Olamsoh: Just had the worse experience with Police as I was traveling to Abuja by road. Apparently it’s a crime to use an iPhone and own an instagram account.
So I had a job interview on Monday and I had to leave portharcourt on Sunday,I really hate traveling by road by at this point I had no choice ,we started the journey and everything was going fine , I mean one dude even got us palm wine and we were laughing and drinking , everything was going well until we got to Enugu on your way to nusukka , the police stopped us there ( I remember they were a special anti crime cap) so they weren’t SARS, they searched us and couldn’t find anything before you know, one of them spotted my iPhone and called another of his colleagues, he said I should open the phone which I did, he saw I had more than one Instagram account and I explained that it was for my company , he didn’t even understand what he was looking for
There was no network so I couldn’t show him the content , he said I should follow him to his oga, mind you the passengers where still waiting for me and this is the first time I’ve been to Abuja by road . So I met with his boss nd I saw another guy with them, this one had his own car, and the same issue he was using an iPhone , I was still trying to explain to them , so one said okay let’s go to where there is Network I was like no let me work small, as we talking , the dude that they had his iPhone gave them 4K and they let him go , they said I have to follow them to their station where there would be Network and I’m like there’s Network ahead let’s just go there
The people in the bus were still pleading with them but they didn’t want to listen , I just kept asking them if my bus goes how will I get to Abuja cause I don’t know anyone there , while I was in the car with them, their boss even said if I was doing yahoo, I should I have settled them before I entered the car lol, my phone died and there was Network I kept saying let me charge it and show them since they there’s Network here( the had a car charger). They got angry and said they will take me to SARS mind you the bus driver was following them behind , I kept pleading with them , the finally stopped and the bus driver and all the passengers came out to beg them, the ended up giving the police 5k before
They let me go, worse trip I’ve ever been on, to make matters what everyone kept saying I should stop what I’m doing (yahoo) that’s it’s not good just because I’m using an iPhone If you are using i-phone in nigeria, please get a spy video or audio recorder to nail some of these criminals parading themselves as police officers. |

In US,private deceived can unmask the killer. Get all the victims and phone numbers, there will be a particular number that was used by killer or an accomplice to call all or some of the victims. Interview anybody that spoke with victims 24 hours through before their demise. And so on Most likely ,nobody is investigate the case because victims are labelled as prostitutes. |

madenigga: Way to catch the serial killer.
1. Get a Google Earth Holographic view of Port Harcourt
2. Pin point the locations of all the deaths
3. Measure there proximities to each other, the locations with the highest proximities, chances are high that its the deaths are being carried out by one person.
4. Get all the phone numbers of all the girl's, then ask the network to give u the run down of all incoming and outgoing calls a day before the murders.
5. Get a sheet of all if there ar e 5girls look for one number that is common in all there contacts.
6. Once this is done, and u get a number or numbers.
7. Go to all the hotels with a good sketch artiste and tell the receptionist to give u a description of the killer while the artists draws on a book, if the faces like 2 or 3 receptionist describe is accurate to one get it down into a face then show it to the receptionist if it looks like the man.
8. Make your hunt and interrogate
**The number from the victims sim network should be given a prority with the face as a back up**
This might help It is very possible. If one of victims is related to an high ranking DSS official or police officer killer will be unmasked. I feel someone among our security agents know about it. |

The person who is the chairman is also competent enough to lead to council. In fact, all members of the council are qualified to chair the council. So, let’s leave this silly argument of who is more qualified to be chairman and concentrate on monitoring the activities of the council to ensure they deliver quality advice that can stimulate our economy to the president. He does not even have to be a member to give advice. |

eldoradoxx: How does one explain the fact that people get killed within the hotel rooms and nobody notices that until perhaps the hotel cleaner goes to clean the room. It is very simple to stop this crime. The police should mandate every hotel owner to have complete details of every one checking into a hotel. Phone number, identity card should be photocopied before checking. During checkout, there must be search of the rooms before a guest is allowed to check out. If a guest has visitor, there must be a conformation that either visitor or guest is OK before any of them is allowed to leave the hotel. This can be done by simple telephone call to the room. We keep wasting human life needlessly wise man |

