He chooses the better side of two bad actions.

What APC is trying to say is that no matter how brilliant or good, if u re not Muslim you cannot become vice president not to talk of president. Even me, from the south west, I prefer Atiku instead of Tinubu, though my vote will go for Obi.
Dont be daft, what is better option? A northerner and a Muslim president after 8 years of a northerner and a Muslim president? You know Apc simply chose what they think is the best option for electoral victory, just like PDP chose what they think is the best option for victory. Like I have said, the people making noise we’re never going to vote for APC and your post proves this.

Isn’t it Ironic that an educated man complains about Muslim Muslim ticket and national unity then defects to a party that wants to retain power in the North under a Muslim president. Not o ly does power stay in the north but presidency stays under a Muslim. Make sense of that!!!

The problem lies both with the failure to get the refineries working after 7 years in Govt 2) failure to remove subsidy

We will spend $10b in petroleum subsidy this year alone, that is the cost of building lagos Ibadan rail 5 times and yet we had to borrow to build the rail line.

Even if they do let succeed, let there be an effort at least. You sef no tire for the suffering?

Fela sing suffering and smiling. E show say hope dey. With this baba, it is suffering and frowning. No be the same thing.
That’s mindset is like continuously changing lanes in a traffic that is not moving. It may make you feel good, it may make you feel like you are doing something but ultimately it is unproductive and you are likely to damage you car in the process of changing lanes.

It is the mindset of the intectually challenged. Your energies are best spent on activities that will yield constructive results.

Change for change sake (activity for activity sake) is the mindset that resulted in Buhari and the same mindset of the Obi supporters are exhibiting. Anyone who instead of change for change sake used his brain in 2015 and actually examined Buhari’s record when he was head of state would have predicted the disaster that is Buhari today just as anyone using his brain can predict Obi WILL be a disaster. But my fellow Nigerians have a mentality of changing lanes for changing lanes sake, without examining if the exercise actually brings any meaningful benefit.

It takes an enlightened and mature mind to know that sometimes doing nothing is the best option.

Bullshit!!!

People should learn to think and talk as opposed to emotional rants.

Who are the APC senators? They are largely from the North and the SW. they can’t afford to impeach Buhari.

Many of them depend on Buhari for their political relevance and need him to campaign for them in the upcoming elections, despite the poor performance of his government.

APC will soon empty.
Who is a deputy governor, who is a SSG? Look at every state, they are almost always people without political capital. They are appointed or nominated to these positions precisely because they are politically irrelevant and pose no threat and are dependent on the benevolence of their benefactor for their relevance.

Since 1999, How many deputy governors or Vice Presidents have become governors/presidents? If not for a double dose of good fortune GEJ would never have become governor talk less president.

Ironically Jandor asked on Arise this morning if any of the interviewers can name the deputy governors of Ekiti, Osun, Ondo states, they couldn’t answer. Nobody knows deputy governors because they are politically irrelevant. The only deputy governor that I can think of that has relevance politically in Nigeria is shiabu in Edo.

Don’t get excited by defection of irrelevant people.

Exactly what I said yesterday

casualobserver:
Actually its the other way round. It may not be the same set of people but the same hype that went behind Buhari in 2015 is the same hype behind Peter Obi. if people had examined Buhari's past record instead of blindly supporting him because they wanted change they would have predicted what is happenning now because it is exactly what he did when he was head of state in 1983. Similarly, people are supporting a man who has no track record as a governor, no legacy project, no ability to increase IGR, no spectacular achievement as a governor simply because they want change.

A man whose tenure as a governor during an Oil boom is best described as mediocre and has not shown any ability to deliver econiomic growth in a time of prosperity is not the man who can deliver Nigeria from the impending disaster that awaits whoever becomes president !!

[quote author=SATANICALLY666 post=115112296]Two-faced activist, Deji Adeyanju, has again debunked a tweet he made himself about Peter Obi offering him money.

Mr Deji had accused Obi of offering him money which he rejected. He then debunked it almost immediately by deleting the tweet. Unfortunately for him, the tweet was spotted by Sahara Reporters before it was gone. As soon as SR published it, Mr Deji popped up a disclaimer almost immediately debunking it. He also accused Sahara Reporters of reporting what he didn't say.

However, the double-tongue activist, earlier today, trashed his own disclaimer again.

According to him,

He never said Obi offered him money to support him. It is you people and Sahara that said the money was for support. What he said was that Obi offered him money and he and Oni have not denied that. Secondly your post just proves what he said about Obi supporters.

Whenever I want to understand where someone is coming from, I go through their post history. Like I said the problem with both Obi and his supporters is that brain cells and intelligence is in short supply. All you had to do is browse my post history and you will know where I stand on 2023 elections. Sadly like I said initiative and intelligence is lacking in the Obi camp. Their whole campaign is based on propaganda, falsehood, insults, intimidation, bullying and making noise.

i don't even support obi. i just look at the facts. Atiku was part of the problem. he was in government and his responsibility was to fix power, but he failed. so why should we trust him? He is not in the equation. He is wasting his time unless ignorant northerners vote for him.

even though I don't support obi, I like his story. read his story on how he became governor. he is intelligent or surrounds himself with intelligent people. how do you expect someone to the court gave victory to, to serve only 1 year as governor? there's no sense there. obi defeated inec and the pdp party at that time. one man did it.
. Do you understand English? I said I am no supporter of Atiku! Do you understand what that means? All I said is bad as Atiku is he is better than Obi. Do you understand English?

Intelligent people my arse!!!! If he had any intelligence he would have stayed in PDP and become president in 4 years! The fact that he didn’t shows he lacks intelligence because as things stand neither he or PDP will win!!!

I merely mentioned Atiku Just to tell you how clueless Obi is! A man who in yesterday’s interview doesn’t even know how much power Nigeria currently generates despite traveling to Egypt to “learn”!!!!!

Yesterday he said Nigeria generates, 4000mw. Nigeria actually has installed generation capacity of over 12000mw, the problem is transmission. He promised to raise the generation transmission and distribution capacity to 15000mw in 3 years. The fool does not know that there is already plans in place to raise it to above 20,0000mw in that 3 years!!!!! It shows the man does not know what he is talking about.

Well, you are right. To buttress, corruption is not prevalent only in Nigeria anyway. But we need someone who is innovative like Tinubu but corruption must be dealt with because it's one of the factors that hinder the progress of this country along with poor policy-making by our leaders. In terms of soluble decisions, I know Tinubu is capable especially in the area of innovative ideas. But the fact that Buhari could not do well in terms of economy and security under the platform of APC is why people are angry and if Tinubu doesn't campaign well and strategically it can affect him oo. An average man cannot think well when angry, I just hope angry youths can rethink before voting. Let's vote wisely. God help Naija.
Tinubu is the best option but he will have to overcome the fact that he saddled the country with Buhari.

True I saw that too but I thought on the side of management, follow up and cutting cost. He can be good in that aspect. Just to make sure corruption doesn't exist in our country. Because since people say he's not corrupt, then maybe he can fight corruption through that angle. Just my opinion. God bless Nigeria
Because A man is not a thief does not mean he is a a good manager of resources……that is how we ended up with Buhari. Sometimes a little corruption and economic progress is better than damaging or paralysis of your economy.
