Pakute:Na you tell am to contest before? If she likes she can operate her office in Sambisa forest. She has been affirmed as the Senator elected by the people. |
More women on the list than men. It showed that women did better at the exams. Congratulations to the people of Abia state. By the way, where has Otti been getting the resources to perform projects from? |
He paid the for the form, not to benefit the people of Rivers state, but to satisfy his greed. |
Na wah. Greedy witch. She wanted the entire money to herself. Originally no real relationship business with the man. She was busy all the while enjoying benefits from him. Now shishi she will not get. If death sentence is the punishment for such offence where she is, then she will face it. Her life is in absolutely ruins because of her wickedness. Evil woman. |
At least Kogi citizens can have some respite after Bello/APC vacate the seat. They have experienced eight years of violence, sorrow and misery. |
accordadoga29:Abi. It takes a barren to know one! |
Bragalane:But that is the case already with you. Or can you still use not see it? |
“ Our party is looking into it”. Wike please tell us which of the parties you are referring to. Are you talking of PDP or APC? |
Great achievement by Natasha Akpoti. Thank you to Ombugadu. |
Bragalane:“ I know for a fact that fool as no focus in life”. Exactly what your comment says about you! |
Cruise777:Very reckless, childish and irresponsible. Probably poverty has so overtaken you that you are not able to reason rationally. Did you find out the financial status of Wike’s family before he became a local government chairman? Did you find out how he rose up the ladder of politics , until he became a governor? What was his net worth before he became Amaechi’s Chief of staff? Amaechi lifted him up and he tried to impeach Amaechi as the governor. Did Wike become a local government chairman, governor or minister, just like that? So you do not know that people bigger than him took him up those steps. Did anyone of them make such impositions or demands from him, at least to the knowledge of the Nigerian public? How you youths continue to support and shout the praises of irresponsible leaders make mockery of a so called developing nation. How you watch politicians rape you economically and put you in misery is unbelievable. Have you not read where Wike said that all politicians have their own interests? What’s his interest of installing Fubara, who was his accountant general, as his successor? Why did he hide Fubara in his government house while the EFCC tried to arrest him? What was Wike trying to preserve? Have you not read the news properly? When you support such people, a pug is better than you. At least pigs have identities and can reason on their own. A better definition for your likes is the simply word MUMU. |
What’s the business of Bello with accepting the defeat? Was he the APC candidate? Was he Natasha Akpoti’s opponent? Is it not the opponent who send concede defeat? By this Bello confirmed the claims against him by Natasha Akpoti. |
Congratulations Natasha Akpoti. Ne us to get Bello and his group away from Kogi state. The state has not seen proper development. |
Confirmedzombie:Thank you very much too. Just to add, if you noticed. The six man factional speaker announced the suspension of the Chief Judge. That absolutely is not the business of the speaker. Let's watch and enjoy ourselves how the political class continue to disgrace themselves and the nation. |
Confirmedzombie:Oga you do not know what you are talking about. You just take words as you see and quote them as you like. An example is the word "cabal". Without due process, if you impeach a governor, such impeachment can be reversed by the court. You may confirm about Obi' s crooked impeachment. Our democracy is expected to grow and not remain with this level of pettiness by politicians. We only heard that Fubara cancelled a Wike project; tried to revive some projects initiated by the same Wike. We have not heard from the house, complaints against the Governor and next an impeachment. Obaseki simply made the right moves against the house. He went ahead of them, before they could do anything. Obaseki already by experience knew what to do in that event. He did not need a so called cabal in Abuja to help him out in Edo state. If he got some help, he added largely his own strength and knowledge. Rivers State is on fire presently as we hear. You may check if you have family or associates there. It has become tasking these days to remove a governor. Who would have impeached Wike as the governor? Now the governor with his own faction have responded. All we need to do is adopt our wait and see. |
Where is the mace? The CJ, appearing compromised may go. With an acting CJ, controlled by the governor, the impeachment moves are dead on arrival. Funding for the other 24 members will become a big issue. If they have not received new Jeeps, as is the corrupt tradition, they will not get it anymore. They will be financially strangulated by the governor. Godfathers long ago taught godsons how to return fire for fire and have some peace of mind. With Obaseki as his political enemy, Obaseki may teach Wike some lessons, using his experience with Oshiomole. However for me, it is a game of power. Let's wait and see how Fubara and Wike play it. |
Very sorry. |
Hmmm |
What if it is not CNG dispensed by some stations? |
LeoDeKing:Na today you bend? |
