jaksmillioniar:Not only are you a complete ode, now you have shown from your very poor English that you are a complete olodo. Even the minutest of animals in the forest make more reason that you and your entire paraga drinking generation. Anyway, you showed yourself off as a bus stop boy popularly called agbero. No be only “film in busstop”, na fideo in busstop. A poorly trained youth from a vagabond, igbo smoking, worthless father. Please get off comments on social media. All you do is fart with your dirty stinking mouth. Get to elementary school first, pass through secondary school and insist that you are taught ethics and proper English. And by the way, rather than disgrace yourself with your poor English, no rule stops you from writing in your language… that is if you can. |
Ikaeniyan0:How old are you by the way? Ask your grandpa for clarification please. And if you grandpa fails to tell you, ask the grandpas of others from wherever you claim to come from. People like you are from Ashama, Abala, or one tiny community and claim to come from Ogwashi, Agbor or Kwale, where you know nothing about. You do not understand what it means by the word “research”. If you do, get that your small ass up and find out. And by the way, what is your business talking about the SE. How have you left your communities in the SW? Face them please. |
VoiceOfTheSun:Thanks for this clarification bro. |
1TrippleCee:Don’t talk about what you know nothing about please. Get home and ask your grandpa where the name Ogwashi was coined from. Ask your grandpa to tell you where Adaigbo migrated from. Ask you grandpa to interprete Ogwa and the Nshi that make up Ogwashi to you. Ask you grandpa to tell you how Ikelike in Ogwashi came about. When you hear the history, never wrongly claim that Ogwashi uku, Ubulu uku, Igbuzo, etc are not Igbos. By the way ask you grandpa why Ogwashi has Umu Onicha as part of the villages that make it up. |
What do we expect from Ikpeazu? |
jaksmillioniar:Ode. Nothing more and nothing less. That's what aptly describes a rag wearing riff raff like you, who does not know how decent people live and how decent societies work. |
Hmm. Where is the democracy in the elections where the conscience of the people is bought with money and the people left in abject misery and poverty? Where is the democracy when the votes of the citizens do not matter? Where is the democracy when those in power use the security agencies to perpetuate themselves in power? As the most populous black nation, where are the good democratic examples that we show to the other nations, when it is impossible for us to get it right? By the way, Liberia just came of of a very peaceful Presidential election and handover. We need to learn from them. If our disgraceful democracy forms part of our foreign policy, something must be out of place. You cannot give what you do not have. |
Difrent:No fingers crossed. Wike advised wrongly to his legislators. The legislators or lawmakers as they are called, should have reminded themselves of the danger of decamping, especially as they are the lawmakers. You do not make laws and break them on your own willfully. Those of them who were first term lawmakers became the worst losers, following a reckless and greedy Wike. Wike has been struggling to retain his structure in Rivers state. The governor is supposed to be part of his structure. No wonder he boasted that he purchased the tickets of the whole lot of them. His structure became an issue, when he thought that he could control the finances of the FCT and Rivers state together. He put a governor who licked his feet, but showed him exactly who he was a little later. The governor may be new, but he obviously is not a novice. He understands the importance of controlling the political structure in the state. Wike may have lost his so called structure. No politician has been so openly desperate in Nigeria as Wike. Even Tinubu sponsors candidates from other parties, yet he keeps it secret. Wike is the FCT minister. He has refused to decamp from PDP, from where he claims to have been made. Now he has also hijacked APC Rivers state from the likes of Amaechi, who brought APC to Rivers state. He has all his hands in his mouth and may choke himself. While Wike was rooting for APC at the Presidential election, Rotimi Amaechi and co., APC members, rooted for PDP. When the buy election holds, expect Amaechi to give support to PDP. Expect LP to take advantage. Do you expect SDP to go to sleep? What about the citizens, seeing the monuments catastrophe inflicted on Nigerians by APC. Do you expect them to vote for APC? Wike is fast becoming irrelevant in Rivers politics. His so called political empire up in flames right under his watch. |
Jimoh Ibrahim keh? Of all people he is demanding for the scrapping of AMCON? Wonders shall never end, as they say. He has had running battles with AMCON for years, with a debt of 69.4 billion. He also had a case of tax fraud to the tube of 6.8 billion. He became popular during OBJ’s regime, after having controversially acquired NICON insurance, etc. How do we expect fairness from him, when he has oversight functions over the same organization that he is hugely indebted to? The same goes for Ifeanyi Ubah, whose indebtedness stood at 135 billion. After several years of litigation, settled out of court this year, with him making refunds to AMCON and subsequently defecting to APC. Pervasive poverty and destruction will not stop in this country until these horrible politicians are shown the way out. It will not stop until the citizens come to the realization that those they vote for simply share their common patrimony among themselves when they meet. |
Hmm. Abeg what about those who members of UPMAN, aka music sellers association, who mount speakers on the roads, with the speakers at the highest volume, in the name of selling music? Please they need to be completely banned. |
