frog12:The reality is that Atiku and Tinubu will both be better than Obi. The guy is clueless and only the emotional or the braindead cannot see through him. |
Ayk8:He won’t even be a good finance minister, a man who could not increase the IGR of Anambra in 8 years!!!!! |
The more Obi talks, the more he unravels, the more he exposes himself as an empty brain and all noise. Unfortunately for him he has no structures so he has no option but to talk. |
Peter Obi always talking so much without really saying anything...always stating the obvious but never specifics of what he is going to do. |
This amateur politician Bashir Ahmed is not using his brain. It’s not everything you must tweet, some ammo you keep quiet in case you lose. If they disqualify Peter Obi, who does he think his supporters will vote for? APC needs Peter Obi to remain in the race!!!! |
Kaiser20:. This election was not about Tinubu, the election was about Aregbesola!!! |
coputa:It shows Obi supporters are either daft or they are emotional and not engaging their brains! How is he going to execute any of his plans if he doesnt have senators, reps and governors in his party? They may even impeach him like they did in Anambra!!! |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Omisore was why they won in 2019, subtract Aregbesola and they were always likely to lose. Don’t forget even with Omisore and Aregbesola the victory in 2019 was very narrow. |
hotwax:they didnt win. The one thing I cant stand about PDP is that when they lose they say APC rigged, they themselves rig. The same thing that happenned in Osun happened in another state...I think taraba, you dont hear APC complaining about rigging for 4 years!!!! |
HIGHESTPOPORI:nothing to do with Davido, this election is about Aregbe! . if APC lose it is because they lost Aregbesola. |
Danielnino00:is he going to govern the country without senators governors and reps? |
Sarsaproko:Nah this election is not about PDP or Atiku or Adeleke or Tinubu. It is about Aregbesola!!! |
rolams:Wetin weak you there? Adeleke is a political dynasty and their base is Ede. Their father was a senator under UPN in the 2nd republic, the late brother isiaka (serubawon) was a governor in 1992-93 so its no surprise, Like I said Ede is their base and this is a ward not a polling unit!!! |
We should stop celebrating all this nonsense. A policeman should be able to buy/build his own house anywhere of his choosing with his salary. A policeman should not have to depend on the “benevolence” of a governor or president to own his home after putting his life on the line to protect ours. |
lexy2014:You really are a dunce!!!! Repeating the same thing I have just addressed. If you are a man you have problems. If you are female I pity your husband if you have one!!! I will not waste any further time on you. |
lexy2014:Did you go to school? If yes did you learn English? If yes we’re you also taught critical thinking? If yes how do you put all of that together and conclude that a guess is a fact? How you you put all that together and deduce that I expect anything from you or anybody? It is probably too late for you to go back to school and relearn English and require your brain especially if long hours in the sun selling pure water has dried it. But when someone says something is a guess, there are hidden implications, one is that he has already told you not to take it as fact!!! English, English. English!!!! Many speak it but do not fully understand!!! |
When you have nothing with which to sell your candidate, you resort to de marketing your opponent. If only the energy you spent on Tinubu was spent on answering the legitimate questions many have on Obi….what are his achievements, accomplishments and legacies as a governor for 8 years? If you did that you may win more supporters. As it is, your support has peaked and abusing people or demarketing the opposition will not get you additional votes. Even if there is truth to the allegations, we can all see his legacies in govt. A flawed man with a vision, a plan and track record is better than a saint with no plan and no track record!!! Nobody is leaving Lagos, everybody is leaving Anambra!!! |

Obi supporters will return to their day jobs as IPOB supporters in Feb 2023! |
ExplorerReturns:If he going to fail people won’t be up in arms, Nobody is talking about PDP’s decision to field Atiku a Northerner after 8 yrs of a northerner because people know he’s not going to win. |
Totilopussylick:Apparently they are doing well and it is you cursing that is struggling. None of their children went to a University in Nigeria. Yet they allow you insult yourselves over tribe and religion. They are friends, their children are friends! When there are jobs in Nigeria those of their children who bother to come home willl get the best jobs. Sit there and be cursing while carrying g your vote to vote on tribe and religion and not competence!!!! |
This guy is headed for prison or yaba left!! |
shortIGBOman:You are the ones causing your own problems in the east. |
irrespective of your politics, everybody needs a friend like Kassim Shettima. he was there putting out fires after Emi lokan wheras Lawals 1st reaction was to lampoon Tinubu only to turn around and defend him when he saw there was no fall out in the party. babachir lawal is a snake!! if he talks about his friend like this I shudder to think of what he will say about his enemies |
SIRTee15:First of all moving abroad is not just about your ticket, you have passport fees, visa fees, agents fees if you are using one of these so called immigration agents, you will also have some money on hand to survive for the initial period. I would say you will spend at least 1-2 million before you get on a plane if not more. Let’s say 1m, If you have 1m and cannot find something you can buy for 1m this month and sell for 1.1m in a month, and take that 1.1m and turn it into 1.2m next month such that after 12 months you now have 3m and are making 300k a months, then with due respect, your problem is not Nigeria, your problem is you and with due respect your mindset will not take toi above mediocrity abroad!!!! The people who have legitimate challenges in Nigeria are those who cannot get a job and cannot raise capital to do business!!! Even maiguards augment their income by selling provisions. |
