nsiba:Aren't you disgruntled that he was not caught with drugs this time, against what may have been the situation eight times outta ten? He appears to be doing legitimate work. And I sincerely hope that may give him some leverage in the judicial process. The only felony to his name for a whole six years seems to be overstaying his visa. If there is any way he can renew it, they should allow him biko. I really feel for him now. Stewart883:At least he makes a decent living in India away from life of crime and also far away from the many uncertainties and insecurities that currently plague Nigeria, ably amplified by the Fulani patron. If Nigeria was good, you can bet it that people will live to stay back. I earn good in this country and take vacations to other climes but believe me if I earn much less and considering the fact that in this country the millions you earn here may become useless when faced with insecurity, kidnapping, police brutality and ethnoreligious conflicts, I'd have though of relocating completely. |
Adegboruwa said, “I salute the courage of the governor. He displayed rare statesmanship and courage. I think it is a lesson for all governors to take hold of their territory and safeguard the lives and properties of people.Help Ekiti people tell that useless governor Fáyemí who is seriously mortgaging the safety and security of millions of Ekiti indigenes for a plate of morsel from Buhari. Fáyemí's 2023 inordinate presidential ambition will make him look away from Fulani crimes in his state. I don't even know who is advising that dude and urging him onto keep pursuing that mirage of a presidential position. |
NiyiOmoIyunade:I hope you should have answers already. But I jutcallmenuel has the 100 amp DCB. He advertised it to me although I needed 60 amps which I eventually got from him too. |
Before ñkó? Didn't Hiliary Clinton stand with Bill her husband thru all the Monika Lewinsky sex scandal despite firensics showing overwhelming evidence of her husband culpability? Abeg make una leave that one. Nature abhors vaccum, Nuru Adam's wife knows that and she isn't prepped for another woman to come into that house to take her place, a woman that did not start the humble begining with Nuru. |
Ishilove:Which one is LASRA again nítorí olórun? This one that is sounding like something out of a Sci-Fi movie. Omoluabi16:Sane Nigerians have been too critical of the government's activities of late, including the end SARS scandal. I guess they need something to punish Nigerians and also keep you busy from noticing their uselessness. |
Peterlove11:You can chat up the seller explaining your predicament. Then request if he can split the money into 5 different payments of 100 USD each. Some of them have item links in their store that costs 1 USD. They will give you the link and ask you to pay for 100 pieces of the item (100usd) Then get 5 trusted persons (friends or family members) with GTB or Zenith bank card (the two banks that have their monthly limit set at 100 usd and fairly reasonable exchange rate) and use the cards with each 100 USD payment. I think UBA and First bank still have 500 USD as monthly limit, but their exchange rate is killing, literally |
Let one useless Tinubu now come and say to Nigerians that "if you say they are Fulanis, where are the cows?" You see, the plan of the Fulani hegemony is to cull for themselves all the wealth of the country. They already have the political structure in the form of Buhari and the lopsided appointments. They have ensured only they can have any serious holds on BDCs while a few non-fulanis are also given some crumbs in that sector. Their foot soldiers are the kidnappers and their own job is to get money and wealth from the masses. These millions are remitted to their Ogas (which may be one governor in one of those states) while the guys themselves get paid pittances as low as 20k to 50k per operation. Being that these are the Modus Operandi of the Fulani, those unfortunate incidences above were all that happened in CAR (Central African Republic) right from when Fulanis took over the seat of presidency in that country. The people later revolted and pushed out the incumbent in an all out war between citizens, military and the national guard. The national guard could not even stop the revolters as they approached their presidential lodge. The president had to flee. The people of CAR freed themselves from the impression of the Fulanis, but not until they had damaged the country beyond repair. If the Fulanis were allowed to wield power in South Africa or the USA today, the same Modus Operandi will play out. RemoveKebab:They know the clock is ticking. People already breed serious animosity towards them which will be unleashed post 2023. They know this too and that is why in this recent times, we will likely see a rise in the spate of crimes committed by the Fulani. They will likely work on the double to acquire as much as possible before they lose the power come 2023. |
I sincerely hope the Chines will not give them money again, at least for now. Not until things are looking up for the government economy-wise. Or till when they decide to cut loose their excesses and overbloated emoluments - both the legislature and the executives I mean. If not, what they'll do is collect the money, construct a sunatandard rail to Niger republic, swallow the remaining dollars and hoard them against 2023 elections. |
tianshie:There you have it. He's the midget in the picture.

