Peterlove11:On the alternative, after you must have ruled out lose connections on the battery and also ruled out short circuit, a discharge resistor can come in handy. Will Prowse in his you tube videos uses some big a55 resistors to stop those sparks. |
IYGEAL:@Bolded. Sorry about the inverter. Can be pretty distressing not having an instant backup for periods like that. With that spark, something is definitely wrong with the appliance. A 500 watts 24v inverter I recently replaced the burnt fuse (I had loaned it out to a guy who misused it and returned it not working) worked again when I connected it to a DIY 24v 18650 pack. That was weeks ago. And I thought I was rest assured I have a functional backup inverter. Two days ago, the main 2.5kw inverter started acting up. So I decided to bring the 500w inverter online to handle the inverter freezer in the interim. I connected the battery but noted that the DCB (between battery and inverter) instantly springs back to "off" each time I flip it on. It was protecting against a potential spark, I guess. So I decided to leave it in "on" position while I connect the battery to inverter terminals. The spark I got no be here. It welded/chopped off a large chunk of the battery wire terminals and also the threads on the inverter screw terminals distorted. I honestly keep wondering what could be wrong after it had initially worked well following the fuse replacement weeks ago. Gladly, I trouble shot the main inverter and discovered it was the inside nuts holding the negative terminal battery lugs on the inverter that got a little lose. I wonder why that happened. A tough re-tightening solved the problem. So your inverter with that much spark, something big is wrong. Just consider changing the board jeje, if it's available. |
The species produces toxic eggs and is an apex predator and releasing invasive species into the wild without permission could have a disastrous impact on the ecosystems.Nigerians have discovered their own too that aptly fits this description. The Fulani species. Believed to be a specie that falls between homo erectus and homo sapien, these prehistoric group are native to Futa Jalon in the Guinea, but have recently been discovered in droves off the coast of Southern Nigeria. It is believed their movement is signalled by the current head of the country who they have tropism for. They are often viewed as "primitive humans", or "living fossils" because they have retained some ideological and environmental characteristics of their earliest ancestors, the homo habilis and homo ergaster. As mindless predators, releasing them into the country has really been negatively affecting the ecosystem of late. It is sincerely hoped that by the time the current head's tenure expires, the Buhari-tropism of the Fulani marauders will come to a historic end. Source: homohabilis |
Is Buhari still alive? I thought what Nigeria now has is "presidency" instead of "president" |
Ha! This one that planes and plane parts are falling off from the sky here and there, na wa o. |
Werey dey disguise. |
Now that it's Tinubu's nation newspaper that published this news, there may be some truth to it. |
You are subtly being prepped for an outbreak in Africa, Nigeria likely to be made the epicenter. This is not likely to be a natural outbreak but a man-made one made to look like it broke out of a "wetmarket" in the country/region of origin of the disease. The British and indeed the west already have a pathogen, likely a type of SARS-COV or may be not, but that will likely be devastating to the black race unlike SARS-COV 19 was. |

Things getting shitier and messier for him now that he has been linked with something "North Korea". Cyber terrorism charges loading. |
In fact, he should loose his head join sef. An abomination of human. Those those lost their lives waiting endlessly on queues to get their pension that you looted are now to do what? Oh no I forgot, they are dead and cannot plead for consideration not to lose their lives. These useless thieves, including the politicians. Na dem loot pass, yet na dem dey still beg pass for leniency and mercy. |
Nbotee:The north still works to a large extent. The script of the politicians headed by the Fulani hegemony is to bring as many Nigerians as possible into the poverty circle so that they won't have the chance to compare themselves with or even contest against their own children who schooled in institutions overseas. These children come home to occupy the reserved posts in agencies like the NPA, EFCC, NIA, CBN, EFCC, NHIS etc. Money from the south is used to develop the far north significantly. Even the middle belt have been systemically edged out and it's now that they have realized that they Fulanis does not really care about 'em. Did you notice how beautiful the female hostel at ABU that burned a few weeks ago was? It was in the news. The structure and beauty of the hostel is impressive for something out of Nigeria. I now tried to think of other public universities in southern Nigeria and the few I can recall, their students' hostels are eyesores. |