luminouz:I understand that which is why I said that while I won’t discourage anyone, I won’t also actively encourage anyone. I am just telling people as it is. For some people going abroad may seem or be their only option, I am only saying once many overcome these primordial necessities of food shelter etc abroad, the intangibles will then set in and it will never go away! The point is it is not a bed of roses and be prepared for what lies ahead. I understand that for many it is a question of which is the lesser of 2 evils. The point is neither is rosy, staying in Nigeria or going abroad, it’s just a different set of challenges!!! |
SIRTee15:I am telling you the reality of life abroad for the majority of Nigerians who will japa!!!! I am privileged, I have citizenship, I was a high rate tax payer which means I was considered well off in the Uk but I can back home because there are certain things money can’t buy. If you can raise the money for a ticket you can raise the money to start and grow a business in Nigeria!!!! Trust me if you are the kind of person that cannot find a business to do in Nigeria with the money it would cost you to move abroad, you are the kind of person that will be stuck in a rut if you move abroad. You are the sort that will find they can’t go forward, can’t go backwards once you get there. |
jesmond3945:Do you have legitimate papers? Are the people you are bringing to the Uk legitimate workers? I am a British citizen, I lived in the Uk for more than 10 years I know the system. The question was whether I would encourage someone to move abroad. I wouldn’t because it is trading one form of suffering for a life of certain perperpual slavery for most who will migrate!!! Particularly if they don’t have papers. Like I said, I was born in The Uk I have a British passport, I am well educated I came home. Yes I miss some of the basics but I don’t regret it. I will never live abroad!!! I will never actively encourage anyone either except your circumstances are so dire but I will also warn you that once you acquire the basics, you will be miserable…..it is not a bed of roses!!’ |
AntiTerrorist:What exactly do you mean by encourage? Let me explain it to you as someone who has a British passport has live abroad for many years but returned home. The truth is life over there is a sort of bondage for someone with a Nigerian mindset. You are constantly working to pay bills , no matter how much you earn your expenses rise such that you are a slave to your job, the system entraps you in ways I can’t describe here for sake of brevity, unless you are amongst the few who can establish a means of income in the multiples of hundreds of thousands be it dollars be it pounds. Otherwise yes you will eat well and enjoy certain basics that may not be available in Nigeria for most Nigerians but there are many negative intangibles especially for someone raised in Nigeria. Unless you are a high paying job, $100-200k + life is not a bed of roses. Even at that level you are struggling but can afford things to mitigate the struggles like holidays back home or other destinations. In theory you will be better off than in Nigeria initially but life is such that once you overcome the basic sufferings back in Nigeria, the intangible negatives start to matter. I am back in Nigeria and I wouldn’t go back. I am lucky I can travel out when I am tired of Nigeria but I will never again live abroad….unless I am forced to. With all the problems of Nigeria, there is no place like home. There is a sense of freedom and self worth in Nigeria you have that you lose when you go abroad, that’s one of the intangibles I talk about. No matter what you will always be a nobody abroad….that’s another!!! Would I encourage anyone to move abroad. It’s a hard question because you will pay a huge psychological price for moving abroad, one you will not understand until you get there and one I can never explain to you until you have experienced it. What I would say is, if you want to go abroad, have a mission and come back with if 5 years!!! I won’t encourage or discourage anyone!!! I wouldn’t actively encourage anyone because I don’t want to be the one responsible for selling you a dream that will not match your reality!!!! |
Totilopussylick:If it were nobody would be protesting the Muslim Muslim ticket, they would just carry their votes elsewhere. They are protesting because deep down they know whatever they do there is nothing they can do to stop A Tinubu Shettima presidency!! Below is an indication of where the Christians are that can vote against Tinubu. Look at it and tell me they were ever going to vote for him. You cannot lose what you never had or what was not yours in the 1st place!!!
|
lexy2014:I have no idea but all the drug dealers, fraudsters and yahoo boys in Nigeria manage to get their money into Nigeria somehow. There is a reason BDC operators like Mompha are under watch by EFCC. If you consider how many yahoo boys are in Nigeria right now, they all need their money in Nigeria. So my guess is that it is at the very least half… likely much more! |
lexy2014:Fraud, drugs and the odd $100, $200, $500, $1000 the millions of legitimate Nigerians send home to their families There are estimated to be between 5 and 15million Nigerians abroad. Every Nigerian sends money home at some point every year because we are a people rooted in family. The fact that a man is struggling abroad not not stop him sending money to his parents in Nigeria. He just doesn’t doesn’t have money for you!!! |