The estranged husband of "Orisabunmi" really dealt with KSA then. KSA reportedly had a brief fling with her while she was still with Jimoh "Aworo" Aliu, the estranged husband. Jimoh Aliu, also a popular actor, is a no nonsense guy. The moment he found out, he went to work. KSA fell ill and was flown abroad for treatment. But he did not get better. Consultations were made and he was asked to apologise to Jimoh Aliu while a lot of other popular personalities also interceded and helped him to beg Jimoh Aliu. He was placated and freed KSA from his ailment. The former on getting back to Nigeria released an album then. "Triumph" was the title of the album. In it he thanked Nigerians for holding fort and for their prayers while he was away on treatment. Of course those that knew what really transpired knew what happened. Never in his remaining life has he tried to look onto another man's wife with lust. Surprisingly Jimoh Aliu too passed away couple of months ago. Few months after, the estranged wife, Orisabunmi, followed, though hers is said to be COVID 19 related. |
The lady will end up commuting paternity fraud and carrying your child to her husband. Later she will be scared of doing DNA. |
Hisbah should handle the case. Or is Yobe not a Sha-ri-ya state again? But wait, this midget too? This is even worse than El-Ruffian's size. And he was able to get a girl to get down with? Indeed when money and influence dey, you'll get the most beautiful women laid at your feet.

Laughable! So Iran now thinks that because Trump has gotten himself on the wrong side of the law in the US with his recent tantrums, they can just declare him wanted, àbí? He is an ex-US president for goodness sake. He is as precious to the US as every other former US presidents, being guarded with CIA men and shyte and entitled to every pecks of former US presidents. But of course, Iran is a sovereign country. They have every right as a country to declare anyone who they have deemed wronged them as wanted. The question is can they effect an arrest? |
Congratulations to him. They should also encourage the remaining of our politicians back here in Nigeria, starting from General Buhari to receive any of the various forms of covid vaccines available. If they survive, good cos we will be rest assured they can't infect the citizens, so also will the citizens finally have some reasons to also take the vaccines. If they die, it's still good. Cos the citizens and the country will eventually have been rid of their pestilence. |
Another bitter truth. In fact, talking about Nigeria as it is currently constituted is best avoided to keep one's sanity. When asked whether the new train was a plus to Buhari’s regime, he said, “I don’t want to talk about Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. I think it is best for my sanity just to avoid that overall question. I can take bits and pieces of Nigeria’s present predicament but I think for one’s sense of balance, one must forget the existence of the Buhari administration.”@ bolded. Can we assume that Buhari is indeed dead and what we have at the rock is an impostor? It may be that the North is seriously trying to avoid the shame of losing Abacha and Yara'adua a third time. So they thoguth it best to just manage to weather the 2nd term till it ends with a lookalike. VPYO has been silent most times and understandably due to National security. Aisha has probably done DNA paternity test and realized the impostor isn't her real husband and she's therefore taken refuge in Dubai. The refusal of Woke Soyinka to talk about Buhari may be that he doesn't wanna be caught lying (cos the truth about Buhari's demise will still come out sooner or later), so it's best to be cryptic about it. |
Reno "Wendell Simlin" Omokri has a point in this. But like El Ruffian's daughter got away with her cleavage and back-revealing dress she wore during her wedding mobile in the same breath a Nollywood actress of northern extraction was condemned for same, was the same manner his son escaped the gang rape threat he personally posted on twitter, or is it "instangram" (in Lai Mohammed's voice) |
He said, “The father of the victim has no loco standing for him to tell the police that he’s no longer pressing charges against the Commissioner because he is not our complainant. On a lighter note: this statement will read somehow if we substitute the word "loco" for what it really means from a Mexican translation. Crazy, ![]() |
He broke the law of an estate yet he has the audacity to still try to prove a point. You didn't stop at that but the devil in you pushed you to further invite your remaining siblings to commit greater crime. "Mulero" is Yoruba and it means to "hold the fort" I guess the trio of the brothers will only be available to hold fort the name of the family in the can, males for that matter. |
It's only the US government that can tell their citizens to do such because they are dead sure to intervene in their rescue and send all those kidnappers to meet with their creator for judgement. Even Nigerian governments itself pays ransom to kidnappers. Any other government in Nigeria and maybe the Chinese government too (they too failed to do anything about their citizens kidnapped in Ekiti state) that gives such advice, please ignore it. dwilliams:You just read a news reporting of some babbling from a nicompoop SSG of Katsina state. Reading more would be toturous for anyone and I could have adviced you to search the internet for more on the news but I risk making myself a nicompoop too. |
ojeysky:Yes exactly. Something like that. |
NiyiOmoIyunade:@Rajo4real, Have a 100 watts and a 200 watts (not SMS brand though) that I got from the guy too (justcallmenuel). I not being a fan of PIR for ambient lighting, I asked for ones without PIR sensor. This means they stay at full brightness always. The brightness last all thru the night into dawn when it automatically turns off. |
