toujurs:Naso one guy like that in those days for Cotonou, dem dey call am SOJ. Na beg e dey beg women say make dem only let half enter small. Beninoise women dey shout say “son gbangala c’est tres grow”. That is that gbangala too long. Na hand control e dey use oooo no be waist! |
Hahahahahahahaha He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day! |
abbey621:Atlanta ko, Atlantic ocean ni. How your unnecessary beer parlour and Baba Ijebu arguments make you feel cool is very mind boggling. When has defence not been part of the game? I see clearly that you do not read before responding. My point remains that Wenger brought changes to football. I hope you do not wear helmets on your head that prevent you from grasping things? Thank you for closing the argument from your side anyway. Hopefully you get a small win with bet9ja this weekend for some drink. |
Adah Ameh has not reasoned well. If the governor only assured on free delivery what would have happened? What's the "shameless" in it? She only looked at the N500 and not the total package. For some women it could go for over N50,000. By the way, what contribution has Ada Ameh made in terms of care for the less privileged? Many women remain in the hospitals after delivery, without money to pay and detained by doctors. It shows that the public health system in Abia is good and can cope with the challenges. People should not be sentimental about this N500, but look at the overall effect in the lives of women and families in Abia state. Now men can go to bed and sleep well with the assurance that delivery fee has been taken care of. |
Na today? The days are long gone! Nans where the vice has different PAs and justifies it? The strong unionists of those days are the politicians of today. They struggled to get into positions of power. They understood the language of those days. They will apply the same language today. That language seals their lips. That language is called EGUNJE! Once the get it they begin to stammer with their words. That ends it all. The gullible citizens are left to suffer more. Jagbajantis intete. |
NwaAmaikpe:Chai. Did you deliberately want to make a fool of yourself with that comment? If someone like you becomes a policeman, you”ll be a very big danger to the society. You will always turn the truth on its head. To give you better “konk” for head dey hungry me. |
He was charged, yes. But what was the charge. Hopefully it was nothing less than an act of terrorism. Others have been so charged and I hope his name should not get him a lesser charge. |
RichDad1:“This people has taken their baby factory biz to Brazil”. In an attempt to make mockery of a certain tribe and the subject matter, you have failed to write a simple sentence with good English. Next time, please do not display your poor grasp of English with such childish arrogance. Shay shay shay shay shay shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
abbey621:See your life there? Bet9ja spirit has completely possessed you as I see. “How many times has Brazil won the World Cup since 2000”? In all who leads in terms of World Cup collections? By the way how many times has Portugal won the World Cup? Are you conversant with football at all? I tire for you. Even Mourinho insisted that Wenger should be respected for his contributions to football, irrespective of their battles. “......that one na coach”? Yet FIFA has him in charge of global football development. If he holds such a position where even Mourinho and other big coaches would benefit from his opinion, what else? If football is all about winning, why do bet9ja fans like you smile to the bank when certain teams lose? “You keep mixing up enjoyable with successful”. No. What I have repeatedly brought to the front burner is the fact that success should not only be equated with winning trophies. How much has a coach contributed to the development of the game in all facets? Wenger is not a “cut and nail coach”. He identifies players, gives them opportunities to develop and they become great. Mourinho waits for money to buy the most expensive players, teach them how to ONLY defend, win cups by fluke and fans like you shout his praise. That’s the same job Zidane has done with Real Madrid. It’s very easy. Even you can assemble the greatest players around and they can win cups. That aside what else can you say is his contribution? NOTHING! |
abbey621:My points are not sentimental in anyway, except to choose on your own to look at it that way. Wenger’s achievements are not hidden and you can check whenever you want. “football has evolved beyond just attacking”. NO! Football went beyond just defending long ago, the English just played defensively until Wenger arrived and changed it all. Do not forget “Samba” in Brazil is which made the game so beautiful and enjoyable. I have not dragged Mourinho down, but simply opened your eyes to the reality of the great gap between the two men, irrespective of Mourinho’s cup successes. Mourinho made sure Ferguson was not completely dominant for two decades? No. Mourinho only brought his “park the bus” style of play to remove the beauty in the game and many matches were very boring and frustrating. |
