Generalwoodz:Hahahahahahahaha. Many people lamented then of no money just like the present time. |
I think OP just wants us to know how things were then in 1982. Our N500 exchanged at 50 kobo too easy dollar. Times have changed all over the world. The whole world has experienced changes in the costs of goods and services in these 39 years, including the USA. For us here events have overtaken a lot of things. Civilization has advanced. We do not drive the same cars driven in 1982. We do not wear the same clothes. Design of houses changed, technology has advanced, etc. |
Hahahahahahahaha Can we also call them herdsmen? |
Aufbauh:The “bros Idris” part make your comment very very very funny! |
Maybe if them know say VP dey pitch dem go fear and respect am go lose. The man sef think say na joke the people dey there. Dem take hammer give am six kondo! |
haslaw:You expose yourself more as an uneducated and uninformed person. Maybe you have never heard the words "South east hub" in terms of gas reserves. We are talking about the south east and there you are talking about Kogi state. It is quite unfortunate that a forum like this allows uninformed youths like you to make irresponsible comments and get away with it. I am very certain that you are not able to provide for yourself and yet you call people clowns, parasites and criminals. Take a personal look at yourself and tell yourself the truth about yourself Remember once again that you are a complete MUNTULA. |
Safyqueen:Have you deliberately avoided the plain truth that politics and power have brought this country to this level? Are you saying that ethnicity, tribalism and religion are not the main issues confronting us today? Can you out of the political class we have today point out one nationalist? Do you want to dodge the biased statement made by our president that an attack on boko haram is an attack on the north? What about other insensitive statements by certain political leaders that have polarised our society and set tribes against each other? Do you want to pretend that the Fulanis chase people out of their ancestral lands by killing them and destroying their means of livelihood? If these pressing issues are not addressed, please tell me how emotional wounds would be healed and peace restored considering the women raped and people murdered. Even as the likes of El Rufai ask for public funds to finance what should be private enterprise, how does government intend to restore farms/economy destroyed by herdsmen? Should farmers stay hungry? How can we talk about one Nigeria when certain political leaders from the north tell the southerners that the presidency is the right of the north? Do you not see how do divided this country has become in this present dispensation because of very poor political leadership, corruption and selfishness? Why do we keep pretending in the face of the realities presented to us? Do you think it was an easy decision by the southern governors to keep herdsmen away from people's farms and public roads to avoid more carnage? Bro, irrespective of the situation, say the truth always and be free. We are all frustrated and wish to live in peace and harmony, but if uninvited visitors come to your house with an intention to harm you, surely you will clap for him. If you could not find sense in my initial comment, I wonder what you were thinking. |
LibertyRep:That's exactly the way it is. The governor seemed to have played to the gallery. If he could release funds through the commissioner, why not release funds to the management and get the commissioner to do some oversight function there? I see eye service. |
haslaw:That your big block head filled with beans and agege bread will never let you read or keep abreast with developments in the society. If you do not know what goes on outside your small one room apartment, why not ask for information? You are blinded by your tribalistic upbringing and perceiving a part of your country where you have never been as non existent. You who calls someone "olodo", would have found it difficult to pass your exams. Even if you did, you might have done it by cheating. Ask you friends who have more information than you where the largest gas reserves in this country are located and revert to me. You are a complete Muntula. |
teamoneline:No wahala. Bros why not kukuma learn your own drills through YouTube, find a club and start playing. After all playing is not difficult. |
Nonsense man. A sadist, complete tribalist and religious bigot. He admitted to have settled external Fulani groups who flooded the forests with billions and have now refused to go back to their original locations. All of them agreed that the pretentious jihadists were imported to cause havoc incase their brother lost the election in 2015. Prior to 2015, herdsmen never bore AK47s while grazing their cows. Their impunity is backed by their leaders who say one thing in the day and another in the night. When Buba Marwa chased them away from marine beach, Apapa, in 1996 to the present abattoir in Lagos, after a 7 day ultimatum no one cried. Now that they have made killing, kidnapping, raping and destruction their hobby, El Rufai thinks his fellow governors in the south should watch and keep quiet. We have laws in place, its implementation is not his business. His business now is to tell his tribesmen to keep away from the roads and cities with their cows. His business now is to fund as many as he can from his personal resources to establish ranches. His concern now should be how to get fellow Fulani wealthy individuals to provide their people with funds to get ranches. That is the way to peace. Holding on to political power has in no way helped them to live better lives as it appears. It further shows that the statement by miyetti Allah that they will not obey is backed by certain northern forces who give them the courage to carry out their terrorists acts. If we say the killing and seizing