[quote author=Money4passion99 post=84633876]That was how our fore fathers were busy speaking English or better still marveling at it until Mungo Park came and said he discovered River Niger ...That is River Niger that has been existing before they gave birth to the fore fathers of Christopher Columbus that discovered their America .And then A woman who has never named anything before not even her own child ,picked up a name and gave it to them. They all accepted it like mumu. So u think Amazon is only one of its kind in the world ?? That is what they made u believe .How many Forest do you know ? Look I don't want to argue with you ..I know what I saw and that was it ....There are many places yet to explored in the world especially West Africa ..There are numerous species of snakes yet to be accounted for ....Until then u can choose to believe what U want ... I have lived in many remote areas in Nigeria and I know what I'm talking about ..PS : I live in Lagos now and I'm in my late 20s [/quote"I'm in my late 20s". That makes you a very young man with very little experience. In this modern age and time you dare not tell us that you did not go into the Osun forests without your camera carrying phone. How did you move around the forests in Osun state without picture evidences? Abi are you a local hunter who goes on his expeditions only in the night? You did not even relate your experience on sighting that great beast. Did you stand from far looking at it or did you get close to it. My brother there is this proverb "snake wey one person see dey be am like python". Na only you see am. Anything you like tell us. But as I said earlier make sure your name is not Linus or Lai. |
Kalu Orji thought that he could be smarter than everyone. 1. He claimed to have given PDP 500 million at its inception. He became governor of Abia state thereafter and ruled for 8 years. 2. He had and still has a volatile relationship with Chief Obasanjo. He escaped Obasanjo's wrath. 3. He was accused of ruling Abia state with his mother. 4. Abians accused him of underdeveloping the state during his tenure. 5. He formed the PPA and decamped from PDP. 6. He bought Theodore Orji's form, campaigned for him under the PDP and made him the next governor. 7. Abians claimed that their state experienced the worst kind of leadership ever thought of. 8. Kalu was accused of embezzlement, arrested and sent to court by the EFCC. 9. He tried at various times to delay judgement day. 10. He decamped to APC and told the whole world "Abia is APC and APC is Abia". 11. He won his senatorial zone for APC. 12. He erronously thought that he would receive a golden handshake and be told by the court " go our son, by the power in the APC you are set free". 13. He forgot Joshua Dariye and others whose sins could not be washed away. 14. He gave APC a strong foothold in Abia state. Lesson to be learnt. 1. Follow your political and ideological leaning even when the chips are down. Tinubu continued with AC, ACN and achieved power through APC when the impossible starred him in the face. He could have abandoned his friends and followers and moved to PDP. 2. A goat that makes the lion his friend will end up in the belly of the lion. All those who decamped from PDP that had power and jumped over to APC are getting their share of the losses now. 3. A proverb says "hernia say e don come na to go be the problem". How can all those who decamped from PDP to form APC now return to power? APC as it stands is teaching the greedy politicians lessons in power. How can he return Abia north to PDP? 4. Those other ones still left who decamped from the PDP should not rest on their oars. Begging PMB does not solve their problems. |
Yankee101:Please don't say this. The case took a very long time and it suffered many adjournments even as it was very clear that Orji was dodging. He was a governor in Igbo land as well as he is an Igboman. Unfortunately his crime was against his own people. It is quite painful and very unfortunate that he put the Igbos in bad spotlight. Some past governors have been sent to jail. I sincerely hope that lasting solution should be found against public officials and their endless looting. |
Money4passion99:Bros who do you this kind thing? No be only Anaconda you see na Anabella. Where in Osun state did you see one? Did you take a distant examination of it not to talk of a close one? Did you touch it or got close enough to point at it. For your information those animals are only found in Amazon areas. Look towards Latin America to find them and note that Osun state is not in Latin America but in the South West of Nigeria. If you do not what is called an Amazon please let me know. They are not in any forests in Osun state. By the way you dey lie like this bros? Is your name either Linus or Lai? |
donprincebigt:Squad keh? No be you see the so called baby snake? Go first, hug the snake and we can decide how far after seeing the result of your baby python hugging. Abeg try first. |
Oshiomole actually started this process in his first term as the governor of Edo state. He checkmated people like Bobizua and brought sanity into the transportation system is Edo state. Oshiomole and Obaseki should both be commended for their efforts. Obaseki improved on what he met and took advantage to increase the IGR of Edo state. Now rather than money getting into the pockets of a few touts and giving them big chieftancy titles and weapons of violence, everyone in Edo state can enjoy better infrastrutures and the state can move forward. Governor Makinde banned the unions in Oyo because of their abuse of the advantage they perceived that they had. Now at least there is peace in Oyo state. Go to the south east and south south and you will find relative peace with the unions. Lagos state has to do something about unions. The impunity has grown in leaps as political leaders seem to need them during elections to secure power and remain in power. During his tenure as a governor in Lagos state, Buba Maruwa banned the unions and they were completely silenced until he left. Now we are told the the NURTW in Lagos generates over 88 billion naira into the pockets of the leaders and their protectors. Such amount of money, using the model of Obaseki, can make even Lagos roads very beautiful again. Several infrastructural works can be put in place. Hopefully our able governor Sanwo Olu can summon the courage to break away from the established order and stand on the side of the people to move Lagos to the next level. Cheers. |
