to yourself? Maybe you are still underage and do not understand what it means to have professionals in politics and not professional politicians. |
SiggyNG:“gathered that Adewole planned on having sex with the lady till daybreak”. Just imagine the plan of the wicked man. Dem dey write exams until day break? Wetin im plan to examine? Like play like play the man go enter jail write exams by himself for 3-5 years. |
Sincerely one hopes that politics and politicians will not trouble his administration. He pressed for re-denomination of the naira as the then Central bank governor, but corrupt politicians who were stacking their looted billions, out of the fear of EFCC, did not allow that policy pass through. I just hope that his ideas will make Anambra great. I hope industries would be allowed to thrive. I hope infrastructures will get better. I hope the Niger River will be dredged so that trade and commerce can thrive. Above all my sincere hope is that the status of Anambra as the most peaceful state in the south east can be restored. Once again thank you to all who supported Soludo and made this success possible. Victory should belong to all irrespective of political party affiliation. |
Sack Greed, jealousy, envy, bitterness, covetousness, all put together made her attempt to end the playing career of the other lady. Now her own playing career will be over. PSG May sack her and no other club may accept her. UEFA and FIFA May also deal with her. A very foolish thing to do. Also an eye opener to people like her. Jagbajantis intete! |
Mariamoh:1. Good diet plan. Avoid acidic foods. 2. Avoid peppers 3. Drink water 4. Omeprazole BP 20mg daily 5. Ulgicid 6. Avoid hot foods and drinks 7. Avoid carbonated drinks In 6 weeks at the most you are healed completely. |
Cornerside talk to Andy Uba. “however , I have no doubt that our people have made an excellent choice by voting him”. Would Ngige have made this positive and confident comment about his fellow party man, Andy Uba? No! Parties aside, without doubt, Soludo towered higher than all the candidates. Our hope and prayer is that politicians should not cause distractions to his government. If we have more professionals like Soludo in politics than professional politicians, our country will move forward. “The election has come and gone and it is very free, fair and credible”. But his party man Andy Uba disagrees. “Only one person would emerge a winner in this contest, more so, when the seat of the Governor of Anambra State can only be occupied by one person at any given time. I therefore urge the other candidates to be good losers and join hands with the Governor-elect to give the state the best”. I sincerely hope that this comment is not a sort of mockery directed at Mr. Andy Uba. |
Anambra leads the way. Inspite of the killings and destructions, the great people of Anambra state have shown that certain people can be trusted to lead them. They have shown how democracy works. Anambra is a state where democracy works in households. You earn your leadership as it is not handed to you on a platter. Hopefully after this the carnage will end. Soludo is the most trusted person using the political platform to move Anbra state to greater heights. A better economy is envisaged. Better infrastructures are envisaged. Better people are envisaged. Hopefully the likes of Andy Uba, Ozigbo, Maduka, etc, can join hands with him and the countless billionaires in Anambra state to make the state better. |