of lands by the Fulanis in southern Kaduna has the backing of state powers, who will dispute it? If an educated person like this governor can tell us that grazing is the best practice in his state, then there is a big problem. What will it take to purchase lands even inside the forests where they hide to perpetrate their evil? How is it rocket science, quoting Fashola, for them to get grasses to feed their cows in ranches? That there is an attempt to colonize other cities, tribes and people is very evident in the decision of the northern governors against ranching. Practice makes perfect, as they say. When we heard words like "an attack against boko haram is an attack against the north". If we juxtapose that with what is presently happening can we say honestly that these terrorists are not backed by people in positions of power? At this rate, is it not better to go our separate ways? |
MrMacinterchi1:Please tell us how it operates and where. |
Jimasun:And you do not know that the SE has the highest gas reserves in this country now? Do you know what it means in terms of revenues to the SE when it kicks off effectively? |
Amotolongbo:You cross mind true true. I know say you go expect make dem look outside when dem open the window sef. |
DrSamOnowu87:TKO. Please wherever you are, get into the nearest Isiewu joint, enjoy yourself and send me the bill. |
Chai “The students were moved to class 7 where they only gist and play”. Everyday new styles or systems are introduced to enable them maintain their usual claim of population advantage. This is the first time I am hearing of “class 7”. Now they just “gist and play” and bid their time until they are pushed into positions of power. Jagbajantis |
mamdanju:How? Be careful what you wish others so you do not experience it. |
Ruthy12302:It may be a lie to swindle you. Please keep your money in your account, get to Lekki VHS and find out how you can secure your Canadian visa. Look before you leap. Do not let emotions overcome you. |
Unnecessary story. It is not hidden that the order was revoked. We all know that some holier-than-thou people tried to enforce the order out of their own overzealousness. Igbo story no go ever let una rest. Jagbajantis intete! |
Chai. As I see woodwork why I no see iron monger or cattle work inside? |
Aderewah:That’s why people like you will always be misinformed. Your myopia is very deep! |
“We will lead Nigeria the way we have led before”. The impunity, crass irresponsible talk, recklessness and insensitivity of some northerners will never let this country move beyond this stage. With all the years that the northerners led, what can they boast of? We are talking of moving forward and the man is talking backwardness, stagnation, ethnicism and rascal racism. The country has been held by the jugular by some selfish northerners who think the nation only belongs to them. He dreams an imaginary population and exposes a satanic swagger, not counting that the south has a huge population too in the north, who if allowed to vote rightly, would take them away from the seat of power. When we talk about north and south in the Nigeria of today, we talk about an imbalance created by them and the British who unreasonably handed over power to them. If they ruled without undue favour, with equal development of all parts of the country, we should not be at this shameful level today where most of the nationalities are yearning to go their separate ways. In their greed for power they have even forgotten to develop their own lands and educate their people, but rather systematically underdevelop their region and create the highest amount of poor people in the federation. With such people as this man in places of position and power, why would the SW and SE not talk about seceding? |
No need to waste time or think unnecessarily. NO BE THE MAN SHE BORN AM FOR. |
JOHNBULLZZ:Who are the rightful owners? What do you know about Ogwashi uku and the throne? Talk about what you know and do not give people misleading information. |
OssyMalik:He inherited the throne from his father. He is the same parents with Mrs. Okonjo Iweala. Both parents were professors. |
Isobug:If na ward too much. Talk about winning a polling unit for any of the parties. |
This is so annoyingly painful. What if the man and his wife sought for children for many years before getting this one? What if the family of either parents did not consent to the marriage? Who knows how the man and his wife disagreed before coming to the conclusion to send the boy to school? The proprietor has been arrested and the school has been closed. The dogs were shot dead by the vigilantes in the community and burnt to ashes. Dogs are never allowed in schools anywhere in the world. Those things have been done, but we must say something about the uncle of the child who took the now deceased Obinna to school. I am of the opinion that his negligence was legendary. How on earth he could take a 3 year old child to register in a school? How on earth could he not keep an eye on the child as the child strayed away from his presence. The uncle should be prosecuted too. The description of the school shows a place without enough teachers or other staff. If this unfortunate incident happened through his wife, by now he either would have killed her or divorced her. A lot of care is needed with our children. Too many schools are out there without adequate protective measures for infants and children. The education ministries in many states should ensure that their inspectorate departments function effectively. We pray for the family as they pass through this painful journey. May God give them the strength and fovourable them with more children. |
That second boy, see as the gun get weight pass am. To carry the gun na wahala. E do body like wall gecko. |
NiceMen:And you did not out of your own deliberate MUMUISM understand the words written by you. Your head like agama lizard's head. |
