rightopdeep:This is a similar thing mmesomas father said about his daughter. Let us even assume your son is good in biology. Students don’t turn up with similar papers in an essay exam unless someone copied someone. Whether someone copied your son or your son copied someone, you don’t end up with a similar essay without collusion. This is as you said essay, you can’t copy an essay without collusion. |
How is this possible? Nigeria and Niger? Clearly their stats are faulty |
MASTAkiLLAh:There is absolutely no justification for any military action against Niger. This is not our war or our fight. Coups in Mail, Bourkina and Niger are a result of the exploitation by the French and the destabilization of the region by the USA and NATO. Those countries have a right to stand up against oppression and neo colonialism in any war they deem fit. This idea that every country must be a democracy is a western concept that they only enforce when it suits them. Let us be careful we do t get into a proxy war on behalf of the west. If anything, Nigeria should be at the forefront in the battle to free Africa from the shackles of western imperialism. |
spiSeyi:Atiku will be thanking God this happened after he retired. |
Top to bottom Tinubu Shagari Buhari Yaradua Obasanjo Jonathan |
Karlman:It’s actually very believable. Once you become president, you are government property, you can’t do as you like when it comes to security. Secondly (regarding other govt officials) I know for a fact that if you are assigned police protection, it’s not you that will tell the police how many cars or policemen you want. They will tell you this is how many policemen and how many cars are required to do their job and provide security or they can’t guarantee your safety. Sometimes appointees have no choice. |
Web2020:El Rufai is actually one of a few public servants that have a track record of performance in government. What Nigeria does not need are ex-governors like Obi who served 8 yrs with nothing to show and bitter citizens like you. |
garfield1:I think he needs El Rufai too. I think Nigeria needs El Rufai. Just stating what I heard and wondering if El Rufai’s ordeal has anything to do with that . It makes no sense that Tinubu would have nominated El Rufai and would not know he has security clearance issues considering his closeness to Ribadu and the DSS DG. Except he has decided to take him out in which case why nominate him in the 1st place. Perhaps I am overthinking this thing. |
garfield1:Reset the country. Reverse certain anomalities for instance dubious civil service appointments. |
Danladi and Okotete are dispensable, ElRufai is a different kettle of fish. If this came from Ribadu and DSS DG, then this is serious for ElRufai as they are both Tinubu’s core allies. This is intriguing. Rumour has it that Tinubu is determined to clear the deck even if it costs him a second term |
Ikaeniyan0:They never are. Side chicks always have a someone else usually closer to their age because they know the married man can never marry them. Somebody who keeps them warm at night when sugar daddy does home to his wife, someone who has time for small talk when oga is busy with business meetings. Side chicks are by default shared property....sometimes even shared among oga and his friends. Plus older men dont have stamina for regular you know what. |
ivandragon:Same all over the world. Nobody said democracy was for the masses. Tell me a country where the masses aren’t complaining. Work hard so you and your generations will not be counted amongst the masses. |
Shattuck:This is Monday, some of you may be under sit at home but some of us have work to do. |
fuckJones:A pensioner must be busy or….. |
Bigboytinz:You clearly have missed the point. Akinluyi made her name under Obasanjo. She wasn’t a nobody under Yaradua. |
ivandragon:Democracy is expensive |
Shattuck:Remmember Oshinbade? Even Buhari did not know who his Vice President was in the beginning. This is politics. |
garfield1:Perhaps I should also add that in properly functioning governments all over the world, apart from the Attorney general, ministers or secretaries of state are just figure heads, the real work is done by civil servants guided by a policy document of the party of government. Its in Nigeria we elevate scrutinize ministers and seek "technocrats" like they are miracle workers. this is largely because our civil service doesnt work and we are not used to governments that come in with a properly articulated policy document or masterplan. if the government's policy or masterplan on a sector e.g health or roads is properly articulated and targets and KPI set, anybody with intelligence and patriotism can head that ministry, especially when you have experts in the civil service. i beleive Tinubu has come in with a master plan therefore I am more focused on his special advisers than his ministers. |
garfield1:exactly. afterall what is a minister? A minister is merely a representative of the president and if the president decides you represent me at this ministry as a minister but i defer to my SA, automatically the minister defers to the SA. |