donprincebigt:You for go hug am first to know how baby pythons behave. |
Officialgarri:Saddist and a big tribal bigot. Of all the tribes in this nation, to you it is only the Igbo that can make such move in your corrupted mind. Irrespective of your blinded thought, the truth will always remain steadfast that Atiku would have been a better leader. |
Olusharp:The man who requested the money is the bad man here. It was a golden opportunity that passed him by. It was a very simple trial that would have brought him favour. He is a very stingy and mean fellow. If he bought even 500 naira would of airtime for Pastor Suleiman, I bet you all that even if the Pastor did not build him a house or buy him a car, he would have made him very happy. Give and it shall be given to you; It is a law. If you give good you get good. If you gice bad you get bad. The man got this response because he gave bad. |
No money yet their children attend foreign universities. They give us the impression that they do not have savings yet their children are never in Nigeria. No salaries paid to lecturers here they go on strike indefinitely. The children of Nigerians who attend universities in Nigeria never graduate in time. Those in power embezzle public funds to send their children to schools abroad to the detriment of the children whose commonwealth they loot. When she returns her job is guaranteed in any state of the country. No money yet they get treatment in foreign hospitals. They form all kinds of stories to show us that our hospitals are not good. They are the ones who loot funds and make the best doctors travel abroad in search of better opportunities. Who deceives who? God dey sha. |
CrimeKsmart:It is a pity that we have people like you here on this forum who disrespect and insult people of other tribes when such issues like this come up. I wonder how you came to such a disgraceful submission about the Igbos. When the Islamis scholar made his submission he was clearly speaking in favour of Christianity and Islam and nothing about Igbos/Yorubas and religious inclinations. This uncalled for hatred and malignment of the Igbos as a whole will lead people like you nowhere. How some Yorubas have developed such hatred for the Igbos is not understandable. Now we can see the reason why the hate speech bill must quickly become law. Such reckless comments like yours should land the offenders like you in jail. |
MelesZenawi:No. The fear is that either Obiano or Soludo will lead Anambra state to APC. Ifeanyi Ubah is waiting to lead his senatorial zone to APC. |
idu1:Ah! You do the talking keh? So you take the agent to the property that you want to rent? You seal up the mouth of the agent? Take yourself round the property? Discover and talk with the property owner by yourself? Pay into any account of your own choice? Issue receipt to yourself and tell the agent/property owner the terms and conditions. Bros abeg abeg abeg. |
murmee:Thank you too for taking your time to read through. |
donproject:Opay is owned by young Nigerians. Go and check please. |
dre11:Did you read the part that said that Lagos state did not approve the operations of bike hailing companies? I think we must not hide under the cover of irresponsible leadership and bad roads to support this very unruly behaviour of okada riders. They may serve to reduce transportation time from one end to another but have you thought about the risk factors to the riders and other road users? Before the advent of okada on major roads we all went about our businesses successfully. They appeared on the roads and very soon we started to experience their lawlessness and irresponsibility. Okada riders never stop at traffic lights. If they feel that you are obstructing them they kick your car or hit it very hard thereby damaging it. Police find it hard to control them even as some police officers use them as their personal shops. They are very abusive and highly anti social. Somehow those who prefer okadas have taken to the bad mannerisms of their riders themselves. Please go to Igbobi, private hospitals and local bone doctors and you will see uncountable people getting treated from wounds sustained during their rides. When El Rufai banned them in Abuja central business district people thought their movements had been completely restricted. Go and see how it is there today without them. Years since El Rufai left okadas still don't dare go to the CBD. They have been banned in some states yet there is peace. When they were restricted in Lagos we had peace. Our problem is enforcement and very dubious leaders. Just before the elections they become emergency friends with okada riders. Immediately after elections they begin to remind them of the laws. Okada owners have been asked to upgrade to keke napep several times. Most say they cannot afford it, yet there are thousands who operate hire purchase. I support that they should be banned completely, no matter the name they cover up with. Government on its own should fix the roads and provide more buses to make life easier rather than give room for embezzlement and extortion by transport unions and some dirty minded policemen. Government should stop using touts and unions to play politics and stay in power. Government should be responsible and manage the affairs of the people of the state properly. Cheers. |
The best thing for Arsenal board and fans to do would be to beg Arsene Wenger to return and give him money to purchase players. The moment he left, glory left Arsenal. |
Newguyhere:Very dangerous to live in darkness and foolishness. That"s why we have youths whose only thoughts are of sex and alchoholism. Thoughts are centered around laziness, stealing and gangsterism. Bow your face in shame please. |
ibnew:Clearly you do not understand the processes either in Nigeria or in England. Do you mind to ask questions first please? Answers would be given to you and you'll have better understanding. Cheers. |
