The us have info on every person of interest in every country. It was revealed some time ago by Wikileaks that they had been tracking g Dangote since he was In his 20s because he was an influential player in the sugar industry at the time. They even had info in his nights out at nightclubs. |
Gafferde:you see those marketers, bank workers especially “business development”, real estate agents and nurses...run away!!! The nature of their jobs puts them in the firing line. You see the 1st three in particular , 85% chance somebody she encountered in the course of her job has smashed your wife. |
a B.sc is a pass degree (aka let my people go) B.sc(hons) simply means you got 1st class, 2:1, 2:2 or 3rd class. it simply means your B.sc (hons) is a honourable degreem, while your B.sc is not, it is more or less a certificate of attendance. |
Kukutente23:Shettima is a thinking man, you could say a bit of an intellectual, he is the kind of person that’s back in the day would have been a professor. People like that tend to say things as they are….they tend to be blunt and sometimes lacking in emotional intelligence as you say. It reminds me of a situation when a friend of mine saying “what a waste of a life” in describing another friend of ours who was even closer to him than me. I know what he meant because this friend of ours was so so brilliant….. but it’s not everything you say. Our friend wasted his potential, it is true and it’s what people are thinking but it shouldn’t come from his mouth. |
Kukutente23:He made a very poignant point about the reward system in Nigeria however he wasn’t tactical. He should not have used the word “mediocre” an he should not have mentioned the name. It is the same point Falana made on TV yesterday, a professor cannot be making 400k monthly while a local govt chairman makes N1m. I am a fan of Shettima, I love the man but I cringed when I saw the video. |
zeestone99:you are sounding like a customer of yours who after showing him the back panel is still arguing that the panel should generate 500w. Think of how such a person would sound to you and how you would be looking at such a person in your mind, unfortunately thats exactly how you are looking right now. You can only enlighten someone who wants to be enlightened. Someone who wants to argue will continue to find something to argue. I only responded to your posts because i follow you as I have a passing interest in Solar and i have learnt a thing or two from you. if you dont want to learn from me in return, it's ok. I have said all i need to say In such a circumstance, and have nothing more to say. |
zeestone99:clearly you do not want to educate yourself. you say it is clear, in the same way as your customers do not read the fine print where things like STC are listed and therefore approach things from a layman's point of view, so also you are doing the same thing. Have you read the constitution, have you studied law to understand the principles of law and how to interprete laws that you now feel you are qualified to talk based on 1 item in the constitution? Several times I have refered you to section 42(1)b that is the law equivalent of the fine print where things like the STc is written...have you bothered to read it? section 42 of the constitution. (rights of citizens) 1) A citizen of Nigeria of a particular community, ethnic group, place of origin, sex, religion or political opinion shall not, by reason only that he is such a person:- (a) be subjected either expressly by, or in the practical application of, any law in force in Nigeria or any executive or administrative action of the government, to disabilities or restrictions to which citizens of Nigeria of other communities, ethnic groups, places of origin, sex, religions or political opinions are not made subject; or (b) be accorded either expressly by, or in the practical application of, any law in force in Nigeria or any such executive or administrative action, any privilege or advantage that is not accorded to citizens of Nigeria of other communities, ethnic groups, places of origin, sex, religions or political opinions. When your customer comes to you and you tell him to read the fine print, above is the fine print of the law. Even if a law is enacted that says gives a community a privilege over another, section 42 says that law is invalid..i am sure you can read and understand English. Section 42 is about the rights of citizens, the earlier a law appears in the constitution the more powerful it is because it is the foundation for other laws. thats why things like what is Nigeria, how many states, rights of citizens etc etc appear early in the constitution...they are fundamental to the constitution. The rights of citizens supersedes anything else. I have told you many times, you are not in ANY position to comment authoritatively on the law. Your emotions are getting the better of you. |
accordadoga30:Their forefathers should have stripped the British of their colony. You don’t have a kingdom, the British collected it from you. you are just pretending you have a kingdom, you are stripping somebody of chieftancy. I am no fan of Obasanjo, he is a vile disgusting man but this is medicine after death. A death that already occurred in the 19th century. It is only in Nigeria you see “Kings” that have lost their Kingdoms, working for their conquerors, collecting salaries and still parading themselves as it they are still rulers. Reminds me of small girls playing house. |
zeestone99:Again you are the ones saying it is there. You are the ones claiming “and” means you must win 25% of Abuja. Again I repeat, it is your lay man’s opinion. You are not a lawyer talk less of a judge, you are not in any position to interprete the law. If I want to install solar panels, I don’t come and argue with someone who was trained and whose job/profession it is. I may know a few things about solar installations but I am no expert. With due respect you install solar panels, you are not qualified or trained to speak as fact, matters of law. What you are doing is talking like a customer who says that because a solar panel says 500w on it it must produce 500w and therefore you cheated him. You try and explain to him that 500w is only in lab conditions but he says no you cheated him. That’s exactly how you sound. Innocent but ignorant. Again I repeat, stick you what you know and stop talking like you are an expert on things you are neither trained nor have practical experience of. If every Dick and Harry can install solar, nobody would pay you to install solar. If every Dick and Harry can Build a house nobody would pay engineers to build a house, If every Dick and Harry can Interprete the law, nobody would pay a lawyer. Why then do you think you know the law more than the judges? Again I refer you to section 42(1)b |
I have concluded both by the way Atiku spent all his energies chasing after Buhari’s Certificate ( that the law did not require him to tender). As well as his focus on CSU, that the man is daft. As I have said before, there is nothing to be revealed that hasn’t been revealed. If your enemy is making a mistake, you don’t correct him. It doesn’t mean you have anything to hide. If your enemy is not spending his time and effort on a wild goose chase, he would have more time to focus on where your real weakness is if you have one. Therefore it is in your interest to indulge and encourage the enemy that there is something when you know there is nothing. |