This is how is gonna play out: He is gonna win and hold sway for his term. Meanwhile it will be a cover for influx of, not Hausas now but Fulanis. After a first term, another person will contest but this time not a Hausa man but a Fulani man. Before you say jack, a Fulani man has become a councillor in Edo state. Knowing Fulanis as people who are not satisfied with power sharing but of total subjugation of the people like they did to the Hausas who originally ones the North, their next aim will be to contest in the state assembly where they can then push thru laws and legislations that favour their Fulani people against the locals (just like they've been doing with Nigeria). Then they will make laws that favour a fulani man to contest as state governor while placing a ban on an indigene from contesting, or at worst tactically frustrating the candidature or aspiration of such person. And so a Fulani man emerges state governor in Edo state. The state will then gradually slide into turmoil and anarchy like it's happening to Nigeria at the moment. This is because the average Fulani man thrives not with peace, but with anarchy and turmoil. Peaceful atmosphere isn't a forte of a Fulani man. The best is to avoid the emergence of this guy as councillor, afterwards the indigenes should sponsor bills banning any non indigene, especially Hausa, from aspiring for political office in that state. Please it's hausa-fulanis. Other ethnicities aside this (Igbos, Yorubas and other hundreds of ethnicities we have in Nigeria) have been known to be moderate and reasonable in co-existing with indigents in the localities where they live. As such such ban on political aspiration may not apply to 'em. Southern Nigerians must do everything possible to start Fulani subjugation. |
But ESN decided to 'help' by arming itself to guard their own forests and bringing back peace to the locals, yet the government rose against ESN. You failed to go after the marauding herdsmen that have used those forests as hideout, ESN then did what you left undone and successfully repelled the miscreants. Why then did you now go after ESN instead of showing some appreciation and assuring 'em that you'll take over from there? |
Please who knows the story behind these pictures. I came across it on the internet and it's a recent story, I think.

Taqqiya. Do not listen to their pleas. They stoop to you today, but tomorrow they will attack you after they know you've relaxed and lost your gurads. |
Yeye police. Na only unarmed protesters den go dey flex muscle with. Ordinary canine rottweiler that will just play with them small, they can't go near it. |
dairykidd:What's STI? What's STD? HIV is an STI and also an STD. It's cool to stick with the general term (STI) or stay specific (HIV) |
Lórí iró At least, they have carried out your ultimate instruction which is to make sure no protests hold there. You must have also given them licence to intimidate and harass even if it means by torture. You must have been categorical that no one should be killed anyway cos you may not survive another lekki killings, but torture will have been sanctioned. So all this tirade of yours about punishing "unknown police" is all audio. |
See as Hisbah just push this chap to success. Maybe I should also go and stand in front of Kaduna government House and say Hell Rufai and Mohammed Bihari are mad. Perhaps Hisbah may help me to get direct audience to Biden for an assylum. |
IYGEAL:This pack of yours isn't looking too good. First worrisome sign is the different colours of the qr code stickers. When that happens, it points to possibility that cells from different production batches were used and at worst case scenario, grade B or grade C cells were salvaged and used. But I'm just assuming, so let's hope I'm wrong. It seems you missed the comments where a contact was dropped. The guy uses good cells (eve cells) for his packs. Actually so far over the past one year, from him I've gotten 3 units 24/100ah packs (around 280k excluding shipping) and 2 units 12/100ah packs. His recent builds, according to him, incorporates ant wireless BMSes. |
anjilgreat:I think this is 12v DC iron. It won't thrive on 230v AC power supply. I have that type of pressing iron in store for about 3 years now. I've only used it on direct battery connection on maybe two occasions before I retired it. I anticipate connecting it directly to a dedicated 18v/150w panel port one of these days to see if it will be finally useful in that set up. |
