These will be your guard as you search for truth.

Read Atheistic materials by Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins...so that you can shred off every bits of irrationality as it pertains to your religion. And apologetic materials too like those of Jim Warner Wallace to defend your Christian faith with rationality.

2. You're in the best position in life at the moment---mechanical engineering student, avid reader and a fresher. Take leadership position; look for position that will make you address people whether big or small. Find audiences; find people to teach; find a stage to talk; take hold of a microphone. There can be multiple truths and what works in scenerio a may not hold water in scenerio b.. eg democracy/country.

The first thing we are taught in university is that there can be multiple truths and providing logical arguments to support whatever theories being postulated earns the best credit. This is the basis for western civilization, continuous open debate building on existing knowledge to improve knowledge itself. If we can't leave open our theories to be examined by rigourous questioning , it may be safe to assume our theories/opinions are subjective truths based on sense experience rather than reliable data and we can never come to any absolute conclusions.eg western statistics injected into African realites with different socio economic factors which affects human behaviour, the very essence of what we are learning with the redpill.