Have you seen the other thread that a woman and her 3 children died in the same bus?
If you cannot afford to buy a car, my post is not for you. If you own a car and could afford to travel in your own car, drive as carefully as you wish, you wouldn't enter GGM. But some people wouldn't want to waste money. I know a friend who is that stingy to himself.
A private car truly doesn't mean one will never have an accident, however, 80% of accidents on the Nigerian roads are due to the driver's carelessness.
Unless you are not familiar with Markurdi-Lafia- Akwanga rd. 95% of the accidents happen during over taking because the road has no shoulder and many bends which requires a long patience and a fast car to overtake with short bursts. I served in Lafia and i cannot count the no of times my life was at risk on that road even when I was driving. If you own car, there may be reasons for using public transport. Many passengers do not bother to check drivers |

May she rest in peace but I encourage those who can afford to buy cars to not be stingy on their life.
Why should this young promising woman die in the hands of a driver who does not value his life.
They say every life is precious to God but to men, some lives are more precious to others.
Everytime i think of public transportation and think of the risks and inconvenience, i ask my self, who am i saving the money for? Am using this comment as an advise to those who do not see the need to own a car when they can afford it. Your argument is flaw. Trailer can run over a car one is even driving. A lot of people own cars and they still use public transport due to various reasons. Accidents do happens. To minimize fatality in any accident, please control the driver or rider(for bike). Few years ago,I had to hit or slap a driver for driving reckless along lagos to ibadan road around 7pm, I reset his brain and he drove carefully till we get to Ibadan. When we alighted from bus, he wanted to fight me but fellow passengers descended on him and I left. Also, I had to call customer care line of God is Good motor on my way to Benin from lagos on one occasion. Driver was driving recklessly, I made the call, few moments later, he received a call from the company and he was calm. |
Politics › Re: How Atiku May Defeat Buhari At The Supreme Court by capitalzero: 10:21am On Sep 15, 2019 |
NwekeUG: During the proceedings of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal led by Mohammed Garba, on Wednesday, a lot of issues were treated.
On the issue of Buhari's certificate, the tribunal ruled that President Buhari is qualified to contest the election stating that Buhari's certificate from the Nigeria military is higher than the Secondary School Certificate stated as a minimum academic requirement for the election by the constitution.
On the issue of INEC Server, it ruled that the manual provided by INEC made no room for the electronic transmission of the results; and that smart card cannot take the place of the voters' register until amendments are made to the Electoral Act to that effect.
The panel said that Atiku failed to call relevant witnesses, who could have enriched and added value to his petition.
The tribunal said that the former Vice President of Nigeria called ward collation agents instead of polling units agents and that the panel could not rely on the account of hearsay, which formed the fulcrum of the statement of the witnesses he brought forward.
Chairman of the tribunal dismissed the allegation that the INEC and APC connived with the military authorities and other security agents to manipulate and influence the outcome of the election in favour of President Buhari.
He said that the allegations of misconduct by the military linking them to corrupt practices and non-compliance with electoral act could not be substantiated.
Garba also held that the petitioner could not bring forward anybody among those he claimed were arrested to testify.
The panel added that the evidence available before it could not support that claim and make it to invalidate the presidential election.
The panel therefore dismissed the petition and affirmed President Buhari’s victory at the poll.
Atiku and PDP rejected the judgement and stated that they will appeal to the Supreme Court.
APC Leader, Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday, mocked the PDP, saying that the Supreme Court would merely adopt the judgment of the tribunal, since the opposition really had no evidence to substantiate its petition.
It is now clear that Atiku and his lawyers will go back to the drawing board to make corrections on where they failed in the tribunal in order to come out with a better presentation at the Supreme Court, while also hoping that the Supreme Court will see things in a different light.