IYGEAL:* Are the cells used for the pack new cells? * DANGER - 23.7v as LVD cutoff for the pack isn't advisable. Lithium though more than Lead acid is usually forgivable of deep discharges, it still has undesirable deleterious effects on the life span. I'll advice you try 24.4v LVD if you still insist on juicing it a little more on daily basis. * As per the charging issues, it may be due to insufficient panels, in sufficient energy inflow from poorly insolated panels, poor and inefficient cabling/wire guage from panels to SCC, or the use of PWM SCC for a large LFP set up. I have experienced the last issue before. The pack will not go beyond the 26.3v mark, at best 26.6v on the set up. The panels (1280w installed capacity) were apparently sufficient for the 24v/100ah battery but since the MPPT SCC shipping was slowed down, I made do with 60A PWM SCC. This problem is made worse if you have load on the inverter while the sun is charging. This means that you may be able to get by with a PWM arrangement if there's no load on the system so that all panel powers gets dumped directly into the LFP pack. Since I used PWM CC, I also noticed that the wires get hot (energy losses), that also disappeared with the change to MPPT. The moment I changed the CC to MPPT and appropriately re-configured the panel, battery hits 28v by noon. Also, while discharging, it discharges gradually from 26.4v but rapidly from around 25.4v to cut off at 23.7 (as I set it).As per your lithium battery discharge curve, that looks like the normal discharge curve to me. Assuming your battery was fully charged (above the 26.6v mark), you would have enjoyed the discharge curve (after sundown) stay a long time on the 26.4v to 26.0v. Rapid discharge phase on the curve should start at around 25.0v, depending on the load on the system. Finally, since you suspect that the in-built CC of the inverter may not efficiently charge your pack, I will suggest you try using an external MPPT CC. You also have the added advantage of more flexibility to tweak things to favour your battery pack. IYGEAL:Just read to this point. Glad you got saved nuturing a terrible bias against LFP. Enjoy your pack. |
If this is true, if it is not one of the lies peddled by politicians to paint 'emselves as "delivering", then I dare say that it's a good development. Let's hope GMB will not see reasons to cancel it like he did to Jakande's Lagos Metro during his first stint as a ruler in the country. More FDIs is needed not only to Lagos but to the entire Southern Nigeria, in preparation to peaceful breakup of the entity called Nigeria. Or at least in preparation for regional system of government. |
FFK sef deny pass this. All na lórí iró Before we know it, yèyé Bello came out to verify it. |
COVID 19 protocols were NOT observed. And that's for the fact that the said guy is a politician, one of Fáyemí's minions. He is the one that currently owns the lady, hmmm. With all the Chelsea and Barca. The guy dey try. |
bubudeen:Add: * Illegal possession of arms * Public harassment with intent to commit grievous bodily harm * Conspiracy to commit armed robbery (with him being a keeper of the gun for the original owner) |
Apparently this guy has fondness for big-br3asted women. Tonto Dike too was has 'em big. That is his fad. Some guys like big backside. Either front or behind, it's all more cushion (double Cushing) for the pushing. |
If I were the guy, I'll deeply appreciate the gesture and leave that place immediately under the guise of retirement. He's 65 already, so retiring isn't an odd decision. If he fails to do this, he is now known even by those Boko Haram members who hitherto did not know him. Also with these prize gifts, marauders, hoodlums, kidnappers and BH members will want their own slice of the goody. Leaving that place is one way to guarantee that he still lives to see 70 years birthday. |
Oh no. This event just added more reasons for those Futa Jalonians to hold back onto the south. This should have occured much later, after crude must have dried up in most places in the country and the value has dropped drastically. It should have occured in the same manner crude oil got discovered in Nigeria after the British agreed to and indeed granted us our independence, something that wouldn't have ever occured if the black gold had been discovered earlier than 1958/59. |