Thecvbankng:You are a professional and complete MUNTULA. See you head like bush rat head. |
Onlinealaba:Whether he bought it or he begged for it, the people of Ibusa honored him. Pray for yourself like this: poverty in my life, let me go! |
NtoAkwaIbom:Where are the jewellers in Nigeria? The truth is that luxury items are imported as the are only made abroad. Gold is mined for next to nothing by the rich in collaboration with their foreign friends. Such gold is refined and used to make costly items that the same people go abroad to spend so much money to purchase. I do not think we should blame Davido and other artists for the way they choose to spend their income. The major problem lies with the people in power who loot funds and send the looted funds abroad. They are the ones who do the major damage to our economy. They steal our money and invest abroad to the detriment of our people. Abacha's story is still there. Nobody knows how much was taken abroad by him. The amounts found and repatriated may just be peanuts when compared to what has not been found. Look at the case of rice. Government has shut the borders. The rich have hijacked the market with people like Dangote already talking about export when local demand has not been met. Rice has gradually started going away from the tables of the poor. Our economy is subverted by the political class. They bring up policies that only suit them. They are the ones who import luxury goods in their baggages and never get checked by customs on arrival. Customs officials never dare check their luggages for fear of losing their jobs. What will happen if local industries are given the opportunities they need to develop? If they pick up and and Nigerians are encouraged to patronise them, then our economy will begin to take better shape. Cheers. |
Wisdomkosi:Who is he and what are his achievements? Can someone kindly enlighten us? |
Na slaps make the man face be like say na bleaching abi na battery acid dem rub sample for im face so? |
tstx:Bad trucks and bad drivers too. Very unfortunate. |
Does this fellow have a child or children? If not how do you think that he(she) views parenting? If he(she) has a child or children how would he(she) be addressed? Would he(she) be addressed as daddy or mummy? I think between this felloe and Tonto Dike they are confronting personality problems. Tonto Dike has a son but she wishes to be addressed as a king. Hopefully their children will not grow up suffering personality conflicts too. |
NgwalandAbia:That's exactly what you are, an outcast. A foolish slave boy offered as sacrifice to idols in your community. You need to be told that you are living in bondage. Truly you are one of those outcasts in Igboland without doubt who claim who and what they are not for undeserved recognition. Without doubt you are a product of a weak family foundation in Ngwa where apparently you come from. Dare to mention your name in Ngwa land and I will tell you the history of your family without error. Even in primary six I could write English language much more efficiently than you do at this stage of your life. You do not need to get lost because you are lost already. |
Happyguy201:"Who is going to marry bob risky"? Oh you can marry him...sorry "her". |
NgwalandAbia:Write simple English but you cannot. Write in Igbo language yet you cannot. Well, I cannot blame you. Many of your likes use phonetics loaded with errors when they speak English. I bet you failed basic written English several times. Some human animals in your community in Igbo land are those who tragically give the Igbos the evil tag "cannibals", which they are not. As we speak your community is regarded as one of the most unsafe for humans, especially those who are visitors and more dangerously non Igbo speaking. I see the "full blood" in you. I am very certain your body must be full of human blood swallowed by you, a vampire. I see that you are an Ngwa person. It is quite unfortunate that the Ngwas have someone like you. I have great friends from Ngwa land who I am I am happy to associate with. You are a disgrace to Ngwa people. I can tell you about your community. I am proud of my heritage as an Igbo person, born and bred in Igbo land. I can talk about the Igbo race all day long as I have information. It is not for you, a highly unschooled and unintelligent young man. |
Thegamingorca:Say this prayer for yourself: poverty and jealousy in my life, leave me alone. Do you know the name Dangote? He was born with silver spoon as they say, attended university in Egypt and started importation. Two things were with him: Grace and Favour. Today professors all ovee the world are falling over themselves to work under him. Today Chioma's son has been born with that proverbial silverspoon and poverty will never know their lives. Virgin airlines is owned by Sir Richard Branson. He is a school dropout but his achievements speak for themselves. It is not of him that runneth or of him that willeth but of God that showeth mercy. Mercy, Grace and Favour brought the lady into the home of the rich and mighty. Her life will never know poverty. If she chooses to be a housewife, that's her life. If she chooses to bath Fendi water, eat Fendi food it is her business. How you choose to live your life is your own matter. Focus on yourself and how you can make it in life. She is surrounded by capable economic and legal hands and has a very great future ahead. Leave poverty mentality and let poverty mentality leave you. Lesson to learn: do not be an "economic adviser" to a rich man who you should approach for help in your time of need. No be you teach am how to get money. |
Smithkafors:Yes o bros poor person dey go supermarket. Items are less expensive in supermarker most times than you find in the streets. The only problem the "poor" man can have is his mentality. |
As a religious man what were his eyes doing looking at a woman's chest? If he was fully focused on the discussion or the visitation he would not have looked at her chest. The man should stop deceiving himself and let us know who he truly is. Or did he want her to be placed in a bodybag before his roaming eyes could be placated? |