COMPAQ:What is clear is that not only are too many ignorant people given a platform to display their ignorance, too many Nigerians have a plroblem with acknowledg8mg of celebrating good nes because it hasn’t come from their side whatever that side may be. The problem of Nigeria are Nigerians. |
Savenigeria2023:Clearly you are clueless. These companies divested sue to unfavorable environment in Nigeria and the drive towards green energy. Recent events have caused a rethink of the green energy drive including the war against Russia strained relations with Saudi etc. One of the reasons oil is where it is is because there has been a reduced investment in the oil and gas sector globally and now they are paying for it. Only 2 days ago, the UK announced they have shifted the ban on new petrol/ diesel cars by 5 years because they realize it is unachievable. The war with Russia has taught Europe they need friendly gas suppliers. Green or no green they will need gas. Nigeria has more gas than it has oil. |
zeestone99:Clearly the only interpretation of the law that is acceptable to you is your Interpretation. The law is clear, that people chose to misinterpreted it is not the problem of the law. The law is very clear, again read section 42(1)b. |
netricoin:None of this says where he got more votes than Atiku talk less Tinubu. He wants to use Gbajue to become president!! |
zeestone99:What I am saying is it is pointless arguing over our opinions of the law, you think it means a candidate must get 25% in FCT, I think that is not what the law says. Our positions are opinions. Neither of us are qualified to parade our opinions and thoughts as fact. It is for the court to determine what is the law,.....not you, not me! There is a reason why there are courts and why you can appeal a ruling. You ask me how does it sound? Laws and courts are there for a reason. Anarchy is when citizens do not respect the rule of law and feel only their interpretation of events and the law is right. Nobody ever said anywhere that Abuja is a state, if you can find anywhere where any law or court has said Abuja is a state please feel free to show me. The law says in the practical application of the law it should be treated “like” a state. Except one is not properly grounded in English, a basic understanding of English will tell you that to be like something is not the same as being that thing. “He is like my son” does not mean “he is my son”…..English!!! Treat him like my son does not mean he is my son…..English!!! If he were my son, I wouldn’t have or need to say” like”. Again these are opinions, the court will interprete and make a judgement. In your house you are head of the house. If your kids are fighting and you deliver a judgement, more often than not it will not please one child but if the other child refuses to accept your ruling, the. You will have anarchy in your house. You are the head of your family because your word is final. The minute your children do not accept your authority, your in your family and hence your family is finished. In a football match, 2 of us will sit side by side and see different things, one says its a penalty, the other is adamant it is not....that is why we have referees and the referees verdict is final..the minute the referees has no authority, the game of football is finished. it is not my opinion or yours that matters but that of the referee. It is similar with the court system......the Supreme Court is right not because it is right but because it is final. If you cannot accept that principle you do not deserve democracy or understand the rule of law. PS: read section 42(1)b of the constitution. |
juman:How do we even know the document he “leaked” was genuine? The guy is a nuisance Abeg! |
zeestone99:Does it? There is a difference between what the law says, what you think the law says and what you want the law to say. What the law says can only be interpreted by the court. What you think the law says is based on your knowledge, common sense, objectivity , the more knowledgeable and objective you are, the closer you are to the facts. What anyone thinks the law says is their opinion not fact. Thirdly what you want the law to say, this is based purely on how you want the interpretation of the law to favour you. Like you saw the law is the law, the only people qualified to interprete the law are judges, everything else is just opinion…..and you know what they say about opinions…… The problem is lay men, many not properly educated, enlightened, intelligent and most certainly having no legal education or even read the relevant provisions of the law, giving their opinion as fact! In any even if the courts make the interpretation that 25% is required in Abuja, the rerun will be between the person who came 1st and the person who came 2nd, since the person who came 3rd did not challenge the person who came 2nd and made no attempt to prove he came 1st. |
please look at the US elections history. Democrats always win D.C their equivalent of FCT, with huge margins 90% etc, they dont say because Trump only got 9% he cant be president. The republican party has never achieved 10% in D.C at least not since 2000, yet Republican Bush won 2000 & 2004 and Trump once 2016. D.C doesnt have a governor either, it is governed by a Mayor. It is only in Nigeria you see this kind of desperation and irrationality |
Posh2018:It is worrisome...no jokes! there is nothing more dangerous than irrational people. |
nairalandkachy1:the document you posted clearly says personal assistants not speacial assistants. Secondly so long as he is not paying them with state funds ( which i am sure he cant) he can do what he wants. |
kayusely70:I am genuinely mortified at the rate at which seemingly educated people have lost their ability to process information and think rationally. How they embark on paths that any right thinking person can see from the onset will lead nowhere and how when indeed as expected it doesnt they double down on another senseless path. Forget about our differences whether political, tribal or religious, this is very worrisome. A day after the election, a whole SAN and former national chairman of the NBS came on TV to say you must win 25% in Abuja....how does that make sense to any right thinking lawyer? ..these guys have lost it. One Doofus here called toks2008 is talking about a diploma certificate with the wrong sex on it as evidence. Do typists and admin staff not make errors on certificates? have you managed to track down this female Bola A Tinubu? In any event did Tinubu present this certificate to INEC and is it a certificate issued by CSU? But if you listen to the Doofus, his whole premise is based in this certificate. They will now lose a case that had no merit and will want to burn down the country. It really is so so so sad. I can disagree with people and respect them but stupidity is nauseating!!! |
ValarDoharis:He who asserts must prove. |
ValarDoharis:this is not speculation this is fact, I have read the judgement have you? google it again the problem like I say is you people talk out of ignorance and dont bother to verify, investigate despite having on of the worlds most valuable information tools in your possesion. Do you understand the game of diversion? Sometimes if i know you are barking down the wrong tree, it is in my interest to encourage you to waste your efforts on a path i know will lead to nothing.