PataAlhajaKeji:It's sad the way Nigerians analyse situations, and that is what the political elite (oppressors) majors on to divide the commonly oppressed. A hungry man or poor man will likely have no chance for critical analysis because his immediate need is to fill his stomach. Hence anything that is offered to him to partially defeat that hunger will be gold. Even if he is asked to kill his own mother in order to be fed, he will likely do it without critical analysis or questioning that condition. The politicians know that the presence of the middle class is what drives people to challenge the political class. And even though a middle class drives development as well, the political class prefers to sacrifice development on the alter of perpetuation of parochial interest and greed. That is why the government is seriously waging war to make sure that the middle class is defeated, eliminated and finally keep everyone not in their caucus in the lowest rung of the social strata. You see, the last endsars protest at its inception defied all logic and plans of the political class. There was UNIFICATION of the conveners and the participants. The sense of BROTHERHOOD and COMMON INTEREST awed and scared the leaders who saw that a continuation of that threatens their very own existence and relevance. Videos abound online showing overwhelmed and defeated thugs that escaped the protest venues in unmarked SUVs that are truly government vehicles. Participants and even non participants who sustained collateral inconvenience or damage resulting from sponsored hoodlums that attacked were promptly compensated financially by pooled funding. Smashed car windscreens were repaired, participants who fell ill were attended to, private securities were provided and the momentum was one to beat. The UNITY was a threat to the oppressors. Having failed in the initial wave of hoodlums deployment to disrupt the peaceful protests, the government's next strategy was to freeze major conveners bank account in order to stifle sustenance of the protest, but that failed as funding moved to another platform entirely out of reach of the government. The last resort was major confrontation by the security operatives - the politician's major tool of subjugation and intimidation of the masses (oppressed) of which you, your widow neighbour and I belong. This time it was to be total decimation with the use of extreme force, disregarding every form of Rules of Engagement. It was an illegal venture by the government, hence the reason it was all shrouded in secrecy, subtlety and under the cover of darkness. The CCTVs and the killing of ambient lights of the toll gate are in support of this fact! This time around, the losses will be more than broken windshields, dented cars or even broken limbs, that can all be repaired or replaced. With this new onslaught by the military (sent in by the government/politicians), loves will be lost. A dead person cannot be revived, lost lives are irreplaceable. Your government knows that very well and knows that this will justifiably spike emotions through the roof. What they didn't envisage was that the emotions will be directed more against them, not by the original conveners but now by the their hoodlums who will now see everything as a free for all. Hence the target of politicians, their properties and the police (who had been their tool) in the next phase of uncoordinated, free for all protest that followed. Many of these politicians escaped into neighouring countries or stayed right there in Abuja, fearing for their lives to come to their properties. Mr. Macaroni was one of those hit by the more emotional and irreplaceable or irreparable "loss of life" event of a government sponsored "terrorism". He realized that he couldn't fight to bring back the lost live but he could at least fight for justice thru the arbitration panel. Shockingly, the same panel approved the re-opening of the scene of execution of his loved one before any form of appeasement, arbitration or even justice was served. How insensitive! Your own loss was that of your widowed neighbour who lost not her life nor that of anyone close to her, but her shops looted. These are replaceable items, which pooled funding can promptly address. Mr. Macaroni's bereavement is incomparable. But according to the play script of the oprressors (government/politicians), you have exuded your emotion against your likes that you are being oppressed together and instead in support of your oppressors. This is the classical Stockholm's syndrome. Everyone has losses in the path of struggle, albeit in varying degrees. What the oppressors dread is UNITY of PURPOSE from the oppressed. But if we all have/focus our eyes on the prize and the future enjoyment that will result from our struggle like our heroes past did, then we will overcome the oprressors. Starve a chicken for many days and when you maltreat it it, it still sees you as the saviour. Taking opportunity of Stockholm's syndrome is a major past time of the political class. You have clearly fallen into that trap. |
