jesmond3945:With your kind of mindset, I’m not surprised they don’t answer you. The truth is you people think because someone is abroad they can solve your problems, they can’t. Most people are abroad are trying to sort themselves out. Because a man is abroad does not mean he can get you a visa or a job so what exactly is it you expect him to do for you? |
tony0806:Which conscience, the one that was on leave when he contested against Tinubu? |
I’m sorry o! But if you don’t like being disrespected, then get your act together!!!! Direct your anger at your comrades in the APC |
Day 1 (looking for Kanu protection): British govt is a friend of Biafra Day 2 (Uk says We cannot break international law): British govt is an enemy of Biafra Day 3 looking for VP : Kwakwanso is a friend of the SE Day 4 Kwakwanso says no VP: Kwakwanso is a Bigot Day 5: Dotin Okupe and Ayo Adebanjo are heroes! Day 6 (after they lose the election): Doyin Okupe and Adebanjo are Afonjas and traitors!!!! |
Nonsense!!! That’s why west Africa is where is it. |
lol @ world class standard |
Kwakwanso is not contesting any election, he will collapse his structure for Tinubu after negotiations. |
Hisxellency:Labour being associated with the Labour Party might not want to put an end to the strike to discredit him. It works both ways. So talk responsibly!!! |
I have great admiration for Pa Adebanjo,,,,,,,but please remind me again, how many votes does he control? |
LegendHero:Well said!!! Like I have been saying the people crying were either never going to vote for Tinubu or are not politically relevant!!! |
Like others who have quit so far, how many votes did he get for APC in His state? |
So how many votes did he get for APC in Abia? |
.
|
Remind me again how many votes did Rivers contribute to APC under him? |
They haven’t collided already based on Osinbajo’s betrayal? |
GEEBITE:Fact |
Toks2008:I have said it many times the most brain dead people are yoruba Pentecostals. The people that are edging you on are protecting their own interests. The Obidients are mostly catholic and Anglican, they and the Northern Muslims will be the ones benefitting if they win. PDP are Northern Muslims and SE and SS Christians, again less influence for Pentecostals. You a fool you want to desert a party where your people have influence because of religion. Everybody knows that the Christians who have benefitted from the Buhari Osinbajo government are redeemed Christians, all the Christian appointments are redeemed. You think despite what they say they will abandon ship to start afreash in a new party and compete with Catholics and anglicans or sojourn into the wilderness? You think your yoruba pastors will desert APC? You really are daft!!! |
Toks2008:You have no point, you reason with your emotions not your head, you are a poor political analyst which is why you misread the Osinbajo situation!!!! You cannot lose what you do not have!!! SS and SE Christians were never Tinubu’s to begin with and again yoruba christians are only 50% of the yorubas! I am a Christian, I am yoruba and I am voting Tinubu. And we are many who can reason outside religion!!!!! The 80% vote on primordial sentiments be you northerner or southerner. Come rain come sunshine they are voting for Tinubu, Atiku or Obi. The 20% like you and I are the ones who may vote based on other considerations. The problem with the 20% in the case of the yorubas is that they are 20% of 50%! So already before you switch your vote, you are only 10% of which maybe 2% will actually switch so your vote doesn’t matter!!!! |
Nosayer:First of all the numbers don’t lie, these Christians you are talking about, where are they geographically , are they Christians that would have voted for Tinubu? I just hate people talking emotionally about politics, politics is a numbers game! If you have enough numbers you make a difference if you don’t you don’t make a difference …….simple!!! The Christians that are really at play here are SW Christians and trust me not only are they only half of the SW yoruba population, many of them are beneficiaries of the APC, I know numerous popular SW pastors who collect contracts from the APC at state and federal level, you just never hear. We know how they will vote!!!!’ At the end of the day, those Christians who would have voted Tinubu and will vote for Atiku or OBI because of MUslim Muslim are not many!!! At least not amongst yorubas in the SW!!!! |