Well said by Atiku. Atiku was part of the corruption, painfully. He could not hypocritically be talking of six geopolitical zones, while he contested when it was the turn of the south. The election presented clearly the opportunity to show APC the door, but Atiku damaged that opportunity. Unfortunately Nigerian politics is all about corruption. Again, just like Rotimi Amaechi said, the citizens always accept the rubbish thrown at them by politicians. With the level of poverty in the land, 340 legislators purchased vehicles valued at 160 million each and the citizens just shut their mouths up. I long ago concluded that the Nigerian voters were bewitched by politicians, who used very strong charms. |
OmoFiditi:Wike said he would not interfere in the governance of the incoming government. He advised Fubara to be wary of those hellbent on creating a rift between him and the “state’s elders”, saying if the governor-elect allows such ideas, then “enemies will catch you”. “We will not disturb you from running your administration, but we will not allow you to make us cry. We want you to succeed more than us so that when we are passing on the road, we will raise our shoulders and say we told you that he would do better than us”. “You have to be firm and take decisions. Decisions you will make may not be palatable, and they shouldn’t be palatable to everybody. No one decision you will take, and everybody will be happy. People will criticise you”. “You see the way I related with our elders. You see the way we have respected Sir Dr Peter Odili. The day you run away from them, enemies will catch you. And it is the work of enemies to make sure you don’t succeed”. “You have not been inaugurated; see what they are posting that the governor-elect is quarrelling with the outgoing governor. That is to show you where they are coming from and where they are heading. But I know they will fail. You have been in the system”. “The essence of government is for us to touch and impact on the lives of our people. That is what it is. Among the chief judge and speaker, we have had a robust relationship. It has never been antagonistic. If I had a hostile assembly, we would not be where we are today”. “If I had a hostile chief judge, the same thing. But God has blessed us in such a way that we have always complimented each other and worked collectively, and that is the result we are seeing today. And I also appeal that whoever is going to be the speaker, be careful”. The above from Wike in tbe 28th of May, 2023, at the thanksgiving ceremony to handover to Fubara. One can safely say that Wike never planned peace of mind for Fubara. |
seunmsg:What’s the business of Obidients with the comment? Couldn’t you respond intelligently if you had something reasonable to say? |
That’s alright. At least the people of Rivers state can have an idea of what happened to their resources in the years of Wike as the governor. EFCC will do the needful, arresting Fubara, and now that Wike is a minister, they can equally arrest him and find out the source of his humongous wealth. Maybe now Wike can speedily decamp to APC for his protection, as they say. |
Wike protected him when the EFCC searched for him. Fubara appeared to hide secrets known between him and Wike, concerning the resources of Rivers state. How Wike grew to have such humongous wealth needs a research. Anyway, we now face another godfather/godson battle. Fubara is lost between loyalty to Wike/APC and loyalty to PDP. How the members of the state assembly plan to impeach their speaker, who has not exceeded six months, just to drive home a point is mind boggling. The control of political power between Wike and Amaechi appears to have taken another turn. Wike wants to remain in charge of PDP in Rivers state, while in control of the APC structure. Amaechi who apparently got his supporters to vote for Atiku, appears to be on his way back to PDP. Rivers state PDP has a new leader in Fubara. The attempt by Wike to remain as The Godfather/party leader will not end well, especially as the governor would like to assert his new found authority. Are we going to witness another seven man state assembly impeaching the state governor? Let’s wait and watch. |
Hmm |
Superwave16320:Wailing has killed you there already, with your agama lizard like head, Mr. Suffering and smiling to death. |
Na jealousy dey kee that Samklef. Abi low patronage join am sef. How person wey dey America dey behave? |
treesun:Bros abeg all these names na Cotonou the areas dey? I bow for the names o. |
Superwave16320:Like father, like son. Worthless gay of a father, worthless gay of a son. Imbecilic father, imbecilic son. That’s exactly you and your barbaric father. Truthfully your father was transported as a refugee, so you understand how it works, in that capacity as a refugee. I am sure that your father was transported in an omolanke to wherever you reside presently. You too will move in a wheelbarrow. Continue as misery and hardship are synonymous with your name. |
yarimo:Abi? Do not forget to visit Yaba left for your daily medications. |
As long as we retain horrible politicians and a very horrible INEC, final decisions will continue to be taken by the tribunals, appeal courts and Supreme Court. Infact we all now know that election results are declared in two stages by INEC and the courts. If you fail at the INEC stage, then expect the courts to award it to you. No wonder one person who came out fourth in tbe election was declared the winner by the Supreme Court. |