OP please tell us about infrastructures in Bayelsa. What has government done to deal with poverty. Bayelsa as a small state has produced a President who served for 8 years; a minister of state for petroleum; with one of the highest allocations from the center, yet in all its years as a state, remains backward. We must not eulogize politicians who get into positions of power to serve personal interest. The primary reason for all the agitations is poverty. What’s the government doing about food security? What’s happening to the roads? What’s happening in the health sector? Can the people access health facilities at reasonable costs and with ease? These are things we need to hear. We have heard more than enough of politics, politicians and political parties please. |
Very sad. |
Hmm. When we are not mai suya or iya alagbado, what is our business with charcoal or firewood? You dey live inside bush? OP, no mind to rub here please. If you voted BAT/APC, rub your mind alone in peace. Those who did not vote APC, use full cylinder of 12.5 or 25kg gas and nothing lesser. Allow those who did not vote for continuation of poverty, hardship and misery, enjoy their lives in peace. Do not bring your charcoal experiment. Abeg OP, dress far o. And by the way, kerosene appears costlier than gas at the retail stations now. |
E dey pai Dokubo die. Chair. What a good time to see the supporters lamenting. |
spencekat:Well their seats have been declared vacant by the presently recognized speaker. The instruction immediately would be transmitted to INEC and in turn INEC expected to set a schedule to by elections in their constituencies. Expect PDP to ensure that they never return to the seats. Expect the 27 to fight in the courts. Expect Wike to use his contacts to fight. Expect APC to fight on their behalf. In all we all expect the people of Rivers state not to suffer any negative consequences of poor governance from irresponsible politicians. |
That’s moving forward. |
seunmsg:And why has he not honored their invitations? Or do you think that EFCC will just declare him wanted without making first efforts to arrest him. Where is the politics in the fact that there is a case of embezzlement of public funds. It now behoves on him @75 to clear his name for all to see. |
Olu Agunloye. How are the mighty fallen. His name forwarded to IBB by Wole Soyinka, a member of his group. He held sway in positions and we thought he was a saint. What a shame. |
Hmm. That’s moving the state forward and not allowing politics trouble their growth. Will Wike’s men call it illegal? Will Wike’s men say their seats are intact? Will Wike’s 27 declare the seats of the other 4 vacant? Will Wike’s men use the courts to keep themselves? Will Wike’s 27 still wait for funding from Funbara? Where will Wike’s men sit in another venue? Do Wike’s 27 have a mace? Who now controls PDP Rivers state between Wike and Funbara? Has PDP national reclaimed the structure from Wike? Will Fubara physically harass Wike on the streets as Wike physically harassed Amaechi? In all Rivers state, just as other states must move ahead progressively. The citizens must not be made to suffer for the the irresponsible acts of their politicians. |
TruthsFM:Dem mind no strong before. Assembly has increased to six people now. Funbara showing them strong thing. Now even the funds requested by the assembly is not the issue. |
Bye be to the 27 who told us that their party PDP was in crisis. Wike must be calculating his next move. |
"In the interim, the Rivers State Government has provided an alternative venue for the House of Assembly to conduct their affairs pending the rebuilding of the complex". Certainly this alternative will not be accessible to Amaewhule and his gang. Going by Wike's angry bust out one day as the governor, the group of 27 have lost their seats |
That's the way the go. Stand up against the rubbish of the political class. |
vanbonattel:Whichever. He learnt it from Wike, the master of demolition. Now Wike has finally met his match in his so called boy. |
cyrusmillz:Mike Adenuga was busy in America driving taxis until his friend who was the son of a Brigadier introduced him to his father. He returned to Nigeria, got connected to IBB and got army contracts to build barracks, etc. Thereafter he ventured into tomato puree importation, got money, purchased Devcon merchant bank and Equitorial trust bank. They sold former national oil to him, which became Conoil, as he through his military contacts, ventured into oil. The rest became history. He made his riches through the military. The same with Dangote who got a loan from his maternal Uncle, Dantata. They used the advantage of their region and the military too. He has always been in the news using government to support himself, while fighting other to stay at the top. Folorunsho Akakija, known in the eighties as Supreme stitches. A popular fashion designer with military connections. Story of her rise through IBB, who gave her the oil block is not hidden. Which one of them can you address as “self made”? They made it through government please and not through skills or industry. |
Abbeggiii carry story dress far. |
Now lost her job in this particular difficult time in Nigeria, with a certain baba at the top. Next Customs officers will repackage and get more careful. Their bribe taking method is more circumspect than the men in black. |
slaawomirr:Did you not read that the eggs were smelling? The greedy vendor and staff should have observed it. They probably went ahead thinking as usual that it did not matter. You don drink plenty igbo, e no come let you see or think well. |
In less than seven months? Clueless and yet installed by the same Wike? Clueless and yet there to ensure that any irregularities in Wike’s administration must be well covered? Never mind. All 27 lawmakers have by their wrong move rendered themselves jobless. Wike too with the upcoming loss of the 27 seats, will lose the same structure he has been jealously and greedily guarding. |
Nice2023:Nothing feels better than fresh tomatoes, finely ground and well cooked. The taste is much better and it is 100% natural. We have been told several times to avoid canned food. |
Why add this humiliation to his pain? What a very sad and painful condition. Hopefully he can push his family to take the decision for him to get back home where he can find some peace. |
casualobserver:Which faction will impeach him? Amaewhule constitutionally threw his seat away. |