Toks2008:You post on politics like a man devoid of logical reasoning . I remmember you waffling on about Osinbajo…how did that turn out? Let me break it down to you: In the north, out of of over 100m people, only 10m are Christians In the south, the Christian strongholds of SE and SS are largely opposition territory. In the SW, 1) religion is less of an issue 2) half of yorubas are Muslims and many like yourself were probably not going to vote for him anyway. So tell us wxactly how the Christian votes he will lose in the SW ( yes he will lose some) will make any significant difference? You really need to stop posting out of emotion and engage your faculties. I keep saying people who don’t matter like to talk like they matter. This election is about Northern voters, they are Muslims. The opposition votes have been split!!!! The Northern Muslims will determine who wins the election not Christians who were never going to vote for Tinubu or SW Christians, many of whom have vested interests in APC! Is Osinbajo and all his appointees that benefited from him going to vote for Atiku or Obi? Exactly!!!!! |
The people shouting “Muslim Muslim is a no” we’re never going to vote for Tinubu, even if he fielded the Pope as VP. The beauty of democracy is that they have a choice! They should vote for Obi or Atiku and let us rest abeg! |
Omooba77:Says the man who stole the ticket meant for the south!! |
Abbo? Is that not the HIV senator that was caught buying intimacy gadgets? |
OldNairalander:I will be looking out for you but Unfortunately, like MikoB of Osinbajo fame, I know you will be nowhere to be found!! |
OldNairalander:Again you are arguing with the arrogant mindset of the 20%. I am not here for continuous arguments to nowhere. People who have been winning elections since 1979 and who know the 80% have decided on a Muslim Muslim ticket. Time will tell if they are right. You are not even an APC suppprter, so I would have thought if you really feel it was a miscalculation you would be happy? If I were you I would be focus on getting your Northern votes and your 25% in 24 states and leave Tinubu to rue his miscalculation if indeed it was a miscalculation. I don’t understand people crying more than the bereaved. When Obi left PDP I was happy because it meant Atiku lost SE votes, when Obi lost Kwakwanso, I was happy because he lost any Notthern penetration. If Tinubu has made an error, then you should be happy and leave it at that!!!! Except maybe deep down you know I am right and your real problem is you know you’ve just been checkmated!!!! |
OldNairalander:There are areas where our needs intersect but my point is, the people who determine elections in Nigeria are the 80% and like it or not, evidence shows they vote on primordial sentiments, how else you do explain A Buhari 2nd term? You can continue arguing all you like, you are merely exemplifying the arrogance of the 20% of which I spoke!!! A failure to understand Nigeria and a feeling that your reasoning is or must be shared by the 80%!!!! |
Myfavourite:A politician who doesn’t understand his electorate cannot win elections…never forget that! The mistake people like you and I make is we think we represent Nigeria, we don’t!!! We represent only 20% of the population. The 80% who represent the majority of Nigerians don’t have the same needs as you and I and don’t think like you and I. The politicians focus on the 80% because they are the ones that elect them…never forget that!!! The 80% don’t care about the things you care about so the politicians are not compelled to make the you care about a priority! The 80% are the ones who vote, at least they are the ones whose votes are greater and they are the ones who are delegates!!!! This is where people like you and I ALWAYS get it wrong, we are a minority thinking we are important and we have spent years in the comfort of our homes allowing the majority to pick the candidates and then vote the winners thinking they have the same aspirations as us……they don’t. The 80% are interested in things like borehole, kerosene, whereas things you care about e.g diesel, exchange rate, electricity are not a priority to the 80%! The 80% only care that their children go to school, the 20% care about quality of the education, it’s no surprise which one wins out! A politician addresses the issues of his voters, we the 20% are not their priority!!!!!! Agberos will always own the streets because Agberos are part of the 80%. No politician will dare remove them in the name of free flow of traffic because they are more important than you and I…..FACT!!!! You and I are the ones who need to get down from our high horses and face our reality….we live in a poverty ridden, poorly educated, unenlightened country and we are a minority!!!! |
rickyrex:Relevant enough to pin the hopes of The Labour Party! |
foleskay:Do you people actually check the stats and data before you talk? Out of 100m plus Northerners, only 10m are Christians! |
The man was negotiating making Obi his VP and yet he says if he doesn’t get it he can recommend Tinubu, not Peter Obi. And Peter Obi thinks he can get votes in the North? |
Joe4real1988:That is democracy. This is why I am no fan of democracy in an undeveloped uneducated society like Nigeria. The masses and the needs and mentality of the uneducated and unenlightened will always determine the future of the educated 20%. |
obynzo:“If I cannot get it I can recommend him” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTZQHSIRXnY You can start watching around 55 minutes |