Ahn ahn! See what I just mentioned earlier. Why d'you have to lace your response with insults? Don't you have a more civil way of passing across your points and opinions? Paraphrasing my opening statement: "This is laudable and anything that will ensure the entrenchment of the evasive security by the people is highly welcome" I even went ahead to still condemn the actions of one of the apparent allies of the Fulani hegemony (one of the governor's in the south west). If you look deeply in my write up, you will see traces of good intention to avoid a brushpaint of entho-religious bias. My belief is even if the citizens in the north see ways to rid themselves of the bad eggs and the government that is working overtime to plunge the North East into chaos, I'm all for it. This means without doubt that I am on the same page with ESN as long as they are strategic enough not to give a loophole for the more "government-backed" marauders But in your emotionally driven response, you still found it convenient to lace your response to me - a potential ally - with vitriolics. You disregarded the rule of public discourse of passing your disapproval across in a civil manner. You cannot deny the fact that IPOB headed by NK overdid their struggle by launching verbal insults on South West installations, businesses and the people. This seriously impacted the public sympathy that may have gotten from that part of the country. The fact is the struggle is "the people versus the government". But when you now make it a case of "you against the government" and "you against other people", how do you expect to succeed? Check out the days of Radio Kudirat during Abacha junta. It was hinged on the people (Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas) against the government. Despite Radio Kudirat being a brainchild of South West agitators, they did not launch an all out attack against the Hausa/the north because Abacha is of northern extraction, neither did it target the East. The platform hosted presenters across divides and regions, forming allies and making friends across ethnoreligious divides in the fight against oppression from a common enemy. So if you have reservations with my use of "IPOB", be civil in showing your disapproval. Skim thru the exerps below. Have a good night. Just be strategic. Don't overdo things cos that is one problem I have with IPOB. They tend to overdo things and also vehemently insult potential allies and cast vitriolics on those that tend to advice them to slow things down a little bit. Be slow and steady about it. Don't shed bloods when carrying out this campaign. Remember that the Fulani government is on the side of the herders so whatever you do, don't give the government an excuse to turn the heat on you. NwaAro: |
NwaAro:Laudable. The people have decided to take their destinies in their own hands and if this is what it takes to entrench the much needed and evasive security, then so be it. The fulani militia will want to launch reprisal attacks, so be prepared to push back relentlessly. The south west has applied some form of diplomatic approach to solving the Fulani problem. Successful, albeit little, it's an approach that one of the yèyé governors is utilizing selfishly. But the indigenes themselves have advocated a more direct and confrontational approach. The said governor almost created a village for Fulanis in that town if not for the indigenes that vehemently resisted it and warned the governor. They chased out those Fukanis and pulled down their huts and flags that they've placed to mark their territories. The guy I'm talking about is Fáyemí. He is eyeing presidency. He has flatly told Ekiti indegenes that he does not require their votes to win and that money is what will speak in the elections, which may be true. But he will not be the only contestant. He will definitely have other contestants with better résumé. So he shouldn't be too confident. |
Please what's the monthly limit on GTB currently pegged at? |
NIPOST have started their wahala again o. They have stopped sorting. With delays of some items in "arrived destination country", I had to put a call thru and they were talking in the funny about Corona impacting their work. Has the FG instructed workers to stay home and I didn't get to hear of it? |
zeestone99:Abeg, is the one with UK plug available? |
richie240:As someone earlier pointed out, once in a while there will be persins-miss-road that will visit the thread and give some entertainment, then either leaves or receed to the background after realising their folly. If I remember clearly we also had one last year, 2019. I think unprovoked he just jumped into the thread and begun throwing insults on peeps here. This year is almost over. It's amusing but not surprising that the character for 2020 showed up in the last days of the year. @ richie240, just relax and enjoy the show. |
ojesymsym:Actually the inverter devices save power much more than the regular ones under the same conditions. The inverter freezer does not have surge current like the regular ones have. It starts at 80 watts and slowly ramps up to the wattage its logic control dictates depending on how cool the interior is sensed to be. I have used the 319 litres successfully on a 300 watts inverter and the latter didn't even groan under the load of the freezer. The compressor is powered by a variable drive motor, which means it can increase to work like a 500 litres compressor to speed up cooling and it can also slow down to work like an 80 litres freezer once good interior temperature has been achieved. The consumption reduces once it senses that adequate cooling has been achieved. The reduction can be as much as half the consumption of regular counterpart devices. This is also the way the inverter AC, inverter washing machine and inverter microwave works. When all these energy saving scenarios are achieved and added up, it beats the regular devices hands down. What I would have loved is for the freezer to have some degree of user adjustable settings like the inverter ACs have. That way, you can ramp down the compressor speed as you desire to accommodate your battery storage capacity, of course at the compromise of cooling rate and speed. |
Ceaser01:And I mailed the supermods as @ NiyiOmolyunade suggested. Apparently it worked. Ban lifted and the hidden post restored. eleojo23: ![]() |
essegis:Probably cos it was on our public utility which is useless. Even AVRs may sometimes be unable to fully protect appliances, especially fragile ones, from damage from our public utility. Nonetheless that's a worrisome review for the fact that mine has only ran for about four months. I hope I'd be saved that horror. ojeysky:I believe the frequent opening and closure gives that undesirable phenomenon. It not only entails opening the lid, but when you get to remove chilled drinks and frozen items from it to sell and then replace with new (warm) ones several times in a day, one might not get to see that power saving thing. Occasionally when left overnight, it shows around 166 watts by morning but before you know it opening and closure starts again. A careful observation shows that after about the fourth opening, the wattage increases from that 166w to 188w and then settles at 190w. It's almost always packed full with items that are constantly being removed and replaced. It's also used to sell ice blocks, so it freezes just fine with the exception of that high consumption. |