Flexherbal:Agreed with you. But what if his confidence lies on the reality that the thief has been killed, or given money to elope from Nigeria? |
abbey621:I expected that response from you. Mourinho won this, Mourinho won that, etc. The question remains: looking at football holistically, who has impacted more? The truth remains that Wenger revolutionized football in England and by effect the rest of the world. He came as an unknown person from an unknown Nagoya Grumpus in Japan and took English football by storm. The fact remains that he did not win many trophies, looking at his tenure with Arsenal, but in all, every team in England and the rest of the world followed his football philosophy. He changed their diet, he changed their training methods, he changed the pattern of soccer from the boring defensive form of play to an attacking form, that gave fans like you and I value for our money. I can go on and on. He encouraged youth, bought wisely and spent wisely. His impact on English football paved the way for the employment of non English coaches in England, including Mourinho. He may not have won in Europe or with different teams like Mourinho, but that does not in anyway take away his impact. To whom honor is due, please do not fail to honor. Mourinho won several championships truthfully. But ask yourself what value he has so far added to football, except for introducing the boring defensive pattern of soccer that finally became his nemesis. Infact at certain times his players revolted against him. He once admitted that he was considering changing his pattern to a more attacking one. Is he not the one who removed our famous Mikel from an attacking midfield role to a defensive midfield role? Since he did that, did you closely take a look at Mikel’s career. “Every coach has his or her era, show me a coach that has been dominant for over 2 decades and I'll show you some of his or her flaws”. What about Sir Alex Ferguson? Every good coach worldwide, including Mourinho admitted that Wenger revolutionized football. That’s what I am letting to know. |
Gamer999:Abeg eh go to the nearest KFC around you, order anything you like make I pay. You got it absolutely! |
Bros no take soup mesmerize people. The face of your soup no confirm if na egusi or vegetable. All that water so inside, wetin e mean? |
Beedude:And you think championships are won by power or having the best players and teams? If it were so why then did “common” Leicester city win the league that year with unknown names? Your Mourinho who termed Wenger a specialist in failure, how far has he gone in the last few years? On two of occasions he has been sacked. Aside from the cups that he won, what other meaningful contribution has he made to the game? To who honor is due please give it to him. The truth still remains that Wenger transformed football both in England and the rest of the world. What he missed by cups amassed, he won by his contributions to the development of football. |
Shuoooooo! Police kill army keh? Dog dey chop dog? I thought police brutality was reserved for civilians and soldiers in turn would brutalize police. |
The clearance was organised by Gov Zulum? Na waoh! Has Gov Zulum now become the chief of army staff or an army commander? Is this not a sign of incompetence on the part of the military? This government tire person sef. |
Gadafii:I see an ex student of Ajeromi Ifelodun high school. Weldone o. |
SlyDev:Is it that you are too young to understand? Or you simply chose not to understand? I am sorry to say that you do not sound knowledgeable. What are we talking about and why are you deviating completely? What has politics got to do with the event that was a reality? “Fake massacre” because you did not personally suffer any loss? Fortunately for you, just like many teenagers like you, you had your phone in your pocket and observed the events from afar. All you little boys do is to come here, delve into matters of national important, trivialize them and make mockeries of yourselves. |
obembet:“Must you married her”? Why na? You too provoke with this kind English. “Men are scum” No. The error of one person cannot be equated to others. Have a nice evening. |
SlyDev:What has this got to do with the tribe? Is anyone talking about Yoruba or Itsekiri? Why not comment on the subject matter. We do not know how many Yorubas and non Yorubas were at the toll gate, yet we all agree that Nigerians were severally murdered and injured at the toll gate. |
ba7man:Chai. How have you allowed yourself to be bewitched and used until now? Hopefully when subsidy of fuel is removed next year and the prices of goods and services increase, then you can be jolted out of your deep sleep to the realization that we have the wrong people as leaders. For your information, Lagos is a state controlled by APC. Infact APC has nearly total dominance of Lagos in terms of political power. The federal government’ which Lai represents is led by APC. Do you not think that APC would have tried using it’s dominance to block any damage that report would potentially have? Even if they did not do that, how do you think that reputable men and women would put their names at stake to submit a fraudulent report? The question remains whether people were killed at Lekki. The answer is YES even if the correct figure is not quoted. However Lai Mohammed insisted that no one was killed. He unconsciously admitted it in his response that three people were killed. You do not need to go far to know the depth of damage done by our soldiers at the toll gate. They may keep lying as it is part of their DNA, yet the truth cannot be covered for long. |