garfield1:dont mind these people jare. The law mandates you to have a cabinet but the real power belongs to the people in the kitchen cabinet i.e the smaller set of the president's or governor's men or hwoever the president decides he wants to listen regarding your ministry...the person may not even be a govt official e.g Kyari under Buhari. it is already clear who these people will be...the likes of Dele Alake, Ribadu, Fagbemi, Edun,ElRufai, Bagudu, possibly Wike, etc the others are just there to take picture, represent the president at opening ceremony and cut tape and enjoy the perks of office. For a lot of them they are not the ones going to run their ministries. Watch out for the lady Tinubu appointed as SA of petroleum..she may not be a minister but.... |
Noblechykk:I am telling you how it is in real life. Just as there are some deputy governors that even commissioners dont pay any attention to because they are only there for political permutations especially when the commissioners are the governors own appointees. If you are somebody the president didnt appoint, very likely his special adviser for your ministry is more powerful than you....thats the person he listens to. i am sure you remember how Amosun used to visit Aso rock during Buhari's 1st tenure and ignore Osinbajo and how Saraki called him a mere commissioner and how he was disrespected and sidelined by Cabal members that were not even part of govt. Remmeber how his staff were sacked? |
enemyofprogress:i was always talking, you know what i meant but were just being pedantic but your right, i used the wrong word. |
Bigboytinz:so what? There were 39 ministers in Buhari's govt, how many of them had access to him? how many of them were important? how many did you hear of, how many do you know? You can be a minister to fulfill constitutional and political righteousness but if you are not in the loop, you are not in the loop. Do you know there are ministries that never have any money? Why is ministry of sports always looking for companies and business men to sponsor tournaments? I am sure you dont know that there are ministers (and commissioners at state level) that have absolutely no power even within their own ministries and it is the Special adviser to the president or governor that calls the shot in that ministry. Your power and authority of a minister is at the pleasure of the president. |
enemyofprogress:perhaps i should have used the word "priority"...nonetheless i am sure you got the point. I am sure Tinubu's priority at the moment is not who is minister for environment, women's affairs, youth, sports or culture. |
Stanbaba30:it started when Obi started talking about integrity. when he started talking about production when he is the nations largest importer, when he started talking about due process when he didnt follow due process in his own primaries. Thats when the problem started o! |
treesun:Clearly BAt has penciled down the people he wants in key ministries and he has left the others to be appointed by party chieftains. Those nominees will obviously be sent to inconsequential ministries...at least ministries not key to Tinubu's agenda. clearly this person or the lady she replaced is not and was never going to health, education, defence, finance, justice, external affairs, trade and investment, budget and planning, internal affairs, ICT, agriculture etc....so he doesnt care. |
The only reason Tinubu would be in a rerun is if he wasnt disqualified. If he isnt disqualified, he wins since LP did not prove they won, infact they never argued or brought any evidence in court that they won. So the idea that tinubu's lawyers are preparing for a rerun is ludicrous. Tinubu's lawyers simply argued in court that in any event Obi is not qualified to contest if there were to be a rerun. Actually i realise it is my fault for taking the bait of these attention seeking losers called obidients |
Kenneth4u205:You must be from the south East. |
Spy360:Oga stop using English words you clearly do not understand the meaning. You have not debunked anything. debunk verb [ T ] informal UK /ˌdiːˈbʌŋk/ US /ˌdiːˈbʌŋk/ Add to word list to show that something is less important, less good, or less true than it has been made to appear: debunk Add to list Share /ˈdiˌbəŋk/ /diˈbəŋk/ IPA guide Other forms: debunking; debunked; debunks When you debunk something you show it to be false. Many magicians, including Houdini and Penn and Teller, have worked to debunk the idea that magic is anything other than a very clever illusion. To debunk something is to prove it wrong. |
Smart people know there must be aliens. The odds that In a universe so vast it is only on Earth life exists is ridiculous. Plus every ancient civilization talks about their ancestors descending from the heavens. |
Obi has no case and he knows it. If anyone should be excited it should be Atiku but his camp isn’t because they know they have no case. It still boggles the mind how you can come 3rd and expect to be declared winner without challenging the man who came second or showing evidence that you won, or think that even if Tinubu is disqualified Obi can possibly defeat Atiku in a rerun. The brains of certain people need to be examined and studied in a lab. |