|
ValarDoharis:Look my friend (and to all those reading this) many of you do not actually and have not read the petition before the court in illinois or the judgement. let me give you a summary. There are 4 requests sought by Atiku. the court granted all 4 however: requests 1-3 are discretionary (they must provide if they exist) and CSU has already stated they do not keep records e.g copies of actual certificates. request no4 is irrelevant because it has already been presented before the court in Nigeria. Summary: the whole exercise like all Atiku's fishing exercises with Buhari is a waste of time. there will be nothing new presented at the supreme court. Again most people on Nairaland do not bother to use the valuable tool before them to fact check or investigate before they post. |
Toks2008:I am sure you remember I have told you many times not to. I noted your user ID long ago as a brainless low IQ wannabe. |
jojothaiv:You are very correct and unfortunately the history of the looting of the Nigerian state is not without the connivance of insiders and outsiders. All the stole monies, crude, gold etc ends up in the west and they know it’s source. They are not going to help us unless we help ourselves because it’s not in their interests. That said it doesn’t mean he shouldn’t say it. That said just talking without attacking it at home is pointless. |
Toks2008:You really are making a fool of yourself |
slowice:You mean your own version of justice. And that is the problem with you people, if it doesnt go your way it isnt justice. A man won an election, you say he should be disqualified based on technicalities you havent proven but you who came third and is equally guilty of technical breaches should be declared president because the other side cannot disqualify him based on technicalities. Justice is an election was held and the man with the highest number of votes is president. If you dispute that show where you won more votes than him, afterall you were all shouting that you were doing your own PU by PU count....why have you not come up with the figures that prove Obi won? You dont need INEC or Court to prove the figures if you have the figures and if indeed you won. You can add, You have your own certified copies of results of every PU. why arent you publishing the figures? Forget about INEC, Court, show us your figures, if you can I will join you in demanding that Tinubu be removed. |
Toks2008:Ignore the facts that I mentioned and focus on the fact that you were rightly called out as a doofus. Is anything I said about introducing new facts wrong? Are you not truly daft with a history of daft posts? What have I said that is wrong? What is amazing is how everyday we begin to understand that cramming and regurgitation at exams does not equal intelligence or enlightenment. |
IfnobeGod20:if you had even experienced common sense in your family or school you wont have typed what you typed |
ojobek:Oga we are discussing law here. The courts do not make judgments on sentiment or opinion but on the law, facts and what you can prove according to known established procedures that all lawyers are fully aware….which is why they spend 4 years studying law. The court is not going to jail you because everybody believes you stole, they will only convict you if they can prove you stole. Or else anybody can accuse anybody and have them convicted without proof. An appeal court is not a retrial. At a retrial you can introduce new evidence, call new witnesses etc. at an appeal court, you are saying the judge was wrong….that is your entire case, that the judgement was wrong. So to determine if a judgement was wrong the only things you look at are the things you brought to court for that judgement. If I rightly at the time pronounce you not guilty because the prosecution couldn’t provide evidence you stole. Then if they appeal my judgement they cannot at appeal bring in evidence they have now found of the money you stole that they didnt introduce before my judgement. Note this is an appeal not a retrial. Understand this and you will understand why you always lose cases. |
Toks2008:again showing how daft, brainless and ignorant you are. Assuming there is even anything, you cannot introduce evidence you didnt introduce at a lower court. It is not a retrial, it is an appeal of a judgement at a lower court based on what you submitted at that court. New matters evidence, witnesses etc are not admissible because they were not part of what led to the judgement. i have told you many times to stick to gullible single mothers and "i missed marraige" older women, they are the ones too emotionally vulnerable to see right through you. |