I do not think that even Okorocha would have followed that path of Uzodimma in handling the security issues in Imo state. The governor took sides with the FG against his own people and now soldiers deliberately destroy palaces and businesses of people in Imo state. I sincerely hope that with their voters card Imo people can make the correction in the next election. If he likes let him go beyond the Supreme Court, he will be roundly defeated. |
Nothing that they have control over. They have no control over the dwindling economy, no control over rising prices of goods and services. Worst of all they have no control over the massive corruption, looting and stealing which they used as part of their campaign slogans to hoodwink gullible Nigerians. |
Flexherbal:Terrorists, kidnappers and bandits have actually infiltrated the security agencies. They have been either recruited directly or a lot of our security agents have been compromised. If 50,000 security personnel are sent into forests at a time, how many would be left to secure other parts? You also may need to ask what the staff strength of the security agencies are. I think looking at the problems in the north, a lot of our youths may not choose to join the military. I also think that in the Southeast and Southwest, our government has systematically disarmed certain vigilante groups. They have different armed vigilante and hunters operating in the north against boko haram and the rest. Why stop them in the south and term them illegal? They are the ones who know the terrain and can go into the forests to chase out those evil people. Aside from Amotekun, ESN, Ebubeagu, hunters and community vigilantes should be allowed to collaborate with our security agentsto safeguard our communities. |
Tinubuadvocate:Shamefully you can neither write nor speak good English. That’s how bad it is in a forum like this where irresponsible youths like you prowl around to insult people who have in no way harmed you. People like you chase decent people away from Nairaland because of your senseless comments. Hopefully the moderators can someday do something about rats from hell like you, who have nothing meaningful to contribute to serious national discussions like this one that you chose to trivialize. |
Loverofpeace:Nonsense people. If Nigeria was ever leading in any of them it must yam and cassava. Nigeria leads in rice production, on which land(s)? Is it the northern areas or the southern areas that have been ravaged by herdsmen? Even yam and cassava are now beyond the rich of certain Nigerians. Last Christmas chicken was sold at N9,000:00. I find that Umaru Dikko’s words in 1982 that “Nigerians have not started to eat in dustbins” has started since 2015 to be the order of the day. As it stands now many scramble to get crumbs from dustbins and yet the supporters who have been hoodwinked have hope of a restoration. If Nigeria was ever a leading producer of rice, why then the massive and unstoppable importation of rice and other essentials into the country from China, Thailand, India, Singapore and Vietnam? Even Nigerians import palm oil and beans from Benin republic. Abeg make the man carry im lie dress far. |
Did he have information about his possible arrest leading to his decamping to APC? E enter one chance bus. Even Precious go take am make yeye. Now no Wike and no Fayose to fight for him. Over to APC. |
Idamond:No be only cereal and corn flakes, na Cyril with plantain chips. No mind the bros o as e dey form. Reach im house you go see either ogi or millet or kunu for table. |
Chai APC. They bewitched and confused the citizens in 2014. They made us believe that removing subsidy would create more poverty and problems. They were given power by the people and they have institutionalized poverty. Now they have taken several loans, VAT increased, cost of goods and services over the roof and in the extreme hardship inflicted on the people, they have chosen to remove that same subsidy. Who would they term as “poor” when distributing the miserly N5,000? And by the way when fuel cost increases and transportation price is jerked up beyond the power of the people, how can N5,000 carry the so called poor for one month? In building rail lines, rather than spread them across the country, they extend the lm to Niger republic, helping that country build their own rail lines. Nigerians with this story have been put on notice that next year will herald the “next level” of extreme hardship and poverty going by their promise of next level in 2015. |
Nothing more than the usual lie was expected. |
